List of error to "Save all Metadata"
Hi,
before restart my machine, when I changed the bind of the context of a custom controller, NWDS reported the possible errors also clicking "SAVE ALL METADATA";
after restart, to report these errors i must "Rebuild project".
The "Rebuild" is an operation very long, someone knows how return to the previous situation ?

Hi.
I have two tips that might relate to what you are asking.
1.
When you do changes to a webdynpro project. The changes are done in xml-file and corresponding java-files are generated.
Errors and warnings are usually derived from the generated java-files.
In some cases when the studio is restarted or interrupted so that the generation of java-files fails, you would get inconsistency between the xml-files and the generated java-files.
If you reload the project, all java-files are removed. It is also possible to remove all generated java-files manually (in the navigator tab) and then rebuild the project.
2.
NWDS or Eclipse loads all open project into memory. It's therefor advisable to have as few open projects as possible. This improves performance very much.
However, if you close a project and then open it again, Eclipse is forced to reload the project into memory. This can solve a lot of problems when you get error of missing dependencies to generated classes.
If you experience trubble with NWDS that you think should work, try the following:
closing-opening the project
reload the project
rebuild the project
remove all generated files (in "gen*" directories)

<b>Save All Meta Data</b> will automatically get enabled when there is any change in your project. If it is disabled, then it means that there are no changes made to your project. Try changing some code in you project and it will be enabled.

Code Web Dynpro Save All Metadata
Hi Experts!!
I have a problem with SAP Netweaver when I go programming in web Dynpro.
When I go insert a code in tab "Implementation", for example:
Insert this code:

In webdynpro programming u need to write ur code between the default comments given .

you cannot just delete the comments or write the code above or below the comments, if u do so your code just dissappears once u save all ur metadata.

Web Dynpro NullPointerException while saving all metadata
Web Dynpro is consitently generating an exception when I click Save All Metadata. Here is the exception text:
Plugin name: Metamodel Core
Plugin ID: com.sap.ide.metamodel.core
Method: saveAllMetaData
Message: postSave failed. projectName = IssueLoan
Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: null
It looks like it has something to do with re-importation of the model. The sequence is not clear for me.

This seems strange. When do u get this error. Do you get it when you change something to a Webdynpro component and click on Save all metadata or what.
Well if that is the case revert back the changes and try doing them again. This happens when the automatic generation of WebDynpro fails. In most cases you may have to restart your machine and then come in again.
Let me know if it is something other than the problem mentioned above. Maybe some of us would have already encountered it

Not all metadata transferred from LR 2.5 to LR 3.0
In LR 2.5, I have marked the option to save all metadata in .xpm files, and I have saved the metadata. Importing the files in LR 3.0, or telling LR 3.0 to "synch the metadata", loads most of the metadata (development settings, how many stars), but it does NOT seem to transfer which photos are picks, and which photos are marked for deletion. The problem is that those two settings are my main way of sorting the photos... Is there any way to transfer those as well?

LucaMight I suggest a route for you?
In LR 2.5, delete the photos so marked. Then with your selects, run Export as Catalog, including the negatives. (I assume you're wanting a small portion of the 40,000 images, say a 1,000 or less; otherwise, too much room will be taken up by the duplication).
Then run Import (not Import from Catalog; won't work with the beta).

Error while saving activity - it was not possible to save all objects

We are on ECC6 EHP4 and having just started to config EIC ERP, we have done some configuration and have referred to various SAP notes, the main note being 1052082 to set up case management. We have managed to create an activity but on saving we get the following messages:
Error whilce saving activity (message class HREIC_APPL - message number 246)
Activity was saved
It was not possible to save all objects successfully (message class CRM_BOL - message number 010)
We are not sure how to correct this, we have searched and cannot find anything relating to these messages, I hope someone can be of assistance.

There are list of items that dont transport or need to be updated via manual configuration such as number ranges, surveys, email addresses and several others.

everytime i try to download an app from itunes, or to 'view all' the apps listed, the error says; 'We could not complete your iTunes Store reuest. I was trying to capture a simulation when a pop-up window came with this error:
"A fatal error has occurred and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective project folders as ".cpbackup" files.Please restart Adobe Captivate."
I tried every possible solution but i am getting the same error. Even now, i am not able to open a blank project. I cleared Preferences and Cache, Restarted the system, uninstalled and re-installed captivate but the error occurs.
Please help.Having admin rights is not the same as 'Run Captivate as administrator'. For the last, right-click on the start icon for Captivate and check 'Run as administrator'. Or click on Advanced, where you can check the option to always run as administrator.
Another possibility could be a corrupt font somewhere. I forgot to ask which version you are using (exact number). -

We are facing the below error after our CRM 7.0 upgrade when we save Service ticket and IR in IC web.
The flow is unknown, some times when we create a new ticket it comes some times when we edit existing ticket comes.
Strange thing is we are unable to reproduce the same in our pre prod and also prod environment
Only our agents are able to reproduce.

You say that you upgrade your system to CRM7 that means your BADI_SAVE (or ACTIONS etc') are written with Function modules and maybe you add some new coding with BOL/GENIL.
We had some similar problem so we rewrite all BADIs ACTIONS PARTNER DETERMINATIONS etc' to work only with BOL/GENIL technology and it solve our problem.
Hope it helped or at least gave you some direction.

I have no clue what happen to my BizTalk. I checked all the below forum but m clueless why BTS not consuming WCF through Generated Items. I tried both metadata exhange endpoint and metadata file through

Does my macbook save alle the data that i have on it, when i upgrade from MAC OS X 10.6.8 to LION?
Or do i have to make a safe copy of i all?
I have alot of pictures and iworks files that i would like to still have on my mac ...

/ MikkelNot sure what you mean. If you are asking if the drive is erased when you upgrade to Lion, then the answer is, No. If you are asking if a backup of your files is made before the upgrade, then the answer is, No. You should make your own backup before upgrading to Lion.
How to Install Lion Successfully - You must have Snow Leopard 10.6.7 or 10.6.8 Installed
A. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions:
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. Then select Disk Utility from the Utilities. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.3.) if DW cannot fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall Snow Leopard.
B. Make a Bootable Backup Using Restore Option of Disk Utility:
Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
Select the destination volume from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the backup volume. Source means the internal startup volume.
C. Important: Please read before installing:
If you have a FireWire hard drive connected, disconnect it before installing the update unless you will boot from this drive and install the update on it. Reconnect it and turn it back on after installation is complete and you've restarted.
You may experience unexpected results if you have installed third-party system software modifications, or if you have modified the operating system through other means. (This does not apply to normal application software installation.)
The installation process should not be interrupted. If a power outage or other interruption occurs during installation, use the standalone installer (see below) from Apple Downloads to update. While the installation is in progress do not use the computer.
D. To upgrade to Lion:
Purchase the Lion Installer from the Mac App Store. The download will start quickly. Lion is nearly 4 GBs so a fast internet connection is essential. Download time could run upwards of 4 hours depending upon network conditions and server demands at the time.
Boot From The Lion Installer which is located in your Applications folder.
Follow instructions for installation. -
Applescript to save all open documents?

When I close Numbers, I usually have about 15 documents with changes and I have to go through "Do you want to save changes" for all of them.
I've googled and tried, without success, to get a script that saves all open documents, except for untitled ones.
Is there anyone who know such a script?

The problem was due to the fact that the script save and close the documents.
When I tested it, it was only saving them.

Using tab groups but Firefox 28.0 crashes and even can not save all tabs in archive recently
Hi. I installed tab groups addon on my firefox 28.0 (firefox portable version) and each group has its tabs. of course. Problem is that Firefox crashes when i work on a group with the tabs and even can not save all tabs in archive as MAFF recently too. When i try to save all tabs in archive as... i choose the name and hit save and wait but after some time this crashes too. Last time i saved all my tabs and groups as MAFF or other file was end of april and since then i can not save them anymore because of the crashing.
I read on the help site to delete Firefox then reinstall ect. to fix problems but I DO NOT want to erase my groups with their tabs as i chose this solution working with group tabs as it would be to hard on my cpu when i use for each group a different browser for example.
Please help me fix this problem with the crashes but without loosing my groups and its tabs as they are all important and do not wish to erase them as i use them all.

RH 8 crashes on Save All when copying content between two open projects
[Win XP SP2] I've submitted a bug report for this issue. Note that RH does seem to save the content as it's dying (a very noble act, I must say), but the behavior is bothersome.
******BUG******
With two instances of RH8 running (dual monitors), and copying content from one project to another, the instance receiving the added content crashes when you click Save All.
Steps:
1. Open RH 1
2. Open RH 2
3. Copy content in RH 2 and paste it into RH 1
4. In RH 1, click Save All
Results: RH 1 crashes (RH 2 does not)
Expected Result: RH 1 does not crashI would try another one with each of these documents.
Create a new document with 2 pages.
Name the master pages so, that their names are not conflicting with neither of these 2 document’s masters.
Delete every style in that empty document, also any swatch
No drag the pages of the first document into such an empty document.
Do the same step 1 to 4 with the second document in a NEW empty document.
Now you have 2 new documents. Take care that no conflicting master names appear.
In each of these documents create in each style panel a folder and drag all used styles in that folder.
Save both documents
Try again to insert the pages of both documents.
Otherwise, it this does not work out, could you send me via private message the files or a link. I would check it with a Debugging Version of InDesign (InDesign DEV) I can use to find errors. -
Once I have synced my Google calendar to iCal, can I turn off syncing and save all info in iCal?
I have been using Google Calendar, and syncing info from it to my Mac, iPad and iPhone. Now that all the info I originally entered into Google Calendar is on my Apple devices, can I turn off syncing it and save all the events, birthdays, etc. that were put into iCal up to this point? I have only been adding to my iCal via the Mac, iPad or iPhone for several months now, so it seems silly to keep using Google Calendar.
Unless you have backed up your iCal data, there is no way to retrieve the now missing data. To easily back up your calendar data, simply choose the Back up Database… option under the File menu in iCal.
Microsoft cautions users that deletion of the Entourage calendar in iCal—without first disabling the synchronization function with Entourage—will result in exactly the outcome you see.
If you have not subsequently synchronized with .Mac since you deleted the iCal calendar, you can selectively restore calendar files as a collection of calendars from .Mac by using the Reset Sync Data… option in the .Mac preference pane by launching System Preferences, pressing the .Mac icon then the Advanced tab, and waiting for your client list to update. Once you've done that, press the Reset Sync Data… button, choose Calendars from the drop down menu and pick the option to replace the data on your Macintosh with data stored on the .Mac servers.
