KANBAN ; In-house : working with plnd ord/mrp - 0005

Iam working on kanban in house production as the replensihment stratergy, i chose option 0005 (woring with planned orders/mrp). I had created the kanbans, triggered replenishment for a kanban, converted the planned order to prod ord, released it, carried out goods movement. Then i change the status of kanban to full( there is a minus sign on kanban saying that seperate GR not carried out,in control cycle i chose sep GR) When i try to withdraw quantity from kanban it says actual qty does not exist in kanban ( i still have the minus sign on kanban saying that sep GR is not posted - i did GR posting once by co15 and the other time thru MIGO), so NOW i changed the kanban status to empty and reversed the empty status to full by using pk31, the reversed kanban bin which is now to status full does not have the minus sign and it says that there is an actual qty of X, NOW i can use pk31 to withdraw qty from kanban...... .....
iam not sure why this occurs or am i missing some information. ...any suggestions why this is happeningh.. ......... .is working with planned orders only for rep mfg or its also for discrete mfg ??????

I have tried resetting it, ive restarted my browser etc. I tried to erase all data from my Ipad but I can't do that because it needs to sign into my Apple ID and use the Internet!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

My hdmi tv works with every device in our house, bar my £2000 apple laptop. Why???

I usually work in my office, which has a couple of monitors plugged in via the miniports, but occassionally I would like to work in the house. To do this, I would like to use our second TV, which has an HDMI connnection.
This TV is used for various other devices, including a DVD player, an Xbox and a PS3. So why does it not work with the darn laptop?
And it's not the connection that's at fault on the laptop, because it works with my other HDMI TV.
Come on Apple. Look after your customers and at an absolute minimum have some kind of official notice to make your overpaying clients feel like you have the smallest amount of compassion. Instead, all I read is post after post of unhappy clients who are doing some overly fiddly tweaks to try to make things cooperate.
This is poor and you should take up the responsibility and sort it!

RESPONSES:
1)   When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2)   I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3)   So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. Generally incase of working with purchase orders of External Procurement Strategies the Purchase order will trigger after KANBAN bin set to empty.
But my requirement is to generate purchase requsitions instead of purchase order after KANBAN set to empty .How to arraive it?

Are the other iPods models, same version as yours. The 2 New FM Tx may need a new iPod software, which you can update via iTunes.

Does Oracle OSFM work with standard MRP in R12.1?

We are in R12.1.3. I read in the OSFM User Guide that Lot Based Jobs don’t work with ASCP and a comment about OM and Oracle Projects. We are currently using standard MRP. Yesterday i came to know that OSFM will not work with standard MRP. Please let me know if there is a way to make OSFM work with Standard MRP.
We don't have ASCP and are not planning to implement it for this requirement.

The static INIT() functions were added to the ORDIMAGE/AUDIO/VIDEO types
in 8.1.7 to make it easier for applications to construct an ORDIMAGE/etc
object. Given a simple table, eg:

RF is a minefield, but one that I have worked in for ages, the most critical factor in my experience is location, location, location!
Better routers have more intelligently designed antenna systems, output power as I said is the same, radiation pattern (coverage) is dependent on antennas and physical location more than all other factors.

Currently have house wide wireless network and using external HD (USB) for time machine. HD broken. would Time capsule work with current routers etc or make them redundant?

I currently have a large house wide wireless network and I am using a dedicated Buffalo HD with USB for time machine. The HD has gone bad and can't be repaired. I am thinking of replacing it with a Time Capsule. Will this fit in with my current routers etc, render them redundent ? I THOUGHT THAT THE HD I BOUGHT WAS OF GOOD QUAILTY BUT IT HAS BROKEN AFTER 2 YEARS. HOW LONG CAN ONE HOPE FOR A TIME CAPSULE TO LIVE (USING QUALITY SURGE DEVICES ETC) ? Does one need to backup the backups?
ALSO: Is ther e any way to back up from Time Machine off site ( mobile me etc) in case the house burns down?

Your best bet is to make your TM partition 2-3 times the size of the amount of data you anticipate backing-up. Most any drive will work with Macs, and Time Machine.
If you're going to put a "bootable clone" on it, be sure it's a bootable drive. Most PPC Macs can boot only from FireWire; most Intels can boot from F/W or USB. But note the disclaimer that they don't support it +*at all.+*.

Ok Start with going to System Preferences > Network
In the second of the two drop downs select the method your Mac is connected to the next device "up" towards the internet.
Use Airport to a Apple Airport Base Station OR a Wireless router or modem. (Built-in Ethernet if cables or leads are used)
Select the TCP/IP tab so it is Blue if it is not the first tab.
Tell us what it says at "Configure IPv4" please.
Tell your IP which is shown under that please.
Also this screen will tell you what the "router" IP.
(in the case the word Router could mean the box that connects to the internet (modem) ).
At this point the "router" IP could be an Address from your ISP (Internet Provider). You can tell by the IP that is shown.
If from one of these groups it is from the device itself.
Anyhting starting with:
10.xxx.xxx.xxx
192.168.xxx.xxx
172.16.xxx.xxx through to 172.32.xxx.xxx
Apple's own Airport devices are normally 10.0.1.1 for instance.
A Linksys device is likely to be 192.168.1.1
Next tell us if there are two devices between your comuter and the internet (modem and router)
Tell us the make and Models please.
Next tell us anything you know about how they were set up to communicate with each other (even if this is "we just plugged them in and wired them together" as this will tell us they are in default mode).

Kanban: in-house production. relation kanban - replenishment order

Dear Experts,
We are investigating the posibilities of using kanban for in-house production. We work with production orders. I have set the test system so it works with classic Kanban and a replenishment strategy that will create PP production ordres.
The system works OK. When the KANBAn is set to EMPTY (in the kanban board for instance) , a replenishment element is generated. The relation is 1 KANBAN - 1 Production order.
Is it possible to "assign" two KANBANS to a single replenishment element (productio order in my case)? In some cases two or more kanbans will be emptied at the same time (in the KANBAN board for instance), and this would reduce the "noise" in the system.
Somehow in the documentation "PP-KANBAN" manual, inside "KANBAN control. in-house production" some other option to reduce the amount of production orders is mentioned, but not very clearly explained how to do this.

Your question is not clear to give correct feedback. Do you want to wprk with multiple KANBANS with production orders?
I am not understanding about the sentence "reduce the amount of production orders"
If you want to work work minimum production orders then you can automate the KANBAN replinishment through MRP.
