LSMW Material Upload

Hi everyone,
In LSMW to create material master, we got another .txt file to create alternate unit of measures. In our example we want to create just one alternate unit of measure, so there are two lines. First line is for base unit of measure, second is for the alternate unit.
The problem is about gross weight of alternate unit of measure. When the gross weights in the first line and in the second line are different, LSMW doesn't read the second line and doesn't create the alternate unit of measure record.
Best regards,
Kaan Özdöker

Text content 1:
154490008     ADT     1     1     3,5     KG
154490008     KL     3     1     3,5     KG
When i "display read data", there exists two BMMH6 structures.
Text content 2:
154490008     ADT     1     1     3,5     KG
154490008     KL     3     1     12     KG
When i "display read data", there exists one BMMH6 structure.
Thanks.

    Hello Ranjit,
Thanks for your generosity. I dont have any issue (FYI, please have a look at MM forum where I am one of the active contributor)
My concern is if you send any file to personal email ID then other SDNer will not get any benifits from your valuable suggestion/inputs. so instead you can sent it to SDN moderator who will help to upload the document and provide you link which you can include in your reply. (see the process in welcome and rule of engagement thread).
We all are here to help eachother, but of course we can not exclude other SDNer when giving our inputs.
    Thanks for understanding.

  • Shopping cart created for a MDM material uploaded from MARA

    Hello,
I need to create an interfase from ECC6 material master (MARA) to MDM1.0
I can not test the creation of a shopping cart for a catalogue material at the moment.
    My question is.
Someone know can confirm me if is possible
. to upload to MDM the "MARA" table
. and the SRM shopping cart will be created for a catalogue material (uploaded from MARA, ECC6.0.
AND the purchase requisition created in the back-end (ECC6) will take the MARA material number not a free text.
I think that this is possible, but what do I have to define in MDM? How MDM will reconize the material number to transfer that information from the shopping cart to the purchase requisition?
    Thank for your help.
    Cheers,
    Marta

  • Determining Source Structure u0096 for LSMW to upload Purchasing Info records?

I am trying to use program RM06IBI0 through LSMW to upload Purchasing Info records. While configuring LSMW, how do I determine the source structure? Can anybody please help me with an example?
    Thanks,
    Ketan

    hi dear
first of all record all the fields which you require through shdb including your vendor code and esokz.
    now
generate a structure for mapping the fields through table maintainence generator option.you can add any number of fields there.
actully this must include all the fields which are being fetched from the your flat file.
please revert back if u find problem.
reward points if it find useful

  • SAP LSMW to upload values against characteristics in CL20N

    Morning,
I need to upload values against characteristics in transaction code CL20N using LSMW.
I have tried batch input recording method, but I receive the error below.
The setup of characteristics is as follows:
    Plants – Upload all plants
Purchasing Groups – Upload all purchasing groups
Cost Centre – Upload cost centres specific to a strategy
Value of PR – Upload PR value specific to a strategy
Account Assignment - – Upload account assignments specific to a strategy
Document Type – Upload document types specific to a strategy
We have over 800 strategies and I need LSMW to upload the characteristics across all 800 strategies.
I started creating a LSMW program by recording the transaction CL20N, but I get the following error:
Error received "Runtime error DYNPRO_NOT_FOUND has occurred"
Please advise or send me user guide on what I need to do to successfully create the LSMW.
    See attached screen shots.
    Many thanks,
    George

    Hi George,
For Idoc CLFMAS / CLFMAS02: when updating nodes, add table for nodes OBTAB = 'PNODID'.
For CL24N recording it is the same as other LSMW recodings, use selects if all data isn't available to fill needed recoding fields.

  • Error in material upload LSMW

    Hi experts
When I run the LSMW for materials upload I am getting this error
"Idoc included in idoc packet containing an error : transfer it separately"
But when I run the LSMW for each material separately it works fine.
Please help me to sort this out.

what I usually do is run lsmw steps up to  'Display Converted Data', then use sxda to schedule and run a background job, If in ECC 6.0 system, see logs in MM90

  • LSMW, to upload material sales long text , MM02

    Hi
I have not been able to upload long the long text of the material master record related to view Sales text (see tcode MM02). The upload should use the tcode LSMW, below is the steps that I used to create my LSMW codes:
    Step 1: Maintain Object attributes

    Method: 0001
    Program name: /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS
    Program type: D
    Step 2: Maintain source structure
    I create two structures
    MAT_LONGTEXT (Material Long text)
    TEXT_LINES (Text lines)
    Step 3: Sources fields
    MAT_LONGTEXT with 3 fields: Identifier (C, 1, H), MATNR (C, 18, material), TXTID (C, 132, Text ID)
    TEXT_LINES with 2 fields:  IDENTIFIER (C, 1, I), LINE (text Line)
Step 4: Field Mapping and rule
    OBJECT:
    constant, /SAPDMC/LTXTH-OBJECT = 'MVKE'.
    NAME:
    Source: MAT_LONGTEXT-MATNR (Material)
    Move, /SAPDMC/LTXTH-NAME = MAT_LONGTEXT-MATNR.

  • LSMW - RMDATIND Upload material master

    Hi All,
I'm using LSMW direct input method (RMDATIND) to upload material master. However, I'm having issues on uploading material prices (eg: moving average price) where the format uploaded was incorrect.
LSWM Data Source I've declared for VERPR (Moving Average Price) is character with 14 Length size. Values populated in upload file is eg: 132.93.
The value been created in material master is-> 13  293,00.
Can anyone advise on this issues? Is there any wrong to input value or data source declaration? Thanks.

    Hi Blue Sky,
execute the whole process of LSMW in direct input  and go to SM35 to check and process the session manually,,
