Iphone 4s - Cannot Replace.

my phone has a problem i dont know why its started on Dec. 31, 2013 - 11:45 PM before new year nice timing, i check the warranty on the apple site and its still.
heres the story
1.) I bought the phone brand new sealed in a buy and sell site here in the philippines called www.sulit.com.
2.) When i bought it they give the sealed iphone 4s, that time i dont know the apple need the receipt when you go to repair center for repair or replacement
3.) The seller is a guy the phone is from his father and the father recieve it from the smart communication give away where the father work.
4.) When the problem occur i go to smart communication because they are the service provider for this phone and they say they cannot replace it they need the official receipt, i said to them that i dont have and i have no more contact to them.
5.) I chat some of the tech support of apple the name is jenn, jocelyn and the senior advisor is nicole, i told to them that if we can use alternate solution to the problem like the box i have the box of the phone, but the senior advisor said im sorry sir.....im feel sad and mad.
6.) And i recieved new Feb. 18, 2014 - last tuesday that the power mac center here in the philippines is Power Mac Center, an Apple Authorized Service Provider in the Philippines, has unveiled the iPhone Same Unit Repair (SUR) program that enables iPhone repairs to be done in the Philippines by its mobile device engineers. I call the center and ask that if they can replaced the wifi they said we cant sir the wifi is built-in together with the mainboard only 3 parts can replaced i forgot those three.
THis is lesson to me but i rather choose another brand im kinda dissappoint that they can accomodate my phone for replacement

Hi abyss123,
I completely understand your frustration however every manufacturer needs to know when a product was purchased in order to enforce their warranty. Most companies require you to provide the proof of purchase or on bigger (mostly home electronics) send off a warranty card when you buy it so they know when it was purchased.
I understand you bought a sealed iPhone 4S but Apple started making these devices in October 2011 so the device could have been purchased any time since then. Yes, there are ways they can see when the device was manufacturered etc but that not an indication of sale date. For example, if a device was built in October 2011 and sat on a shelf in a shop for 18 months before being bought. Their manufacturing date may suggest it was potentially bought a lot sooner than it actually was and the receipt would prove it was still under warranty.
Hopefully this makes sense. Is there no way you can get the receipt from the retailer or download a copy from your e-mail or something?
-Dib.
