Is receipt enough to lodge a complaint??

I have problem with my earphones (crackling) and another problem is that I've got only receipt from Argos. Is it enough to lodge a complaint?

No your Nano doesn't have to be purchased online in order to qualify. If you have not done so already, register your Nano with Apple (this can be done through iTunes). If your Nano is still under the 1 year limited warranty then you should be able to request service/replacement for your headphones.

    How can I lodge a complaint about Adobe Flash Player? When I updated Adobe Flash Player this morning it also installed a McAfee scanning software without any warning or notification. I find this totally unacceptable. But I cannot find any information on the Adobe website that will allow me to lodge my complaint. Which I also find totally unacceptable.

    This is a an old complaint. I would have thoughtas much bad karma as Adobe has received would have stopped this practice espcially since it found that many time McAfeee either gets protection signatures wrong or cause more problems than it fixes.
    I don't know whether mailto:[email protected] is still effective.
    At one time a disgruntled Adobe products user created a FaceBook or twitter page. And many in past have claimed when there complaints got ignored or laughed at by Adobe. They suddenly got action whe airring their complaint on this FaceBook or Twitter page.
    There should be a big warning Box stating:
    Adobe is about to install a package Called McAfee  on your computer. If you do not wish to instal click checkmark here.
    Do you wish have Adobe install Products not requested on your computer yes__  or no__ please use a √
    And to adhere to wishes of the customer.

    I have to say that I am very dissapointed in Apple right now. My Ipad 2 stopped workign recently and since i paid for apple care, I sent it in to get repaired. When they recieved it I got an email stating that it could not be fixed. When I called they told me it had corrosion and it wasnt covered. The apple care plus would cover but it costs a wopping 10 dollars more than what i paid. I just find this to be incredibly ridiculus. I take great care of my IPAD 2 and don't understand. Is this even the reason my ipad won't turn on or did they open see a little corrosion close it up and say no fix here. I want to know how to lodge a complaint because i want it serviced. What is 10 dollars when the other care plan wasn't even offered. please how do i lodge an official complaint!!!

    Hi
    I had the worst experience of the lifetime with Apple store in Castle Hill Tower Sydney on 23/4/15. The Manager on duty (Mr Steve who refused to give his last name or employee number)  was very arrogant and gave very insulting treatment. When I asked that I want to complain about him, the Manager behaved as if nobody was going to take any action against him (welcome this is Apple - sic)
    I want to know how to lodge a complaint against Apple bad customer service.I checked Apple website which to my astonishment did not give any easy option for mailing complaints.
    Can anybody tell me where to lodge complaints. Thanks.

    Hello, 
    I don't like to make formal complaints and generally avoid it if possible. However the customer service that I have received since placing my order has been unacceptable. My phone and broadband were supposed to be activated on 22nd but were not due to a **bleep** up at BT's end, and I did not find out that the order had not actually been put through until the activation day - and I was the one who had to call BT, nobody contacted me to let me know there was a problem. Phone is now sorted but broadband is not and I have wasted considerable time over the past few days getting absolutely nowhere and feeling like I'm being repeatedly fobbed off. 
    I tried to call to lodge a formal complaint today, but despite the 'contact us' section of the website saying that lines are open 9-6 on Sundays, all I got was an automated message saying that the line was closed. I also strongly suspect that the 'make a complaint' followed by 'about my order' sequence was routing me through to the exact same department (i.e. the order department rather than a complaints department) that I had being trying to sort things out with for the past few days, as at the end of the automated message it kindy informed me that I could get an update on my order elsewhere. 
    After looking around on these forums it looks like the moderators are able to take ownership of problems. It seems that that may be the most reliable way to get something done about this (I am not sure whether or not going via the moderators gives the same result as filling in the email form in the 'contact us' section, and given how badly things have gone so far I'm not feeling like I want to take a chance). I would really appreciate being able to provide someone with the full details of this case and feeling like someone is actually taking responsibility and taking my complaint seriously, which is not the feeling I got from speaking to the orders department.

  • How can I lodge a complaint with Apple about quality of products?

    I am about to purchase my fifth or sixth charger for my 13' macbook... of this last year and a half!! I am so unbelievably frustrated with the quality of my charger and the fact that these have to be replaced so often for products that, in just a few months, will stop working. How can I get in touch with Apple to file a complaint of this nature? None of the numbers listed on the contact website correspond with the nature of my complaint.

    lehath9, I don't know if this is the issue you're referring to, but I, too, am terribly frustrated by the amount of money I've spent on genuine Apple chargers in the last 18-24 months. 
    I believe the quality of the chargers has declined significantly and have had to replace, several times over, the chargers that came with my 2nd generation iPad, my iPhone 4S and the latest iPod touch.  The cables/wires are breaking and fraying.  
    I thought perhaps I was being too rough on my cables somehow the first couple times that it happened, but I know that's not the case now.  For comparison, the cables that came with my first two iPod classics and my first Nano are fine. I also took an informal survey via Facebook to see if others have noticed the same issue and got about 20 affirmative responses, all of which stated the problems started with chargers sold in the last 18 months. 
    I've purchased four replacements in the last six months and the third of those 4 is now broken, exactly as the previous 2 replacements and exactly like the three before those.  The rubber/plastic casing for the wires pulls away from the non-USB part of the charger (the end that goes into your ipad/iPhone/iPod).  Once it pulls away the wires are no longer supported and they start to hang at an odd angle (no matter how careful you are plugging, unplugging and positioning the charger in the device) causing them to break and of course preventing a charge from reaching the device.

    I. have two complaint: payment was made via master card, $ 19.9 ( AUD), I never able to get the "exportpdf ( wrodtopdf)" to work, after file was sent for the conversion, no PDF file or Word file is returned

    2. I will have a second year of pain and  time and money wasted; because in June 2014 I got charged again for the service, and I still cannot get it worked.,
    happy to keep the product if you could help solve it from review my account and setting and advise me how to get it working.,
    and give me one year "same" service back to cover all the time lost.,

  • Help Needed - Even after lodging "Presidential Complaint"

    Help needed please!!To make a long story short I have been through nothing but aggravation the past week trying to get my phone working. Service call on 7/6 to install Fios Internet, TV and phone. Internet and TV work fine, but Phone has no dial tone, going on a week and a half now. Tried contacting the account rep who set up my account, her supervisor as well as tech support on numerous occassions. 
    They set a dispatch for yesterday, and when the tech called me to say he was here, he was at an address i moved out of 4 years ago, in another state.I get a call from someone saying the service request was being closed and I need to call in with the correct address, after telling that rep I would not do that, that Verizon should make the updates based on my TV/Internet records, she hung up on me. Called back into Tech Support and the best they could do was an appointment for tomorrow. I then called the Corporate number and spoke with someone who opened a "Presidential Complaint" and requested an expedited call.. well i have heard nothing since then other than an automated call earlier today sayin my original service request will be kept. Needless to say I'm very upset that after a week and a half I still have no phone service and it doesn't seem like anyone is real willing to help me. I'm sure I'll get billed in full even though one of the 3 services I'm paying for hasn't been working in a week and a half..

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

    Anyone got any ideas?

  • Non receipt of students redemption offer, returned cheque after 11 months.

    I had purchased HP Envy M6 Notebook Sr.No. [Edited for Personal Information]With windows8 under student offer in July 2013 for my dughter & completed all the necessary farmalities and all documents alongwith cheque of difference for Rs.900/-  were been sent to redemption cell at New Delhi.  
    In between I contacted & send the email to Mrs. Renuka Chaudhary & M/s Balgo P. Ltd. Nagpur, regarding non receipt of Inkjet Printer under student offer.  
    In first reply Mrs. Renuka Chaudhary asked me to send redemption no.   In another communicaiton she reply that she has not got registration of the above product.  Whenever the Redemption No. is generated after the registration of the product detailed online is made.   After passing the 11 months I have received a  letter without sign & date  alongwith cheque of Rs.900/- mentioning the reason "Online Registration Not received" .  
    In this regard it shows the negligencies & deleberately created the problems with consumer while providing the redemption offer.  Moreover the many complaints are lodged on complaint forum that many of students / consumers, are not receiving the product under redemption offer.  That means the HP Company is cheating with consumers.
    With due respect to hp redemption cell,  I may please be granted a permission to lodge a complaint in Consumer Forum / Crime police (Financial).

    No any solution has sent to me till now or nobody replied that they are enquirying why this is happening with consumers?  It is a part & partial duty of HP  & it is not of a part of customer to waste their time in chating with hp help forum.  I think it is only a solution to go to "Consumer Forum"/Consumer Court for justice.

  • How do I query my complaint, waiting a week for an email update but no follow up

    My partner received a cold call from Steven who offered a free upgrade to eFibre. She rightly asked what this free offer would cost and was reassured it was free because loyal customers were being offered this roll out at no cost. My partner reiterated several times to Steven that she was not the A/C holder but Steven was adamant this was not chnging the T&Cs. Guess what we went from 2 monthly bills to monthly and our charges have doubled. My partner lodged a complaint and was reassured by Karen that it would be dealt with in 10 - 15 working days. A call back was received from a blocked number and a child was given a reference no. My partner phoned back and Kevin on the help desk placed her on hold and when he came back he announced he was dealing with the issue - it was now resolved and again guess what there was no question to answer. So now, i want a transcript of the call recording as Kevin played party correct and defended his employer by blaming my partner and not the unsolicited caller who should have asked for the A/c Holder only. Kevin advised there was no reference to her not being the A/C holder on his screen. She asked for written confirmation that the issue was closed and was advised that an email had been sent. I need to escalate this under advice and need your email. This phonecall happened last thursday and of course no email has arriverd. I presume a full transcript will not be furnished and i cannot hold confidence looking at the complaints on your Forum but i formally request same in order to complete your complaints process.Regards,UoC - the A/C Holder

    No, you're question was about filing a complaint about the Toronto store. This is a user forum, not a complaint forum nor a line to Apple. Apple is not listening here.
    If you want to send Apple feedback do so at Apple Feedback. If you want to resolve your issue with the specific store then call the store manager. We are all users like you. We cannot resolve your problem.
