Just upgraded my 2009 iMac (3.06 Ghz, core 2 duo $GB 1067 Mhz DDR3) to Mavericks OSX 10.9.5 and my HP6100 printer no longer works, when I try to reload the software it says PowerPC apps no longer supported. Printer says the software was improperly installed. Is there a way to use my HP6100 Printer with Mavericks or do I need to go back to Mountain Lion or Snow Leopard?

It's not clear whether your printer is included in the Apple list - there is an Officejet 6100 and a couple of other types. Go to the page linked to above and use the browser search for 6100.
I'm afraid HP are notorious for not supporting older printers - I had the same problem. Probably they hope you will buy another printer (I did, but it was a Canon). I did look on HP's site and couldn't see a driver - you could give it a try (make sure you have the exactly correct printer name):

Alternatively ou could try Gutenprint (open source software):

I found it would indeed drive the printer, but the colour dithering wasn't very satisfactory and the duplex printing bolt-on wouldn't work. However as Gutenprint is free it's worth trying to see if it's any good for you.

You already have the software installed that you need if you have 10.8.2.
If AirPort Utility cannot find the Express, that is another matter. More software is not needed. More troublehooting is needed.
Power up the Express for a full minute
Hold in the reset button on the Express for 7-8 seconds and release
Allow a full minute for the Express to restart
Click the AirPort icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Look for a heading of New AirPort Base Station
Just below that, click on AirPort Express

Problem solved. Copied latest file of iTunes Library.itl from Previous iTunes Libraries and replaced it with the original in Music - iTunes-folder.

I am having a DNS problem with my computer. My laptop connects to the internet and my skype works normally but when i try to surf the web it says "DNS Look up failed".

This problem only occurs when with the internet at my house. whenever i connect elsewhere my computer works normally. My ipod, iphone, tablet and other friends computers work normally when they are connected to my internet. i use dmy neigbours nework a couple of times from my house and it wrks normally.
Also when i turn my laptop on or off i can browse for a few minutes or seconds before it fails again. My skype works like there is no problem

I have tried changing the DNS, i used open DNS and google free DNS and it still didnt make a difference.
I have rebooted router many times, nothing

I backed up my computer, resored everything it to factory setting and put everything back on; still nothing
Run a diagnostics at 'Best buy' and they say nothing is wrong; but i know there is something wrong with the DNS

You are correct. Syncing should transfer any purchased media, including videos, from your device to your iTunes library provided your computer is authorized for the Apple ID used to make these purchases. I am having the same problem - the install crashes around 40%.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.2 and purchased Acrobat Pro monthly subscription. The error message is:
'Acrobat installer has encountered an unexpected failure. Please try again. If it continues to fail, contact Adobe support.'
I have tried several times but keep getting the same error message. Any ideas?

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Audiobooks purchased from Audible.com. They play on iTunes on my computer. They have been playing on my iPod Classic until two days ago. Did you recently deauthorize a bunch of computers? You can only deauthorize all once year.

- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
