Maintenance Tools Assignment/Tracking/Issue to Employees.

Dear All,
We have Implemented Plant Maintenance Module for Manufacturing Plant. Maintenance department issue certain maintenance power tools/tool box to maintenance technicians to perform their daily/routine maintenance activities.
We want to maintained these tools in SAP and have a track for same with respect to employee number in order to better management of tools inventory. Also, to have a report w.r.t. every technicians which are tools company has issues.
Let me know if we can achieve this in SAP Offers through customized/standard solution.
Kindly, share you thoughts on how we can achieve same.

    I wont recommend turning off cookies in production.
    Turning off cookies was only from a Performance
    Testing perspective, Not using cookies for a performance test but using them in production, sort of invalidates the test, since much of the issue I had was the testing tool waiting for data to be returned to the cookies so it could be used to move to the next page.
    Partner Management uses all of them. I uses iStore for its external launch page, OA framework for its functionality, but then links to Sales online for Opportunities, and Quotes which I believe is AK framework. so you have a mixture of several
    frameworks involved...... plus Discoverer Viewer...

    even clicking once on a layer to click and drag in after effects for example is openign precomps and really getting on my tits (can i say tits, well i have: i mean the blue tit of the bird family ha ha ha)

    There's nobody here but we users.
    If you have a double click issue than slow the time down in System Preferences > mouse. The slow side gives you more time between clicks, faster is less time.
    If you have tracking issues the preference slide bar range doesn't solve you can experiment with the settings as explained here:

  • Can someone explain how to assign tracks....

    First off.. I'm loving GarageBand. Love to send my stuff somewhere.. not sure where.. let me know if you know..

    one thing I'm running into is assigning tracks.
    Ch 1, 2, 3, 4 (mono), Ch 1%2, 3&4...
    Here's a common scenario at my iMac.
    Track 1. Turns on monitor. Plays. Nothing. huh? Assigns to ch 1. Works. changes to ch 2. doesn't work. changes to ch 3&4 doesn't work.
    Hmm.
    Finally gets it working.
    Track 2. Does roughly the same thing. Doesn't work. Ok.. select another channel. works.
    Adds track. wait, now my vocals are on this channel and not the original channel.
    Basically, a whole dose of confusion.
    Can someone describe to me why/when I would use Channel 1&2 and ch 3&4 as opposed to 1, 2, 3, 4 independently?
    Can someone also tell me why when I have two tracks, one assigned to 1 mono and one assigned to 3 mono they don't both work? Shouldn't they work?
    Also, seeing as I think the 1&2, and 3&4 options relate to those independent channels (1, 2, 3, 4) how do you record three or 4 instruments at a time? Where's the 5, 6, 7, 8 channels? I know you can record up to 8 tracks at a time no?

    Sorry Hangtime.....
    If I understand your comment correctly, I think the answer is my audio interface tool . It only has two inputs. Of course I'd need more inputs if I wanted to record more tracks in unison, but even now, when trying to record vocals on channel one and guitar on channel 2, or 3 it doesn't seem as though they both are recognized. The tracks are there but one of the tracks won't register any input. I end up playing around with assigning different channels to the tracks until both tracks are registering input levels but it's always a crap shoot it seems. there doesn't seem to be a consistent rhyme to it.
    So there's that.
    There's also the when/why you use the stereo channels as opposed to the mono channel and how exactly do they relate... i.e how does ch 1&2 relate to ch 1 (mono) and ch 2 (mono)?

  • Edit/Modify Tracker Issue List

    Hi there,
    I have customised a Tracker Issue list to manage any issue araised amongst a group of people. But now I can't edit it.
    When I first implemented it, on Windows XP, everything was working fine.
    But now I'm using Windows 7 and I can't edit the list to add more fields etc... 
    At first, I thought that I didn't install the Sharepoint Designer tool. Even after installing the latter, it doesn't work.
    Is this normal? Thanks for your help.

    It should not matter what computer you are connecting from, you should be able to edit the list equally well from a Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, Phone 8, IMac or Raspberry Pi (ok, that doesn't have a compatible browser) as long as you're using a working and
    compatible browser.
    The most common cause of this sort of error is user permissions, someone may have removed your rights to edit that list. Check with the site owner that you still have permission to edit the list.
    The next most common issue is that if you have javascript errors in your browser it can lock the ribbon. This means that you'd see only part of the ribbon and the rest would be greyed out. You would also have multiple javascript errors which can be found
    in the bottom right hand corner of IE.
    Try from another computer if you have one available, if not then try with a different browser (IE/Chrome/Firefox).

  • How to change HR assignment for BP with employee role in CRM

    we download employees from R3 HR into CRM. By mistake, some duplicates BP were created. we want to change the assignment with the BP employee in CRM and the employee in R3. In other word, to remove the personnel number ID stored in CRM and to add this personnel ID to others BP in CRM.
    For example:
    In CRM,  BP 100 does not have a personnel number assigned to his employee role.
    In CRM, BP 101 (duplicate of BP 100) is assigned to the personnel number 345 from the employee in R3.
    We'd like to assign the personnel number 345 to BP 100 and remove the link with HR in BP 101.
    is it possible?  where is this assignment stored - In R3&HR or in CRM?
    can you guys share your experience on how to resolve this

    We can assing the CC in two ways.
    1. is for position.
    2. or for a Org unit.
    In your case if it is for Position. GOTO PP02 enter the details as
    Plan Version    HI
    Object Type     s
    Object ID       50018133
    Object abbr.
    Infotype        1001
    Subtype         A011
    Planning status 1
    Validity        06/23/2008  to     12/31/9999
    Data sample.
    Then goto change and change the CC. this will also updates the IT0001.
    If not, You can also change through Org unit.
    Where goto PPos_old> select the org unit> then goto staff assignments> select the required position> and there is a option called goto from top menu> there you can check accoutn assignment>  there you will get diff screen to be displayed--> there select the position if you want to change and select the option maste cost center and change the CC by giving dates, this will also updates the IT0001.

  • Itunes assigns track numbers automatically

    iTunes 11 - When I play a track, sometimes iTunes will automatically assign a track number to it, but not always. So what happens is it winds up putting an entire albumn out of order. In other ones, it will assign track #1 to track 1, then track 4 to track 4 and so on. So the ones it doesn't assign a track number wind up displaying on that particular album before the ones that were given a track number. It's doing this pretty randomly and causing a lot of grief.
    I realize I can right click on the tracks without an assinged track number and assign the right number, but that's a pain for thousands of songs. I tried removing the Track# column, but that doesn't help. I still prefer to listen to listen to albums in their entirety and like to put them on my iPod, etc. that way.
    Can't itunes just sort by artist name, then album, then the correct order of the album? This never happened on a previous version. Why did they do this?

    The track numbers are all fine, the album and artist are exactly the same for all of them.

    the tracks arent going in the right order. IDK why it wont work. I bought the album on itunes, then bought the song "not now" cause itunes didnt include it on the album, and bought "stockholm syndrome" cause itunes didnt include it on the album. Both songs are on the normal cd. I tried to put those two songs onto the album in the order they would be if I bought the cd and ripped it, but itunes wont place them in that order.

    Navigate to Work Structures -> Status and query for all rows with system status Terminated Assignment. select your required assignment status as Default. Untick the other default.

    You really have no need for one. That said:
    Kappy's Personal Suggestions for OS X Maintenance
    For disk repairs use Disk Utility.  For situations DU cannot handle the best third-party utilities are: Disk Warrior;  DW only fixes problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by directory corruption; Disk Warrior 4.x is now Intel Mac compatible. Drive Genius provides additional tools not found in Disk Warrior.  Versions 1.5.1 and later are Intel Mac compatible.
    OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are scheduled to occur on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. The maintenance scripts run in the early AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep.)
    If you are using a pre-Leopard version of OS X, then an excellent solution is to download and install a shareware utility such as Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacron, or Anacron that will automate the maintenance activity regardless of whether the computer is turned off or asleep.  Dependence upon third-party utilities to run the periodic maintenance scripts was significantly reduced since Tiger.  (These utilities have limited or no functionality with Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion and should not be installed.)
    OS X automatically defragments files less than 20 MBs in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files there's little need for defragmenting the hard drive. As for virus protection there are few if any such animals affecting OS X. You can protect the computer easily using the freeware Open Source virus protection software ClamXAV. Personally I would avoid most commercial anti-virus software because of their potential for causing problems. For more about malware see Macintosh Virus Guide.
    I would also recommend downloading a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX 2.4.3, or Cocktail 5.1.1 that you can use for periodic maintenance such as removing old log files and archives, clearing caches, etc.
    For emergency repairs install the freeware utility Applejack.  If you cannot start up in OS X, you may be able to start in single-user mode from which you can run Applejack to do a whole set of repair and maintenance routines from the command line.  Note that AppleJack 1.5 is required for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. (There is no confirmation that this version also works with Lion or later.)
    When you install any new system software or updates be sure to repair the hard drive and permissions beforehand. I also recommend booting into safe mode before doing system software updates.
    Get an external Firewire drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):
      1. Carbon Copy Cloner.
      2. Data Backup
      3. Deja Vu
      4. SuperDuper!
      5. SyncTwoFolders
      6. Synk Pro
      7. Synk Standard
      8. Tri-Backup

    If only a few tens of records are to be added or updated, entering this data manually into SAP is a reasonable option. However, if several hundred to several thousand records are to be updated, manual data entry is not an ideal choice. Manual data entry can get very expensive and time consuming and is not the best utilization of corporate resources – this is especially wasteful for data that already exists in another digital format, e.g., Excel files.     Do you know some maintenance tool that can clean hidden caches, temporary files, logs. I need one so badly. I've got spring cleaning but I've been seeing some negative reviews about it. I also don't like it's schedulermailer thingy that asks for keychain access, it's seems like a spyware to me. I just don't trust it now after reading some bad reviews.
    I want a lightweight maintenance tool that don't install daemons or some other files all over the place.

    Cache files are files that the OS or applications store for easy access when they are again needed, so that they do not need to be regenerated from scratch each time. For example, when you visit a web page with 20 images on it, your browser will store those images in cache for a period of time. Next time you visit that page, the browser will pull the images out of cache, which is much faster than downloading all 20 images over again. Try flushing out your browser's cache and see how much longer it takes to load the Apple Discussions web page, for example.
    Repairing disk permissions is also rather useless as a maintenance task. I do it only when installing software (some boneheaded developers write installer scripts that change permissions on system files which can open security holes), or if I am having some problem specifically related to permissions.
    I'm not sure what you mean by "repairing files".
    The most important thing you can do to "maintain" your system is to make regular backups. I use Time Machine and also clone my whole system to another external hard drive twice a day.

    In OM side, Org Unit is linked to company code "GB**" cost center, when we tried to assign new cost center(company code is GB**), system throws error "Company Code changes involves Invalid change of country". I know when we try to assign cost center, belongs to another country company code, this error comes. I checked and found that employees under OU belong to 2 different countries.Few of the employees belong to GB** company code while other employees belong to FI** company code.
    Is it possible to assign different company code employees(different country code) to the same OU? if yes, how can we do that?

    Yes it is possible to assign by creating sub org unit and then assigning cost center based on the company code (and country code)
    When the child org unit is created under the Parent org unit - maintain the Account assignment details - cost center details based on the company code of other countries i.e Finland and any positions created it will be under Finland and that way you can choose different countries.
    Example :
    Root Org unit : XYZ / OU
    Sub Org units : GB  / Finland / Italy / NL   etc with respective cost centers
    Sub Org units or positions: GB_HR / GB_Sales etc which will default the cost center from the GB org unit.
    In our current clients we have more than 5 + countries under the Root Org unit and then sub org units as each country which are further divided and have respective cost centers assigned.

    While I may be biased, it has genuinely helped me as an Adobe Premiere user on many occasions. The one-click QuickFix function is particularly useful and has helped me several times fix visual artifacts caused by Dynamic Link cache corruption.

  • Poor site maintenance tool

    I know that I complain about Dreamweaver a lot. But, that is
    because there are a lot of things to complain about Dreamweaver. I
    know a lot of programmers love it and it's probably a great tool
    for writing scripts etc. but for site maintenance I find it very
    weak to the point of being pathetic (and job threatening).
    One of my clients has a site that is quite large -with
    approximately 2,300 items to keep track of (pages, images, etc.).
    Dreamweaver has not been able to sufficiently manage the site well.
    It constantly loses track of page links, and just this morning I
    discovered that Library Assets on several pages have mysteriously
    become unlinked. But the kicker is, if I make an update to the
    Asset, Dreamweaver ACTS like it is making the updates to all of
    those pages - but it isn't. That kind of poor linking and dropping
    page information is unacceptable. Other coding issues have
    periodically popped up as well - Drop Menus for some reason stop
    working and must be replaced even tho nothing has been done to
    them. They just stop working.
    And again, Dreamweaver is terrible at uploading updated files
    to the server. It often skips pages and images that have just been
    updated - causing me to have to manually triple check each file to
    make sure it was uploaded. Not a real confidence building piece of
    software.
    Those are just the most recent developments in Dreamweaver's
    poor site management. I've been on Dreamweaver seriously for a year
    now and frankly I have not been impressed by it's performance at
    all.
    The program interface also doesn't add any ease of use to the
    work flow either. The Windows "explorer" navigation is terrible and
    I swear they must have used the same rendering engine that Internet
    Explorer 6 uses because they look exactly the same - terrible.
    Thanks for promoting such a crippling application Adobe.
    On the bright side now I know how all of those Microsoft IT
    professionals feel about job security due to terrible software that
    they support.
