Jdbc adaptor picking the messages at same time.

hi,
there are 5 messages blocked in status Delivering are blocking the 5 JDBC Threads allowed at the Adapter Engine itself. Even if I allow a bigger number of concurrency messages it will not change the real number of simultaneous threads. You need to unblock those 5 messages to allow others to process.

I want pick the message from sender without specifing in the field Recordset structure as Recordset,* in fcc 2 file scenario

As FCC is trying to convert the format to XML..
XML need a root tag to form the structure so you cannot avoid that..

Queue sometimes not picking the message

Hi,
In my project from JCD I am calling jar methods when needed when I call methods with parameters it will create xml and keep in queue. And the queue has to process the message. Every thing is working fine but some times queue suddenly stops pickinh the message from queue. When I undeploy the preoject and deploy it again then its picking again.
Please let me why queue not picking message some times.

I am assuming you are dealing with standard SeeBeyond queues here (as opposed to MQ). And, in your case, you are saying a JCD or an activity is not picking up messages from a queue? Can you see these messages on the JMS server? What version of JavaCAPS are you using? (this does not matter much, though). What is the volume of the messages?

The days for incoming an sending mail are okay ..

Duplicate a composition layer in the timeline, at same time make new comp

Hi,
I know that in the project panel I can do Control D and make a new comp. I know that in the layer panel I can do control D and make a new layer for a different comp, which keeps all the animations I have applied to that comp.
I also know that after I've duplicated that comp in the Project Panel I can Alt drag it to the other comp in the timeline and replace, or swap the comps.
What I want is to remove a step.
I have Comp A
In the timeline I want to duplicate this comp and at the same time create a new Comp B.
What I want is to be able to duplicate the layer in the timeline, and while doing so also create a new composition which would show up in my project panel. Basically I am trying to skip the extra steps of duplicating layer, going to project panel, duplicating comp, then Alt dragging to swap them.
Is there a shortcut for this?

You are forgetting, that pre-comps in themselves can contain any number of pre-comps inside pre-comps inside pre-comps.... You would have to find a way of taking care of those scenarios which is a major logic challenge and effort. that being so and to avoid potentially risky user operations that might ruin entire projects, it is much safer to not allow this. I would agree with Rick that a simple script that mimics the manual steps and tied to a function key is probably as good as it gets, but still, even there the underlying deeper problem still exists, so you have to work very controlled.

Am having problems with my Zeppelin music player and iPod classic. The Zeppelin, bought Dec '12, and the iPod, bought same time, used to work fine but now when I attach iPod to Zeppelin I get a message that says the iPod doesn't support the accesory!

It's still charging when you plug it in. That just means it won't play music out the speaker. If that's what you were looking to do, they have speakers for iPods.

How to generate long text of the message during run time?

I have a question like in the subject. Someone could help me with that? I need to put some kind of log after transaction execution into message's long text, so that the short text displays only some short information and long text contains detailed description of the problem, but returned by program. And the log can be long, so it is not enough to put there only some parameter.

SOAP ADAPTOR unable to pick the file

two communcation channel were inactive /un initilized status.
it seems soap adaptor is not picking the message. payload is cant read error generated.
files are not coming in to the xi system.

hi,
are you having webservice at one side,so you are using soap adapter.
If you have to pick the file only then go for file adapter only.
And make your adapter active(by default) in your communication channel.
IF still inactive then try to reconfigure it.
And do one test then it will become active or else it will be unused.

the only error that occurs when u write java RaceGame is because of the car image which compiler doesnt found and throughs exception if u place any image in ur bin folder adn name it car.jpg it wont generate error

IPad with retina is stuck on error message that iPad is unable to back up. When hit ok, the message does not go away. Cannot power down. Don't have computer to sync with iTunes. Now what?

My coworker has a fairly new iPad with retina display. She has an error message that the iPad has not been backed up and needs to back up when locked, on wifi, and connected to a power supply. It has an ok button to acknowledge the message. Every time she hits the ok button, the error message remains. She is unable to power down because the error message stays at the top and disables the ability to use any other touch portions of the screen. She tried using Siri to reboot, but Siri was of no help. She just kept saying that she does not wear boots. Holding the power button down for an extended period also did not help. She does not have access to the computer that has her iTunes on it, so she cannot sync it via cable. She also does not want to do a reset because she has several photos that she does not want to lose. What can she do?

Try holding the Home and Power keys at the same time for approx 10 seconds or until the Apple logo appears, this will 'reset' the device - it won't lose any data doing this, let us know how you get on.

Delaying the message delivery by 1 hour in XI

Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to hold the message with in XI for a specified time period?
As an alternate - I am developing a BPM where I am using wait step for 1 hour. I think using BPM for this purpose is not recommended as wait step consumes more resources.
I have gone through the Blog names 'Delayed message processing'. This procedure works well if we know the start time of the job and to pick up the messages in periodic times. It is not holding the messages to be processed by 1 hour.
Let me know if there is any other way of doing it.

Multiple Processes dequeuing messages from same queue

Hi,
I have 2 Processes that are listening on the same queue to dequeu the messages. How can i make sure each process picks the message intended for that process. What setting do I need so that each process picks the right message not all the messages.
As some messages needs to be processed by Process1 and some messages by Process2.

I would like answer to this too! The only way I can solve this is by having 2 queues.
As far as I can figure out, the dequeue just picks up the next available message. Both processes can dequeue the same message if you make the queue multiple consumer.
The processes that picks up the message can put it back if the it is not meant for itself - but this is an inefficient and potentially ineffective solution.

How multiple users can open and update it same time in Sharepoint 2010, excel file
