Keywords and U_PRX_KWrd field

Hi-
Can anyone tell me how I need to format keywords in the U_PRX_KWrd field in B1 so that they work correctly in Webtools?
Which format is correct:
shoes, Velcro, ladies, womens   (comma + space)
shoes,Velcro,ladies,womens     (comma only, no space)
shoes velcro ladies womens       (space only)
Thanks,
Shelby

  • Keyword and description fields missing when add bookmark

    vers 37.0.1
In a recent upgrade I notice the keyword and description fields are missing when "bookmark this page".
When view bookmark properties in bookmarks sidebar these fields appear

You can make the fields visible with code in userChrome.css ()they have visibility:collapse).
Add code to the <b>userChrome.css</b> file below the default @namespace line.
    <pre><nowiki>@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */
    #editBMPanel_keywordRow,
    #editBMPanel_descriptionRow,
    #editBMPanel_loadInSidebarCheckbox {
    visibility:visible !important;
    </nowiki></pre>
The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the <b>chrome</b> folder in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
*Create the chrome folder (lowercase) in the <xxxxxxxx>.default profile folder if this folder doesn't exist
*Use a plain text editor like Notepad to create a (new) userChrome.css file in the chrome folder (file name is case sensitive)
*Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the editor window
*Make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
*Make sure that you select "All files" and not "Text files" when you save the file via "Save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.<br>Otherwise Windows may add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with a not working userChrome.css.txt file

  • Acrobat X and XI - SharePoint Integration - Not Supporting SharePoint Fields Keywords and Comments

    Hi there,
Only a limited number of our staff have access to Acrobat, but they all have access to Acrobat Reader X.
When users use ‘Save As’ to save PDF files directly to a SharePoint 2007 Document Library, they are correctly requested to complete SharePoint meta-data, following selecting the appropriate Content Type.
All of the required meta-data is present with the exception of SharePoint’s built-in Columns ‘Keywords’ and ‘Comments’ (both multi-line text Columns).
All of the Columns which we have defined are present, including multi-line text Columns.
‘Keywords’ is a required Column for all of our documents and hence users cannot check-in their PDF documents.
I know of others who have experienced this problem, and testing at home confirms that the problem also presents with SharePoint 2010.
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of Acrobat and Acrobat Reader XI. Alas, the issue remains.
    Thank you,

    Hi mchagar <http://forums.adobe.com/people/mchagar> ,
    Thanks for your reply!!
Because we have tens of thousands of existing items and documents which use SharePoint’s default Keywords, and many document libraries, we are keen to wait for an Adobe solution.
We are aware that we could create an additional column and copy Keywords to the new column. It is simply a large amount of work in a Corporate Environment, for no reason.
Hopefully Adobe will improve their products to include support for built-in SharePoint fields.
    We’ll wait a bit longer.

  • MS Word Web Service Interface: bad format of date and currency fields

    Hi,
I am using MS Word Web Service interface to create contract documents. However, my date and currency fields show in a strange format. Date is in"YYYY-MM-DD" format, while currencies always have "." as decimal separator (probably technical values). My user settings are "DD.MM.YYYY" for dates and "n.nnn,dd" for decimal numbers.
My workaround is to create a Z structure for WS interface with char fields and then do conversion through CRM_WST_RT_BADI->OUTBOUND_PROCESSING method. This works, but requires a lot of custom development.
Is there a way to "tell" the interface to use correct formats in MS Word without doing it all manually through custom fields?
    Thanks!
    KR,
    Igor

    Oh, indeed!
We might be closer than you think - I live close to Croatian-Slovenian border so we might pop out for a drink! But we can discuss this out of forum...
    Now work again:
Is there any documentation on possible formatting keywords? I suppose it's possible to set up decimal places, custom date formats etc.
    Cheers,
    Igor

  • LR and IPTC fields

I have been running a photoblog at Digital-Photo for over 3 years now. I have noticed that ever since I have started to use Lightroom it gave me an added value of populating IPTC fields in Gallery 2 (web gallery I use). The IPTC seems to be very broad and I would like to understand how to use properly most if not all the fields within Lightroom.
My question/request for Lightroom developers: can we get some build in selectors for many of standard IPTC fields with descriptions, please? This way I would not have to spend hours each time I get a new "genre code" etc.
Here is a neutral and work safe example of what details show up for me: abstract photograph or an air vent
Is anyone else in the community use those codes beyond Caption, Keywords and Copyright, and if so what gally applicatation are you using?

  • Script to Export and Import Keywords and Metadata

I have a requirement to mass upload and download keywords and various metadata fields (i.e. File Name, Date Created, City, Country, Document, Title, etc.) into an external database from the Adobe Bridge. Ideally it would be compatible to .txt, .csv, etc type of database format. Currently I have to accomplish this task one at a time. I have an immediate need to upload 1000 plus pictures and various text fields into my website to share with others and be able to sell my pictures online.
My immediate is for exporting the metadata and keywords.
Does anyone know of a script that is aavailable?
    Arnold

    John,
Thanks for your quick response. Below is the script I just modified this morning. When looking in the keyword field, it returns the word "undefined" for all records.
I tried that yesterday and it didn't work. When looking at the Advance file info on Adobe Bridge I see the below format which had 2 levels. All the others I used only had one. Since I am not a programmer, I need help on that part of the script.

  • Images and image field problem

    Hi
I would like the user to be able to upload an image that will be scaled proportionally to the size of the field pre determined.
I understand that options of image field: "scale image proportionally" is meant for this exactly.
For some reason, this works with images but not with image fields.
please see a printscreen I have made of the problem: same field size and same image uploaded
    thanks

In Lightroom, there is no specific location where the photos should go. You can put them wherever you want, based upon your storage needs and hard drive setup.
So, with regards to your specific question, yes you can put the photos in the same folder as where the .lrcat is located, I can't see any harm, but I also don't think you need to do the work to make that happen. You can pretty much leave your photos where they are (which is easier and less time consuming) than moving them to the .lrcat folder, and easier and less time consuming than moving them at all.
In fact, I strongly suggest you change your thought processes from "Where do I put my photos" to "How can I organize my photos". Now that you are a Lightroom user, you organize your photos from within Lightroom, not by moving them here to there, but by adding keywords and other metadata. Organizing, now that you are LR user, is not folders ... it is metadata. Searching, now that you are a LR user, is not done in your operating system and in folders, it is done in LR by searching for keywords and other metadata.

  • Importing photos from ZoomBrowser into iPhoto without losing keywords and star ratings

I have been using Canon's ZoomBrowser EX on my Windows Vista laptop. I have just bought a MacBook Air running Lion. I would like to import all of my photos to iPhoto, but when I do this I lose all of the keywords and star ratings I have associated with my many photos. Is there any way to import the photos into iPhoto while retaining the keywords and star ratings so that I can use them in iPhoto? Doing this manually would be impractical due to the large number of photos involved.
    Thanks.
    - Charlie

    Keywords:
Iphoto can certainly import them if they are written to the correct fields of the standard metadata. They key question is can your Windows app write them to the files?
    Ratings
There's no real way to share ratings via standard metadata, but if you can write the keywods, then you can quickly tag the pics with simple keywords (1star, 2star) and when imported to iPhoto recreate your rating system.
So, the question is really about your existing software and what it can do.

  • How to convert  AI file into xml having keywords and coordinates

    Hi,
I am new to AI and I am facing problem in exporting AI file.My AI file contains the Template for business card i.e. it has image and text field(static text) over it .Requirement is, the exported xml (like FXG) should have text fied attributes like x,y coordinates, font size ,style etc. and Keywords inserted in it.In SVG file I am able to export it in SVG  but it's parsing taking lot of time.In FXG I am not getting those keywords, some attributes are getting drop.Is there any way to get the XML in that format(having x,y cordinates, style etc for text field along with keywords) ??
    Thanks

If you're a developper, you should try to generate your own xml format, using Extended Script ToolKit (based on Javascript) or PatchPanel/Switchboard (based on Actionscript3).
PatchPanel and Switchboard can be found at Adobe Labs, the Extended Script ToolKit is a part of CS4.
For the documentation part, PatchPanel and Switchboard have their own documentation available in the zip file ; the illustrator javascript reference is here : http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/illustrator/sdk/AIJavaScriptReference.pdf

  • IPhoto Keywords and Tagging issues

I upgraded to Lion and have iPhoto 9.2 on an iMac.  Everytime I select a batch and change the keyword, it changes keywords to more pictures than I had selected.  If I try to change keywords one photo at a time, I delete the wrong keywords and put in the correct keyword.  When I click off the photo and back on, it adds the correct keyword but also keeps the old (wrong) keywords.  Argh!  LOL.  I quit trying to fix it because the more photos I change, the worse it gets.  Please help!

Are you trying to change the keyword in the Keyword field in the Info tray at the right?
If so then try doing it this way:
1 - select the photo thumbnails.
2 - type Command+K to bring up the Keyword pane
3 - click on the keyword you want to assign to those photos.
4 - if a keyword is blue in color and you want to remove it from those photos click on it so it's white again.

  • What happened to Photoshop CC's keyword and info memory?

Since a very early version of Photoshop, when using the File Info section, (Document Title, Description, Keywords... pretty much every field), photoshop would remember generally speaking the last 20 entries in each field. This made it quite quick to add data.
Since I upgraded to Photoshop CC 2014 (from the earlier version of Photoshop CC), this remembering feature is completely gone.
Is there an easy way to bring this back?
I am running photoshop on OSX (latest version).

It's been a few days there, so just wondering if anyone has an answer or if my question wasn't clear enough. My workload has increased enormously since I don't have my remembered keywords and fields.

  • Lightroom 2, Keywording and searching

I am not sure if I am missing a step... but when I started updating keywords some older photos. I placed in Zoo Atlanta, Zoo, and Apes. I synched the keywords and tried to use the search feature. TEXT - ANY SEARCHABLE FIELD - CONTAINS ALL and then I would put in the words I just updated.
At any rate.... no matter what I do, I cannot get the search to come up with this set of pictures.
Please fill me in if I am missing something here.
Also.... I did go to Metadata, selected this group of Zoo photos and clicked on Save Metadata to File. Lastly, I did optimize the database to see if that would help.

    Ian,
Thanks... that seemed to work. I don't recall in 1.4 or earlier that you needed to select All Photographs under Catalog to search this way.. but it appears that if you are in a year or month / year.. it will only check that folder.
    Please share your thoughts.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Keywords and Spotlight

Is there a way to have the keywords you assign to photos show up in spotlight?
I know that the ones I create in Photoshop do, just not iPhoto.
    Thanks,
    "D"

    Dana,
I can search in Spotlight for keywords I give my photos. Yours should be working too. You might have to close iPhoto after assigning the keywords to get it going. Spotlight can find my images by image name, title, keywords, and comments and even Albums (I put the album name in each images comment field)
Sometimes you have to force Spotlight to work by highlighting your library in the source column, select all, and give them a simple keyword (I use the checkmark) Wait till it is done assigning the keywords, then close iPhoto.
Open iPhoto, undo what you just did. Now see if Spotlight can search by keyword.

  • IPhoto Keyword and Descriptions

Over the last year, i have spent a lot of time scanning over 1,400 very old family photos into iPhoto 09 and have added keywords and descriptions. Now I would like to provide the enhanced pictures along with the keywords and descriptions to various family members as files on CD or DVD, but when I create a CD with the picture files (as .JPG), it doesn include the keywords or descriptions.  Is there way to include the keywords or descriptions along with the photos so they can be viewed by users who have Windows PC's or Mac's?  Thank you.

Select the photo(s) in iPhoto and export (file menu ==> export) checking the appropriate boxes to include the metadata - the selected metadata will be written to the EXIF and ITPC fields in the photo so any photo viewer can see it

created by Modesto Vega in Photoshop Lightroom - View the full discussionYou should be able to change the title, the caption, the sublocation, the city, the state/province, the country, the ISO country code, the altitude, the direction, and a few other fields. However, you cannot add keywords. It would be real nice if Adobe could add this to the Map module.
