Lost all calendar appointments and facebook appointments and birthdays on my calendar
Please help, I lost all of my calendar appointments and facebook appointments, birthdays, etc on my calendar today, please help me figure out how to fix this. thank you Lisa

I have a few questions to help find you a solution to your issue:
1. Go into options > Advanced options > Default services, What is your default Calendar?
2. Were all calendar items lost, future and past?

Every backup replaces the old one, so, unless you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you can't get back your calendar info.
The only time iTunes will not replace a backup is, when you use it to restore from, this one will stay in the backup list in iTunes.

I think my wife had an old apple ID on the phone and never backs up her device. She lost all contacts and calendar events. any help?It would default to whatever account you have set for default. If you were using Exchange, it would sync to that. However, the settings for syncing are set up in iTunes. You would need to check to see what settings were in iTunes for syncing the information. It could be a supported application on the computer, or a cloud service as I said earlier.
On my personal phone, it will default to my iPhone calendar which I sync with Outlook on my computer. I can select the Exchange account if I want, but my default is what I sync with Outlook. -

Has anyone else had trouble with update 6.1.2 for I phone? After the update, I can't get back on my network (password is correct), ICLOUD doesn't transfer my downloads, nothing seems to work. It saved my calandar and address book, but lost all of my apps and music (except for a few songs, figure that out) and I can't get them back. Any suggestions?
I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. Putting in my details, turning off Contacts over iCloud (thus deleting them) and turning them back on again, repopulated my contacts from iCloud with numbers attached to them.

I have lost all my address book and iCal content on my MacBook Pro. How do I restore from my iPhone? I tried synchronising my iPhone to the MacPro but then lost all the content on the iPhone. I managed to get it back using the restore. This means the only content I have for Address Book and iCal sits on my iPhone!
Put one unique entry in both iCal & Address Book on your Mac. These entries can be fake, that doesn't matter, just make sure Address Book & iCal are not empty. Then when you select to sync contacts & calendars on the Info pane in iTunes, you'll get a merge or replace prompt. Select merge.

I synced my phone to my computer. When updated with iOS7.0.2 I lost all my contacts, photos and music. I lost everything? How can i get them back? Is there any backup?
Everything should be on your computer.
You should be syncing contacts and calendars with your comptuer regularly.
You should be transferring all itunes purchases to your computer regularly.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly.
Most especially before any update.

I have an iphone 3 and I have lost all my downloaded ringtones and music but when I sync with itunes it will not load it back on my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions?
When you sync with itunes on your computer make sure you have all the songs that you want to sync selected in the music tab in itunes when you connect your phone. Also with your phone connected click on the tones tab and make sure all the ringtones you want are selected there then sync

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

I had to have the hard drive replaced on my computer and i lost all my iTunes data and I hadn't backed up my music. can I still transfer music from my iPod to a new iTunes?
Music Rescue also works as far as restoring your playlists etc. I've used it twice, you can use the Quick Recover mode, but have to click continue trial (something like that) allot, cp. to purchase option. Otherwise diesel is right as far as restoring via your purchase history.

app store - update - purchased - all/not on this phone - select the app you want to download by clicking on the cloud next to it.

If you plug in the iPhone to your computer, any contacts ect that you synced with your computer with sync back with the iPhone when it is selected in the iTunes menu under info. Anything that was added without syncing was lost, I'm sorry. A good future solution is to get iOS 5 when it comes out this fall, so you don't need to manually sync contacts, its automatic!
