Jumpstarts servers rarp response to LDOM doesn't arrive?

In my primary domain I have this vsw:
Vsw: primary-vsw0 [num_clients=1]

The mac address EXACTLY matches e1000g0
In my guest ldom I have
Vnet: vnet0

When I boot vnet0 - install..I have traced a series of events.
1. The rarp package arrives at my jumpstart server, messages seen via snoop...

4. Even the primary ldom server, sees the traffic
Yet the Guest ldom does nothing. Servers are definitely on the same subnet. vsw0 is plumbed and e1000g0 is unplumbed. I also created the following device files on the ldom primary server per some searching through various threads:

You should probably make the form in AcroForms (that is directly in Acrobat with the forms tools). For submission, you should request the data to be submitted (FDF file) to a web script on an internal server. The script can be set to submit the data to a database or many other things (not that I have done them all). The script can be done in several different languages. If you download the FDF Toolkit, you can do a lot of the needed options. Check out Acrobat Forms Data Format (FDF) Toolkit | Adobe Developer Connection.

    Anyway, as I mentioned, I don't use any sync-able email, just a very plain-jane POP email provider. iSync reports no devices and has nothing in its log, which matches my never having installed anything in need of syncing.
    The thing is, if Mail says its sending something when nothing was ever sent, that's a largish bug whether it is actually sending something or isn't, and there isn't really enough info here to know which of those are the case. Maybe Mail just displays "Sending" because an attempt to do something reasonable is timing out, maybe it does an innocuous and normal POP thing using very confusing nomenclature, or maybe it's really trying to send something which has a wrong flag or something. There isn't really enough info to know what is going on, so I was hoping someone could identify the symptoms.

    When I respond to an email hosted on the Exchange Server using my iPhone, the response indicator shows up in the iPhone but the response indicator doesn't appear in Mac OS X Mail or Outlook. It also doesn't seem to work the other way. When I respond to an email hosted on Exchange using Mac OS X Mail, the response indicator shows up in OS X Mail but not the iPhone Mail. I'm guessing this is not supported by the protocol but I'm wondering if anyone else has thoughts about this as it's a pain to not have this information propagate through the different email systems I use.

    Reading a recieved message with a POP account with one email client by itself does not prevent the message from being downloaded and read with another email client. The iPhone's Mail client does not include an option for removing messages from the server when downloaded with a POP account as is available with an email client on your computer such as the Mail.app.
    A problem with a POP account is only one email client at a time can access the incoming mail server for new messages and download any new messages. If a 2nd email client attempts to do this while another email client is doing the same, the 2nd email client will be temporarily locked out by the incoming mail server.

    I've an 'ear' file which deployed on weblogic81 on two linux machines and runs through a cron. The specifications of the two machines are identical but the process involved on one machine and on other working absolutely fine.
    The process starts with the help of a shell script.
    Can anyone suggest me what i can check to track the different responses.

    I don't understand your problem as you don't indicate how the responses differ.
    Are you running the real-time VM on one system? If not then this is the wrong forum - try finding one for weblogic.

  • LDom doesn't boot after SAN controllers replaced

    I have an LDom that was installed on a SAN volume. Both of the SAN controllers needed to be replaced, and now we get the the following when trying to boot this LDom:

    Evaluating:
    The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
    I can mount the volume directly on the host (with the LDom unbound) and all the slices appear fine. I also ran fsck, and it reports no problems.
    I can boot the LDom of the net and run an upgrade, but it still does not boot after the upgrade.

    But, that is for an LDom inside a file.

  • Adding RAM to Servers in the pool, manager doesn't see the new value.

    We recently updated all of the servers that make up our OVM Server Farm from 8G to 16G however when I click on one of the servers in the pool using the Manager it still displays the old value of 8G. One way we found to update the value was to delete and add the server back into the pool. Once we did that it displayed the new value, however I can not use that on the Server Pool Master as it will not allow me to delete the pool master node.
    I tried using the Metalink document 467663.1 to assign one of the other servers to be the pool master, but the documentation seems flawed.
    When following Scenario 3 you pretty much move all VM off the new and old pool master, remove the server you want to be the new pool master then edit the existing pool master's entry to be the new servers IP/hostname. However when I attempt to edit the server pools information the server name/IP is not editable only the machine name is.
    Does anyone know of an easier way to update the RAM listing for the server pool master? Or is there updated documentation for moving the server pool master? I'm using version 2.1.5

    You may also delete the whole Server Pool, taking care NOT selecting the various "ALSO DELETE FILES FROM REPOSITORY" options.
    I repeat, DO NOT SELECT THOSE CHECKBOXES.
    If you have running VMs that you cannot shutdown during this process, ticking the "force Server Pool Delete" box will do the trick, leaving all the VMs normally running and working in the background.
    After that, you can recreate the Server Pool, add the correctly configured Servers to it (NOW YOU'LL SEE ALL THE PHYSICAL RAM YOU'VE ADDED), and finally manually discovering all the running VMs already in the repository.
    To do this, use the "Resources --> Virtual Machine Images --> import --> Select from Server Pool (Discover and register)" option.
    Remember to APPROVE each discovered VM to see it back happily running in the main menu.
    Finally, you can eventually manually discover all the Templates you may have had in the Repository before starting this process.
    To do this, use the "Resources --> Virtual Machine Templates --> import --> Select from Server Pool (Discover and register)" option. You'll have to APPROVE in the end, too.
    This is just a workaround, I agree that there should be a "refresh" option for Servers Configurations, or at least a way to remove and re-add the Server Pool Master too.

    Great and stylish application this sharing prog. A question though :
    I uploaded a pdf-file and shared it with a friend via an e-mail notification (and link); I also sent the link to myself.
    Between the sending and the opening of the file by my friend (he has no account at the service) I changed the rights from open to restricted not knowing only users/members could open the link to a restricted file.
    He mailed me he could not open the file so I reset it to open and sent him the link again (with myself as cc). I don't know about him but I dit not get the second notification (the first link now worked without singing in).
    When I tested the sending of the same pdf to another mailbox of mine and myself in cc I got the link in the other mailbox but not in the cc-mailbox (same as the first link).
    So, once you have sent a file to a certain e-mailadress, it is impossible tot send it again ?

    - When I speak about "cc" I mean adding my own e-mail address after
    the one of the person with whom I want to share (to check whether the
    e-mail had been sent). This only works the first time. If I want to
    share the document again with someone else and put my e-mail address
    behind his/her address, the mail to myself never arrives (but the
    other person receives the mail).
    - I don't send from the desktop.

    Not sure which one but if you use for example Imap email on one system and read an email then that email will become exempt from syncing to other devices - Several members have reported similar issues well not really an issue as it's the way it's always been since before Android but after changing all settings to one settings on all devices and ticking a few boxes with the email providers settings then the problem is resolved

    If you aren't receiving the email to your rescue email address (and you've checked the spam folder on the account as well as the inbox and tried clicking the reset link again) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

  • My mail doesn't arrive instantly on my iPad 2

    I have two email accounts set up on my iPad - a GMail and an Exchange account. I'm pretty sure the iPad used to send push notifications the moment I received an email, but now I receive the push notifications (and see the email in my iPad inbox) 10-50 minutes *after* the email arrives.
    If I go to my mail and refresh manually, it gets them. It's just not getting them on its own for a while, which is, of course, extremely annoying as I rely on that little "ding!" to tell me to check my email.
    The Exchange set up is pretty new...could that be what's causing the delay? Though the delay is on receiving both Exchange and GMail emails... Is there a way to tell the iPad to check for mail more often? Or could it be the GMail/Exchange setting?

    I have now deleted my email account from my ipad and still my mac inbox seems to be frozen. I have a 'recovered' message that for some reason I cannot delete and my mail icon says '16 unread messages' but no messages arrive. Any help would be appreciated.

    My computer says the original files to my songs on itunes can't be found
    This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
    Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
    Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
    If iTunes has broken entries for the missing tracks then it won't transfer the corresponding tracks from your iPhone or from your Purchase History. If you cannot locate the tracks anywhere, you can delete the entries and transfer/download them again if you are not worried about ratings/playlist membership etc. If these thigns are important to you then there is probably a way to download the media to a new libray, then reconnect the old library to the freshly downloaded tracks, e.g. with FindTracks.
