Inventory item issue report

Hi All,
Could someone suggest me is there a report which shows the issues against stocks in the inventory which will help us plan Min/Max.Other thing can anyone tell me how to upload budgets in inv and is there any option of putting in both quantity and value.
Thanks in advance,
Vijay

How do you write off them? If it is by goods issue, just create a query report. However, it will not have any automatic identification for which goods issues are for write-off.
Thanks,
Gordon

  • Item Movement Report

I'm creating an inventory item movement report based off the mtl_material_transactions table which will give me all the in's and out's for a specified item and org.
Which other table should I link to so I can get the source document id#'s such as job number if its a wip transaction and sales order number if its a sales order transaction.
    Thanks

    select wip_entity_name wip_job# from wip.wip_entities where wip_entity_id = &transaction_source_id
    select order_number from oe_ordeR_headers_all where header_id = (select header_id from oe_order_lines_all where line_id = &source_line_id)

  • Authorization Issue for Inventory in warehouse report

    `Hi All
I face a issue in giving authorization for a single report to a user in the Inventory reports. The report is Inventory in warehouse report.
Can u please tell what are the preliminary authorizations to be set for the user to execute the report. The thing is he should not be able to see the item cost and Last purchase prices.
    Thanks... Marikannan

    Hi,
I am not sure if the authorization for such report is available. I just suggest you to check if form settings icon is able to access or not. if you can open the form settings, I think you can set authorization to be no authorization to access the form setting for certain users.

  • How to include the UDF of items master data into PLD (Inventory in Warehouse Report (Detailed))

    Hi,
Is there a way to include the UDF in the items master data into the <<Inventory In Warehouse Report (Detailed)>> PLD?
I checked the default layout and found out all the column source type is "free text" and the content is #Item, how do I know the value of the UDF?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Some of the standard reports are hardcoded in sap. Not possible to add UDF field in PLD.

  • Inventory in warehouse report

    Hi all,
Let's say I'm on january 25th and I'd like to run the Inventory in Warehouse Report  as per january 10th. Is there a way to acess the code of the report to run the query for a specific date (not for the current date as I'm getting it) ?
    Any idea would be appreciated.
    Best regards,

    Douglas,
To get the code of this report you will have to use SQL Server Profiler.  Just start the service before trigerring the report and stop it there after and you should get the SQL.
Another better way, would be to create a report by querying the OINM (warehouse journal) table. This table records all warehouse transaction and also has the date.
<Font Color="Blue" Size=3>To understand the OINM table run this query
    </Font>
SELECT T0.TransNum AS 'Transaction Number', T0.DocDate AS 'Posting Date', T0.ItemCode AS 'Item No.', T0.Dscription AS 'Item Description', T0.InQty AS 'Receipt Quantity', T0.OutQty AS 'Issue Quantity', T0.Warehouse AS 'Warehouse Code', T0.Balance AS 'Stock Balance' FROM  [dbo\].[OINM\] T0  WHERE T0.ItemCode = 'A00001' ORDER BY T0.TransNum
<Font Color="Blue" Size=3>To get the stock by date, use the query below
    </Font>
SELECT TOP 1 T0.ItemCode AS 'Item No.', T0.DocDate, T0.Balance AS 'Stock Balance' FROM  [dbo\].[OINM\] T0
    WHERE T0.DocDate = '[%0\]'
    ORDER BY T0.TransNum DESC
Note I have added '[%0\]' parameter for date selection presuming you will use this within SAP.

  • Inventory Material Movement Report in R12.1.1

    Dear All,
I am currently working in a implementation project. My client needs a Inventory Material Movement Report on Periodical Basis
Report Should show : Item Name, Item Desc, Sub Inventory, UOM, Opening Stock of that period, Receipts for that Period, Adjustments and Closing Balance.
Please suggest me how to go about this on the same. Please someone share the code if someone have any. What logic do i need to follow and where to pick the data.
It is show stopper for us now as we do not have any standard report.
    Thanks,
    Addy

    Hi Aditya,
You can find all the information you need in mtl_material_transactions table. If you need code combination id too, you can make use of a standard view CST_INV_DISTRIBUTION_V. Other than these, you can join these tables for other info..
    MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B MTL,GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS GCC.
In MMT, use qty <, > 0 for receipts and issues. use group by to get opening and closing balances.
    Regards,
    Siva Kumar.

  • Need negative quantity non-inventory items on Credit Memo

    Version: (2007A)
Description of requirements: (Please provide a detailed description)
Our customer issues many invoices with a negative quantity line item for a miscellaneous non-inventory item. These non-inventory items are used to reduce the amount of the invoice regarding miscellaneous credits to their customers.  These are not discounts.
When the customer wants to credit these invoices, they canu2019t create a Credit Memo based on the invoice because SAP wonu2019t allow this if there are line items with negative amounts.
When they create a credit memo not based on an invoice, they arenu2019t allowed to enter a negative quantity for a line item as they are for an Invoice. They are forced to create a credit memo not based on an invoice the inventory item line items and an invoice or Journal Entry for the negative quantity line item to debit back the miscellaneous line amount.
    As an example:
Invoice line item one for inventory item: qty one, price 100,line total $100.00
Invoice line item two non-inventory item misc credit: quanity -1, price 10, total -$10.00
    Invoice Total $90.00
In Order to provide the correct credit amount, they have to create a Credit Memo not based on an invoice for line item one, qty one, price 100 u2013 value -100 and an invoice for the non-inventory item for qty one, price 10 -  value 10.00.
This creates a net credit for the customer of 90.00
This looks ridiculous to their customers when they see these transactions on their statements, creates extra work for the users and there is no link between the three documents.
By using inventory items for these miscellaneous credits, they can assign a sales revenue of their choice. They have multiple sales accounts and the GL posting is determined by the item group for the item. By assigning the desired item group to these non-inventory items, they can control which sales account is updated on their marketing documents when using these non-inventory items.
If they were to use the Freight items, they would need a separate freight setup entry for combination of item group and miscellaneous credit. Because they have so many Item Groups and types of credits, they would need a great many separate Freight Charges to choose from.
All of the above pertains to all of our customers. This customer has a custom add-on and their marketing documents are all created from custom objects.  They hit a button on the custom sales contract screen and an invoice is created.  When they hit another button on the screen, the selected invoice is credited. They have legally binding contracts for fixed quantities to be shipped, so we decrease the quantity shipped when creating an invoice and decrease the quantity shipped when a credit memo is created. The contract is fulfilled when the exact quantity contracted for has been shipped. Because the credit memo fails, we canu2019t update the custom objectu2019s remaining to be shipped, rendering it inaccurate from that time forward. (reducing the quantity shipped is part of the Credit Memo creation process).Creating Credit Memos and Invoices from the interface fixes the inventory count, customer balance, etc., but we have no way of fixing the sales contractu2019s quantity shipped & remaining to be shipped or linking the contracts to the documents created from the interface.
Business needs: (Please describe the impact on your business, if the functionality is not realized)
Examples: (Please describe a typical example, how the functionality should work.)
Credit Memos should allow negative quantities and line total amounts for non-inventory items, the same way that A/R Invoices do, so that credit memos can be based on invoices that have negative quantity non-inventory line items.
Current Workaround: (Please describe the workarounds you are using at the moment)
    Please see above
Proposed solution: (Please suggest how the new functionality should work)
Credit Memos should allow negative quantities and line total amounts for non-inventory items, the same way that A/R Invoices do.

    Hi Sean......
System is behaving properly as per its logic. Infact it does same in all the previous or upcoming versions.
If you have Item Type GRPO for Non Inventory Item it does not create any accounting but you can see the same during AP invoice.
GRPO for such type is only optional. For further clarification you can discuss this with your CA what he suggests. But i suggest you to raise AP invoice also for getting Account effect. Just see doing this in test DB you get your answer......

  • Automatic PO creation when neither from Contract or Inventory items.

    Hi All,
I have unique situation where PO were automatically created from Shopping cart upon approval when they did not have a Contract or for inventory items. The only difference noticed was it has preferred vendor assigned during SC. My thoughts is the SC documents should end up in Sourcing when there is no contracts found or not procured for invoentory.
We are in SRM 5.0 Extended Classic and SP 15.
I am not sure what might trigger these Shopping carts to be PO automatically upon approval. Please advise
    Thanks
    Rao

    Hi Muthuraman,
I understand inorder for SC to become PO, it needs to have a fixed Vendor. but my issue is the SC does not have a fixed vendor(no contract) but a preferred vendor was entered. Though preferred vendor is entered and Vendor is not fixed, PO was created after SC approval which should not be the case. My SPRO settings has 'Sourcing carried out for items without assgined source of supply'
    Please advise.
    Regards

    Hi,
Your cumulative quantity and same way cumulative values calculated
    First transaction quantity  = 15        Cumulative quantity = 15
    Second transaction          = 10        Cumulative quantity = 25 (15+10)
    Third transaction              = -1         Cumulative quantity = 24 (25-1)
    Fourth transaction            =   1        Cumulative quantity = 25 (24 +1)
    Fifth transaction            =   -1         Cumulative quantity = 24 (25 -1)
    Last  transaction            =   -1        Cumulative quantity = 23 (24 -1)
The final cumulative quantity is 23. In short, cumulative quantity is calculated from previous values based on transaction its get added or subtracted.
