Item Field Appearing In Account Assignment Field

Hello
I have added the customer specific field at the item level of the shopping cart and added the code in BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. When I activate teh BADI this field also appears in Account assignment fields which shudnt appear and when i deactivate the badi it doesnt appear in account assignment fields. Was there something wrong in the badi implementation. Please help.

<b><u>Account assignment fields</u></b>
For the account assignment fields, use the INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF structure. The account assignment fields are independent of the document type. To display the fields on the account assignment detail screen, you must carry out the following steps:
1. Use Transaction SE16 to include the user-defined fields that were defined in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF in table BBP_C_ACC_F.
2. Include the fields and the texts for the account assignment fields from INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF in table BBP_C_ACCFD (according to point 1).
3. In the IMG activity ' Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Account Assignment -> Define Account Assignment Categories', you can now add user-defined fields to existing account assignment categories.
<b>Alternatively, you can use BBP_CUF_BADI_2 to hide all the unnecessary fields from Display in the Shopping cart.</b>

    Z Account assignment is not in standard SAP it is customized, u have to check the settings in SPRO->MM->PURCHASING->ACCT ASSIGNMENT-> ITEM CATEGORIES as well u have to know why this is customized, since there is deviation from standard i'm really not able to locate the issue. this is purely based on the requirement done, if it is as per standard SAP sales order number will definitely show in acct assingment tab view.

  • In VA01 Item detail screen tab Account assignment field  Internal order ???

    Dear Experts,
    In T.code VA01
    item level data tab Account assignment there is field internal order , here if i created internal order that internal order should come automatically into that field
    e.g. i have one article / material for that i created one internal order where i put all expenses through T.code FB50 and i want to add sales revenue for that while creation of sale order i am putting internal order manually in T.code VA01
    so my question is  the same task can be possible automatically or not
    i have two thoughts
    1) either that internal order should assign to article or material master data or
    2) status profile has some link with internal order type (so by default link with internal order ) and there is provision in T.code VOV8 and VOV7 we can add status profile .
    Question
    IS IT POSSIBLE INTERNAL ORDER SHOULD COME AUTOMATICALLY IN SALES ORDER ITEM DATA ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT TAB AS PER ARTICLE / MATERIAL
    PLEASE GUIDE

    Hello,
    the account assignment category must be set in the purchase document item and it must be set as different from "U" (unknown) in order to have a commitment update for this document item.

    Details you have provided for account assignment in item detail is not faulty or not sufficient.
    If you are charging PO to a cost center, check for cost center and GL account.
    If you are charging PO to network....check for GL account, network and activity.

  • Item Category D and Account Assignment F error message in RFQ

    Hi gurus,
    Am experiencing a strange error message creating an RFQ from a Purchase requisition generated by a maintenance order : "Combination item category D/account assignment category not defined".
    The combination Service D/ Order F is actually defined in customizing step : "Define Combination of Item Categories/Account Assignment Categories": The Purchase requisition in indeed created without any problems with this combination of item category / account assignment which is pretty confusing, Is there an specific step for RFQ somewhere ?

    Check the configuration in the following menu path:
    IMG - MM - Purchasing - RFQ/Quotation - Define document types
    Check the item categories allowed & then select the item category D & check whether you have combination of PR with item category defined.
    Other than this I do not think there is any other specific combination.
    Remember that in RFQ you don't see the account assignment catgory.

  • Adding new field in SC Account Assignment Screen (only for information)

    Hi guys,
    we have a requirement, to <b>show</b> additional fields within the account assignment screen. The contents should only be displayed as information for the user. It is not necessary, respectively not wanted to save this data within SRM or the Backend-System.
    2 questions:
    a) Is it necessary to expand the item-structure of the SC (INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC) AND to expand the accounting structure (INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF) for this fields?
    b) Is it sufficient, that the INCL_EEW*-structures of the PO-/billing-document etc. are <b>NOT</b> expanded with the additional fields to avoid the saving? In OSS-Note 458591 it is mentioned, that it is necessary to expand the CI-COBL-structure within the Backend-System.

    a) Yes. You need to expand the item structure at the Shopping cart level to display your Custom fields in the We bapage. As Per OSS Note - 672960, you can see the details. For display purpose, at least these custom fields must be created in the standard include structures [e.g., INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF, etc ].
    b) Yes, no need to expand any other SAP Include structure, incase you don't want the field contents to be saved in backend system (incase of Purchase Order / Purchase Req).

  • Display standard Field Profit Center in Account Assignment Tab

    Hello all,
    i have a problem regarding display a standard field.
    The Business Case is that when i create a new shopping cart, on item level, on tab account assignment i want to display the field profit_ctr.
    i thought that i can maintain this in SPRO.
    Configure Field Control -> Configure for Fields of Substructures -> Metadata for Fields of Substructures and Table-Like Enhancements
    with new entry
    31         PROFIT_CTR     BUS2121
    but i can see this field when i create a new shopping cart.
    You have an Idea how to configure this ?

    Check SPRO configuration for account assignment settings @
    SRM server->cross application basic settings->account assignment->Define account assignment
    1. Check for your acc assignment category for ex. WBS , what are account assignment fields are maintained.
        if not there maintain profit_ctr from search help.
    2. If you are not able to track profit_ctr in search help then you may need to make respective profit center entry in table BBP_C_ACC_F and then perfom step 1.
    after above steps even you are not able to get profit center on screen then you may need to check
    1. Meta data configuration
    2. WDP component for profit_ctr field

    I have maintained the B and F combination in the customization.
    But when I am creating the PR using item category B with account assignment F (order) and after pressing enter, this account assignment F vanished from the PR and that field also turns in to gray mode. So system is not allowing to use u2018Fu2019 with B item category.
    Have you used or tested this scenario of using combination item category B with account assignment F (order) in PR and PO.

    One line item of a PO has multiple account assignment category with the cost distribution for
    1. Cost Center - 50%
    2. Order          - 50%
    Is it possible?
    As per my understanding one line item in a PO can have only one account assignment category

    Yes it is possible by Po line item.
    Just go to transaction bbp_poc through the web interface.
    Select your PO
    Select your line item PO.
    goto the account assignment tab (item overview)
    you get a cost distribution field in percentage
    then you get a cost distribution button : click it and you get several lines where now you can split your 100% in as many lines as you want.

    I am wandering if it is possible to automate the copy of the first line presented for 10pc in multiple account assignment  screen on PO line item level to 10 lines with quantity 1 in the same multiple account assignment screen. This is of course related to the second step we want to examine which is the creation of Assets for these 10 multiple account assignment lines

    Hi David,
    First keep the PO line item Qty to 1 , then select multiple account assignment the first line with QTY 1 will be defaulted
    Select the first line and choose copy just beside copy icon the new icon will appear "insert account assignment item"
    Select on right side you have two options "Insert Once" , "Insert several times" select several time system will default Pop up
    Insert number of times 9 , Now change the line item Qty. to 10

  • Sales Order/Item as Account Assignment in Accounting Doc.

    I have a scenario where we are selling some services. Process is to create sales order --> Create billing document in reference to sales order & then release it to accounting. I am using materials of type DIEN( service) for the purpose and have customized the sales order / item category. Process is working fine till creation of accounting document but the accounting document is missing sales order/item in it [as account assignment]. I am not sure what config I am missing.
    Attached file shows where I am expecting the sales order / item to be seen.
    Please provide hints on this.

    If you want the billing doc to post in the sales order as cost object, then your GL has to be cost element and the account assignment category in Sales order must be E
    Check the Requiremebt Type in the Procurement tab of sales order.
    This RT is assigned to a Requirement Class and the RC is mapped to Acct Assgn Catg.
    Spro - Cost object controlling - prod cost by sales order - control of sales order related.....
    In this node you can see which RC is assigned to RT

  • Ability to modify Account Assignment Category for Service Item Categories

    Dear experts,
    Our customer has a requirement to modify the account assignment category when the item category is set to "D" services on a PR and PO line item. This scenario is specific to indirect procurement scenarios in SAP ECC 6.0 MM.
    End users may potentially create a PR against a service item category with an incorrect account assignment category. These PRs are created using free form text. No service master exists in these scenarios. During the approval process or during PO creation, an approver or the buyer may need to correct the account assignment category. The account assignment category is "display" only and cannot be modified when the item category is set to "D". The user must delete the line item and create a new line item with the correct account assignment category. The copy function cannot be used because the account assignment copies from the existing line and cannot be modified.
    Any recommendations to this issue using standard SAP configuration solutions?

    Item Category to Account Assignment Category combination is already configured. For Service Item Category, we have three account assignment categories configured. All three categories are valid in different scenarios. Sometimes the user selects the incorrect account assignment category (out of the three available) depending on the business scenario. PT9F configuration is already set to Account Assignment category "optional". However, the account assignment category still cannot be modified on the PR when the item category is "D" service.
    Any other recommendations?

  • GR Printing For Single Line Item With Multiple Account Assignment.

    There is PO for projects (Account Assignment -P - Network) in which in a single item consist of multiple account assignment.
    Noe while entering the GR I select "Collective Slip" option but when the GR is posted system automatically select option "Individual slip" and seprate line item are printed for each account assignment.
    The printing program is standard SAPM07DR. The SAP version is 4.7. Can anyone tell what is ther any setting in configuration or is it problem in program or smart form

    The account assignment category determines which account assignment details are required for the item (for example, cost center or account number).

    SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Account Assignment > Maintain Account Assignment Categories
