Issue with Flex Profiling

I am trying to run memory profiling for a flex application. But when I run the profiler, it does not open up the window for me to select options to do profiling on. I followed a link on http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2354891/flex-profiler-doesnt-do-anything and updated the mm.cfg file didnt help either. Can any one help me with this?

Reboot. Make sure debugging works. Then try profiling again.

Issue with flex lifecycle

I am trying to address an issue with flex lifecycle
There is a ui component ( say CompA) comprising of multiple tabs with individual components used in each of them.
CompA uses a data object that is used to populate the fields.
On click of a button in another panel, I am setting the current state of the application to this view component and after CompA is completely rendered I would like to load the data object and populate the fields.
The issue here is I cannot use the creationComplete event of CompA to load this data object because at this time not all components are completely created. (creationComplete of each of those components is not completed yet),.
When exactly can I load this data object into the UI fields. I am not able to figure out where even callLater() can be used .
applicationComplete
Event doesn’t seem to be an option, in this case.

You can load the data when the state changes. There are events for that.
You could also look into updateComjplete which may work for you.

Issue with Agent Profile from AM 70 OpenSSO interesting issue

I have a specific scenario and if it is not possible then ugrade from AM 7.0 to OpenSSO cant be true.
I have issue with the agent profiles (BTW I am not doing upgrade from AM 7.0 to OpenSSO but its a fresh OpenSSO install)
In AM 7.0 Agent profile is like this (below is the exact export from the AM 7.0)

Now you can see the issue in AM 7.0 the password is stored as "userPassword: {SSHA}1w9aOfz1D4bypX292YT2oObVee34BWkgSB3IXQ==" where by directory server userpassword is SSHA encrypted VS in opensso it is "sunKeyValue: userpassword={SSHA}1w9aOfz1D4bypX292YT2oObVee34BWkgSB3IXQ==" which OpenSSO doesnt like .. :)
If i create a Agent from the opensso Console then Agent create a password using AES encryption and and that works fine even when I import my above LDIF and update the password using the OpenSSO console it also works. The issues I have this I dont know all of the Agent clear text password and I only have the LDIF to work with. Any thought !! Please let me know I am stating to believe that the upgrade from AM 7.0 to OepnSSO will have the same issue which i have not tried yet.
Anythoughts or ideas are very welcome !

Configuring the agent like this, ie importing a ldif file is not supported and can lead to unexpected results as you have observed. Just do it in a supported way and change the password for the agent if you don't know it. As the administrator you are supposed to know the password or have the power to reset it.

Issue with Display Profiles

Hi eb,
I have a problem with Display profiles. When 2 users are log in, my display profil switch to "Generic RGB" and I cannot change it to any other profil.
When I restart and log in one user - everything is ok. When I log in second user display profile set to Generic RGB and issue start. When I log out one of them situation is same and issue persist.
I tryed run Color Sync Utility > Profile First Aid , but no problems found.
Had anybody same issue?

Issue with color profile image processing

Their seems to an issue with the iPhone displaying an image which has a Color profile of: Generic HDR Profile. The image appears very dark and nearly unviewable. This has been frustrating to trouble shoot becasue the image will display correctly on the computer, but when it is viewed on the iPhone it looks completely different. When images have other color profiles such as sRGB the images will look the same on both platforms. When an image has a Generic HDR color profile it will not display correctly on the iPhone.
Anyone else come across this problem?

Tricky issue with $FLEX$

Hi All,
I have a concurrent program with three parameters(say A, B,C)
My requirement is to
a) derive B using parameter A (I guess it can be done using $FLEX$)
b) dervice C using both parameters A, B
Is it possible to use $FLEX$ to fetch values of both A,B parameters.
Could someone please assist.

I think you can do that. As when you flex you give value set name along with it. So you should be able to write in the query with $FLEX$.VALUE_SET1 and $FLEX$.VALUE_SET2

File to IDOC - issue with partner profile

I have done File to IDOC scenario and tested it end to end successfully. For same have done all require configuration setting in R/3 like defining logical System and partner profile. And it sends new IDOC successfully in R/3 with status code 50 (IDoc added).
But when I create new logical system and partner profile in R/3 and when I use same logical system in my above mention scenario then my new generate IDOC in R/3 return status code 56 (EDI: Partner profile inbound not available). But same scenario work fine with my earlier partner profile. Here I have done all require changes at adapter level like adapter specific identification and same new logical system I have update in SLD with my business system Logical System Name.

In control record, I checked with sender and receiver partner. In this sender partner is new partner profile which I have created with port details. Receiver partner has logical system name which I have mentioned in my SLD for my receiver business system. But in receiver partner dont have any port details.
But still it has same problem.

Issue with $FLEX$ and populating dates.

I'm creating a custom report for a HR report. I have a requirement to enter a report type, if that report type <> 'DATE' then the parameters to enter dates are to be disabled. I when through the following steps.
Steps:
1. Define controlling parameter, XXRPT_TYPE
2. Define parameter - P_HIDDEN_PARAM. As it's name suggests, this is a hidden parameter, which will not be visible when we submit the conc. program.
Set it's Default Type as "SQL Statement " and
Default value as - "select decode(:$FLEX$.XXRPT_TYPE,'DATE','Y',null) from dual".
3.Define custom valueset, which will used for the date parameters - " Date From" and "Date To".
a) Click on Edit Information and enter forllowing query in Table Name field.
(SELECT (TO_DATE (SYSDATE - 200 + LEVEL, 'DD-MON-RRRR')) date_range FROM DUAL CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 1000)temp_tab
I am using "CONNECT BY LEVEL" concept to produce dates with the range of 1000 days.
You can modify 1000 to any other figure as per your requirement.
b) Set Value Name as date_range, which is nothing but the alias name in the query above.
c) I Entered following WHERE clause in Where/Order By field.
WHERE :$FLEX$.AMS_SRS_CHAR50='DATE RANGE'
When I run the concurrent program, the date field will disable if the report type will is on something other than Date Range, however when the report type is date range, I get an error (No Entries found for List of Values) If I comment the where clause then the date are displayed, but the disabling doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Posterisation issues with DNG Profiles Editor

I tried to tweak the Adobe Standard Beta for Nikon Coolpix 8700 profile to match the look of TIFF output of the same image from Capture NX. Though I could manage to get a perfect match of the colors (by way of around ten points in the green to red range), When I looked at the file so rendered at 100% there were significant posterisation and abrupt tonal changes which were very difficult to eliminate. Any similar experiences and suggestions / comments.
I am using Win XP Pro SP2 on a Intel Core2 3GHz. and G33 motherboard with its onboard Graphics card.

Hi Eeric, Having so many control points was in a effort to match the profile to the output of Capture NX, so that I could integrate all my workflow into Photoshop. I could not do without the use of as many control points because as you could see, so many hues of green were off. we should find a way around this problem. either like developing a set methodology of aproaching color adjustment or something else. I also suggest having a "Color Curve" probably something on the lines of the tone curve with input and output values of Hue.
I feel that there should also be a way to adjust the color range that each color control point can influence. That way there will not be a need to put too many control points close together.

I have one issue related to date profile which is like this,i have created a date profile and i have assigned this date profile to both Tansaction type & Item category of TA(standard order).
But the assigned date profile(date rules) is not seen in the header tab of TA transaction when i tried to create it.
please advice..
I need to resolve this asap.

Just a suggestion,as you have assigned to both transaction types and item category, so may be after entering the item in the transaction, you might be able to see the dates at header.
Please read below which is source from SAP Help.
For every transaction at the header and/ or item level, you can define which date type you need for the transaction, that is, which item type you need. By doing this, you avoid saving unnecessary date types on the database. The same applies for durations (for example, contract run time).
To assign dates and durations to an item category, you group the desired date types and durations together in a date profile and assign this to a transaction type or an item type.

Issue with child items of flex tree using QTP

We are trying to automate Flex web application using QTP10.
We are facing below issue with Flex tree when we try to automate a scenario of selecting a child item displayed in flex tree.
Issue:
On recording the step of selecting an item from Flex tree using QTP, the script displayed is .Select Index1. But when we replay it back no action is being performed.
Also on object spy we are able to navigate only till flex tree and we are not able to spy child items of flex tree.On the web page the child items are displayed as radio buttons/checkboxes.
Please provide a solution for me to this problem.

You could perform a HTTP trace (using HTTP watch) and compare the OCI data in POST method for both users (the correct and incorrect ones).
Perhaps there is some additional/missing information being passed from catalog to SRM.

VPP Distribution issues with OSX Server Profile Manager

Hi, I have a new issue with my OSX 10.9.5 Server. I use VPP to distribute apps to users devices, when I would add a new user I would send them an invitation message through /profilemanager . All was working well until recenetly , the message still arrives in the users mailbox however when you click the "sign in" link on the "receive apps and books from xxxxx" email instead of opening through the Mac App store app it now opens Safari and connects to the profile manager server , any ideas ? it never has done this before and although I thought it was a new feature or method I can not seem to resolve the issue.

Hi if when you are redirected back to your Mac Server you enter the user name and password of the user you are trying to receive VPP apps for i.e the Open Directory credentials it will then open the App Store providing the credentials are correctly entered so it looks like an additional layer of security. The process is click on the link in the VPP invite email, this takes you to your Mac Server profile manager, log on with your OD account, App store then opens on your Mac like it used to.

Issue with graphics tearing on thumb scroll in Flex 3

We are seeing some off issues with graphics (one using the charting package and the other using degrafa) tearing on thumb scrolling in a large Flex 3 app. It's very hard to reproduce on OSX with the latest versions of Safari and Firefox, but it shows almost immediately when you run the app on Windows or Linux (regardless of the browser). I took one of the pieces out of the app and put it into a very simple testbed app and can't get the problem to show on Windows (i was hoping to isolate the issue in a smaller test case, but no such luck).
So, ii've got a few idea's on how to work around the issue, but i was wondering if anyone else has seen this type of problem before?
Problem:
     - graphics tear on thumb scroll
     - doesn't happen if you click in the track or use the arrows
     - one view is using the charting package, the other view is using degrafa

SOLUTION: changed wmode from "opaque" to "window" in the jsp serving as the wrapper for the app's main swf...
