IWeb header does not retain its altered width when publishing to a folder

I already had assistance to widen the web page header, and thought the problem was solved as below:
I want to use Watercolor template in iWeb 3.0.4 but when I widen the page the full image does not follow.  Is there anything that can be done?
iMac 7,1 Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 2.4Ghz
This solved my question by Roddy  on Apr 6, 2012 1:04 PM
If, for example, you mean the header background image you would need to go into the iWeb package contents and replace the image with a wider one.
Here's an example of a page that's the "standard" 980 px wide instead of the iWeb default of 700px.
Control click the iWeb application and select "Show Package Contents"
Drill down through Contents/Resources/Themes
Control click  "Watercolor.webtheme" and "Show Package Contents"
Open the "Shared" folder to get the image
I used EasyCrop to crop and resize the image to 980px X 90px and replaced the original with this wider one.
However, when I publish the site to a folder, the old size is retained.  I have created new pages using the new enlarged header, but alas it is not retained when I publish.
I have noticed the privileges of the altered file have changed. Originally it was assigned to be read by Wheel. But as soon as the file is altered, Wheel no longer exists.  Could this be the problem?  Is there a work around?
Thanks

Is there a work around?
you can change it with javascript:
http://temp.cyclosaurus.com/revolving/1px_line_border2.html
copy the code in my page.
add an html snippet to your page, paste in the code, click apply button.

    I am using CS6 and when I go to save an image for Web the image does not retain its quality. The first week I did this it worked just fine and now the images save very pixely.
    Here is a screenshot of my image on the artboard as I am editing it
    Here is a screenshot of the image as I'm trying to save it for Web
    As you can see, the image becomes pixely. I have tried to save it as every type of png and jpeg but nothing seems to work. I have no idea why it has started to do this. Please help!

    Change None to Art optimized then click apply(alteast in CS5 there was an apply, believe they removed that in CS6 as so many people missed that part).

  • SSRS Table/Row Header does not repeat on every page when exported to PDF

    Hi, I have a SSRS Report in which the rows are grouped and the Tablix has a Table/Row header. I wanted the header to repeat on every page for a group because sometimes the data from the group would be more than one page.
                                   To achieve this
                                   - I went to Advance mode by clicking the arrow next to column group
                                   - Selected the Header Static column from Row Group
                                   - Changed the following properties
                                                    - KeepWithGroup: After
                                                    - RepeatOnNewPage:
    True
                                                    - The header columns
    are set to not grow.
    The problem only occurs when the nested grouped data in one of the columns goes over a page. The following pages don't have any header.
    So half of the time the header row repeats but when the nested grouped data extends over one page the header does not show. Problem only occurs when rendered to pdf.
    I found this line "Headings are repeated on each page only if there is sufficient room" in SQL 2008 version. But I could not find it in later versions of sql server. So does that mean it is fixed

    Hi Mumblesnz1,
    According to your description, you specify value of RepeatOnNewPage as True in the report. When exporting the report to PDF, one grouped data extend over one page, and tablix header display on first page, not repeat on following pages.
    As we tested in our environment(SQL Server 2008(SP3)-10.0.5520.0(X64)), it works as you required. We set KeepWithGroup as After and RepeatOnNewPage as True. After exporting to PDF, the grouped data display on two pages, and tablix header repeats on each
    page. Since we haven’t found any document mentioned this issue is fixed on which version, I suggest you try to install the service pack 3 for sql server 2008.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • Uploadedfile does not retain its value

    Hi,
    I am using the following to upload a Excel file:
    *<af:inputFile label="File to Upload" columns="30" value="#{backing_dataUpload.file}"/>*
    Here is how I 'put' save the file for later use, in hte sesion:
    **public void processExcelHeader() {**
    UploadedFile file = getFile();
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewScope().put("uploadedFileKey",file);//
    Here is how I retrieve it:
    *public void beginUpload() {//=======TBD=======*
    UploadedFile uploadFile = (UploadedFile)AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewScope().get("uploadedFileKey");
    if (uploadFile != null)
    *try {*
    ProcessExcelWorksheet pexcel = new ProcessExcelWorksheet();
    java.io.InputStream in = uploadFile.getInputStream();
    PROBLEM is the value java.io.InputStream in returns NULL. PLease note that the scope tof the Bean is 'Session'.
    I Looked into the debugger the 'uploadFile' in hte beginUpload() has all the entries except the 'buffer' is NULL, and hte length is zero.
    Please note that after the out there is some processing and the control exits back to screen, and on pressing another Command Button it returns to the
    beginUoload() function.
    Any Ideas......
    Thanks......

    Anil:
    No, I don't think the 2 backing bean method is out of scope. I guess the framework implicitly close the stream in the first event handler. Because the framework might think you're done with it. After all the Session scope is the second largest scope and only shorter than Application scope.
    The behavior may be related how the framework dispatch the servicing back bean to handle your event. Even thoug it might be using the same backing bean instance, the framework may clean it up after the completion of each round of servicing.
    Your probably need to put the instance of the opened InputStream into ViewScope so that the inputstream will not be closed since it is still referenced. But you need to remember to close it after using in the second method which is beginUpload().
    So in
    public void processExcelHeader() {**
    UploadedFile file = getFile();
    InputStream is = file.getInputStream();
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewScope().put("uploadedFileStream",is);//
    Then:
    public void beginUpload() {//=======TBD=======
    InputStream inputStream = (UploadedFile)AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewScope().get("uploadedFileStream");
    inputStream.close();
    If you don't close it after using, you should experience serious memory leak.
    Good luck,
    Alex

  • Sometimes my phone does not make its usual noise when I wake it or put it to sleep what should I do?

    When I wake the iphone 4 up it makes the wake up click noise and then other times it doesn't and then when I touch the button to make it go to sleep it makes the turn off click noise and then other times it doesn't - how do I fix this? as it's only been doing it for the last 3 weeks or so and nothings happened to the phone so I have no idea whats going on.....

    How long have you had your phone? Because if you've had it a long time, the battery in the phone might of died on you. Or have you dropped it in water, snow, from high up? All those things could of disconnected something internally in your phone, or permentaly damaged the internal hard drive its self, or the sims card.

    dubwai, I am sure you doubt the programming solutions
    that I come up with BUT while I run into many problems
    to get the results right it seems like that has to be
    done what the man has to do!I don't doubt it. I'm 100% absolutely sure that your 'fix' doesn't change anything.
    Let me explain line by line:
    tempToken = tokZ.next();   //  do Not convert do Not cast, keep it as ObjectThe Object is what it is. Casting the Object doesn't change it. All it does at runtime is check to see
    that the given Object is String or what ever you cast it to: Try the following:
    Object o = "test";
    String s = (String) o;
    System.out.println("o and s are the same Object? " + o == s);
    tokZorRetD = (String)tempToken.toString();  // Now, convert and cast
    // would that have to do anything with StrongTyping?Given that your previous code was not throwing a ClassCastException, the Iterator is already
    a String. Calling toString on a String just returns this:
    String s = "test"
    System.out.println("s.toString returns s? " + s == s.toString());Also, toString returns a String. There's no need to cast a String to String.
    And if s is null (which it appears to sometimes be) calling toString() will throw a NullPointerException.
    In short, if your code has been fixed, it was something else.

  • Safari does not retain Full Screen state

    Yosemite: version 10.10 (14A389)
    Safari: version 8.0 (10600.1.25)
    Safari does not retain Full Screen state when opening, or re-opening, quitting and restarting Safari, or rebooting the computer, even when the last state was in Full Screen.
    Under Lion, this did not happen. Safari would always keep the last state used even after quitting, or rebooting the iMac.
    In God's Harmony

    navigate to your Users Library folder ( it is hidden , so use Finder's "go to folder" menu ) , then locate inside the Library folder "preferences", search for com.apple.safari and delete the plist you find for Safari.
    then restart Safari and it should present all new Lion Options.

  • "Quit" in ITS Header does not work properly

    Hello,
    we have a self-made ESS Service in use (http://itshost:port/scripts/wgate/zmfa/!). In this service the "Quit" Link in the ESS header does not work.
    When we start e.g. the pz04 transaction on the ITS (http://itshost:port/scripts/wgate/pz04/!) the "Quit" button does work properly, and ends the ITS Session.
    I already tried to set the ~exiturl to a close_window.html file, but still it doesn't work in the self-made service.
    This line is included in the service:
    `include(~service="system", ~language="", ~theme="dm", ~name="TemplateLibraryDHTML.html")`
    I guesss changing the templatelibrarybasis.html won't work, since the pz04 also uses this template, and there it works. We don't want to remove these "Quit" and "Help" links in the header, since they are still being used (due to older Release of R/3, no Portal App).
    It's a standalone ITS 6.20, latest patch, newly installed.
    Anybody have an Idea?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Daniel

    Usually the profiler gives higher execution times than is true, since it is using resources itself. Make sure the profiler is started before starting the program (while in edit mode vs run time mode). Wait for the completion of all vis, then stop the profiler.
    Of course, the sub vis may actually execute faster than the profiler can discriminate (eg faster than a microsecond), which happens frequently.

  • IWeb continuously does not respond to commands.

    iWeb continuously does not respond to commands and I end up having to force quit.  I cannot update my website, I can't do anything with iWeb anymore.  What should I do? Help!

    Try the following:
    delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
    go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
    launch iWeb and try again.

    What model iPad do you have? If it's an iPad 1, the battery may have expired and needs replacement.

  • Loans document error Document header does not have a reconciliation key

    Hi All,
    I am trying to post a loans document through EK25 and while saving the document following erros is coming
    Formal error: Document header does not have a reconciliation key
    Message no. >0037
    Diagnosis
    You tried to post a document but a reconciliation key is missing from the document header. Since mass processing does not apply here (where the reconciliation key is automatically created) you must enter a reconciliation key.
    System Response
    Error message. Processing is terminated.
    Procedure
    Contact your system administrator.
    Procedure for System Administration
    If the program error occurred in an
    SAP standard program, enter a problem message
    Own program, correct the program
    Any input appreciated.
    Thanks,
    VR

    Hi,
    You need to assign the reconcilation group to the SAP user ID you are using to post the loan document.
    The reconciliation group is required if user-specific reconciliation keys are to be proposed automatically.
    The reconciliation group is freely selectable.
    Go to the following path in IMG-
    IMG->Financial Accounting->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->Basic Functions->Postings and Documents->Document-.Define Default Values->Maintain Rules for Reconciliation Key Default Values->Maintain Reconciliation Groups for Default Values
    Maintain the SAP User ID that you are using along with a reconciliation group.
    After, you maintained the user ID and saved it, try to post the loan document again.
    Hope it helps..
    Thanks,
    Amlan

  • Why does iPhoto (9.0/11) not retain the Event name when exporting more than one event? (using File - Export - Album name with number).

    Why does iPhoto (9.0/11) not retain the Event name when exporting more than one event? (using File -> Export -> Album name with number).
    Exporting a single Event retains the Event name which is what I'd expect. But highlighting more than one event and exporting it renames the images to Events 001.JPG, Event 002.JPG etc.
    I was recently on holidays and had all my events nicely split on Dad's computer but when I went to export it I couldn't retain any of this information. Now I have to replicate this all again on my computer.
    It wasn't possible to export the entire library as the external drive was fat32 format an I didn't want all of it. It would be nice to export a bunch of events to someone and have it retain the name.
    Does anyone have a work around or will this be fixed at some point by Apple?
