IP to IP / UCCX calls fail

I`m doing a IP to IP call via CUBE,
the  ip to ip calls are working properly, but when I place a IP to IP UCCX  call, I press 1 to route to the agent and the call is dropped getting  the following error on the CUCM traces:
01:21:24.477 |StationCdpc - ERROR  active10: hold rejection|5,200,16,1.498662^10.21.18.7^ELDOR_4711
01:21:43.512  |Transferring - handleTransferErrorPreStart, ERROR fid=[140], Retaining  Calls, xferring[5, 98279219], xferred[5, 98279217]. infoCause=63,  clearCause=0|5,200,16,1.498667^10.21.18.7^ELDOR_4711

And after this the h.323 leg, drop the call.
10.21.18.7 = UCCX
Working call flow:
SPO PHONE -> SPO CUCM -> SPO H.323 GW -> VPN SITE TO SITE -> NEXA H.323 GW -> NEXA CUCM ->  NEXA PHONE
Non working call flow:
SPO SITE -> SPO H.323 GW -> VPN SITE TO SITE -> NEXA H.323 GW -> CUCM -> UCCX -> AGENT
I really appreciate any help provided.

Hi Jefferson,
I would start by looking at the CCX engine log to see why the transfer is failing. I assume that CTI port's CSS has the partition of the agent phone? The MIVR log should tell us why it is failing.
-thanks

    Hello,
We have a customer who as configured callback script and configured a trigger (2500). We use a templale using which we pass the trigger number and the end customer phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx) to UCCX and CM should place a call to both the numbers. But for some reasons we below exception in the application(eGian) logs.

    Thanks Gergely, for responding.
We have over written our logs, so I can't provide the logs for the last time that we had this occur (09/29/2014). TAC transferred the logs via the WebEx and they are not attached to the case.
I did forget to mention that every time that we have this happen, we are getting a Code Yellow on the CUCM that is the main call processor for the UCCX.
TAC has indicated that the CUCM is unable to write all of the logs, cdrs, etc under the high call volume. I am following up behind another Cisco partner and I do not believe that the UCS were sized correctly for my customers call volume. They are running Cisco UCS C220-M3 LFF with the 7.2 SATA drives. We have virtually disabled all logging on the CUCM as to lower the impact of all of the holds, transfers, etc.
The previous partner had written a lot of custom JAVA for doing the database and backend API integration. This took a very long tome to execute on each of the calls, 20 -30 seconds or longer per call. I have rewritten scripts to do all of the integrations, via subflows and reduced this time to 5 - 10 seconds.
In the mean time, I have removed all instances of placing calls on hold, by playing prompts instead of placing them on hold, where I can. I have also combined scripts as to reduce transferring from script to another script. So I have lessened holds and transfer by about 60%. We have been unable to tell if this working or not, as we have to wait for the next large power outage.
The one place that I am unable to remove placing the caller on hold is when, we do the database dips or call the backend API(HTTP), any suggestions?
Any help, pointers, information would be greatly appreciated as the customer is getting very frustrated.
I was under the impression that when the CTI port placed the caller on hold, that it was still reserved for that contact to return from being on hold or transferring?
    Thanks
    Danny

  • UCCX Backup failed

    Hi everyone,
I have a UCCX backup failed issue with one of our clients.
It's a UCCX 5.0(1)-SR02ES08-Build083. When i tried backup, the bar stopped at 5% and the error message is like this:
Unable to contact Call Manager. Please make sure that the Call Manager is running and connected to the network com.cisco.archive.impl.component.cluster.ClusterArchiveComponent; nested exception is: com.cisco.archive.ArchiveException: Fail to acquire bootstrap mutex; nested exception is: com.cisco.app.ApplicationException: can not acquire ClusterMutex; nested exception is: com.cisco.config.ConfigException: Get config record - error: catch cisco.config.ConfigException UnmarshalException; nested exception is: javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: Premature end of file. - with linked exception: [org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.], refer to the MCVD logfiles for more details
Can anyone give me some idea?
    Thanks
    James

    Hi James,
If backup is still failing after following Hoai's advice; please check to see if a lock has caused an issue with a previous backup. You can open appadmin and go to Tools > Backup and Restore > Status. If the backup has not run for sometime you most likely have a lock. You can do the following
    1. Go to 'C:\program files\wfavvid\ClusterData\Default\' folder on CRS server;
    2. Rename 'com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.LockConfig' folder to 'com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.LockConfig.bak';
    3. Restart nodemanager
    Then try a backup.

    Joe

  • Call failed - reason required

In the attached log file, a call comes in, which shows up reports as "Aborted". I would like to know what was the reason this call failed.
    Call flow:
    PSTN --- PRI -- Voice Gateway (2900 series) -- SIP -- CUCM9 ---- UCCX9
On UCCX, it should go to a script which determines that it's within business hours, and redirects the call to the hunt pilot with phone number +33173150110
    Details:
    Called nr: +33173150194
    Calling nr: +33628329975
Timestamp: Date: Mon, 16 Jun 2014 07:03:33 GMT
    It starts on line 4136.
I can see that the call gets reINVITED a couple of times, and it seems to me that after the last INVITE, there's no media path, so I understand why the voice gateway would send a BYE. However, I don't understand why there's no media path.
    Thanks

    Hi Tom,
From the logs I  can see that the call goes to UCCX using the CTI port and gets transferred back to a Hunt List, with DN 33173150110 for the pilot.
    The Hunt List gets exhausted.

cannot open pictures in Window 8.1...getting message 'the remote procedure call failed".  What is the solution?
I recently bought a new HP computuer and uploaded Window 8.1.  I then transfered photo files from old computer to new computer using a portable storage drive.
When trying to view the photos, a message pops up showing a file path...and the message 'the remote procedure call failed'.  Photos are in jpeg format.
Please let me know what I can do to view photos?

What program you use to view these photos? Choose another app to view these photos
     for a test.
This issue only occurred when you view photo? What is the result if we connect the
portable storage drive to other computer (if possible)?
Run sfc/scannow to check and fix if there are some missing or corrupted system files.

  • IPhone 4S Siri Will No Longer Voice Dial Contacts - Always Call Failed

I am not exactly sure when this started (5.0.1?), but when I ask Siri to dial someone in my contacts, Siri recognizes the request, proceeds to Dial the number and no matter which contact I try, I get an immediate "CALL FAILED" and then the iPhone immediately locks. I have restored the iPhone as new, Reset Network Settings, etc. to no avail. If I turn Siri off from Settings, the phone will revert to the previous Voice Control that was present in previous iPhones and Voice Calls are successful. Only when trying to use Siri do all voice initiated calls fail. And it is 100% consistent in the failure. This does not appear to be a Siri network issue, as all Siri other Siri requests work and are speedy. Co-workers with the 4S are also experiencing the same issue, so it does not appear to be specific to just my iPhone. Can anyone else confirm? Thanks.

OK, so i have tracked it down to a single AT&T Cell Tower location in my instance, but it also just so happens to be at my office, which means I am affected by it all day. What is happening is that at this particular location, the AT&T tower is misconfigured or experiencing some type of technical issue, resulting in the inability of the cell tower to handle simultaneous voice and data. Siri uses data to match the contacts, names etc and hands off to the Phone dialer, which immediately experiences a call failure as a result of the 3G Data still being in use by Siri. You can verify simultaneous voice and data connectivity by placing a voice call and then attempting to use 3G data (you must not be using WiFi to determine if this is a problem with the Cell network). While in a voice call, launch the Speedtest.net Mobile Speed Test app. You will clearly see that 3G data services have all but ceased if this is your problem. End the Voice Call and run the Speedtest.net Mobile Speed Test again and 3G data will work fine.
I have reported the problem via AT&T's Mark the Spot App numerous times and had my colleagues do the same and called AT&T Wireless customer service to no avail. They simply refuse to acknowledge the issue is on their end. I personally know at least 5 other iPhone 4S users in my office who are experiencing the same issue and the results can be consistently recreated on all of their devices. And again, once they leave the office in the afternoon, all of their services return to normal and they can again make and place Voice initiated phone calls without the dreaded Call Failed. Thanks AT&T.

  • Dropped calls and "Call failed" on edge

My experience has been the opposite from others on the forum with the new 2.0.2 software. I can get 3G in town and I can place and receive calls just fine. At home, I only have an edge connection with usually 2-3 bars. 9 out of 10 calls I try to make from home fail. I get the three beeps and "Call failed" message on the screen. Usually it is a split second after I hit the call button. It's not even trying to make the call. I have restored it, restarted, etc. and it still happens! I cannot make a phone call at all. This is my business phone, and it is affecting my response to clients. Anyone have any suggestions? I will probably go to the genius bar tomorrow, but if I don't have to go through the hassle, I won't.

    tigerarch,
Does this happen in all locations, or just your home?
What does the AT&T coverage map show for your home?
I live in a moderate area, and AT&T's disclaimer on the coverage map says that Good and Moderate may not have in building coverage. Not only does my iPhone sometimes not pick up a signal or complete calls, the same applies to other AT&T phones there.
My home is also made of stucco, which along with brick and cement block, is one of the worst materials for blocking signals.
If this only happens in one location, I would recommend contact AT&T and see if they will open a ticket. The probably won't open a ticket if your coverage is listed as "Moderate"
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Thanks this was very useful.. I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am having the same problem constant network fluctuations, no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/ba

I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am experiencing constant network fluctuations on my iphone , no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/bars searching etc... Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet..  I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement.. Truly sad state of affairs.. very very very dissappointing.

Have a look at this it might help

  • Call failed constantly after upgrade to OS 4.2

Has anyone else suffering the same problem? My iPhone 4 just keeps failing to make a call after upgrading to OS 4.2. The strange thing is that it seems this just happens within vodafone's 2G network. If I turn 3G on, there is no problem with call failed. However, I normally turn 3G off for getting longer battery life. Is it a problem with the phone? or it is the network problem? Has anyone got the idea?

I am having similar problems connecting calls and having calls drop since upgrading to 4.2.1. Been on to Vodafone to sort but they don't seem to be having issues. From searching online, seems to be an issue after the last upgrade. Not sure what to do next. Happens on 2G and 3G for me

  • Web services Connection_Operations.Logon call fails on Data Services 4.0

    Hello,
We recently installed Data Services 4.0.  We have a custom Java app which makes use of the web services interface.  We had previously used Axis to generate the java class.  With DS 4, it looks like the Logon method did change as it now requires the cms system and authentication.  We manually updated the java classes to includes these, which has been our general approach in the past for newer releases.  However DS 4 uses Axis2 and I'm not sure that this approach would work.
My problem is that the "Logon" call fails with very little details.
In viewing  both the webadmin.log  and WebService.log it only reports the following:
    11/02/2011 18:42:17 [  SEVERE ] Logon failed.  Error: null
I understand that I can control the logging detail .  The Integrator Guide for DS 4.0, has the following instruction, yet there is no log4j.properties file on my system?
"To control the level of detail in the webadmin.log file, you must edit the log4j.properties file.
The properties file is located in:
    LINK_DIR\ext\webserver\webapps\acta_web_admin\WEB-INF
To obtain a debug trace of events, change the log level from the default of INFO to DEBUG. For example,
    log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, A"
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

    Hello,
Unfortunately, stdout.log below doesn't show anything possibly due to some mis-configuaration of log4j.properties.  In my previous post I requested info on which log4j.properties should be modified as the documentation in the DS 4.0 Integrator's guide mentions a none-existent path?
