Managed acct not getting online.

Hello, I have a 3-4 yr old Macbook that is unable to connect to the internet when using Firefox of Safari from a managed acct.
I have 10 Macbooks all running 10.5 with the same image, they all have admin accts (me), and managed accts. All of them, except one, work fine on the internet from the managed acct. I have checked this computer numerous times, it is getting a proper IP address and works fine from an admin acct. I have set one of the accts to a standard acct and it worked fine, I have redone the accts, reimaged the computer, deleted the preferences of Firefox and Safari, reinstalled Firefox, gone into the user library > app support > firefox and gotten rid of the profile there, made sure the network settings are correct, nothing has worked.
Any thoughts on what to try next?

Click the Apple  top left in your screen.

    In our production solution manager transaction solution_manager, self diagnosis we are getting a warning message on our development solution manager. 
    Solution Manager XXX does not get service definitions from SAP.
    The production Solution Manager is the master in SDCCN for the test Solution Manager.  In the test Solution Manager, the scheduled task REFRESH SERVICE DEFINITIONS has task System ID of O01.  It is pointed to RFC destination SDCC_OSS, not the production Solution Manager system.
    It gives the same warning if I point the task to the production Solution Manager system.
    Has anyone seen this before?  Any ideas?

      i guess have you activated SDCCN from your solution manager system too?
    if not please activate. since that setup helps solman retrive the service definitions used in SDCCN from SAP (SAPOSS).so this ultimately allows you to set solution manager system as Master, so all the satellite system get the service definition from solman and do not need a direct SAPOSS connection.

  • Batch Management Indicator not getting set for material master

    Hi,
    In one of the material we need to mark the Batch Management Indicator in Material MAster. We had removed all the stocks from the material. But still we are getting error, Stock exists for the material in Plant XXX and Sloc YYY.
    I checked in MARD table and MMBE that for this maaterial there are no stock for said Sloca and Plant.
    One thing which I noticed in the Material Master and MARDH table that there exists some stock in Previous persiod for the said Sloc and Plant.
    Need to know is this error is due to stock shown in previous period. Why system is checking the previous period stock.
    How can we resolve our issue and check this Indicator.
    Please let me know as earliest as possible.

    Refer OSS Note 30656 - Change base unit of measure/batch mngt requirement
    Following are the details of this note;
    Symptom
    When maintaining a material master record, you change the base unit of measure or the batch management requirement indicator or the valuation category. The system then tells you that this change is not possible since stocks still exist. However, no stocks are shown for the material in the stock overview.
    Reason and Prerequisites
    The message that stocks still exist refers not only to stocks in the current period, but also to stocks in the previous period.
    The reason for checking previous period stocks is that postings can also be made to the previous period when entering goods movements. This would result in inconsistencies if the base unit of measure had meanwhile been changed.
    Solution
    Please check whether stocks still exist for the previous period by displaying, for example, the plant stock view or storage location stock view of the material. You do this by selecting "Extras -> Previous period -> Prev. pd SLoc. stock or Prev. pd plant stock".
    If previous period stocks exist, you can make a withdrawal posting as follows:
          1. Post the same amount to current period stock (for example, using movement type 561) so that previous period stock and current period stock are identical.
          2. Make a withdrawal posting in the previous period for the stock together with posting date (for example, using movement type 562).
    You can now try again to change the base unit of measure or the batch management requirement indicator.
    Since the posting of the previous period values to zero is identical with posting to the stocks of the current period, you should reverse the above stock postings (i.e. the stock from the previous period should be booked in again) to make sure that the stock values from the previous and the current periods correspond to the state before the change. Please note, however, that the postings are then carried out using the changed master data from the current period (e.g. account determination, etc.)

    i have assigned a work manager to an application in weblogic-application.xml and able to see that under Deployments
    -> Application name -> Configuration -> Workload tab of weblogic console.
    But while starting server get a warning as

    When i created a work manager from Deployments -> Configuration -> Workload -> New and the new Work Manager appears in the Application-Scoped Work Managers table. But was not able to see that in Monitering -> Workload Work managers table. Why is that so?

  • Solaris Management Console not getting started in Solaris 10

    Hi folks,
    I am new to Solaris and installed Solaris 10 on IBM ThinkCenter successfully. But after booting in text mode, I typed smc and it gives error related to DISPLAY.
    Then I tried with the command kdmconfig and I could choose Xsun. In the Video device list, it was showing XF86-VESA Intel Corp. Unknown board.I saved the settings and pressed F2 for testing. I could see the display; but unable to get in to GUI mode.
    Can you help me please?

    Try search the WEB for your display adapter drivers. However, most of new especially intergated graphics are still not supported.
    You may try to get it working with xsun, run kdmconfig and specify as display adapter VGA or Super VGA. I know that in some cases it helps.
    As well do the same with Xorg and run /usr/X11/bin/xorgcfg, try to find somekind of generic VGA in drivers that are listed there.
    As I know, smc runs only in graphical mode.
    I saved the settings and pressed F2 for testing. I could see the displayDid you see buttons on that display (something like "yes", "no")?
    xsun is very hard to set with most of display adapters and monitors, sometimes it shows only part of the screen, so you might not to see these buttons. However if you see them, press "yes" (or something like that, I dont exactly remember). Then reboot and your computer should start the GUI.

  • Managed Printers Not Getting Preferences (Server 10.5.8)

    I hope this isn't a repeat post.
    I have a lab where different users get privileges to use different printers, after much searching I solved the problem of making sure the user only sees what they are supposed to ( from this article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2689 ).
    What now eludes me is I cannot get the clients to remember the settings for each printer (ex. multiple trays, duplex, etc). I have the drivers set correctly on the server, but even if the printer settings are made on the client, they are lost at Log Out. Is there any solution to this?

    A log file had filled up and left no free space on the server OS drive.  I had to connect remotely with SSH and move the log to a different hard drive.  This freed up enough space that logging in was successfuly.

  • Enterprise Compensation Management, Rating Not getting Reflected

    Hi Experts, I have done the basic configuration for ECM, where in have taken appraisals as one of the criteria for calculating the increase in Salary. But the rating is not being reflected at the portal for planning, it says Employee Ineligible. Request you to pls help me here. The appraisal doc of the employee is in 'Complete' status.

    I would recommend going through the entire CM node and recheck all of the configuration. Though the CM in is old, in ECC 5.0 it presented a lot of new section and redefined certain section as well. Such as the ability to use different appraisal type, etc. All of these new add on allows CM to be supported by the MSS web interface.
    I am pretty familar with 4.6c version of CM and was under the same assumption originally when thinking ECM is new and CM is old under ECC 5.0, thus all of CM should be exactly the same. After thorough look at it a few months back, I was shocked to see the differences.
    Go through it again and check to make sure all of the values are correct, such as Compensation Components and Wage Types for Compensation Adjustment Types....

  • I can't get online wirelessly OR with a wire!

    Ok.. first I just wanted to reference this post:

    Now, moving on, I will explain my problem. Note my specs below. I am using a D-Link DI-624. I have been able to get online for like, ohh... I don't know the past 2 years!!! All of a sudden TODAY it decides that it will not get online. Here's some facts:
    1. I tried resetting the modem, and the router, and my computer (about 5 times).
    2. I have made a new Admin account to make sure it wasn't my settings that were screwed.
    3. I used Applejack to clear any other problems I didn't see.
    4. Any other Windows computer in my house is able to get online, so I know it's not my ISP.
    5. I am able to get a GREAT signal on my wireless internet, so I know it's not my airport card, plus I reseated the card anyway, and it still gives me the same vitals.
    6. I have tried to do a manual DHCP setting, and auto, did a new location, and even tried with a wire, and it will NOT let me get online, by anymeans.
    7. I have tried to go on Apple's site, won't work that way either.
    8. Sometimes my router gives me an ip address, but it still says I am NOT connected to the internet, other times I get that blasted 169.254.x.x ip address, which of course doesn't get my anywhere at all.
    9. I AM able to get on the neighbor's internet, and I get online, of course the connection isn't that strong so I can't stay on it, but I do see that it has to do something with a DHCP assignment? Right?
    I don't know where to go from here... I'm wondering if my MAC address is being banned from my router? Can that HAPPEN?? Sigh.. please help, I'll be waiting patiently by my windows computer for a solution... PLEASE HELP!!!!

  • Trouble getting online

    I'm having trouble connecting to the internet on my boyfriend's wireless network. It appears as though my computer is connected, but will not get online. I tried calling his ISP, but they were unable to help me because I am on a Mac. I have a subscription to the AppleCare Plan, and expected to have 24/7 support for $300 (especially considering this is the first time in a year that I have needed support... what is it that I paid extra for??), but unless I am mistaken, I must wait until normal business hours to get help? Any suggestions?

    More on my problem connecting:
    I'm trying to connect using AirPort. The signal bar is full, and the network it shows I am connected to is his. I pull up my browser, though, and no internet. His router is encrypted, and I've attempted before to enter in the encryption information using his settings. I don't know if I did that wrong or if it was not the problem, but that did not work. I've never had so much trouble connecting to a network (I've used hotels, school, bookstores)!
    When I pull up the Network window from System Preferences, it says that Airport is connected but it does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the internet. I've tried restarting both the computer and the router, but that has not helped.

    Can any one help me with solution why emails are not getting triggered in request->request type = user creation. I.e the L1 manager is not getting email when request is submitted.
    The checked SU01 regarding WF_BATCH email(email is maintained) and the request can able to identify the manager,but the manager is not getting any emails. In audit log, it shows with whom is request is pending with.And it is showing nothing in SOST and SLG1.
    The scenario is : In user creation, for a given user..if position is maintained,im submitting position based request using FM   GRAC_IDM_ORG_ASSG_REQ_SERVICES   else if position is not maintained, im submitting user based request using FM   GRAC_IDM_USR_ACCS_REQ_SERVICES(in user based request, emails are getting triggered).

  • I can not get wifi to work after installing new hard drive...

    I have a a505-s6965 laptop running vista and I had to replace the hard drive. After doing so and running all of the recovery discs I keep getting an error message about my wifi driver and card reader and also a couple others.   • I had to change my email acct and do not have access to the original one my icloud, iTunes,etc have. I changed it and signed out and was able to successfully change to the new email on iTunes and Apple ID. However, I can not get icloud to change over and.

    To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    In satellite system support message is getting created, message number"...." successfully created in service desk.
    When i check in solution manager system in  crm_dno_monitor the message that i created in satellite system is not getting reflected in solution manager. I removed the varients and then executed . The result is still the same.
    Service desk was configured from our Development system (Client 320) to solution manager. I wanted the support desk to work from my another cleint in same system to Solution manager.
    What can be the possible problem.
