Try reversing the Credit memo first before the IR since this credit memo is depended on the IR posted against the GR. Or if this will not allow you, try creating a subsequent credit and then manually clear the document.
Use
When you post a credit memo, the system makes a number of checks:
The maximum quantity you can credit is the quantity that has already been invoiced. If you enter a larger quantity, the system issues the following error message:
Reversal quantity greater than quantity invoiced to date
If you post a credit memo for the same quantity as was invoiced so far, the system expects that the total amount invoiced so far is also credited. Otherwise, a situation might arise where you had no stock for a material but a stock value. If you do not enter the amount invoiced so far, the system automatically replaces your entry and proceeds to the item screen. A warning message informs you that your entry has been changed.
Reverse entry value set automatically for full reversal
If you post a credit memo for a smaller quantity than that invoiced to date, the amount of the credit memo cannot be larger than the amount invoiced so far. If you post a larger amount, the system displays an error message.
The system does not check whether your entries in the columns Amount and Quantity correspond to the purchase order price or invoice price.
Procedure
You post a credit memo as follows.
1. From the Logistics Invoice Verification screen, choose Document entry ® Enter credit memo.
The initial screen appears.
2. Enter the document header data and the allocation criteria.
3. Choose Goto ® Item list.
The item list appears.
The system lists the order items as per your allocation criteria. The items are not selected. In the columns Amount and Quantity, the system suggests the value and quantity invoiced to date for each item.
You can enter a different default logic in the Entry Profile.
4. Select the items contained in the credit memo. Check the quantities and amounts suggested by the system and make any necessary corrections.
5. Choose Continue.
The system then checks your entries and displays any necessary warning or error messages.
6. Choose Invoice document ® Post.
Result
The system posts the credit memo.

    Have you seen this as per the manual =>
    Insufficient PA Info. You must provide values for all of the following Projects
    columns: PROJECT_ID, TASK_ID, EXPENDITURE TYPE,
    EXPENDITURE_ITEM_DATE, AND EXPENDITURE_ORGANIZATION_ID.

    I got a situation which is explained below-
    I did GRN & then reversed it through MBST T.code because of which i am not able to cancel EXCISE INVOICE.
    Related to this problem i saw various threads in which it is mentioned that use J1I5 for updating RG23A part 1 but when i am doing so i am not getting any list in next screen.
    Please suggest how to cancel the excise invoice in this situation.

  • Invoice Template problem - Putting a Header field in repeating Lines rows

    Dear experts,
    I would be grateful for a problem I am having with an Invoice statement I am developing (Oracle Applications 11.5.10 with BI Publisher version 10.1.3.4). This is very similar to the one in Tim Dexter's Blog (Anatomy of a Template):

    My requirement is to add a single line into the lines table, as seen in the Blog, which is a COMMENTS field from the header part of the XML and the problem is that it can be 1 line to maybe 5 lines. This is only on the first page. This causes problems as I don't know how to find out how far down the lines table I may be after adding this COMMENTS header field in here, to then know how many lines to loop over to ensure that the lines do not carry on printing over the bottom of the page e.g. if the COMMENTS is 3 lines - how do I know this to then only print 3 minus the maximum lines per page ($lpp) only on the first page?
    Any pointers would be of great help.

    The COMMENTS field I've found out can be of any varible size and include carriage returns. For example, could be:
    JD Trx special instructions 010908
    FAO: PETER MUSCUTT
    REF: FERRY ROAD 2351
    ========================
    INCOME DUE TO COMPANY FOR
    THE OPERATION OF EFERRY
    ROAD CAR PARK
    This causes such problems as being able to know how many lines this field will be, so that I know where to start the first Lines row in the invoice and also how many lines I can put on this first page (starting point - $lpp).
    One method I thought would be to count how many characters there are in this field, when it reaches the line size on the invoice, increment a count varible that would be used to indicate the starting point for the first lines record. I would need to compare each character and if it is a carriage return, then increment the count also. This seems quite a heavy wieght way to solve this and would welcome any over ideas.

    the cusstomer infomation sceen apears.
    Now go to payment tems tab,click yellow arrow for payment terms.
    in Open incomming Filed select No
    By doing this Payment screen will not apper while adding A/R Invoice.

    The problem may be that there is missing customizing for account assi. category 'U' in SPRO. In order to enter account assignment at MIRO you need to set indicator 'AA changeable at IR' (V_T163K-REUPD).

  • Partial Payment - Invoice Reference Problem

    Dear All Experts,
    Iam working on a Cash flow Report wherein I need to display Cashinflows and Outflows period wise.I have a small problem in Invoice Refrence(REBZG) when partial payments done. My problem is whenever partial payment is made for an invoice, for the last payment invoice reference is not coming, have a look at the following example :
    Invoice No = INV1  Invoice Amount = 50,000.
    Partial Payment 1 : 30,000.
    Partial Payment 2 : 15,000.
    Partial Payment 3 : 5,000.
    Now in BSAK tabel entries are as follows :
    BELNR             GJAHR     WRBTR      REBZG       REBZJ
    1200000          2009         30,000       INV1           2010
    1200001          2010         15,000       INV1           2010
    1200002          2010           5,000      
    Can anyone explain why it is coming like this? any config issue?

  • Invoice Block problem in MIRO

    Hi Friends,
    I am facing a issue. Can some one help to overcome this issue please
    1. We have created PO with item value Rs 100  and  GR is not done yet.
    2. Then we created Invoice for value Rs 20. Invoice got blocked due to Quantity (because GR is not done)
    3. Now,I am creating subsequent debit for the same PO for the remaining value of Rs 80. But this subsequent document is not getting blocked . According to me this subsequent document should also get blocked. Can some one help me why this problem. Is it a standard SAP functionality that subsequent document will not get blocked?

    Subsequent Debits/Credits are used in cases where the quantity is in the original invoice is to remain the same. For eg.
    PO  10 - $10
    Gr   10 - $10
    LIV 10 - $11 (Logistics Invoice Verification)
    The vendor invoice is more than that in the Purchase Order. In order to correct, the Vendor may send in another invoice for
    the Increased amount or a credit memo for the increased amount.
    If you approve of the price increase, post the subsequent invoice received as a Subsequent Debit/Credit Invoice.
    If it is a credit memo that has been received, then post the credit memo as Subsequent Debit/Credit.
    This would retain the quantity but reduce the amount.
    Subsequent Debit/Credit is for the case when the credit is not for the full amount eg. if the Vendor decided to credit
    only the $1 overcharged.
    Credit memo is for the credit of the full amount and value.

    During recording in PO reference tab i am using Bill of Lading and inserting data through More Allocation Criteria tab and in column cell entering 8 Reference at one time for more i am scrolling it and entering 8 more and adopting it.
    In recording after adopting it is showing all adopted documents but on saved recording it is adopting latest 8 reference.
    I coding for "P++" for scrolling but it is not working.
    Please help me out.
    Is it possible to code for scrolling of PO reference Bill of Lading pop of window.?

    No, not at all. We see that so many times in the forum that we are mistaken.
    There are 3 places where we find P++, P--, etc. :
    - the function codes assigned to the scrolling buttons in the standard toolbar for ABAP lists.
    - If I remember well, they are also assigned to the buttons inside the screen for the table control wizard.
    - SCROLLING_IN_TABLE
    But usually, we don't create buttons inside screens for scrolling.
    Table control scrolling via page down and page up keys, is made of 2 things : changing CXTAB_CONTROL-TOP_LINE + trigger enter key.

  • Invoice layout problem

    My AR Invoice layout is set to A4 size which is showing as 841 height, 595 Wide ( I am not sure what these mean?) However my problem is that after printing 16 lines (transactions), the report goes to page 2 and leaves a 4 cm gap between the repetitive area and the Footer section. I have tried changing parameters as follows but nothing seems to change the fact that I cannot print more then 16 lines per page:
    1. I have changed the Duplicate repetitive are/Lines per repetitive are to  25, or 30 - it did not make a difference.
    2. I have ticked the Area Hight Box, or unticked - no difference
    3. I have increased or decreased the repetitive area footer size - No difference
    4. I have decreased the Page Footer Height - No difference
    Any ideas what determines the number of Transaction lines in the Repetitive area and how to increase this?

    Page Footer was 50, but reduced it to 10 - this made no difference.
    End of report - was 10, now increased it to 100 - this made no difference.
    The number of lines per page seems to be fixed on 16 lines.
    I have looked up my order layout which is similar to my invoice layout but it does not have the same issue?

    Hi Varun,
    Your issue is no way related to the output types. The problem can be solved by adjusting the logic inside your commercial Invoice smartform.
    To make two invoices to be printed on one page, handle the events where your invoice contents are looped(do inside your main window). Use command prompt, to trigger page break after every two invoices.
    I guess, the above information will help you to close the thread.

  • Prforma Invoice creation problem

    We have intercompany sales flow. The flow is like, sales order will be created and for that a delivery will be created and an intercompany invoice will be created at first and after that a proforma invoice will be created with reference to the existing delivery.When we are creating the proforma invoice manually, we are able to create the proforma invoice without any problem. But when we are trying to create an proforma invoice through background job, we are facing the problem. When we checked in the billing due list also we are not able to find the pending documents for billing.
    When we checked the delivery,we were able to see the status as not relevant for billing. But in the itemcategory definition, it is maintained as relevant for proforma invoice.
    Can anyone help in finding out the reason why we are not able to create and invoice through back ground job.

    Please see the following information in note 301254 (Creation of billing index):
    1.  Relevance for billing (table TVAP):
    Depending on the specification of field FKREL in table TVAP (Customizing
    item category, Transaction VOV7), the system creates a billing index for
    order-, delivery- or billing-reference. Without an entry, no
    billing-reference exists.
    If the billing-reference is 'D' (relevant for pro-forma), the system
    does not set up a billing index. In this case, you can only use
    Transaction VF01, however not VF04/VF06 to create pro-forma invoices.
    You can create as many pro forma invoices as you like for a sales
    order or a delivery because the billing status in the sales order or
    delivery is not updated.
    Note that items with relevancy for billing 'D' also occur in intercompany billing. If an item category is relevant for billing, that is TVAP-FKREL is not blank, and the plant belongs to a company different than selling company (linked to sales organization), then the item is automatically considered relevant for intercompany billing (VBUP-FKIVP = A). There is not a separate setting for item intercompany billing relevance.

    I tried doing setting with VKOA and checked with
    VF02, Environment-Account determination analysis.
    --> it says account determination is found.
    Then i clicked the Flag button(Release to accounting) in VF02.
    It gives below error in status bar
