Items not not when synching

I have tried to synch my new ipod touch with my itunes library. When I try to do this I get the message "Some items in itunes library were not copied because they could not be found." I have approx 29 gb of music in my library but only some 3gb appears to have been transferred. Can anyone help? this is most frustrating

This means that iTunes can't find some files. The listing you see in your iTunes library can be just a pointer to the real location of the files. There is an option in iTunes' Preferences>Advanced that will a copy a to the iTunes Media folder when you add an item to your library. You need to find the music files and pint iTunes to where they are really located.

77 songs not transferred when synching to new iMac

I synched my video ipod to the newly purchased iMac after copying the library over on firewire to iTunes. I do not see a 'purchased music' file on the new iTunes. 77 songs and a purchased video did not load on the ipod. Do I need the 'purchased file' as proof for the iMac to synch? If so, anyone know where it is and how I transfer it?

There is no Music folder.
Perhaps I should try to start from a clean slate again. Do you think it will make sense to wipe out all the data and re-install OSX, re-migrate? There will not be any lost data (compared to what I have now..)
When I re-installed OSX, I had to state a name. I chose the name on the previous computer, which led to a conflict when I tried to migrate. I had to choose another name for the new iMac. Could this have led to the inability to restore properly? (am I making sense?)

Contacts not updated when synching iphone 3g

Had iphone 3g reset at Apple store because of issue with battery. Had to synch phone to restore all apps and contact info. After synching, apps are back but no contact info was reinstalled, no numbers or names. Does anybody know how I can retrieve the contacts and load into phone?

ITunes Synch: 'x' items could not synch. See iTunes

I'm baffled. I get the msg when I synch my iphone with my MAC that reads on my iPhone: "iTunes Synch: 'x' items could not synch. See iTunes for more info."
I look in iTunes to see where that info may be, but am unable to find the info. I use 'x' to indicate a random number because the number is almost never the same. SO what am I looking for or how do I find this supposed info?

As far as I can tell, if you go to iTunes, right click your device in the lefthand panel, and click "Reset Warnings." That's what it took on mine to list the items that didn't copy to the phone. Hope that helps. =/

Items could not be synched

I get this message when I synch my iPhone5 with my MacBook; "* items could not be synched. See iTunes for more information". I cannot see anywhere on iTunes to get that information so cannot tell what is not being synched and why. Any ideas?

What items are not synced to your device? If apps, check the iOS specs for the apps. If music or video data, make sure it can be played on the iPhone:

Since it seems App related, I'm not sure what to offer you. I guess the only suggestion I have is for you to reboot your iPad and then try again. To reboot, hold the power and home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any settings or data, so it's worth a shot.

1. Checked the file extension is added or not to the search file types.
2. Checked file name has any invalid characters.
3. Resetting the crawl index and run a full crawl .

Item Category not Defined Error message when deleting a batch item in Deliv

Hi,
I am trying with a Intercompany transfer . So after creating Interco. Transfer we have followed with a delivery document.
Now,we would like to delete the delivery document. For your info. Del. doc is still open. We haven't gone for Goods issue or anything else.
So,we tried removing the batch line item in batchsplit tab of the delivery and then deleting the delivery document.
But we get the error message "Item catgeory Not defined". but we could see entries for Item category Determination with the particular Delivery typeItem Category Group from Material MasterItem Usage+Item Category.
Why does system throw "Item catgeory Not defined". when there are entries for particular determination available .

I recently bought a new computer and had all my files moved to it. Now when I sync my iPad and iPod I get a message stating that some (41) of my items can not be copied to my PC because it is not authorized even though it is authorized on my account.

I have tried de-authorizing it and re-authorizing it but they still will not copy. Any thoughts on how I can get them to copy?

Authorize the new computer. Launch iTunes. Go to the menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer.

PO-Freight cost (header, diff currency with items) not distributed when GR

Dear Gurus,
I've one PO with freight cost at header level (1000 VND). In the PO, this freight amount shown to be distributed successfully to line item (value base, line item 1 is 300 VND, line item 2 is 700 VND). But when doing GR, the freight cost of each line item is NOT distributed but equals the total freight amount (line item 1 is 1000 VND, line item 2 is 1000 VND).
In this PO, vendor is international vendor, goods in USD. Freight cost is in local currency (VND)
The configuration for this freight cost condition is at Header level, Group Condition ticked; Calculation type: Fixed Amount; Scale Basis: Value. When the currency of freight cost and goods are the same (all in USD), I have no error as above.
Please help to solve this issue.

Why QUAN_PO_E field in BBP_PDIGP tabl is not reset when PO item is deleted?

For some reason, after an item is deleted at PO, its corresponding QUAN_PO_E field in BBP_PDIGP table of SC has the same quantity ( for example, 3 pieces ).
When the buyer access the SOCO, the item is not displayed because previously the system make a validation: if quantity is equal to quan_po_e ( the difference is zero ), eliminates the item to display and reset the SOURCE_REL_IND to space.
Somebody knows the reason for which the field QUAN_PO_E is not updated with the value of zero after deleting the items of the purchase order?
How can I update the QUAN_PO_E field on safe way maintaining the data consistency?

Could you please check if note 1326380 is implemented ?
The implementation of this note will not affect the older SC which
didn't return to sourcing after PO deletion. But the issue should not
happen for the POs that are deleted after the implementation of the
note.
Please, check if field QUAN_PO_E (table BBP_PDIGP) was not cleared after
PO deletion.
If not, you can clear this field for the SC item (for which the PO has
been deleted), then clean_reqreq_up should send the SC to sourcing.
So a work around would be to manually delete this field, and run
clean_reqreq_up again.

We are using SAP SRM to punch out external catalogs. Firefox version 3.5 and below works fine and the items from the catalogs are brought back to SRM .But when we use version 3.6.12 the items are not getting transferred back to SRM from the Catalogs.

SRM is a procurement system from SAP which we use to purchase goods and service. We have external catalogs like officemax, cdw etc which we punchout the items and bring it to SRM for ordering.
When we use firefox version 3.5 and below the items which we add from the Catalogs are correctly brought back to SRM for us to order. But when we use versions 3.6.12 the items are not brought back to SRM.
Internet Explorer 7 and 8 works fine. Is there anyway you can help us.

Firstly I would suggest you to upgrade your database from Oracle Release 11.2.0.1.0 to Oracle Release 11.2.0.2 . This is the recommended Oracle 11g database version for SAP solutions. Many of your problem will get resolved with it.
Question 1:
So my first question would be is there any other suggestions besides adjusting the mentioned parameter above in order to ensure that no work processors going into hang state due to RFCs' occupying it as this issue always happens at the end of the month only when there are massive users accessing it.
For immediate resolution the approach you have followed is correct viz limiting number of dialog processes for RFC. Secondly you need to analyze why RFC processing takes so much time. You need check which programs are getting executed by those RFC.
Generate EarlyWatch report for more detailed view

My second question is what went wrong with the libttsh11.so file. How could it be 0 size in PRD when no signs of changes had happen to the PRD system. Is this a proven Oracle Bug or something else since I have never encountered anything like this before.
The libttsh11.so library cannot be found in the related directory.
Cause
The file system is mounted using CIO option, but per Note 257338.1 Direct I/O (DIO) and Concurrent I/O (CIO) on AIX 5L, an ORACLE_HOME on a filesystem mounted with "cio" option is not supported.
Such a configuration will cause, installation, relinking and other unexpected problems.
Solution
Disable the CIO option on the filesystem.

go to 'Edit' in the menu bar. Then choose 'Preferences'.
you'll see a pop-up and there's a tab called 'Devices' there. If you click that, you will be able to check a box that says 'prevent automatic syncing for iPods, iPads and iPhones' or something like that.

NB: if you don't even see the menu bar that has options like 'File, Edit, View, etc', first click the black/white square button on the top left of your screen, and then click 'show menu bar'. It should pop right up.

Most scanners default to Pictures folder or the Desktop.
If you select All My Files and Arrange by Date Added you should be able to find the file.
If you turn on Show Path bar and Show Status bar for your Finder Window under View in the Menu bar, when you select the file you will see the path of the file in the bottom of the Finder window.

You have to have an internet connection, either wireless or through a computer with iTunes. When you choose Software Update you can only update to the latest version for your iPod Touch, iOS 6.1.6
