IT 581 not taking end date except 31.12.9999

PA 30>IT 581>Create
start date is 01.04.2012
If end date is 31.07.2012
System not considering date before 31.12.9999.
System showing following error-
End date before leaving date (31.12.9999)
Message no. PG211
Diagnosis
The end date entered falls before the employee's leaving date (31.12.9999).
The infotype has time constraint 1. This means that it must always be available during the employee's activity (employment status other than 0)
System Response
The infotype operation cannot be carried out.
Procedure
Control the validity period of the infotype record currently being processed and the employee's employment status in the Actions (0000) infotype for this period.

Dear Sarika,
Info-type 0581 works as the start date as the hiring date or the date your are opting for HRA exception with the end date as 31.12.9999. When you create another record from a particular date it will delimit the old record and create a new record from that date to end date 31.12.9999.
It is not different for different PSA, might be there is another record which will be valid after the end date you are trying to give. But the end date will always  be 31.12.9999 till the record is delimited or the person is terminated.

  • Use of error page resulting in could not deserialize session data exception

              We have recently converted classes that store objects in the HTTP Session to implement
              serializable.
              Our application uses an error page set up in our web.xml for 500 errors.
              It also uses filters.
              When our application throws an exception and allows the server to handle it
              via the error page setup, we end up with the exception we threw, plus a number
              of
              "Could not deserialize session data" exceptions in the stack trace.
              In general, the exceptions can be traced to lines in code that attempt to reference
              one of our "serializable" session objects to get user info for logging purposes.
              Problem is, other applications that do not use error pages to handle exceptions
              do not throw these types of exceptions in the wl-domain.log and they use the same
              classes.
              Does anyone know why this happens when using error pages and what we need to do
              to correct it?
              We are using Weblogic 8.1sp2.
              Thanks!!

  • Calendar itmes not showing end date in list view/when opened

    Hi,
    Got a client with a very strange issue with meetings.
    Few of the meetings are not showing end date after accepting those although he can see all meetings in calendar.
    I have already checked below on his machine
    switched the month view to ''low detail'' then back to "high detail"
    Show end date is visible in views
    Reseted view options to default
    Strange thing which I have noticed during troubleshooting is that issue is happening with Exchange cached mode only and not in Online view.
    Client is using Windows 7 Enterprise with office 2010 on his machine.
    I hope someone can help here. Let me know if any further infomation is required.
    Thanks

    Outlook 2010 would read the local data in local email profile and the view setting is also stored in local configuration when someone runs it in cached mode.(Email profile in online mode would read the data from Exchange store directly)
    At this point, I recommand that we create a new profile to check if we could see the end date in Outlook calendar view.

  • Current date parameter in concurrent program is not not taking current date

    Hi All,
    I have scheduled one concurrent request running very day @21:30 ,one of the parameter passed is current date ,which defined as default value at the time of defining concurrent program.Surprisingly its taking next day date as parameter.Can someone help me resolving this issue.
    From where this current date is taken.
    When I am logged in unix as oracle user and executing following query I am getting follwoing results
    SQL> alter session set nls_date_format='MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS';
    Session altered.
    SQL> select current_date from dual;
    CURRENT_DATE
    05/25/2010 07:40:11
    SQL> select sysdate from dual;
    SYSDATE
    05/25/2010 07:40:20
    date
    Tue May 25 07:40:35 SAUST 2010
    When I logged in unix as applmgr user:
    SQL> select current_date from dual;
    CURRENT_DATE
    05/25/2010 04:41:17
    SQL> select sysdate from dual;
    SYSDATE
    05/25/2010 07:41:19
    date
    Tue May 25 07:41:04 SAUST 2010
    Unix level date is correct and sysdate is also correct in both cases.
    But current_date when logged in s applmgr user is wrong,is this reason for the issue.
    If so how can I change it

  • IT0019- end date?

    End date for a non-employee should be 13months from the start date but it is taking end date as 12/31/9999.
    Please Help.

    You can save the Non Emploee details in IT0016 under the subtype contractors or what ever.
    For the subtype in SPRO you can maintain a standard setting for Associate or Non Associate, based on the settings:
    Associate will not have the contract end date, where as the non associates will have the contract end date displayed in the IT0016.
    IT0019 is only to maintian Monitoring Task but it is not suggested to maintian the COntract end date.

    But while changing the date to actual end date of the trip system allows us to go ahead.
    Please let me know what is the way forward.

    Hi,
    For this issue,I would like to know if we can access or see the file in the DVD.
    Did you receive the error message?
    I suggest you check the Device Manager to see if the device is marked with a yellow exclamation point.
    Meanwhile,please use the CD/DVD troubleshooter  tool ,which can automatically find and fix some problems with CD/DVD.

  • XL Reporter not getting any data

    <b>Hi</b>
    When I am using XL Composer and generating report using it, I am getting data what the fields I have dragged. Not getting any data when generating same report in organizer from composer except the Title field names. Before I got but now I am not getting.
    <b>STEPS Taken</b>
                     XL Reporter Composer Tool bar
                     Generate
                     Generate(Window)(Name: given Sample & checked Generate report    then ok)
    And having another problem when generating sample reports I am getting data and when editing that report are preparing new with some fields, I am not getting any data.
    <b>Example:</b>   I have made Edit of Bank Book and placed extra field Document No,   saved the report and generated I am not getting any data except titled fields.
         In new report I have taken BP Code and sales Employee I am not getting any data.
    Please Can any one help me,   It is urgent.
    Thanks in Advance.
    <i><b>Urs
    Sindhu</b></i>

    If you did not select any "total" field (quantities, totals, etc), XL Reporter will show data only at report composer. It will not work at final XL Report itself.
    This is a normal behaviour of XL Reporter, unfortunetaly.
    If you are trying to create a simple list of records, I suggest to use Query Generator, combined to PLD in order to get a formatted report.

  • Control file not updated till date in RAC two node database

    Hi,
    Good day.
    To my surprise i found that control files, in our database RAC with two nodes, are not updated till date except one from node 1 and another from node 2.
    But we got all the controlfile names in the init parameter file, in both the nodes.
    Node 1
    bash-3.00$ ls -lrt
    total 922128
    -rw------- 1 oracle dba 157286400 Nov 3 2007 cntrl03.dbf
    -rw------- 1 oracle dba 157286400 Nov 3 2007 cntrl02.dbf
    -rw------- 1 oracle dba 157286400 Apr 12 17:21 cntrl01.dbf
    Node 2
    bash-3.00$ ls -lrt
    total 922128
    -rw------- 1 oracle dba 157286400 Mar 30 09:17 cntrl03.dbf
    -rw------- 1 oracle dba 157286400 Mar 30 09:17 cntrl02.dbf
    -rw------- 1 oracle dba 157286400 Apr 12 17:20 cntrl01.dbf
    As you could see cntrl01.dbf is the only file updated till date in both the nodes. The database is running fine.
    what is actually happening?
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Balu.

    As you're using RAC it is very likely that you are using an SPFILE.
    Connect as a DBA account (or an account with SELECT ANY DICTIONARY privileges) in both the instances and do "show parameter spfile" and "show parameter control" (or query V$parameter)
    It is likely that the spfile is referencing only 1 controlfile.

  • End date should be the retirement date

    Hai
    In PA module, irrespective of employees retirement date ( ex. Retirement age is 58 yrs), system shows the default end date as 31.12.9999. but client needs the end date should be the retirement date. How to configure this scenario?

    The following is an example of dynamic action that creates a date info in IT0041 as soon as employee is hired. The date of retirement is 58 years after the hire date.

  • Not able to update Start/End Date with updateUser API

    Hello all,
    I am trying to update start and end date using the updateUser API, but the dates are not being set. I know the updateUser call works since I tested by changing the user's first name and it worked fine (verified through OIM web app). Below is the code that I am using to update as well as the sample values I am using. No exceptions are thrown either. I am clueless of what the problem can be. Also, one of my client's request is to also display the time of when those values where updated (through a custom web app that I am building). Is that posible? Before I was getting the time on where the call to userUpdate was made and appending that to the values I was setting in the hash table, but started using 0s for the time since that's what I read on a thread on this forum (Re: (OIM) Timestamp format must be yyyy-mm-dd.....
    Sample Values
    startDate = 2010-11-08
    endDate = 2010-12-09
    String startDateStr = startDate.toString() + " 00:00:00.000";
    String endDateStr = endDate.toString() + " 00:00:00.000";

    It is working fine for me.
    Map strDate = new HashMap();
    strDate.put("Users.Start Date", "*2009-06-24 12:01:56.000000000*");
    moUserUtility.updateUser(userResultSet, strDate);
    It will show you in DB as *24-JUN-09*. I don't understand what you are asking more in your thread.
    But updateUser API is working with this format. If you are getting time from some application, convert it to this format and run.
    If you need any help, let me know.

    Hi,
    I have the following piece of code which i am using to search into the database and display the result in my jsp page. But it is throwing this exception. This happens only when i give 2 conditions. If i try to search with only one parameter, it works fine and returns the result. But when i enable two parameters , it throws the exception.

    Hi drvijayy2k2 ,
    Thanks for replying.
    I used your code in my application and this is the problem i am facing now. The query is getting executed but its not taking the value from the database because of the Null Rev Id that is getting inputted into queryString. I have given only part_desc as the search criteria. If i just search using part description , commenting the rev_id part , i am able to retrieve the result from the database.
    I have to code in a way using which i can search using either rev_id or part_desc , or using both at the same time.
    Part Number In success:
    Rev Number In serchsuccess:
    part desc In seachsuccess: cat
    Keyword In sesuccess: ----
    Design style In sesuccess: ----
    Config In sesuccess: ----
    charac In sesuccess: ----
    queryString in sesuccess: select * from PART
    queryString in sesuccess: select * from PART where REV_ID= '' and OBJ_DESC= 'cat'
    driver manager
    connection established
    Query executed

    (From ODI user's guide/MODEL/ Change Data Capture)
    Using Changed data in Consistent journalizing is similar to simple journalizing regarding interface design. It requires extra steps before and after processing the changed data in the interfaces, in order to enforce changes consistently within the set.
    Operations Before Using the Changed Data
    The following operations should be undertaken before using the changed data when using consistent set journalizing:
    Extend Window: The Consistency Window is a range of available changes in all the tables of the consistency set for which the insert/update/delete are possible without violating referential integrity. The extend window operation (re)computes this window to take into account new changes captured since the latest Extend Window operation. This operation is implemented using a package step with the Journalizing Model Type. This operation can be scheduled separately from other journalizing operations.
    Lock Subscribers: Although the extend window is applied to the entire consistency set, subscribers consume the changes separately. This operation performs a subscriber(s) specific "snapshot" of the changes in the consistency window. This snapshot includes all the changes within the consistency window that have not been consumed yet by the subscriber(s). This operation is implemented using a package step with the Journalizing Model Type. It should be always performed before the first interface using changes captured for the subscriber(s).
    Designing Interfaces
    The changed data in consistent set journalizing are also processed using interfaces sequenced into packages.
    Designing interfaces when using consistent set journalizing is similar to simple journalizing, except for the following differences:
    The changes taken into account by the interface (that is filtered with JRN_FLAG, JRN_DATE and JRN_SUBSCRIBER) are not automatically purged at the end of the interface. They can be reused by subsequent interfaces. The unlock subscriber and purge journal operations (see below) are required to commit consumption of these changes, and remove useless entries from the journal respectively.
    In consistent mode, the JRN_DATE column should not be used in the journalizing filter. Using this timestamp to filter the changes consumed does not entirely ensure consistency in these changes.
    Operations after Using the Changed Data
    After using the changed data, the following operations should be performed:
    Unlock Subscribers: This operation commits the use of the changes that where locked during the Lock Subscribers operations for the subscribers. It should be processed only after all the changes for the subscribers have been processed. This operation is implemented using a package step with the Journalizing Model Type. It should be always performed after the last interface using changes captured for the subscribers. If the changes need to be processed again (for example, in case of an error), this operation should not be performed.
    Purge Journal: After all subscribers have consumed the changes they have subscribed to, entries still remain in the journalizing tables and should be deleted. This is performed by the Purge Journal operation. This operation is implemented using a package step with the Journalizing Model Type. This operation can be scheduled separately from the other journalizing operations.
    To create an Extend Window, Lock/Unlock Subscriber or Purge Journal step in a package:
    Open the package where the operations will be performed.
    Drag and drop the model for which you want to perform the operation.
    In the Type list, select Journalizing Model.
    Check the option boxes corresponding to the operations you want to perform.
    Enter the list of subscribers into the Subscribers group if performing lock/unlock subscribers operations.
    Click OK.
