JTabbedPane insertTab(..) does work

Question

Hi!
I want to insert a tab while the JTabbedPanedis displayed. Means: I klick a Button on first Tab and want another tab to be inserted at position 2. But the tab is not shown, even if i try revalidate or other methods.
The only thing that works actually is to remove all tabs and re-add everything. But that is not what I want.
Could you give me an idea, hint whatever to help me solve this problem, please???

hi Kaetchen,
addTab did work for me. I made a simple class that It adds a tab when you click on a button on the first tab but maybe I didn't understand your problem...
