Issue multiple batches

Hi
How to avoid issue of multiple batches of component during back flush.

Sandeep

DO MB1B transaction, with Movement type 541,
Enter the material with different Batches for required qty. as different line items.
e.g
line item 1 : mat X Batch 1 50 nos
line item 2 :  mat X Batch 2 40 nos
line item 3 :  mat X Batch 3 10 nos
line item 4: mat Y Batch 6 10 nos
line item 5 :  mat Y Batch 7 10 nos
line item 6 :  mat Y Batch 8 10 nos

  • How to issue Multiple Batch Items to subcontactor

    Hi,
I am facing problem at issuing the batch managed material to subcontractor, suppose I have to issue 20 kg of material xxxxx to subcontractor, but we have two batches aaa qty 10 kg and bbb qty 10 kg, but system is not getting batches automatically at MB1B-541, and we have to enter two lines at mb1b manually for batches aaa and bbb.
Please suggest how system should get batches automatically on the basis of shelf life expiration date.

    Hi,
You should define the batch search strategy and condition for batch determination while movement types.
Refer the below configuration doc it will help you..

i f for semi finished material A, sub contractor order 45000009 is created, where raw material required are:
    Mat X      100 nos
    Mat Y      30 nos
then how can I issue the raw materials wrt PO, and select multiple batches at the same time, without user entering the material again and again.
I have gone through the SDN multiple times to see the probable solution exists, but I have not received any solution.

  • Quality Certificate Issue with multiple batchs with same delivery note

    Hi,
    Hi,
    My Company Business Process:
Quality certificates are generated prior to the good receipt through IDOC process.
When we  receive the goods, GR should look for existing quality certificates and trasnfer the inspection results to inspection lot.
When we are trying to receive for single batch & delivery note, It is looking for existing quality certificates. There is no problem in this senario.
But when we receive the multiple batchs with the same delivery note, system is generating new quality certificates. It is not looking for existing QC which got generated through IDOC process. This is the actual proble.
Note: I am not sure is standard SAP does not supprot  to receive the multiple batchs with the same delivery note or not at the time of GR. Please advise me.
    Thanks,
    Suman

In data origin in certificate profile SAP supports " mix the origins within a characteristic. For example, the results data can originate from an inspection and the specification data can originate from batch determination."
Now here question arises Is batch determination of one batch or multiple bacthes took place against a single delivery note.
As per my understnading it should be one batch with is supported in std SAP.

  • Multiple batches for a production order and mapping with components

    Hello Gurus,
Our business requires to create multiple batches for one production order + they want to trace which component in the production order has been issued to the main equipment.
For example, I am creating production order for 'A' equipment for 4 qty. Business wants to create 4 different batches for these equipment
    Lets say now 4 batches are created A001, A002, A003 and A004.
Now lets assume 2 nos of 'B' component are required for 1no of 'A' component. So the requirement of B component is 8.
    Lets say 8 batches are generated B001, B002 ......B008
Now lets say batch B001 and B002 are issued for A001 and packed together. How do we map this?
I understand we can do some enhancement for creating the multiple batches but I still dont know how to map them with each other.
    Please help

    Hi Ethan
There is a functionality called WIP batches, that allows you keep the batch traceability within an order.
With WIO batches you can track which batch of component was used to produce each batch of finished product.

  • Problem in J1IFQ -Reconciling the Qty -Received in Multiple Batches- reg

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are encountering the Problem During Reconcilation of Quantity in Subcontracting cycle Received in Multiple Batches.
    The Following steps are followed,
    1. We have created a Subcontract PO with BOM Explosion.
    2. The Required Components are issued through MB1B.
    3. Subcontract Challan Raised in J1IF01.
    4. We created the Goods Receipt for the Processed MAterial Which has come in Two Batches.Hence we have used Distribute Quantity and split the Qty and Entered the Batch Numbers.Document Posted.
    5. In Transation J1IFQ, We have entered Material Document Number and Challan Number and Executed.
    6. Top of the Screen Material Document Details with Open Quantity are Displayed. There were two Line items displayed with Movement type 101.Since it is Received in Two Batches. The Consumed Quantities were shown in Movement type 543.
    7. Bottom of the Screen the Challan details were displayed with Challan Quantity.
8.The Open Input quantities are assigned cumulatively against DC Quantity for both the Batches.
    9. When we check the Allocation it gives an Message saying that"Material XXXXXXXXXX is not assigned fully, short by XX.XXX KG".
Note: We are not facing any problem If the Goods Receipt is made for the Single Batch.
Kindly Give us Your Valuable Input In order to Solve the Problem.

    Hi,
You don't need to create 10 process orders to split for 10 batches, In one process order itself you can do batch splitting in CO11N (auto GR) or MB31.
    Pl check the below link
Process order with multiple batches of finished product

  • Multiple Batches in a HU causing Multiple Pick TOs be created

    Hi,
Below is my scenario and I hope some one that is familiar with WM/HU can help me.
We have HU with multiple batches (e.g. 5 different batches) which are received on the same time, we are also 2 step picking relevance. So, we have to create picking TO using LT0E to against the DN group number. We are expecting only 1 TO been created if the HU quantity (e.g. 5 units) is matching the DN quantity (e.g. 5 units). However, the system is generating 5 TOs and each referring to the individual batch number. This has actually cause issue on TO confirmation process where the system is prompting a Destination HU which at the point of picking this sould be equivalent to the Source HU. However, system do not except the Source HU and throwing out the error message saying "Destination storage bin of TO item # and HU# are different". Can anybody help me to understand what is the problem here? Thanks.
    Tracy

    Hi,
    Try this.
    1. Goto Tcode MIGO with your PO number and do the GR for 3 quantities and give the batch mentioned by the vendor. Dont process check and post
    2. Again go the PO reference field and give the same PO number and do the second GR for the 5 quantties with the different batch number
    3. Then finally do fot the 3 rd GR.
    4. With three line items in GR, check and post the transaction.
It will generate only 1 Material document number.

  • Excise invoice capture with multiple batches

    Hi
We have created a Purchase order for Material X and carried out the transfer posting(MB1B)and selected two different batched of stocks, and created excise invoice using
    t code J1IS.
When I am capturing the excise invoice in J1IEX. with ref to Purchase order, system is showing only one line item.
It is not capturing multiple batches.this. we are doing it before goods receipts.

    Hi,
    Point1)
Ur material directly goes to the site for site work right ?
My question is why are u not taking the credit and dont want to update the part1 and part2.....???
ur are the consignee(purchaser) for the same so u can take credit...!!!
again one thing if ur not taking the credit then why r u bother about the excise settelement...Do the vendor invoice settelement. and inventorised the total excise.......
Point 2)U need to maitain the excise master i.e J1ID...( it is as important as maitaining material master for procurement). If u want excise related transaction to be happened.
Point 3) if ur not interested in maitaining the excise master then use ME51 report for analysis for excise settelement.

  • How to remove Sales Order to Own for multiple Batches at a time.

    Dear All,
We use to scrap FERT materials using Mvt. Type 551 / 555, but before scrapping stocks are being removed from Sales Order using Mov. Type: 411 'E', because Batches are produced against Sales Order under MTO strategy.
The removing process from Sales Order using T.Code MB1A & Mov. Type: 411 'E' is quite time consuming because in this case only one batch is removed from Sales Order at a time.
So is there any way by which I can remove multiple Batches at a time from Sales Order.
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Vivek Kumar

    Hi
YOu can use transaction MASS with the sales document, sales document item, batch fields.
create a variant and do the changes

  • Error while selecting Multiple batchs in Delivery

    Dear All,
I am facing a problem while selecting multiple batches for single item while creating delivery. It gives me Error "Item Category not defined for Batches".
But if i select one batch per delivery it works fine.
    Pls guide me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Shailendra Panhale

    Shailendra,
    1. Even though you do Batch Management Configuration in Logistic General. Item Category that is used should be activated for Batch Split.
    a. In That case IMG --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Define Item Categories for delivery, Choose the item category you have defined for the process and activate the following indicators
    Relevant for picking,
    St location Required
    Determine storage location and
    Auto Batch Determination Indicator
    b. --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Define Item Category determination in deliveries
Maintain it accordingly Delivery type(ZLF) + Item category(NORM) + Usage(CHSP - Batch split)  + Item Category + item Category (ZTAN)
Maintain Copy controls for Delivery to billing accordingly throuh the Tcode  VTFL

  • Skip lot across multiple batches for same material

    Hi,
I am looking for a way to control skip lots across multiple batches for the same material.
We need to do a quality check in production after a certain quantity produced (on a machine, for a material). My idea was to do skip lots (for GR)  until we reach a threshold (say 10.000 pcs) and then do an inspection for the next GR for that material.
Any ideas how to set that up?
    Thanks for any hint
    Andreas

    Hi mergler,
Ref to your query pls check this link Stock Posting for Skip Lots
