IWeb Fonts List

I've been having some iWeb font problems. From reading in here, I can see others have as well. In my research within this site and other places I've found some information that I think might be useful. There is a file buried within the Domain file that tells iWeb how to handle fonts. It lists fonts that are commonly found on Macs and tells it what font to substitute if the site is being viewed on a PC that doesn't have the same font (it has tried to map fonts that are as close to the same style as possible - but it is a pretty limited list because it's trying to use ones most PCs will have). It also tells iWeb that some specific fonts should be converted to an image. These are fonts like "Marker Felt" or "Cracked" or "Handwriting Dakota" that are very graphic in their design. Only the fonts that are included in this list and are specified to be converted to an image will show the little icon by your text box in iWeb when you have the "Text imaging indicator" turned on in the Preferences. I have many fonts that I've purchased that are not on this list. They will still be converted to an image when the site is published even though they don't have the icon by them when viewing the page in iWeb. I learned about this from a website posted on this forum that has been very helpful.
http://11mystics.com/blog/2007/09/12/how-can-i-ensure-the-fonts-i-use-will-look- good-on-a-pc/
As explained on the llmystics.com site, it is possible to edit this list. I added a font that I like to use to the list and indicated that it should be converted to an image. The little icon that says it will be converted now shows up.
This may be information overload, but here are all of the Mac fonts that are included in this iWeb font conversion list. I haven't included the names of the PC fonts that they will be converted to, and I haven't split out which ones are being told to become an image. This is just FYI so that you can tell if your font isn't listed here, it will definitely be converted to an image even though it won't look like it in iWeb because the icon won't be by the text box. I know it's hard to read, but at least the list is in alphabetical order..... hope this is helpful. By the way, I'm still having a problem that someone else listed. I'm trying to use Optima on my site. It looks fine in iWeb. When it's published, it shows up looking much bolder than it should. If I convert it to an image by putting a shadow on it like others in these discussions have indicated, then it looks ok. So, I'm not sure why it doesn't seem to be handling the Optima font correctly when it's not a graphic. Since I'm using the same computer to view the webpage that I created it on in iWeb, it would seem that it would have the identical font available to display it correctly. Don't it just make you crazy....

Thank you piper angel,
I am sure this information will be very useful for many. Another way to force a font to be saved as a graphic is to add a shadow and move the opacity slider to 0 the shadow will not show and the font will be read as a graphic. (that's for folks who don't want to mess into the files that make iweb work.

  • IWeb wish-list (maybe in iLife '07)

The whole iLife suite is definitely a bargain for what you get. Having said that, I still have a wish-list for iWeb. If I missed some of the capabilities listed below, I'd love to hear from anyone, but these are a few of the things I hope to see in iWeb '07. If you've got more, bring 'em on. I'm going to send my list to Apple using the "Provide iWeb Feedback" menu. Who knows? You can't score if you don't shoot!
    My iWeb wish-list:
    1. Support for tables.
    2. Support for bookmarks within pages.
    3. Better control of image resolution when importing from iPhoto.
    4. Ability to import and post calendars from iCal (I was a little surprised this didn't make it into the 1.0 release). You should even be able to have your site dynamically link to a calendar that you've synchronized with your .mac account.
    5. Ability to view page source and hand-code HTML on your pages.
    6. FTP support.
    7. Vertical navigation bars.
    8. Nesting of pages in the navigation structure beyond just 2-deep.
    9. Automated page elements like a text field that updates with today's date when you change the text on the page. Like the text you see at the bottom of pages that reads, "This page last updated on XX/XX/XX"
    10. Content height and width management by percentage or pixels (currently it's only pixels). By percentage, the page will dynamically adjust height and width as users grow or shrink the sizes of their browser windows.
    11. Ability to update the themes of sites without having to "start over."
    12. Hyperlink validation for your entire site - verify there are no broken links. This is especially useful for external links.
    13. More control over modifying themes.
    14. Ability to create new themes.
    14. Better control over navigation menus (ability to view links as buttons or text; change fonts/font size without having to apply a different theme, etc.)
    15. Others?

Just a few additions and comments:
. Ability to view page source and hand-code HTML on
    your pages.
php support would be cool too
and the ability to add custom CSS
    6. FTP support.
where only updated pages are uploaded, and not the entire site
It should be possible to chose if iWeb should run in "beginner" or "advanced" mode. In the adv you should be able to chose if you want to include the fancy slideshow and hit counters, etc to an external website
commenting on the blogs is a must too. Blogs seem like a waste to me if no one can comment on the entries.
I would also like to see "cleaner" coding, but it's no biggy, would just make it easier to modify coding!
Oh, and if you hard-code something, then iWeb needs to leave it alone. Can't have iweb overwrite changes you've made everytime you change something in iweb and re-upload!!
Now some of you might notice that I only have iLife '05, so how can I have all this suggestions? Just based upon the limitations I've read about. If apple implement a few of these changes to iWeb, I might just invest in a new iLife package.
I've made websites for a long time, and I must admit I would love to be able to use iWeb to design my webpages. It just needs to be a bit more flexible
thanks for taking the iniativ, Peter!

  • Limited iWeb Fonts

I've looked at a few other threads on here and I'm not having a specific font issue...the problem is iWeb is giving me very limited fonts to choose from, and not letting me import any others. For example, my font list in iWeb looks like this...3 Arials in different sizes, 2 Arial Bolds, and about 5 other random fonts (most of which I'm sure aren't web-safe). Is there a way to reset iWeb's font selection to default? Is there a specific iWeb font folder? Any tips?

You probably have a problem with the application "Font Book". All of the fonts are located there. So when an application opens the font window, fonts are received from Font Book. What I can recommended that you do is check other applications that have a font window, check them to see if you have the same problem, and if they do it's something wrong with Font Book. If it's that I would contact Apple about that. If it's not that, it must be a problem with iWeb. If that refresh the iWeb cache by doing this,
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
2 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
    3 - reboot.
4 - launch iWeb and see if the fonts will appear.
    - That will possibly take care of the problem
    Hope this helps,
    Tom

  • Font list wrong in InDesign CS3

I use Linotype FontExplorer X to organize and activate fonts and have been very happy with it. All of a sudden I'm finding that though I have the font "Times" (with roman, italic, bold and bold italic) activated, the font list in InDesign CS3 shows "Times (TI)" (which only has roman) and "Times (BM)" (which only has regular). If I launch InDesign CS2, the font list is correct, showing "Times" (with roman, italic, bold and bold italic) and not "Times (TI)" or "Times (BM)". What gives?
    I'm using system 10.4.10.

The usual first step for this kind of error would be to delete the Adobefnt*.lst files, where the * is any number.

  • Font list just keeps getting longer!@!

    hello!
i use suitcase fusion with my illustrator CS2.
I have noticed that in some files the font list is very long, and once I open a new font or activate it it is listed in the font list and openned every time I open the file.
is there a way to delete fonts from the list???
I delete swatches and patterns etc. when I save a file to make it a little smaller and open faster, now I am onto the fonts.
    kt

If the fonts are used in the document, you can replace them by selecting: Type > Find Font.
If the listed fonts are not in the Find Font dialog and they are not active in either Font Book or Suitecase Fusion, then it is possible that the font list files have become damaged. You may be able to reset the list by reseting the font list files:
    1. Quit all open applications.
    2. From the Finders menu go to File > Find.
    3. Select the hard drive name and select File Name from the Search options.
    4. Change the Kind field to Name.
    5. Type the following in the search field: Adobefnt
    6. Move any of the resulting files to the Trash and then empty the trash.
Once these files are deleted, relaunch the product and attempt to reproduce the issue. The font list files will get recreated as needed.

  • Outline View In Isolation Mode + Scrollable font list on mac like its on PC

I would love to have outline view available when in isolation mode.. Not sure why its not available.. Also would like to have the scrollable font list on the mac version like how it is on PC..

Outline view is available in CS4. At least on a mac, OSX 4.11.

  • I bought and installed many fonts for a project and one font in particular which is showing up in the font list on a new file, is missing when I open an existing file containing that font. I can't understand why that's happening and the font is Centrale S

    Hi
I am encountering a missing font error on Adobe Illustrator for a font that I recently bought - Centrale Sans Bold. This font is clearly installed in the system's font folder and is also showing in the font list on Adobe Illustrator. But when I open an existing file containing this font it is giving the error "The document uses fonts or characters which are not available or are in a different format than originally specified".
We have also bought Centrale Sans regular from a different website as we couldn't find both on one, could that be clashing somehow?
Also the existing file was created on MAC plattform and we are using a windows plattform to open it. That to me doesn't seem like an issue as all other files are opening up fine and I have bought around 47 fonts and only this font seems to be not working. I have also written to the website I bought it from but I have also bought around 20-25 fonts from them and all the other fonts are working fine too. Maybe its an illustrator related problem?
    Please help!!!!!!

There is one way its getting fixed. Once I update my Adobe Illustrator CC to Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 it is further allowing me to go into the system folder and allocate the font to the file so that it can replace it. My only concern now is that our MAC partners who will receive these files back from us have Adobe CS6. We will down save it to CS6 but I hope they won't experience any font issues because of us using CC 2014? Any light you can shed on this?

  • Feature Request: Consistently Intelligent Font Lists across all CS Program

Current Problems/Inconsistencies in Font Lists + Suggested Solutions:
    NUMBER OF FONTS SIMULTANEOUSLY DISPLAYED:
Premiere Pro (PP): 16 (too few!)
    AE: 19 (too few!)
    Photoshop: 40 (adequate)
Illustrator: auto-maximizing (displays as many fonts as screen supports, 50 on a 1920x1080 monitor)
*SOLUTION: Make all font lists auto-maximizing like Illustrator!
    FONT PREVIEWS:
PP: Yes (6 user-defined characters previewed next to font names)
    AE: No previews
Photoshop: Yes ('Sample' displayed in each font, but too small for comfortable viewing)
Illustrator: Yes (Each font name is displayed in actual font, but this makes it inconvenient to know the name of 'Dingbat' fonts.)
*SOLUTION: Make all font lists display font names in left column, with 'Sample' displayed in the actual fonts to the right.  When users select any text, replace 'Sample' with the first 1-30 selected characters for instant previewing in all available fonts (e.g. selecting the '&' character would display '&' in all available fonts for instant comparison). Also make font lists resizable with a horizontal zoom bar at top of list to ensure comfortable viewing for everyone.
    SCROLL BAR:
    PP & AE: Yes
Photoshop: Yes (perfect size and color scheme for best visibility)
Illustrator: No (current scrolling method is frustratingly slow!)
*SOLUTION: Add a Photoshop style scroll bar to each font list for best visibility/usability.
    FONT SELECTING WITH ARROW KEYS:
PP & AE: Yes, by arrow-keying up/down in both the font fields and font lists
Photoshop & Illustrator: Only from the font fields. Highlighting fonts with the arrow keys in the font lists doesn't result in font visualizing.
*SOLUTION: Allow PREVIEWING of fonts by arrow-keying up/down in font fields and font lists in all CS programs.  I emphasize 'previewing' instead of 'selecting', since previewing fonts avoids the problem of unnecessary undos being created for each font visualized with the arrow keys. (Note: Arrow-scrolling through the font field in Photoshop's Options bar works as I suggest, by 'previewing' each font without creating unnecessary undos.  Unfortunately, arrow-scrolling through the font field in Photoshop's Character panel does create useless "Set Character Style" History states for every visualized font.  This kind of inconsistency even within a single program is crazy!)
    CONCLUSION:
CS programs are all part of the same family, and should therefore behave as such with consistently intelligent tools.  This includes font lists with a consistently intelligent design.
Please comment and share!  Let's get these glaring font list inconsistencies finally fixed!

If you want to do this correctly you need to file a request for each feature.
Ripple Sequence and Chapter Markers is already implemented. Sequence markers are the same as chapter markers, yes? (Ripple Sequence Markers, select Marker > Ripple Sequence Markers.)
Ability to print the Keyboard Shortcuts, or save all of them as a text file. also available. (hold ctrl+shift while opening. A button with clipboard appears)
Keyboard shortcuts to scale image zoom in Source and Program tabs. available
Keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease playback resolution. available
Make Export and Title windows return to the previously adjusted size and placement. They do.
Some feature you posted are great. How about a eyedropper tool for the Color Matte?
I find the Magnet for Snap quite visible. There is also this feature in the Pref to make the playhead snap.

  • HT2509 Despite what this article states, Apple support told me not to try to remove any fonts as it could cause other possibly serious problems.  Is there a program which can be safely installed which will keep at the top of the font list those fonts whic

An article in the New York Times yesterday told how to remove unwanted fonts from the Font Book.  I followed its instructions (the same as those on the webpage "support.apple.com/kb/ht2509") and was NOT successful in removing fonts.  Despite what the newspaper article and the web page stated, my attempts to remove fonts were unsuccessful.  I use perhaps 15-20 of the hundreds and hundreds of fonts, and deleting those I don't use would make choosing a font a lot faster.  I called support and was told not to try to remove any fonts which I myself had not added to the list(I have not added any) as doing so could cause significant problems elsewhere.  The support tech suggested that there might be independent software programs which would keep at the top of the list those fonts I have used, which sure would speed up the process of selecting a font.  Anyone know of such a program, or how to safely alter the font list Thanks.

I just spoke again to tech support and this time an answer was provided that works!  Choose the font you want to use, drag it to the left, and a new "unnamed" folder will appear.  Continue to drag into that folder fonts you want to use.  You can click onto that folder to change its name.  Then when using font book merely click on that folder to open it and select the font wanted.  This tech rep also confirmed that you should NOT try to delete individual fonts as they are part of the basic operating system; he did confirm that the apple web page in parentheses above says otherwise, and will refer that to higher ups to see about removing or modifying that page.

  • I have installed the font Broadway on my computer and it works in Microsoft Word but does not appear in the font list in InDesign.  How can I fix this problem?

I have installed the font Broadway on my computer and it works in Microsoft Word but does not appear in the font list in InDesign.  How can I fix this problem?

Start by rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, search for adobefnt*.lst and delete all instances where * becomes a 2-digit number.

  • My iWeb Wish List for '07

Just sent the following to Apple's iWeb Feedback; figured I'd post it here as well just for the heck of it.
Some of these requests may apply only to my particular -- some would say peculiar -- workflow, but I suspect there are at least a couple which other user's might share.
    (using iWeb 1.1.2 under OX X 10.4.8)
    One User's iWeb Wish List:
    1) Option to have Comments included in Captions for online albums.
When Importing pics from iPhoto, there should be four checkboxes:
one for Image Name (i.e. Title),
    one for Date,
    one for Time,
    and especially one for Comments!
-- allowing the user to determine which of those four bits of iPhoto info are included in the Captions for any kind of online album. It's crazy that right now I can't put up an iWeb photo page that automatically includes the Comments I've taken the time to enter in iPhoto as part of that photo's Caption online.
If iWeb wants to claim true integration with iPhoto, then this feature seems like a pre-version 1 no-brainer.
    2) "Open in New Window?" option for Hyperlinks.
When designating some text or a picture as a link, PLEASE give us the option to make that link one that will open in the browser's current page (the default), OR one that will open in a NEW PAGE.
That's a basic design choice which the creator of any web page should be allowed to make.
(At least with Homepage I was able to fool it by adding
    " target="_blank
to the URL I was entering, making Hompage think the addition was actually part of the URL, but causing any browser to see it as the HTML command to open the preceding link in a new window. Unfortunately I can't seem to get this trick to work in iWeb -- would love it if someone could tell me why.)
    3) User-configuarable slideshows.
When I first started using iWeb, and saw how configurable the pages themselves were, I naturally searched for the Slideshow options. Just basic stuff, like the seconds per-slide duration; the kinds of transitions; the default to change slides manually or automatically; whether to have the controls and the top row of thumbs always visible or show only when you mouse over them; whether to use the reflection effect; what color background to use; the image display size -- that kind of thing. (The kind of control offered in the shareware program ShutterBug, for example.)
You already know what I found: zilch. It almost feels like two different teams developed the two parts of the program (the wonderfully-customizable Page Creator vs. the take-it-or-leave-it Slideshow) -- or maybe they just ran out of time before the iLife '06 release, and had to throw in the Slideshow part before it was ready.
    4) Previewable Slideshows
And then I find that not only can I not customize the Slideshow in any way, I can't even preview it within the app itself -- I have to publish the page first, then "preview" it in a browser. This whole section of the iWeb app is definitely not ready for prime time.
    5) More web viewing options.
The viewer of my iWeb photo page should be able to click on a thumbnail and have it open as either an image in its own window, OR (as is the case in HomePage) as the first frame in a slideshow.
And even when it opens as an image in a separate window, there should still be the basic <-PREV and NEXT-> buttons to allow the viewer to keep looking at the full-sized images without having to close each window and then double-click on the next thumbnail.
    6) Automatic page length extension.
Would be a nice user pref to have the page height automatically adjust as new content is added, or as pix are dragged down past the current bottom of page.
    7) Space-saving Import options.
In order to conserve space on our .Mac accounts, and make for better downloading times of the photo page itself, iWeb needs to offer several Import options once the desired pics from an iPhoto Library (or just from a Finder folder) have been selected:
Let users pick whether the photos will be uploaded full-size, or automatically reduced to a user-definable maximum height and/or width.
And make sure to also have (perhaps under an Advanced tab) a sliding scale of jpg quality, with an instant feedback showing what the total file size will be at that particular setting.
These size and quality parameters should be applicable either to individual files, or to the entire Import as a whole.
    8) Tell us the URLs.
Simply mousing over a page or site name in the Site Organizer pane (or right-clicking on same), should reveal its full URL as currently published, and allow you to easily copy that URL to the Clipboard (and in turn Paste that URL into a document or an e-mail).
I know the iWeb URLs all follow the same naming pattern, but why not make it easier for us to access and Copy/Paste those URLs, instead of having to "figure them out"?
    9) Make the Text Boxes easier to see and to move.
Right now a newly-inserted Text Box is virtually invisible, and until you actually type some text into it it's bloody hard to grab a hold of.
I'm hoping most of these features have already been incorporated into the next release of iWeb -- and if not, that you'll give serious consideration to implementing all of them as soon as possible. Your users will thank you!
    John Bertram
    Toronto

This is a user forum, so we can't help with this! You
can provide iWeb feedback in the File menu of the app.
Indeed -- hence the very first line of my post:
"Just sent the following to Apple's iWeb Feedback; figured I'd post it here as well just for the heck of it..."
Also why I didn't post it as a Question seeking help. Nevertheless, thanks for pointing me both to your site and the RowanCottage one. I'll check out all the iWeb tips on both.
    Meanwhile...
    2) "Open in New Window?" option for Hyperlinks.
    Here's how to do it:
    http://web.mac.com/varkgirl/iWeb/Varkgirl/Open%20links
    %20in%20new%20window.html
Let's hope that any of these workarounds will soon be a thing of the past. I have to believe that the iWeb team has realized by now that giving the user (i.e. the iWeb page creator) the option to designate how each and every link should open (same page or new page) is such a basic, obvious feature that it MUST already be implemented in the next iWeb, and is only awaiting the release of iLife '07 -- or whatever the next iLife suite will be called.
    6) Automatic page length extension.
Would be a nice user pref to have the page height
automatically adjust as new content is added, or as
pix are dragged down past the current bottom of
    page.
    Um, it does this already.
Then I must be doing something very wrong. I just tried again -- grabbed a graphic, dragged it down to the bottom of the page so that half of it was now out of site, let go and voila -- nothing. "Content Height" in the Page Inspector didn't change one pixel.
Even the "Creative" at the downtown Toronto Apple Store -- who I happened to see giving an iWeb demo/workshop the other day -- said the only way to extend the page length was to add a larger value to the Content Height box in the Inspector.
But I'd still love to know if there's a more intuitive, hands-on kind of way.
    9) Make the Text Boxes easier to see and to move.
Turn on "Show Layout" in the View menu
I already did. My point was that even with "Show Layout" on, the faint grey text box that first appears is often hard to see, especially against certain backgrounds. Interestingly, that same Apple Store staffer made the exact same observation (with no prompting from me), and also commented on how the initial blank text box was also tricky to grab and reposition -- he said he always just types some random garbage text first, THEN moves the now much more easily grabbable text box to where he wants it on the page.
Anyway, I felt at least a little vindicated to hear an Apple frontline employee share a couple of the same little annoyances that had been bugging me just a few days earlier!
    Cheers,
    John Bertram

  • Font (times) not showing up in Dreamweaver, not in preferences font list

I'm on a computer using 10.6.8, Snow Leopard and Dreamweaver CS5. When we apply a style of Times New Roman to the text, it remains in it's default state (sans serif). When we apply a font family style, including times and a default serif font, the font still appears sans serif. This makes it seem like dreamweaver thinks the font it has is times, or it would default down the font family chain. When we preview in the browser the correct times new roman font is used.
I thought it might be all adobe apps, but photoshop and illustrator display times just fine.  We've validated the font in font book, cleared up duplicate problems with other fonts in font book. We've used onyx to clear the font cache several times. After clearing the catch dreamweaver goes into some kind of font routine and takes about 15 minutes to get out of it. When I sample this process from activity monitor I see it running tons of font related routines. One time after this routine the correct times new roman font appeared! But after a program restart it disappeared again. Please help! We've spent hours already on this yesterday and am not looking forward to losing another half day today!

In addition to onyx I've also used the recommended "Font Finagler" application for clearing the font cache and working with fonts. It and font book both seem to validate and approve the times new roman font.
I logged in as another user and experienced the same problem.
In addition, I have a host of other fonts in the aphabetical ti-uvwxy range, and none of them show up in my font list in the system preferences font drop down. "Times", the first fallback font for the font family is within this missing range as well and does not show up. I know this list is for choosing the system fonts for the interface but I think it further points towards there being some kind of bug or problem with loading my entire font list into the application.
Again, these fonts work fine in the other adobe applications, just not in dreamweaver. I'll try and upload an image of the font list. You'll see it cuts off right at fonts that start with "th" even though I have loads of other fonts between t-z.

  • Fonts not appearing in CS3 program font lists

Certain postscript fonts (ZapfDingbats and Rubino Sans) are correctly installed in Windows 7 and available to Microsoft programs (Word and Excel) but not to Adobe programs. That is, they do not appear in any of the CS3 Design Standard applications (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator) font lists when the application is open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the fonts and CS3 to no avail. I have added shortcuts to the Common Files/Adobe/Fonts directory to no avail. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I assume by PostScript fonts you really mean Type 1 fonts. (TrueType and OpenType fonts are every bit as much "PostScript fonts" as Type 1 fonts are!)
There is a known problem with the CS3 applications with all Type 1 fonts under all Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit versions when such fonts are installed in the Windows System Font directory. The problem is fixed in CS4.
The workaround is to copy all the Type 1 font files (both the .PFB and the .PFM files - each Type 1 font has one .PFB and one .PFM file) to the Creative Suite's private font directory. Depending upon the CS version, that may be in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
                   or
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
Restart the Creative Suite programs you are using and the fonts should appear.
You may also copy said fonts into the private font directories of the individual applications (typically a directory path ending with the node name Fonts.

  • Helvetica Neue PostScript fonts not appearing in font list

Just curious if anyone else out there on a Mac (I'm on 10.5.8) is having trouble with Helvetica Neue (or any other System fonts) being accessable from the Fireworks CS5 font list?
I expect that I should see a whole slew of Helvetica Neue typefaces (PostScript) in my list (from 25 Ultra Light on up to 107 Extra Black Condensed Oblique) but instead all I get are the TrueType options that you see in the image below:
Also, Helvetica Neue appears in my font list twice... but both options give the identical TrueType font choices.
The crazy thing is that I can copy/paste a string of editable text from Photoshop and it will display the correct typeface AND maintain its editability within Fireworks CS5 but, the second drop-down menu appears blank. It's almost as if the system knows I have the PostScript font installed and available, but Fireworks doesn't know how to let me choose it.

I'm having this same issue. I can fix it by removing the system version (dfont) but then my browser won't show the font properly (outlines). I've got the whole creative suite and this is the only program that has this issue.
When I migrated from CS3 to CS5 this happened. Fireworks won't show the Post script version unless you remove the system font.
Adobe should use the same text/font handling throughout the suite.

  • Webfont not displaying properly in design mode or appearing in font list

Just updated Muse and now my heading webfont (Nunito) is not displaying properly in design mode or appearing in the font list. It is, however, displaying properly in preview mode. When I try and delete the font and then add it again I get an error message that says the font can't be added. Any idea what's going on?

    Hello,
Please try the steps below. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
    1. Close Muse
    2. Rename the folders named tk1 and tk2 in the following locations
On Windows: %appdata%\com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.2\Local Store. You can type this in the Path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window
On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.2/Local Store. You can type this in the Go To Folder dialog (Shift+Command+G)
    3. Launch Muse and add the font again
Please let me know if that helps.
    Regards
    Vivek
