Invalid/unknown SSL header was received from peer uma during SSL handshake
Hello,
I get the following error when switching from https:// to http:// and clicking on the browser back button and performing the same action again in the https://
e.g
In my https://uma:7040/test.jsp
I perform an action and go to http://uma:7004/index.jsp and now I click on the browsers back button and go to https://uma:7040/test.jsp. I try to perform the same action that I did previously. And I get this error.
Did I do anything wrong here? Please correct me.

I got it. I have to modify the startManagedWeblogic.cmd file and I did that. Here is a complete log of the error and infor messages.

Hi,
I am having Weblogic 8.1 (SP5) Application Server running in US. I have a GUI application which is talking to this application server using SSL protocol. We have same SSL certificates installed machines from where this GUI application is executed.
When I connect to this app. server from India, I am able to connect and do required operations, without any problem
Using same GUI application when a user tries to connect from US, he is able to connect and do some basic operation. But after some time suddenly the connection with the server gets broken and he is not able to do any further operation. After that when he closes the application and tries to connect again, he is able to connect. Again after sometime server communication is broken. But I am able to connect and do operation on the same server and at the same time without any connection break up.
When I checked Weblogic logs (wl-domain.log), I saw the below error printed.

But server has not gone down, its up all the time. Only thing is after this error comes up, user is not able to do any operation. He has to close the application and reconnect to the server. This is happening after random operation and there is no particular pattern for this. Server connection gets broken after every 5-10 minutes when connected from US.
Does anyone have any idea why this error comes?
Does it have to do anything with Operation System?Please clarify. Do you believe that this is a JRockit error? If not, I would recommend one of the WebLogic newsgroups instead.

Using 8.1 I am running in a clustered environment. I have 1 question and 1 issue.
I have an Admin server, a managed server, and a load balancer (as a managed server also). I am trying to enable SSL on the load balancer. My first question is regarding the startup. When I start my managed servers, I noticed them loading the keystores numerous times:

So I believe it is trying to use SSL with the SecureProxy parameter set (at least something changes). But why am I still getting the Invalid/unknown SSL header error. Enabling the SSL debug logs does not really provide much more information, that I can see.
All servers are being run through the same domain. SSL is enabled on all servers, and listen ports disabled. My webtier has the transport-guarantee set to CONFIDENTIAL.

I configured the Keystore & SSL information for all 3 servers in cluster. I also disabled their Listen Ports (http) and enabled SSL Listen Ports (https).

When I restarted all 3 servers and see the console on admin server (console-->domain-->Servers), I get state="UNKNOWN" for both managed servers. For admin server its "RUNNING".

I just installed the maximus v extreme motherboard with a ocz vertex 4 ssd with windows 7 x64. Installation was fine and installing drivers went without a hitch. Re-installing the software i use went fine as well.
However, when i went to use iTunes( v10.7) to sync my ipad i got an error message saying:
"Itunes could not connect to the ipad because an invalid response was received from the device"
I then connected my ipod nano to see if it will cause the same error, but it worked fine. So i tried an iphone and the same error I got for my ipad came up.
I tried reinstalling the usb drivers, but the same error came up. I also updated BIOS to the latest version, but the error still came up. I also reinstalled itunes numerous times and still got the error. I reinstalled and updated all drivers as well. Again this did not fix the issue. I also tried to run itunes in vista compatability and xp compatability mode. Again this did not fix the issue.
I have also followed all the steps apple recommends to do on their website with regards to this issue, again it did not fix the issue.
It is a real pain as everything else works like a dream! Is there anything i can do to get itunes to work properly on my pc?

nvidia GTX295 (x2 running in Sli)I fixed this problem. Believe the problem is iOS 7 incompatibility with older iTunes Versions on older MacOS systems or platforms.
My iPad 2 would no longer sync with my old PowerPC Mac mini running MacOS. My iPhone 3GS synced fine. IPad2 updated to iOS 7 which doesn't run on my iPhone 3GS. Error message for iPad sync problem was "invalid response received from iPad" out of iTunes. I then applied update iOS 7.1.2 to iPad and error message changed to indicate this version of iTunes not supported, use 11.1.
iPad 2 used to sync prior to iOS 7 installation.
Research on Apple web site shows iOS 7 on iPhones and iPads does not support older MacOS and iTunes versions.
Upgraded with new Mac mini and iTunes 11.1 and MacOS 10.9.2. (put this off as long as I could. )

I have an Ipod Touch 4G, Although I have tried two connection leads to the computer, it comes up with the message ' Itunes could not connect to "Dads Ipod" because an invalid response was received from the device'. I can access the contents of the device via the connection leads using 'My Computer' but not through Itunes as the message always appears!! Using WinVista Homebasic. Is this a known fault with the Ipod4 and VISTA? It works okay on a laptop, however, I would like an expert to take me through the steps to sort out my home desktop computer? Please help? Hi, I am having problems with itunes and my ipad........
I can use my ipad on my laptop but it will not connect to my main PC, I get the error message:

I have done all the Apple support ideas including re-installing itunes twice but no joy.

Alright, I am stumped. I have looked at nearly every article on this error here at Technet and other sites:

First, I am testing this. I have copied the MDOP ADMX/ADML files directly to the client I am testing this on, and I am applying the policy via the Group Policy Management on the local machine. I am not deploying this via the domain. I wouldn't think that

I have an incident in which we need to Scrap the Quality inspection-Quarantine stock.
The details of the issue are
1. QI stock received from a process order which is closed and settled 2 years back.
2. The material was having inspection type with Auto UD without IP
3. Physically the stock is not existing on the Quality inspection floor.
4. Material is having batch without Inspection lot.
5. Batch SLED date is in the past (2013)
6. Tried MB1A with movement type 553 without success.

What is "an unknown error occurred (4002)" received from iTunes store?
When I turn on iTunes, I get the following message, "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (4002)." I have no downloads pending or anything else that I know of. Can't figure this out.
Can try turning iTunes Match off and then if you have Genuis on turn it off - then turn itunes match back on

SKThis message indicates that the SSL connection is closed successfully. It is a warning message and normal to see in the logs when you enable the SSL debug flags. This is an expected behavior. If you see alerts when SSL debug is NOT ENABLED then it is a real alert and we need to take care of those issues. Also, it is not a real alert, it is a caught and handled exception from the certicom code which is not harmful and should be ignored, just because you have enabled the SSL debug flag. Once you turn it off, you won't see it in the logs.

Invalid response received from device
Hello everyone. "iTunes cannot connect to the iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device." I get this message each time I connect my ipod touch to my computer. I have tried reinstalling itunes, uninstalling apple mobile support and all apple related programs and installing them again. However, I would still get the same result. Anyone can help please? -I have 5 files, Ringtone1.m4r, Ringtone2.m4r, Ringtone3.m4r, Ringtone4.m4r and Ringtone5.m4r.
-I add them to the "ringtones" section under "Devices"
-ON ITUNES they show up perfectly fine. In order, and if I play them through itunes, all the ringtones are correct, just how they should be.
-I eject iPhone, go to settings > sounds > ringtone, and under custom, what I see is:

Although we are setting the network credential in the client call we still get the error

Based on the error message, the issue is related to the authentication type.
I suggest you can specify the credential type like the below:
CredentialCache credentialCache = new CredentialCache();
NetworkCredential credentials = new NetworkCredential(UserName, PassWord, sDomain);
credentialCache.Add(new Uri(recordCenterUrl), "NTLM", credentials);

How do you change the Received: From in the message header to correct external address
We have trouble every so often sending a message to customers will get a bounce back. Basically it is using our local internal name (mailserver.local) instead of our External name (mail.domain.com). We have a pretty
simple setup one Server (no edge server) with and SSL certificate. I went in to the Hub Transport setting and made sure the FQDN was mail.domain.com and it was. I have read on the subject some people suggest getting your ISP to create a pointer
record for the IP to the internal name. That will not work for us, because we may be changing ISPs in the near future.
I included a bounce and current header info.
So is there a way to change the "Received: from" server name to our external name?

Receiving mail hosts on the Internet usually care most about the IP that's connecting to them. One of the most common tests is the reverse DNS (since the SMTP connection comes from 96.43.X.X, the receiving host will ask itself "does 96.43.X.X really
belong to the TUK-UTM.theirdomain.com ? and will go and check for PTR records for 96.43.X.X) It's this check that's failed.
Even if you'll be changing your ISP in the future, you would still have ownership for your DNS domains, right ? It should be your company paying for this service after all.
