Key figure schema in CO-PA reporting

Hallo SAP Gurus,
Is there any method to copy the key figure schema created in one operating concern to other operating concern in the same client?
In our company, we have 18 operating concerns for 18 company codes.
I have created one key figure schema for one of the operating concern ( Since as per my knowledge, key figure schema can be created only at the operating concern level. )
Now, since the schema is common to all the operating concerns, I want to copy the same to the other 17 operating concerns.
Expecting your help since creating key figure schema 18 times and updating any changes is very much time consuming.
regards,
Viswanathan T R

Hi Vishwanathan,
I have a same requirement, I want to do KECP because this is asking us to give the transport request and I know when we create key figure scheme we save it under a transport request.
Did KECP help you in doing that? If not, please let me know how did you copy key figure scheme from one operating concern to other.
Thanks
Srinath

  • Key figures in Cost elemnt based report

    Dear All,
I have created a Cost Element based Report for the Project using report painter. In this same report, I want to pull a key figure(the key figure is 'remaining forecast planned costs") which is coming from cost forecasting report (Report 12CTC1 from transaction CJE0).
The issue is this 'key figure' is not available for report made in report group 6P3(report group for cost element based report). Is there anyway I can pull this particular key figure in my report.
    Thanks in advance !

Also if you're using HR data, the employee data is time dependent, so that for each employee number there are any number of records. This may be causing the aggregate reporting condition that you mentioned. In BW it's important to recognize that the master data also can play a role in how many records are returned. The infoprovider is not the only source of additional records. For example:
Employee has three records in the time range.
    Salary infoprovider has only one.
Results will contain THREE records, one for each employee record, all with the same salary record. On an aggregate basis, the salary results will be multiplied by three.
Time dependent master data can be a source of much confusion. For some HR reporting, I have created a 'most current' employee master data record that is not time dependent, and is loaded daily. I then use that for data models such as salary or other separate infoproviders.

    Hi Puru,
    Try following approach,
goto RSZELTTXT table and put your key figure name in the long text and click on execute. Get the list of all the ETULID's and go to table RSZCOMPDIR from this table for all the ETLUID's get all the list of COMPUID's and from COMPUID's you will be able to find all the reports from RSRREPDIR in which that key figure is getting used.

  • Using formulas from Key Figure Schemas

We'er using a scheme formula from a key figure scheme to calculate a key figure for CO-PA.
What will happen if we change the formula in R/3?
Will we need re-import all the CO-PA data again into BW?,
or will the new formula be copied into BW?

  • Calculate key figures are not important to reports

    Hello Experts,
How can I delete a calculated key figure from the query when the change of report query is not accessible from the analyzer?
    Thank you

If you can create a new workbook you can. Simpy right-click on "Key figures" in the BEx Analyzer, remove the specific C-KF from the displayed list of keyfigures and the save the Workbook. You should check if you have the authorization rights to save this new Workbook into existing roles, or just your Favourites.
Altering the Query is a bit more work though.

  • Key Figure values in the Bex Report are different from the cube

    Hi all,
When I tried to pull data of the cube, the values of the Key Figure 0Lotsize_cm was showing 100 EA. But when I try to run the query of the cube, then the key figure is LotSize is showing up as 500 EA. I don't understand why this is happening.
When I checked for Aggregation in the Key Figure. It shows up as "Sum" under aggregation and "Last Value" under Exception aggregation.
Could some one help me find a solution to this issue.
I look forward to hearing from the experts.
    Regards,
    S.P

    Hi Arun and  Zegion,
    Thank you for your responses.
Arun, I do not have any aggregates on the cube. I changed the aggregate properties of the Key Figure from SUM to Minimum. this has solved my problem temporarily.
the reason I am saying temporarily because this is a SAP delivered InfoObject. This is for the datasource 0CO_PC_PCP_01. When I read through the documents, it said, SUMMation for Aggregation and Last value for "Exception Aggregation" will display the value of KF as the last value and does not add them up.
Since this wasn't the happening in my query, I changed the Aggregation from SUM to Minimum.

  • Change comma and period in key figure presentation in BEx WAD reports

    Hi gurus
We run our BEx WAD reports in the SAP portal. By default the thousands separator is period and the decimal separator is comma. How can I change this so the period becomes the decimal separator and the comma becomes the thousands separator?
    Kind regards
    Erik

    Hi Erik,
you can change this by setting at user parameters.
At system, at any screen (RSA1) -> menu SYSTEM- > USER PROFILE -> OWN DATA ->  Defaults Tab, here you can change.
    and Save.
these will reflect in WAD report output.
    Best Regards.

  • Calculations for Key Figure at CUBE Level or REPORTING Level

    Hi Folks,
What are the conditions to decide whether we need to go for keyfigure calculations at infocube level or at reporting level.
How to achieve them if done at cube level.
Could anyone provide some KT with examples?

    Hi,
    I got your point.
Could you tell me how to use below mentioned formula at transformation time?
In brief the formula calculates the number of policies using field  " s endorsement type".
    Formula is as below:
SUM(CASE WHEN S Endorsementtype IN ('004','015') THEN -1 WHEN S Endorsementtype IS NULL  AND S Gross IS NOT NULL  THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)
No of policies is a calculated keyfigure.I dont have this field in my datasource.
could you tell me the steps ?

  • Change in Key figures for COPA report

    Hi
We have changed some formula using T.code KER1 for a element of Key figure scheme which is used in COPA report.
How do we find out which all COPA reports will get impacted by this change.
    Regards,
    Rams

that key figure mapping helps you to map the value fields to the std fields (the ones that are included in the std COPA content cubes.) So that you dont end up creating ur own Zfields in BI to correspond to the value fields. If you have a functional guy how can do the mapping or help u do it - go for it .... orelse you can always create ur own Z objects, so that you dont have to go back to source system to figure which IO refers to which value field.

  • Key figure data in BEx report

    Hi,
We are viewing some of the Key figure data of a particular report as ".", "$21.99MIN" etc, where $21.99 is the original value. When we click on the excel sheet cell and view in the formula bar, data is showing $21.99 correctly. But it is appearing as "$21.99MIN". In some places just"." is appearing where data can be seen in the formula bar.
Tried, converting to Formula option, with which we can see the numbers but as usual it is behaving as a normal excel sheet after applying the function.
Please suggest how to view the correct data for the report.
    Regards

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
It is a direct key figure. Two key figures in the query are displayed like this, while other KFs are displating the values as it is. Also i checked the data in Multi provider, BEx definition of the info object etc, there is no problem.

  • Remove scaling factor from key figure - still shows in Report !

    Hi all,
A key figure we use somehow had its scaling factor set to 100.
This was accidental, so I have changed the key figure to have no scaling factor and then activated it.
The query that uses this key figure still sees it as having the 100 scaling factor however.  While this is the case, I cannot set it to no scaling factor as needed.
I have tried adding this key figure to a new report and it still comes in with the incorrect scaling factor setting.
    So far I have tried,
Changed the scaling factor on the key figure to none and activated.
    Regenerated the query through rsrt
Removing the key figure from the query and then readding as well as adding the key figure to a entirely new report. Incorrect scaling setting still comes through in both cases.
Checked table RSDIKYFPRO and RSDKYF - both of which have no scaling as their settings for this key figure.
I know that I could created a restricted key figure in the query from the original and set the scaling factor to none to get around the problem, however I would like the query to see the settings in the key figure.
Can anyone suggest how I can resolve this ?
    Many thanks,
    Blair

Was there ever a solution to this problem? I, too, have noticed the same issue. The key figure properties (in my case, # of decimal places) is not inherited in the query, and the only solution was to change the kf properties directly in the query, which I shouldn't have to do. The selection of decimal places "from key figure (0)" does not work; I have to override this and select "0". Anyone seen any notes or anything to fix this?
    Thanks.

  • Report Painter - Characteristic cannot be combined with key figures

    Hi,
I have added a new field (ZZABTEI) to the report structure CCSS and using that field as a characteristic in the report. But when I execute the report, it is giving the error "Characteristic ZZABTEI cannot be combined with key figures". Can anyone help me to solve this issue.
    Thank you,
    Rekha

There no code for this. I had to add the new field to CCSS structure. Then there were some configuration to be done. Then this message is got when the report in the report painter is executed. The details of this error message is as follows :
Characteristic ZZABTEI cannot be combined with key figures
    Message no. GR410
    Diagnosis
Characteristic ZZABTEI is being used in a report with a key figure that does not match this characteristic.
    System Response
    The system cancels generation.
    Procedure
Check the report definition: the key figures used must be compatible with characteristic ZZABTEI. For examples of useful combinations of characteristics and key figures, see the SAP standard reports.
Technical explanation: The Report Writer table assigned to the report is defined as a view with multiple database tables (somewhat similar to Report Writer table CCSS) and a key figure used in the report refers to a database table which does not contain characteristic ZZABTEI.
Example 1 for table CCSS: If the 'cost' or 'quantity' key figures are used in a report (referring to tables COSP and COSS), you cannot use the 'Statistical key figure' (only occurs in table COSR) characteristic in the rows. On the contrary, using the 'Cost element' (tables COSP and COSS) characteristic is not permitted for the 'Statistical quantity' (table COSR) key figure.
Example 2 for table CCSS: If a report only displays line item data (key figures IE... or PE...), you cannot use the 'PERBL' characteristic, because it is only valid for summary data. You have to use the 'PERIO' characteristic for line item data.
    Thank you,
    Rekha
