Jtextbox Not picking up new value

Guys, i am trying to fix a bug and havin no luck so far.
I have a
JTextField cell editable that is within a table and that in panel, etc
it has a keylistener on it. The setValueAt does not seem to work.?
Basically what happens is that when I edit the value in the box and fire a submit event, it picks up the old value already prepopulated rather than the new one i put in.
What going on? How do i fix it.

Just to say that this works when I click into another cell before I hit submit .
But when I hit submit directly after editting the cell i want to update, it doesn't pick up new value

Essbase members not picking up data values

Gurus,
I have some members in my JOB CODE hierarchies, such as 100, 200, 300 ETC.
Now I have added 100A, 200A, etc to the hierarchy. 100A is the sibling of 100, 200A is the sibling of 200, so forth.
Now, 100A, 200A, etc (the ones with the alphabet A is not picking up the values/percentages, while doing a pushdown.
Is it because of the ALPHANUMERIC member names?
Essbase allows such names right? or Do I need to change any setting/properties, etc like that?

the answer is it depends. It is not Essbase itself that would not allow those member names as all member names are really text even if they look numeric. The problem could be in your script to "Push down" data. it could be doing some match based on UDA or member format. without seeing the pushdown script, I can't determine what could be your issue. It could even be a block creation issue, but who knows.

Condition Type JSRT not picking Condition Base Value in Pricing Procedure

Hi Friends,
In a procedure System is not picking condition base value for condition type JSRT. I have checked the tax procedure and found alternative Cal Type is 17 and is working fine for Domestic vendors.
Friends i need your help in sorting out this issue. Pls suggest what I can check in order to sort out this issue.

Hello!
In TAXINN the base value for the condition JSRT is picked up from step 100.
I suggest that you change the "From" value to 100 instead of whatever you may be using
Then test the transaction once again.This will not affect your normal service tax calculation either. So please make this change & try using S1 for planned delivery cost.

Not reflecting the new value of the AWvariable

I am working with Jdeveloper and BI beans
we are using Java Analytical workspace API for connecting and saving the user input as a Analytical workspace Variable
by using fallowing code
awConn.executeCommand("awvariable=value");
here the problem is i can not made this assignment perminent in Analytical Workspace
i.e after execution of the program i checked with AnallyticalworkSpace manager's worksheet it not reflecting the new value of the AWvariable. It is showing only old value.
how can i do that assignment it from java api .

That other post looks different, though - the OP is now manipulating the model.The OPs statement of the problem was:
Adding new data to the exitsting model causes the JList to display blank when I refresh the screen.
The suggestion in the other posting was to change the model not the array and the tutorial has a working example of this.
The OPs question was:
When my action performed creates a new instance of the model everything works fine but is this how it should work?
The answer to this is no, you don't need to change the model, just update the model.
So if the OP read the other posting and read the tutorial they should have an answer to their problem.
As you suggested there is no need to create a custom model. The example in the tutorial uses the default list model, if the OP read the tutorial they would know that.

Custom Manage Property does not pick up the value from mapping crawl property

Hi All,
I have created a custom list with the column name that's called "category".
Then I ran full crawl and I saw the "ows_category" crawl property is created.
Then I create the manage property names as "Category" and map with the "ows_category" and run the full crawl again. (Retrivable, Searchable, Refinable options are checked)
After full crawl, I searched Category:keyword but it returned 0 result.
But when I search keyword, that list item is retuned
I tried to debug with the spsearch2013 tool and there is no "Category" manage property in the return XML.
It seems the Manage Property does not pick up value from the crawl property. (Something might be wrong with the index schema)
Do you have any suggestion?
Do I need to reset the index?

Hi Andy,
When you search ‘category’ in crawled properties(Central Administration->Search Service Application->Search Schema), you will see ows_Category is mapped to DiscussionCategory, like the screenshot:
So, I suggest you create a new column using another name, then test again, compare the result.

Oracle Payroll Costing not picking the segment value.

I am facing an issue in my Organization that when we run costing of the payroll the cost allocation segment didn't get the correct Project Segment value.
Our cost allocation key flex segments and qualifiers are given below:

**AKS_HR_PROJECT Qualifiers Assignment,Balancing,Organization,Payroll**
**AKS_HR_DEPARTMENT Qualifiers Balancing,Organization,Payroll**

**AKS_HR_SUB_ACCOUNT Qualifiers Balancing,Element,Element Entry,Organization**

The costing didn't pick the AKS_HR_PROJECT segment value and some times it pick '00000' which is actually not the project code. Some times the other segment like AKS_HR_DEPARTMENT and AKS_HR_SUB_ACCOUNT pick the null value in costing.
Kindly Help because its the issue of Live environment.

From where I check that the SLA is enabled? because I am new and not the part of implementation.
When I check the assignment process of the employee its shows the costing data but the value of project segment not sowing properly.
The qualifiers set for the project segment is as follows:
Assignment,
Balancing,
Organization,
Payroll
I saw some employees has given 00000 in the project segment on employee level. when i delete the record from employee level, the costing has to pick project segment from organization level but when I run the costing and saw the costing from assignment process screen it again shows '00000' in the project segment.
Please guide me if I am doing any thing wrong.

Standard manager is not picking up new requests 1533 requests are pending

Currently we are in R12.1.3 with DB 11.1.0.7 on RHEL 5
Suddenly Standard manager is not picking up any new requests actual and target are same but pending requests count reaches 1533 also conflict resolution manager actual & count is same but pending requests count is 219.
We can find some error messages as follows in the manager logfile of Internal manager log file as
"Found dead process: spid=(32711), cpid=(64450), ORA pid=(17), manager=(0/1)" apart from this message there is nothing error in standard manger log file as well as cCRM logfile.
even we checked alertlog file also nothing error message all mount points having free space,Please help us it is on PROD Instance

Schedule and Items program is not picking the new Billing lines created PN

Hi Gurus,
I am using version 11.5.10. I am populating the data into Property manager billing lines of lease thru API.
Once the Lines are inserted I am calling the Schedule and items program to for authorizatio.
My program is not picking up lines created thru API, I am trying copying the same line and inserting in billing tab and it works fine.
Looking forward to your suggestion/solution....

I don't know but I think you call of the Schedule and items program is in a new session.
Then you must commit the data before you call the Schedule and items program

UIInput will not refresh with new value

I have the following JSF component

in a onchangeevent in another component I have the following

evententryfee is updated but the new value is not displayed by the component
How do I refresh the display to show the new value ?

Why do you use the component binding instead of a normal value binding?
You can write
<h:inputText id="entryfee" value="#(entryform.entryfee}"/>
Anyway, a component binding does not overwrite the attribute whichi is explictly specifed by the tag.
So, if you insist to use the component binding, you can write
<h:inputText id="entryfee" binding="#{entryform.evententryfee}"/>

In KP26 excel uploading not happening with +new values+

Kp26 the users is doing thorugh EXCEL upload
wants to update NEW activity values even if Costs already posted ?
But manually we are able to delete the values and update, but for large employee turnovers
we cannt do it manually, so they are looking for update option which will
erase the current data and update the fresh ones?
the following error message appears when we try with delete button?

Procedure
First reverse the posted record under cost element SEC_ACT_CO.
Alternatively you can set all fields to zero in the plan record you have just selected. This corresponds to a deletion of the activity types/business process quantity planning on object 5000010114/LE6047.
If the message appears several times in the error log, it could be that the actual records were posted under different transaction currencies. In this case, you must delete them all.

But in our case the while we checked periodwise values are not the difference which are getting posting
rather 100 is getting multiplied with the old values.

The Jtree is not refreshing with new values when mouse click on the node

I am creating a tree from a vector .The values in the vector is coming from the JTable data after satisfing the some condition. But the data in the Jtable is changing time to time so the data in the vector is also changing .
But the problem is that when first I create a tree with that data the tree is created but for the next time I click on the tree node the tree is not changing i.e. it is not created with the new values that is stored in the vector at that time .what to do .Please help
I am using DefaultMutableTreeNode for creating the tree .In starting I have created one root and the one it's child .Now the next subtree of the root child have to be created by this vector data. this subtree should be updated according to the values in the vecter.

Well, you can either use a custom TreeModel that tracks your Vector, or you can use a DefaultTreeModel and call model.reload(node) to refresh the tree below the specified node.

[Solved] grub-mkconfig not picking up new kernel

Hi,
I compiled the linux-lts kernel from source today, woohoo! First time compiling from source. Fun!
I followed the Kernels/Compilation/Traditional - Archwiki. No problems at all in the Build Configuration and Compilation & Installation steps. The issue is that when I try to add the new kernel to grub.cfg
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub.d/grub.cfg
it does not pick up my new kernel. Here's the contents of /boot:

Trigger is not updateing the :new value in the table

I've greated a row trigger that will trigger on insert statements.
The last thing the trigger will do is to update the :NEW.role_id value in the inserted row, see the trigger bellow.
The trigger was mutation so I had to add the 'PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;' to avoid the mutation error.
When performing test with controlled insert statements the trigger is working without problems, but when I my J2EE application is inserting rows to the table the role_id value is nog updated, see the trigger below and the :NEW.role_id := nRole_id; part. The role_id for the new row is empty. What can be the problem?

I only get a empty column that include now data. The first insert is working correct so I know that the role_id is valid and working. Can there be problem with commit or my AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION running this from JDBC ?

When inserted from the application the role_id is empty and I've taken the same SQL from the library cache and run it with same BIND variables and then it's working.

IPod resynchs when A LOT of unchanged songs, does not pick up new playlists

My 60 GB iPod classic crashed big time, requiring me to reset it and reload 10K+
songs. (I only use the iPod for music.) The reloading process was of course a
slow and painful one, with perhaps 10 or so interruptions where a file could not be
read. But I could always pick up again. Now, it seems that all songs but one have
loaded from my iTunes library to the iPod. (I keep getting a message that the iPod
cannot be resynched because there are two songs with the same name or some
such thing. Any idea what that is?) Anyway, it keeps chugging away and finally
says synchronization is complete, okay to eject. So I eject, wait until the do not
enter is gone from the screen and detach the iPod. BUT, none of my new play
lists are there. So, I reconnect the iPod - changing nothing in the folders in
iTunes - and the iPod resynchs again, deciding it needs to reload something like
1000 songs. At first I thought maybe the time on the iPod was bad, but I checked
and that was okay. So, I am at a loss as to what to do next and would greatly
appreciate any suggestions.
One other aside question - if this iPod is permanently fried in some way,
could I just buy another iPod, hook it up to my PC, and load it with my iTunes
library. I would like to think the answer is yes, but I wonder if there is some
serial number tracking or something that goes on.

Later found some other commentary on the -69 errors and disk recovery. The comments were helpful, but my 5year old iPod was beyond hope.

Propagation not picking up new db link password

Hi,
I recently changed the password of the streams administrator (strmadmin) and realised after a short time that the propagation process failed at the other site because the password of strmadmin is hardcoded in the database link when the link is created:
CREATE DATABASE LINK db.site2
CONNECT TO strmadmin IDENTIFIED BY strmadmin
USING 'db.site2';
I dropped the link and re-created it using the new password and found that the propagation process was still failing. I left it to retry a few times with no success.
I bounced the database and propagation suceeded!!
Is there any way around having to bounce the database? My customers will not be happy with a database outage each time they change the strmadmin password.

I faced the similar issue while testing the streams.
What you need to do is stop the propagation and again start. It will resolve . No need of bouncing the database.
