Invited user doesn't get email

I'm setting up an InContext site for the first time, and in order to test the "Publishers" experience before offering it to the client to test, I invited myself to be a publisher, using a completely different email address. I never got an email invitation. So I tried it again, with a different email address, same thing, I never get an invitation.
Is there a way to "resend" the invitation?
I've checked all our junk mail and it didn't arrive there. Also, is there an address the email will be coming from that I can "white list" ahead of time?

Hello eclancy,
Select the user with the pending invitation in the list, then click "Delete Invitation". Delete Invitation will appear next to the Invite User button after you select the user. Once the invitation has been deleted, you'll want to invite the user again.
Did you try sending the invitation to a different email on a different domain? I just tested sending an invitation to a yahoo account and it went through just fine.
If you are able to receive the invitation on a different account, you can simply forward the invitation to the recipient you want to register.

I have an issue on a live SP2013 farm that is really causing me grief. Although I ( Farm Admin) and my other users can follow items which are subsequently confirmed in our respective News Feeds -
none of my users are are actually getting emails notifications .
Alerts ( did) work fine.
I have written some PS to vew and set the SPS-EmailOptin for each user

For my currrent client I set up a development intranet which had the seperate web apps for the main portal and mysites. Test users were able to follow documents, sites without any problems. Before go live I was asked to accomodate a requirement
where there is only one web application (don't ask!) effectivley http://myintranet
so mysites sits under http://myintranet/mysites . I made the appropriate changes to my AutoSPInstaller scritpt and al appearedd l good : services , Service appplications, mysites are all started. I am using
the two app pool accounts one for the portal and one for mysites.
A quick look at the the releated threads on this forum indicated permssions could be DB permissions related tho I am not seeing anything in ULS to strongly point to this

Invited user did not get an invite, how do I resend the invite?

Under team management I invited multiple users. They all received an invite - except for one person. How do I resend that invite? I have cancelled the invitation and re-invited the person - but they have still not recieved the invite! Help!!!

Are all the Users using the same Email Domain or are you sending Invitation to User's Personal Email Id.
If Same Email Domain then it should have gone in Inbox as the rest got the Invitation
If Personal Email Id's then please ask the user to check their Spam Email Folder.

User does not get email notifications to his outlook

Hi All,
A user has reported that he does not get outlook notifications for corresponding work items in his inbox.
All the settings are in place i.e. correct email address maintained in SU01 as well as in Infotype 0105 subtype 010.
Not really sure why he alone does not get any outlook notifications.
I tried sending a new message manually from SAP Inbox to his external mail id and was successful in this (checked SOST).
What might be wrong? Please suggest.

By "outlook notifications" I assume you mean emails telling the user he has workitems waiting for him to action.
How are you sending these emails, with Extended Notifications?
In SU01, besides specifying the e-mail address, have you also put "E-mail" in the "Comm. Meth" field?
Sending an email directly to his external email address from his SAP inbox doesn't prove much, SAP has to be able to deduce the email address itself.
Is it just happening for one user? Has it worked before?

Create a form in Word where the user doesn't get the security warning

I created a form in Word that needs to be sent to external customers. It has some text boxes, check boxes and combo boxes. We are getting complaints from the users that they either don't see or can't deal with answering the question about enabling

Did you get the security warning in Outlook or Word?
Could you please provide a screenshot about the warning to help us understand the problem?

If this is the case, please try to use the following registry value to disable the security warning:

xx.0 is the version of your Outlook. 12.0 is Outlook 2007; 14.0 is Outlook 2010; 15.0 is Outlook 2013.

Users quota- not sending email windows 2008 server r2

I have setup quotas in File Server Resources Manager, when I test sending emails, it works ok I get email from FSRM, but users doesn't get email when they reach quota even when they are on 100%. When I check Source Template Limit for each user I can
see that system sends email, but users not getting any email.
All users have email set in User Properties in AD.
What can be wrong?
I never left an open problem....I search, dig and ask, until it's solved....

What external mail server do you use? Please try to create a receive connector with basic authentication only & anonymous permission on the mail server.

HT1933 I get emails saying that there is a new show to download, but when I click on download, it doesn't work. How do I fix this?

Long story short. I get emails for my pre-purchased TV shows saying I can download them. I click the button, it downloads into iTunes, and I watch them. Now, this isn't happening. I can purchase and download songs just fine, but when I click on the pre-purchased tv shows, I can't get them to download. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'm on a macbook air using iTunes 11.0.2 .

It seems that this is a MAJOR issue with MANY end users experiencing the exact same problem - iTunes 10.5.2.11 Crossfade is completely buggy. Apple, get it together, seriously...your QA department should all be fired for this.

One thing to keep in mind, at least what has worked for me: After you make a change to the crossfade timing, you must close out of iTunes and re-open before the new settings take place.
Crossfade timing = 12 seconds actually equates to about 50 seconds.
Click the slider, then use your arrow key to tick over about 20 times - this should crossfade your songs approximately 6 seconds before ending.
Apply, then close out and re-open iTunes...
Peruse through the link above, there are different approaches. Maybe one will work for you.

User is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP as it tries to send an email to a user who have left the company

Hi Experts,
I need to remove a name on a group list in Outlook as the user is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP (He sends the invoice for approval and emails get sent to different users for approval.) One of those users has left the company and so the user gets a email delivery failure error.
How do I remove this user who is no longer with the company?
The user is saying: When I approve an invoice in SAP it sends an email notification through outlook. One of those users is no longer with the company so it cannot deliver the notification, and in return send a delivery failure (in outlook). I am approving the invoices from my SAP Workplace inbox.
How do we know what group the email is going to?
Please let me know if you have seen this issue before. Greatly appreciate your help.

Please check whether you are using a custom z program for sending emails of approved invoices to users. If yes then either the user email ids are hardcoded in the program else a ztable is maintained for them.

Sorry, that isn't a Firefox support issue. Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If some users doesn't have their email address in fnd_user table, then will the work notification goto the user? What should i do to make sure that the workflow doesn't throw an error in such a situation and still send a notification to that user?

Hi,
Email is completely optional, so Workflow won't throw an error if there is no email address found.
In order to receive an email, you need the following:
- Workflow user / role to be notified must have an email address set.
- Workflow user / role to be notified must have a preference set to receive email.
- Workflow mailer must be running for that particular item type, or a generic mailer needs to be running.
Without all of those, you won't see any emails - but you won't see any errors, either :)

You need an app that allows group messaging. Enter group messenger in the search bar in the app store.
