Internal order budger in SRM

Hi,
We create statistial internal order with budget in SAP, and in SRM we key in IO in account assignment together with PA account assignment.
But in SRM, the budget display is in PO header data, it only display the IO in the first PO line item.
and the assigned part of the budget is not right.
Even all the PO line item use the same IO, the assigned part of the budget calculated by SRM is not right.
Does anybody meet this before? Is it SRM standard bug?

    We tried to make a transactions to the internal order, having available amount and we have posted the transaction less than the available amount yet received a yellow error message that the internal order budget almost exhausted. We checked the internal order budget it transaction KO22 and our prospective booking fit to the budget. But still we were unable to post because of the internal order budget. We could only solve to increase the budget with a bigger amount so we could reprocess the file.  Why is it always that the report shows budget is available but we are unable to post due to insufficient funds. Only on adding more funds we are able to post the transactions.
    Which is the correct report to view the budged is available and utilized.

  • SWL SC only considers partial amount of Internal Order

    Greetings, Experts.
    We are using SRM 4.0 - Classic and use Portal for creating SC.
    We have an Internal Order no. 1111 in the backend with original budget as 1000 GBP and unassigned budget as 700 GBP (1000 less 300 assigned to already created PO's). The Internal order is created for Controlling Area CA01 which has PDR as the currency.
    We create SHOP WITH LIMIT (SWL) SC in USD currency with this internal order as account assignment. Reason of using USD (instead of GBP which is the Internal order currency) is - we want PO in USD because Vendor currency is USD. The resultant PO will have account assignment = F(order) and Item Cat=D (service).
    For simplicity sake assume that 700 GBP = 1200 USD.
    When we specify limit amount as 1200 USD in SWL SC, the system throws error that this amount exceeds the budget. Not only this, say for any amount more than 300 USD, the system keeps on throwing this error and we can not create the SC.
    In essence, we can not use the full unassigned amount to crete SWL SC.
    The system allows to create SC if Limit amount is less than 300 USD.
    We have tested -
    1) If we create SHOP SC (as against SWL), the system allows full unassigned amount of internal order.
    2) If we create stand-alone PO in the backend, the system allows full unassigned amount of internal order.
    Please help in resolving - why the system does not allow full unassigned amount of internal order while creating SWL SC?

  • Internal Order number is copied while cretaing new SC from Old PO

    Hi,
    We are on SRM 5.0. When i tried to create a new shopping cart through by copying the old shopping cart from 'Old Purchase Orders and templates' the Internal Order number is also being copied which is a problem.

    Thanks for the response. Yes we are using using internal order(IO) in account assignment.
    This creates a problem, because the approver is unable to identify if the PR is  one which is already approved that was rejected by someone else (so therefore doesn't need a new IO), or whether it's a brand new PR that needs a new IO.
    So is there someway so that the cost assignment does NOT get copied onto the new PR? Any relevant BADI's that can be used ?

  • Defaulting to Internal Orders to Cost Assignment?

    The SRM application is currently defaulting to Internal Orders for Cost Assignment. This is despite the fact that in the configuration, we have removed Internal Orders as active.
    Any help with this will be gratly appreciated

  • Copy Internal Order between Investment Programs

    We have a investment program in approval year 2014  which has 1 Internal Order assigned to it and the budget has been fully allocated.  We want to budget against this internal
    Now we have created a new investment program in approval year 2015 and want to the use the internal order(measure from the invesment program in 2014. We have tried the following:
    IM22 Change program - assignments add internal order get error message "There is already an existing assignment to program position 2014"
    IMCAOV Budget Carryfoward - No impact on the measure as there is no budge to carry forward.
    Can anyone advise how we can budget on the same Internal Order in the new fiscal year ?

    the little late answer to your question is the table IMZO. It links the investment program / positions to internal orders. I found this thread while searching for my own problem which is quite the same:
    In my WebDynpro for ABAP investment planning tool I'm using the FM BAPI_INTERNALORDER_CREATE to create internal orders as a result of the planning process. This BAPI is similiar to the transaction ko01 except that I can't assign an investment program / position to my internal order (this is also pointed out in the help to the BAPI/FM).
    But how can I assign an investment program / position to my internal order NOT using an ABAP insert/update statement on the table IMZO (which links the internal orders and investment programs/positions).
    Does anybody know a FM or BAPI I could use? I really don't like the idea of a self made insert/update into a sap table...

  • Internal order error: AuC missing for origin assignment

    Hi,
    We had this requirement of blocking Internal Orders (their use has been discontinued from the past 2 years). I used KOK4. Many of the orders got blocked except for those of Order Type Capex. The following error appears:
    AuC missing for origin assignment LHI
    Message no. AY089
    Diagnosis
    Object concerned: Order ####### .
    The object has investment profile ABCD and origin structure IM. In investment profile ABCD, the indicator "AuC per origin structure and origin assignment" is set. However, there is no asset under construction for origin assignment LHI of origin structure IM.
    System Response
    Processing is not carried out.
    Procedure
    Create the missing asset under construction online (Change object: Extras --> Asset under construction).
    When I go the the master data of that particular Order & click on Extras --> Asset under construction, I can see many Source Assignments with assets, but against Source Assignment LHI, the asset is blank & Status shows "Create AuC"
    My queries are as follows:
    1) Is there any other way I can block internal orders?
    2) If not, then can I create Assets under Construction separately, or do I have to go to each of the Internal orders & create them (600+ orders) ?
    3) Will the system allow me to create AuC now when the Order status is REL AUC AVAC BUDG GMPS ISBD SET ?
    4) Any other suggestions?

    thanks for the answer, i checked FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL is not available in this system.
    I have to get the Information in a Programm which is executed in ERP.
    I need to check if a Internal order has a Project Leader.
    Do you have any other idea how to get this info?

    We have activated commitment mgt for PM orders. We are able to see commitments (PR/PO costs) against PM order. However my client wants, if PM order account assignment is internal order or cost center. The same commitments should appear on account assignment object as well.

    I already answered, but once again:
    - component planning is designed to add components to PM work order, from a web catalog, and from EBP web transaction --> NO SC CREATED FROM EBP COMPONENT PLANNING SCREEN. IS THIS CLEAR ?
    - R/3 PR can be sourced in SRM. In standard, no approval WF is triggered for this kind of SC. To change this behavoir, you need to change the standard ABAP code. OK ??
    Sourcing steps in SRM:
    - SC will be sent to sourcing cockpit
    - purchasers access those unsourced SC items and use provided feature (like bidding engine) to assign a source of supply. Then they can create a PO, that will fullfill the initial R/3 PR.

  • Internal Order budgeting not checking at the time of FB60

    Dear All Experts,
    Very Good Morning !
    I have configured IO budgeting with Overall Planning ticked budget profile. I have assigned budger profile to Order type also.
    In KO23 I have given limit also of Rs.10,000 /- for overall and yearly 2011 Rs,5,000 /-. In define tolerance I have maintained two entries as below : 1 is with 01 Group wich will check PO's and 2nd one is 04 Group which will check Financial account document. ( I hope this correct, If not please rectify me ). In tolerance limit I have given 3 as a error should throw.
    I refer this thread [Internal Order Budget - Availability Control|Internal Order Budget - Availability Control; from our SDN forum. I activated budget control from KO23 and referring KO30 now system is showing GREEN Availability control is active.
    Now when I am running FB60 with assignment IO, system is not throwing any error, warning , it remains normal posting is happening.
    If anybody has gone through the same issue, experts inputs / guidance will be very helpfull.

    Your tolerance limits are fine
    Let me put you some points here.
    Creating IO
       1. Investment Profile is mandatory for Capital projects
       2. If you are using Investment management, then check IM32, & IM52
       3. KO02 - Check  - Investments tab - IM Program and Position ID assinged or not
       4. Need to assign the budget in both Controlling area currecny and object currency (KO12, & KO22)
       5. Availability control should be Active - KO30
       6. Planner plofile - KP04 - Just press F4 and check - if there are any created for your controlling area
       7. Check if you have any line itesm already posted to the IO - KOB1, KOB2, KOB3
    Now, the actual plan is - KPF6 and KDF6
    Here you need to input the below details
    Version                    0
    From Period               01
    To Period                      12
    Fiscal Year          2011
    Order                                           input the order
                      to
             or group
    Cost Element                              which Cost elemtn you are going to post in FB60
                      to
             or group
    Enter those details and in next screen - give the amount for that cost element.
    Now o and post in FB60

  • Internal Order Status in delta loads

    We are using the standard BW delta extractor for Internal Orders (Data Source :0COORDER_ATTR). We have enhanced the data source to bring in a couple of extra fields including System Status. We find that a Status change in the Internal Order (e.g. from REL TO BUDG) does not trigger a delta & subsequently records with Status changes are not brought into BW. Any suggestions on how to handle Internal Order & WBS Status Changes.

    The delta datasource will not be able to pick-up changes in the extra enhanced fields that you might have appended. What I have seen being done in situations like this is to convert the loading from delta to full load. This will take longer but will solve your problem.
    If the data volume is very high, then you could keep the existing load as delta, but create another datasource having just the order number and the status for which you can do a full load into 0COORDER master data.

    I have created the IO- KO01
    Assign Budget         - KO22
    Activated tolerance limit and availability control and released the IO
    status of IO is- REL AUC AVAC BUDG
    Now, i want to create the PR/PO for this IO. Please tell me the process ahead ie. which a/c assign category is to be used,what document type is needed etc.
    Please Also , suggest what are the other things/configuration needed for the same i,e. G/L assignment or Cost Element creation.
    Please help experts.

    .1. Create Investment program  (IM01 u2013 Create)
    2. Create top node (IM11 u2013 Create Top Position)
    3. create position id (IM22 u2013 Change)
    4. Put appropriate budget on position id (IM32 u2013 Edit Original)
    5. Create an internal order with internal order type CAPX- Capital Investment Orders (KO01 u2013 Create)
    6. System will ask to create AuC assets at this time. We need to create AuC Assets here. It will be used to post the value from CWIP account at the month end.
    7. Assign this order to appropriate investment program node. (IM32 u2013 Edit Original)
    8. Change the status of I/O from u201CINPL- Initial Planning by Locationsu201D to u201CINPR- In-Principle Sanctionu201D (KO02-Change)
    9. Allocate the appropriate budget to this I/O (T-Code IM52)
    10. Change the status of I/O from u201CINPR- In-Principle Sanctionu201D to u201C30 APPR Board Note Approu201D and from u201C30 APPR Board Note Approu201D to u201C40 EXEC Execution Phaseu201D. (KO02: Change)
    11. Create PO with reference of this I/O and give the expense GL account (ME21)
    12. Goods receipt (MIGO) with reference to PO and refer the vendor excise invoice created in above step.
    13. At this time cost element u201CCWIP accountu201D will be posted with reference of I/O. (KOB1 Line Item display for Order)
    14. At the month end we need to run the settlement for the I/O through KO88. It will post the value to AuC and credit the u201CCWIP accountu201D. It makes the CWIP account zero at the month end.
    15. Create an assets master for final settlement. (AS01)
    16. To settle the value from the AuC to Final asset we need to run the order settlement once again and at this time we need to give the final assets in the settlement rule for I/O. It will post the final assets and credit the AuC. (KO88 u2013 Line Item settlement)
    17. At the month end depreciation need to be run (AFAB u2013 Execute)
    18. Do retirement for transferee asset.

  • Release budget for internal order

    Dear SAP experts,
    In our scenario (classic scenario) from an approved SC a PO is created in the backend, with reference to a specific internal order, inserted from the requestor in the SC.
    Suppose 10 items are ordered each of value 10 (so PO total value is 100), but only 9 items are delivered. When we create confirmation in SRM, the order will always remain partially confirmed.
    My question is: how can we “release” that delta budget (100-90) from the internal order?

    thanks for you answer.
    I already checked that if the PO refers to a contract, the value of the PO against a specific position of the contract is correctly updated (in the example above, is set to 90 and not 100, after final invoice is checked), so I think that the behavior is similar for internal order budget.
    However, how can I check if the internal order budget has been released? Is there a list of committments related to a specific order? (I'm sorry if these are basic questions, but I am new to FI-CO issues).

    I already review the accounting and is pretty fine.
    The system creates document type WE and RE for the Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt.
    Unfortunately in transaction FBLN the system shows as a Open Item, and honestly I don't know the reason.

    We've configured Asset Accounting in Development server for our newly implemented Company but the problem is when I'm going to create Internal Order (T-code: KO01) our company not showing there. Fyki, we've three CO area like MGH0, MGHI and MGHP but when I'm going to KO01 it is showing only those companies which are under MGHI only.
    Would you please advise us, whether I left any configuration or not. Please also let me know how can I solve this issue.
