Mail created with "Send to Mail Recipient" disappear and are not sent

I have a small setup with a SBS 2011 server (Exchange 2010) 10 users with Windows 8.1 and Outlook 2013.
One user is trying to send mails with attachments to his college´s
 but they are never send, are not shown in sent items and can not be found on the server.
The user right click on a PDF file and press "Send to Mail Recipient" Outlook opens his mail is entered into the receiver (internal receiver) and press send. The mail do not show up and as mentioned even in sent items.
  I then try to do the same but send through the address book in Outlook / Exchange and these messages appears as they should.
One week later, the disappeared mails suddenly appears in the college’s mailboxes and it turns out there are some mails to external addresses as well, which were not sent until a week. All messages are now in sent mail but they have not
appeared anywhere else before.
I did some tests with the "send to" function which also had the mails disappearing - those mails has not turned up until now. (a week ago)
Now the user (AND all colleagues)  are very nervous that something is wrong with their system and the mail does not arrive.
It is only 1 user this has affected but he is responsible for the majority of sales in this company and they are very afraid that they are not responding correctly to large customers.
Is there anyone who can help with debugging in such a case?
I have tried repairing Outlook, started in safe mode, checked the mail server for hanging mails but nothing shows any errors.

Hi,
Have the user logon OWA and send the attachment, will this issue persist?
Please also confirm if the issue exists when inserting an attachment when composing a new email isntead of using the "Send to Mail Recipient" function.
Since only one user has been affected, use MFCMAPI to find if the message is stuck in the user's mailbox:

    I'm having the same issue.  It's happening almost daily with me. As noted by other users above, I am able to continue receiving emails during this time. 
    The instance that caught my eye with this, happened the other day.  I ran into a colleague and asked about a message I had forwarded a few minutes before.  She hadn't gotten it.  I thought perhaps I'd sent it to her home mail, so I went back
    to my sent box to check.  It wasn't there.  I checked my desktop thinking perhaps I hadn't hit Send, but no.  That's when I noticed I had 8 messages in my Outbox.  I was docked.  I could actively get to the Internet and our internal
    servers.  On the bottom status bar in Exchange it said "All Folders Up to date.  Connected to Exchange Server."  And yet, Outbox held 8 messages. 
    I went and got our user support person at that time, so another set of eyes could confirm this.  I can't remember what we did next, but we got the "Outlook not responding" message.  We closed Outlook, got the message that there was a problem,
    do you want to wait for it or close and restart where you left off.  I clicked on close and restart.  When it restarted Outlook opened up a couple of windows of emails I'd read awhile ago. They were mails that I'd opened and left open while I worked
    on the issue referenced in the mail.  So they'd probably been open for anywhere from 5-15 minutes.  But I'd long since closed those couple open emails from my desktop.  I saw that my Outbox cleared of those 8 messages, so I went to my Sent
    box, and they weren't there.  It had probably been 45 minutes since my last sent message.  However I was receiving emails the whole time.  I was opening and reading the new mails, deleting them, and even replying to them, without noticing that
    the replies weren't leaving my Outbox.
    Our user support person recommended that I delete and recreate my .OST, which we did.  That kept me working for one day before the problem returned.
    Couple things I've noticed.  I get the "Outlook not responding" and have to restart Outlook mostly when I'm moving email to my .pst on a network drive. 
    I rarely undock this laptop, so I'm not going into standby or using WiFi.  However I have noticed in Event Viewer I will get Informational Event ID 26, "Connection to MS Exchange has been lost.  Outlook will restore connection when possible." 
    followed by another one "Connection has been restored."  The drop of connection has never been longer than 2 milliseconds.   I might be able to equate the drops to that loss of connection, but it seems I have to do something else at the same
    time, as the drops are much more frequent than the not responding/data loss problem.  (probably get 8-10 drops / day, but only see this Outlook not responding/loss of email 1-3 times a day.)
    Upon suggestion of my Exchange Admin I've turned on return receipt so I can hopefully catch it in the process and at least be able to hopefully remember what emails I'm going to have to recreate. 
    This is a big deal for us!!  We suspect I'm not the only one having this problem, as 3 of my lost emails were calendar requests, and since moving to Outlook 2010 we've been getting a marked increase in people complaining of meeting notices they
    aren't receiving.  So I'm trying to actively monitor it while I get my work done today.  If there's anything you want me to trouble shoot, please let me know.

    I'm having troubles with Mail. Some mails (in particular to gmail addresses) are not sent. When sending an email, Mail apparently works for a while but does'nt sent anything. I repeated sending the mail with the same result and 2 or more mails in the draft folder. Yesterday I discovered that the mail had been sent 4 times!. Now I have the same problem: the mail has not been sent, it appears in the draft folder, I try to delete it but the mail remains in the draft folder. This happens after updating to Mac OS X 10.7.2 and migrating to iCloud.
    I have MacBook 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Mb ram memory, Mac OS X Lion (10.7.2).

    If those music are greyed out in iTunes on your laptop, are you able to play the music? If you cannot, it means that you probably deleted the mp3 file or moved it to another location where iTunes can no longer find. If they are greyed out on iTunes and cannot play them, I would just right click and delete it. Then re-sync with your iPad.

  • Wf mails are not sent

    Workflow mails are not sent.
    The global preference was set as Do not send emails, we changed the same to mail with attachments. After that we ran resend failed or undelivered messages request. Even then the messages are not sent.
    mail_status is null in wf_notifications table for all of these messages.
    None of the activities are errored.
    I appreciate if any body faced similar situation and can point me where things are going wrong.

    The notifications that were sent when the preference was set to "Do not send mail" are not considered failed or undelivered. Those notifications at the time they were sent were not supposed to be sent as e-mail.. so not sent. If you want them to sent as e-mail, you will have to manually update the MAIL_STATUS to MAIL, run $FND_TOP/sql/wfntfqup.sql to rebuild the mailer queue. This will take care of sending all those e-mails.

    PO can be created with reference to a bid (Response of a Bid Invitation). Even contracts is also possible here.
    Then ragarding can a contract be created with ref to po -> No.....

  • Sound for outgoing mail sometimes happening and sometimes not

    Hello,
    I noticed already some time ago that Apple Mail seems to make the usual sound for outgoing mail only sometimes and sometimes not. It is more not happening than happening. I cannot recognize any pattern in this behavior.
    Any idea what is going on here and how to fix it - or is this a normal behavior for Mail?

    Very weird.
    I went back and selected 'Correct Spelling Automatically' in Text Edit-- that works, but I don't like it either. Whoops, only intermittently. I just looked again and that's not working now. Wow, no restart of computer and I hadn't closed Text Edit-yet it stopped working.
    Spell checking seems to be behaving badly. It will not underline in mail--until I change a misspelled word....and then only sometimes. At the best it's intermittent.
    I hope someone found it interesting enough to fix w/the next system update...

    You don't.
    You synced your iPhone with iTunes for the first time after how long?
    And this didn't happen by syncing only. This means you transferred the backup for another iPhone or you restored the iPhone with iTunes. It is not possible for everything to be lost by syncing alone. All iTunes content on your iPhone can be lost but not any photos in the Camera Roll and the same for contacts unless you synced contacts with an empty address book application on your computer.

    Were the VISA and MasterCard issued to you by a bank in the country where you reside and do they have a verifiable billing address in the same country?
    Or are these debit cards that you bought in a local store. Apple does not accept debit cards that you bought.

    Hi Alinc,
    I find that this happens with folders that either have a lot of stuff in them, when there is a lot of large files on my desktop, or when my computer has it's RAM bogged down. I'm guessing it's just a benign performance issue, and so far it hasn't cause me any serous problems except for one folder that constantly take a while to load but I'm not surprised because that folder has 8000+ files and is over 25GB in size LOL.
    If this is still an issue for you, or you folders disappear for so long that it becomes an inconvenience, I would recommend trying the following things:
    1) Save your work and close any open programs, but don't close your Finder folders though. Click the Apple Logo  in the upper left hand corner of the screen, then choose Force Quit. In the windows that comes up select Finder and choose Relaunch. This should force all of your open Finder folders to get refreshed. Please note this is a very brute force operation so it might be the most elegant solution.
    2) A better but less potent thing to try is cleaning up you finder folders. If like me you have hundreds of files in one folder, or there is more than a gigabyte of data in the first level of the folder, then it might be a good idea to clean it up by moving some of those files into subfolders.
    3) This is my favorite fix to try, and I recommend it to almost everyone because it's super easy and has a reasonable chance of improving your computer's performance at least a little bit.
    3.a) Go to Disk Utility, and click on your hard drive.
    3.b) Go to First Aid, and click each of the following one at a time: Verify Disk, Repair Disk, Verify Disk Permissions, and finally Repair Disk Permissions. Each of those actions should take several minutes (3 to 30) to complete on a fast hard drive, so make sure you don't need your computer for any serious work during this time.
    3.c) Once those operations are complete click on your Macintosh HD partition (right below the hard drive you clicked before) and repeat step 3.b.
    3.d) If you have any other connected hard drives or partitions you can do this for them as well. BUT, I don't recommend doing this on any Windows formatted drives, like FAT or NTFS, or your Bootcamp partition — although the First Aid buttons on the Bootcamp will probably be disabled anyway.

    When a Mac is "registered" for iMessages account with an Apple ID the Serial Number of the Mac is used to create an Auth Token as it is called for the Messages app that allows that Mac to work.
    I would guess a similar process of linking the Number of the iPhone to a Hardware fact about the device is also in place.
    I would contact Apple Support and check with them.  (you might need to speak to a Level 2 person as Level 1 people are script led and try to fit everything into Software or Hardware categories where as sorting and Apple ID (which the Number is in this case) is normally Free).

    My original I Phone 5 was running IOS 6.12
    My I phone 5S currently runs IOS 8..When I upgraded it, it had IOS 7 on it which made the I Photo app compatible with everything below IOS 8...( which the photo app is not compatible with ) so I just connected the I Phone 5S to my computer and thinking the new phone had IOS 7 on it that these was nothing to worry about..I thought all 900 + pictures in the photo stream would transfer but somewhere in the process, I Tunes decides to just go and install IOS 8 which requires that you run a " Photo Migration App" to transfer photos from IOS 7 & below. The problem was is that I didn't want IOS 8 on my new 5S so I thought I wouldn't have to do that part..
    Anyway the phone emerged with IOS 8 on it and the only photos that remained were the ones that were actually on the phone..The 900 + I had in the stream didn't transfer because the Photos that works on IOS 7 and below isn't compatible with IOS 8..I guess you have to use the photo migration app that comes with IOS 8 & I phone 6..But I didn't ask to upgrade to IOS 8...It just did it on it's own!
    I still have the I Phone 5 Back up that I did just before giving it back to Verizon but if I try to restore the I Phone 5S running IOS 8 those photos in the stream will not go back on the phone because IOS 8 isn't compatible with the I Photos" that ran on IOS 7 and below..
    So I have an I Pad mini that runs IOS 7..should I try and erase it...and put that I Phone 5 backup on it and pray the photos that were in the stream come back on it so I can transfer them back to my computer...then erase the I pad mini again and restore it using it's original backup that I have on the computer and the in the cloud?

    There is a bug in iOS 5: SMS messages are not sent if one receipients mobile number is registered with iMessages.
    This is confirmed by the developer of the team sms app:  if you send a message to a number of receipients and one of the recepients mobile numbers, the message is sent do, is registered with iMessage, then none of the recipients will receive the message.
    Does anyone know a work around until Apple comes up with a bugfix?

    I am not sure about the details of your case, but I can confirm that a message does send to multiple recipients even if one of this has iMessage.  I recently sent a message to two people, one with a BB and one with an iPhone 4 (iOS 5 and iMessage working).  Because of the difference, it resorted to the least common denominator and sent the message as a standard text to both people.  I was replied to by both parties.  Based on your description I can confirm that your detail is not the case.
    Have you checked through the settings in Messages?  Do you have a texting plan associated with your account?  I am sorry if these questions seem stupid, but they are worth asking to verify.
