IPCC Enterprise / CAD / CallBack issue

Hi All,
I have IPCC Enterprise solution where I have a setup for two agent per phone, using Cisco 7960. Actually I using 4 buttons, 2 for each agents where the first button is his personal extension and the second is for agent funcionality. Each Agent is login correctly in reference each shift time and receiving calls without issue thru CAD, but when the agents try to do a call back with the CAD it does not work. Does not know the CAD what extension assign the call?
I attach an image that how are the agents are distributed at the 7960 phone.
Please your suggest or comments
Thanks
Andres Cerda

There is no reason why this should not work. For example, at my current contact center project the agents have two lines, a CC line and a personal line. When they log in with CAD they specify the CC line. The device target and the label is only on this line - naturally.
As an aside, you should set the registry of the PG to disallow logins on JTAPI associated devices where the device target is not configured.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems, Inc.\ICM\customer\PG2A\PG\CurrentVersion\PIMS\pim1\EAGENTData\Config\RejectLoginWithoutDeviceTarget
Set to 1. This will prevent agents from accidentally logging in with their private line.
CAD will have no trouble using the extension the agent logged in with. Are you sure they are logging in with their CC line?
If you are having trouble placing a call, it could be your CUCM config for these lines. Check the Calling Search Space.

  • IPCC Enterprise CAD Database Replication

    Hi all,
We have deployed IPCC Ent. with CAD.
We have recently noticed that there is a gap between the size of CAD Side-A FCRasSvr DB (170 MB) and the size of CAD Side-B FCRasSvr DB (5 MB).
FCRasSvr is the Real-time statistics DB.
We have also noticed that in CAD Side-A there is a publication but in CAD Side-B there is no subscription.
Does this mean that replication is not happening? How can we check this?
    Thanks.

    TAC gave these steps
    We also face this issue:
    - SQL Backup to the CAD database Publisher
2 - Disabling the replication between 2 servers
3 - Insulation  the 2 databases of the 2 sides
    4 - Reactivation of replication
after this we faced the issue of database size mismatch which was solved this way
This is a problem of SQL that generates the disappearance of the job SQL 'REPL-Merge'.
According to TAC, a first solution is to run the following action plan:
1 - Disable the replication of databases using the CAD tool and postInstall by logging in as local Administrator on the PG
2 - Enable the replication database using the CAD tool and postInstall by logging in as the local Administarteur PG
3 - Check that the SQL job REPL-Merge
4 - Check that the account used by the job REPL SQL-Merge is CADSQLAdminUser otherwise modify the job to use this account
5 - Make a daily check (for 5 days) to verify that the SQL job still exists REPL-Merge

  • CAD replication question- IPCC enterprise

IPCC enterprise, 2 cad servers version 7.2.  One CAD server was down for more than four days causing replication between the primary and secondary CAD's to stop.  Ran postinstall.exe to restore the LDAP replication and same for recording and statistics , both showed successful but only LDAP seems to have taken.  when looking at the SQL database in CAD (using enterprise manager), the publication/subscription shows as deactivated for cra_agent_pub publication.
question:  Can someone look at there server and let me know if the subscription is supposed to show as deactivated?  (using enterprise manager, it is the listed as the publication on the primary CAD server)  if not, does anyone know if it is as easy as reinitializing the subscription?
    thanks

Possibly you have two separate issues, but let's address the replication issue first.
    1. Make sure that both RASS databases are well under the 2GB limit imposed by MS SQL Desktop Engine. Hit the 2GB limit and the DB will be deactivated. Go too far and it can even appear as "Unknown".
    2. Login as the local administrator and remove replication using PostInstall
    3. Use Enterprise Manager to ensure that all aspects of replication have been removed. All aspects!
    4. Again, using PostInstall apply replication again
    5. Check with Enterprise Manager that replication has been applied - all those red Xs should be gone - obviously .

  • IPCC Parent Child Autoconfiguration Issue

    IPCC Parent-Child Autoconfig Failure
We have a IPCC Parent Child implementation. It is working since last year.
It consist of one ICM Parent (7.2.7) and 13 child System IPCC (7.2.7)
We are trying to integrate another Child to the Parent. This new Child is a IPCC Enterprise 8.0(2)
The Child is configured with a System IPCC PG, in accordance with the document:
Cisco Contact Center Gateway Deployment Guide for Cisco Unified ICME/CCE/SCCE/CCX. Enterprise Release 8.0(1)
and Express Release 8.0(1) it is configured and we tested it and is working, it is ready to be integrated to the Parent.
For integration with this new Child we added in the Parent 2 new servers and the Enterprise PG is configured.
The pim for the Enterprise PG Gateway is Active.
On the Parent AW we can see that the Services are being replicated (CallTypes from the new Child)
Also we can see peripheral Monitors replicated on the PG Explorer (this is the device targets from the new Child)
The problem is that Skill Groups and Agents from the new Child are not being replicated to the Parent.
We double checked configurations. Reconfigured the whole Child IPCC but just CallTypes and Device targets are
being replicated, not the SkillGroups and Agents.
Someone has dealed with an issue like this???

    Hi,
Can you check AutoConfig log file on Enterprise GW for this new child.
It will show you why these skills and agents are not getting replicated to parent.
    Cheers,
    Vinod K

  • IPCC Enterprise / Two Call Manager Clusters

Let's say I have an IPCC Enterprise set up using  a call manager cluster, a progger server (has peripheral gateway, router, and logger), an HDS server, an IP-IVR, and a CAD server. Its up and running. Now let's say I have another call manager cluster and I'd like to have users on that cluster become call center agents connected to ICM in the IPCC Enterprise environment. Is this even possible? Can it done by the use of another peripheral gateway server used to connect the 2nd call manager cluster to the rogger and IP-IVR? Any feedback appreciated.

Now let's say I have another call manager cluster and I'd like to have users on that cluster become call center agents connected to ICM in the IPCC Enterprise environment. Is this even possible?
Of course it is possible. That's what it was designed to do.
There are some big ICMs out there with many peripheral gateways. The big ones have many TDM switches, but some have multiple Call Managers too. I don't personally know of any with more than mid-30s peripheral gateways, but I have heard that there are much bigger ones than that (I am thinking of the IRS).
Can it done by the use of another peripheral gateway server used to connect the 2nd call manager cluster to the rogger and IP-IVR? Any feedback appreciated.
    Yes.
One thing I'd like to check with you ... you say "a progger server" and you say "an HDS, an IP-IVR" etc.
Are there really just one of each of these? Normally there is a fault tolerant pair of proggers, two HDS for redundancy, two IP-IVR etc for redundancy. To extend the Enterprise system to another CUCM cluster one would add a PAIR of PGs.

  • IPCC Enterprise and PeopleSoft CRM

Could somebody give me a hint how I can intergrate them - what I have to install and confugure in order both applications to talk each other.
We would like on incoming calls on agent desktops to show information about client and this information have to be retrieved from PeopleSoft CRM.
Do you have some check list or document how we could make integration between IPCC Enterprise and PeopleSoft CRM

  • IPCC Enterprise Script Storage

    Hello,
We have a Cisco IPCC Enterprise 7.5.7 and because of a replication problem we experiencing inbound script versioning.
Now, we have in our system an old version and we want to restore it.
Can anyone tell me where Enterprise scripts are stored and how I recover a particular version witch not appear in Script Editor?
    Thank you,
    Dan

Can anyone tell me where Enterprise scripts are stored and how I recover a particular version witch not appear in Script Editor?
Scripts are part of the configuration, like agents, call types etc. They are stored in the configuration tables on the logger - like Master_Script, Script, Script_Cross_Reference and Script_Data. They are replicated to the AWDB in the normal way configuration data is replicated.
As the responder said, if you cannot see the version you want in Script Explorer and it has been flushed (permanently deleted), then you are out of luck.
If you had exported the script as a .ICMS file and saved it somewhere - then you could reimport, and save as the latest version, assuming you can resolve the references. This is a bit of a long shot though - many customers don't do this.
If your system has been set up to delete scripts automatically and save (say) only the last 5 versions (in System Information), then I would change that. Some integrators configure this - I prefer to save all scripts and clean up irrelevant scripts manually. Then nothing worthwhile is lost. Of course, this is closing the stable door after the nag has well and truly bolted - but still worthwhile.

  • BPEL Callback issue in Asynchronous service

    Hi,
I’m sporadically getting Callback service issue with Asynchronous BPEL service. (SOA version is 11.1.14)
    Appreciate inputs to resolve it.
The service is working as expected in most cases and is able to make a callback to the parent service, but random few instances give error – “Unable to access endpoint”
    <remoteFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension">
    <part name="summary">
    <summary>
oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException: Unable to access the following endpoint(s): https://xxxxx.com:14002/soa-infra/services/default/POServices!1.0*soa_2c3cea4d-8791-453c-aed1-0569a86fa268/WorkFlowSvc%23POProcess/WorkFlowSvc
    </summary>
The endpoint URI opens up in browser, so endpoint exists; and as mentioned above, many instances have completed successfully too.
The service continues to be in running state and hence the parent process also remains in running state, unlike in success case when both get completed..
Now, one observation is that the binding port and endpoint location given in code is http uri; not https
So not sure why the deployed service is pointing to https uri for callback to parent service.
In success cases, I’m not able to see the endpoint uri for callback, only the message is seen.
So I’m not able to confirm if it uses the same https uri when it completes successfully..
    -     Could the issue be related to https access/ owsm policy?
    -     How to check the endpoint point uri for async/ callback service in success case? The SOA logs don’t indicate it either, except in error cases (log level is development/ Trace32 fine)

    Hi,
FabricInvocationException exception mostly occurs when process is trying to connect WS/Partnerlink service which is not accesible.
    I fixed this issue,
    1. After setting external WS certificate(Keystore) information in my weblogic server.
    2. I have made my weblogic url as public, after which wsdl url is accessible to my destination service.
Hope this would help in fixing your issue.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise login performance issue RODC site

    Hi,
We are deploying windows 7 enterprise to all our computers in our domain and we didn't have any performance issue on any site with Full DC. Now we are facing a problem with our multiple sites with RODC but only with new deployed windows 7 (WinXp is not having
this slow login problem). The problem is very strange. Whatever a user start a session on a desktop or laptop with Windows 7, wireless or cabled, when the user enter his credential and press the "validation arrow" next to the password nothing happen
(well it look like nothing happen). After 5 to 10 minutes at this logon screen, we finally see the logon process start applying domain policy, preparing the desktop etc etc and this take less then 10 seconds but remember, we just wait 5 to 10 minutes until
the computer process the "process my log in" botton. Sometime, the CTRL+ALT+DEL screen come back and when we press them we got nothing, we have to wait for the "logon" to occur before doing anything else with the computer.
I've looked to many way to solve this but for now nothing worked.

    Hi,
Sorry for my dilatory reply. How about using a same user account  to log on XP computer? Will it logon fast?
Have you tried to add a user account into Allowed RODC Password Replication Group for test? This problem probably caused by the password authentication problem In RODC host.
For further investigation, you can try to use Network Manitor at RODC host to capture package of client machine authenticate to a domain controller.
The blog about Understanding "Read Only Domain Controller" authentication
    may be helpful.
After the above steps, We can narrow the cause of this problem.
If problem persists, this problem may caused by Windows 7 Client performance. Generally speaking, the problem like this most probably caused by sercurity application problem. You can try to disable or uninstall security application temportaily for test.
If there is any progress, please feel free let us know.

  • Human task callbacks issue

I ran into some problem using callbacks in human task. For example: onTaskupdated, I invoke a WS call, the human task just ignore that as if there is no callback; however, when I shift the invoke to another branch such as onsubtaskupdate, the callback is ignored on subtaskupdate but ontaskupdate works normally. -.-!

I have tried with MLR Patch # 8372150, but no luck. I have found a similar thread on this forum who has the same issue.
quartz based workflow times are not initializing
If this might be the problem, how do we fix the following error message.

  • IPCC Enterprise: Outbound calls priority over inbound calls

How can I get outbound calls presented to the agents in SG-A even though there are calls queued to SG-A ?
My customer wish to service callbacks before queued calls.
To me it looks like the dialer doesn't issue the reservation call quick enough to get the agent reserved before the queueing mechanism is grabbing him.
    Thanks
    /Claus

The reason inbound calls take priority is because they are queued.
With personal callbacks, we try to reserve the agent even if it is currently busy so we have an opportunity to queue them.
With preview and predictive, we check the skill group once every 2 seconds and only attempt to reserve agents to see if there are available agents. So we won't attempt to reserve an agent if agents are busy with inbound calls. So if you have inbound calls queued up for a skill group that share the same agent pool as the outbound skill group, then those agents will likely be kept too busy with inbound calls. The Dialer won't try to make a reservation request if no agents are available and so there won't be an opportunity to add the calls to queue.
With Transfer to IVR campaigns, you can queue and route customer calls to agents. This would give you more flexibility, but there are some pros and cons.
    PROS
You can make smart decisions in the routing script whether it is marked as Answering Machine or Live Voice.
You don't tie up an agent in reservation call waiting to find a customer.
You can prioritize the dialer calls over inbound calls in the scripting.
    CONS
Customers will likely spend some time in queue, and may drop out.
The scripting to throttle calls is a little trickier.
The campaign reports and Dialer Detail records no longer tell you whether the call was handled by an agent or not. They stop tracking once the call is sent to the IVR. You only have the inbound call Termination Call Detail records and the inbound skill group and call type to track what happened ot the transfer to IVR calls.

  • Callback Issue No audio alert

    Hello all,
I'm facing a strange issue with the call back feature with a CUCM version 6.1.5.12900-7.
When someone try to activate the call back feature, everything is working exept the audio alert.
So when the line which is concerned by the callback becomes available, you can see the visual notification on the screen of the phone but no audio notification and no redlight on the handset. I already have restarted the cisco extended fonctions service but no new.
Could someone help me please ?
    Thx
    Marc

hoot', do you have Bluetooth on and connected to a BT device?  I found that when I do my iPhone 4s only vibrates with Notifications, including Texts, and the audio goes through the BT device (in my case a headset).
If not, I don't know what else it would be.

  • Enterprise Wi-Fi Issues with Yosemite

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) - But also tested on other older models running Yosemite.
Yosemite version 10.10.2 (This has been an issue with all versions of Yosemite)
The company that I work for has a wireless profile that was built that will authenticate (on login) with our AD login credentials. It works great upon login.  But with any device that has been updated to Yosemite, if the device is put to sleep or if you leave the wifi connection for one reason or another, it will not allow us to reconnect.  Even if we enter our AD credentials when prompted. It simply will not reconnect to the Enterprise Wi-Fi.  The "quick" solution is to log out of the OS and log back in.
    Is this a common issue?

  • IOS 5 WPA2 Enterprise WiFi Connectivity Issue

In IOS 4 i was able to connect easy to my company Enterprise network using WPA2 Enterprise (With Domain username and password). While initail Wifi setup in IOS 4 it used to ask me for accepting a certificate. After upgrading i noticed that it does not ask for certificate anymore but still connects on first attempt. After turining wifi off and on Wifi does not connects automatically instead if i check that network it ask me to enter password and join (my company network does not use preshared key instead use Domain credentials).
After googling i found out that from iOS 5 onward MD-5 signed certificates are no more supported. My network administrator is not interested in changing the signing method of certificate.
Can any one please help me for fixing this issue?

    Hi Attiq 123,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are experiencing issues with your network connection, specifically when connecting to Apple services like iCloud and the iTunes Store. The following resource provides some troubleshooting steps that you can try:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201400
You may also need to test to see if the specific ports on your Wi-Fi network are accessible:
iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/TS3297
Make sure the issue is with the iTunes Store only. (You need an Internet connection to access the iTunes Store).
Open a secure website to test if you are online as is necessary for the iTunes Store. This also tests if the main ports 80 and 443 are accessible. If the website works but the iTunes Store does not, it is most likely a firewall blocking the iTunes software or servers. If this is the case, follow the steps in the "Blocked by software firewall" section below.
