Manual adjusting entries

Hi
How can i find Manual adjusting entries posted .For finding this which tables we can use.is it possible through WBS Element.and what is Controlling document tables ?
Regards,
Lakshmaiah.

Accounting techniques impact the virtual cube's interpretation of the different posting levels.  I'm not sure what happens if they aren't maintained (I would guess BCS considers everything to be Purchase Method).
If you have Equity Method units that's you're manually booking a pickup for, you'd want to set the accounting techniques correctly in order to assure the PL00 & 10 are showing up in the reporting, and that no PL20 elimination entries are being included as well.

  • Manually adjusted G/L and Material values in MIRO document

    Dear All,
Can you please help me get the logic of capturing data from RBCO and RBMA for manually adjusted entries. I have a Purchase Register, which is completely based on the MIRO documents. The values are picked up from RSEG and RBKP. Header-wise and item-wise details are also displayed in the register.
Since manual adjustments are done, the values are not saved in RSEG Table. The total value is reflected in the RBKP - Header table. How do I get the value bifurcation?
The values are there in BSET table also. But I fetch the values with respect to the tax codes and condition types from BSET. Accounting values are fetched from BSET in the existing register.
According to the current logic, the adjusted values are not populated to the Purchase Register.
How to display the values in item-wise and header-wise?
Please help me get a logic of getting the values from RBCO and RBMA or from BSET.
I prefer to get the values populated from BSET, because we will get the tax values also.
    Thanks,
    Haritha

Hello , there are two tabs next to "Po reference" tab called "G/L Account" & "Material" tabs which can be used for G/L Accounts & material entering.
if you don't have these tabs , please check for authorization.

  • Excel Table with Data Connection Manual Text Entry Misaligned After Refresh

    Greetings!
I have an Excel 2010 workbook that includes a table linked to my SharePoint 2013 site by a data connection. The SharePoint list feeds the table standard information that's managed on the SharePoint site, but I need the user of the Excel workbook to be able
to enter text manually in the workbook to associate local information with the line-items coming from the SharePoint list. To do this, I've added extra columns to the end of the table.
The user can enter information in the appropriate cells in the "extra" columns at the end of the table, but when I refresh the data connection, the addition of a new list item on the SharePoint side results in the user's manually entered text getting
out of alignment with the row it's supposed to be associated with.
    Example
    Column 1(SP)
    Column 2(Extra)
    Row 1
    Item 1
    Row 2
    Item 2
    Text entered for Item 2
    Row 3
    Item 3
Then, if I add a new item to the list in SharePoint, for example, something that would appear between the original items 1 & 2, after refreshing the table, I get the following:
    Column 1(SP)
    Column 2(Extra)
    Row 1
    Item 1
    Row 2
    New Item 1.5
    Text entered for Item 2
    Row 3
    Item 2
    Row 4
    Item 3
The table's data connection is set to insert rows for new items, and I could swear I had this working properly once upon a time...but I can't seem to make it work now.
Any thoughts on what would cause this?
    Thanks in advance!

Yes, it is. I realized after posting the first time, that I'd assigned the question to the Visio forum. I wasn't sure how to reassign to the correct (Excel) forum, so I re-posted over there:

  • Exchange rate differences posting failed due to manual journal entries

when i run exchange rate differences and try to post the result, system shows "No matching recording found 'journal entry' (OJDT) (ODBC-2028) [message 131-183]" at the bottom panel ane the posting was failed. then i found the problem is actually from manual journal entries made to a business partner. as long as i deselect the manual journal entries, the posting was successfully done.
i am using B1 2007B with pl09. is this standard in B1 2007B that exchange rate differences posting does not work with manual journal entries of BP?

you are right! it is a bug in 2007B.
The posting has no problem if the base reference number is same as the transaction number in the manual JE document. however, if we define a numbering series which is different from the transaction serial number, then we have problem with the posting. System searchs for the JE records by using base reference number as transaction number. That is why it could not find the JE document and then report the error message.
so, where should i post the bug to SAP and let them fix the bug as soon as possible?
    thanks for the help!

  • Manual Budget Entry for COPA

    Hi,
We are using COPA for budgeting operating expense. Our cost will be budgeted by cost center, product and region. At the GL level, it is a combination of cost element and characteric value (each characteristic represent a GL code / cost element).
We are having problem in creating planning framework using manual budget entry, using transaction code KEPM. The problem faced is we do not know how to create a form (thru report painter) to be used for this manual entry which is flexible enough for us to choose the characteristic value from the parameter screen when performing the budget entry.
    Thanks

    Dear Susee,
The layout or form is not required to be created by using report painter. On KEPM right click planning level create planning level say sales right click planning level sales and create planning package say sales planning for year 2007. after creating double click the planning package create parameter set.

  • Audit Report Fix (Manual Journal Entries for Inventory)

    Hello!
Curious if anyone has been able to fix an inventory audit report using journal entries?
For example:  if an item was on inventory account 1500 based on it's item group assignment, then say 20 items are received for $1 each, then 5 are sold at $1 then the item group is switched and now it has an inventory account of 1520 and 5 more items are issued out.
Running the audit report summarizing by accounts will show $15 as the balance in 1500 and -5 in 1520.  So when we go to actually check the accounts to reconcile them at the end of a period, our inventory accounts are always off.
I have identified manual journal entries meant to 'fix' a GL account, but these have made the audit report basically unusable for reconciliation.
Is there a way to journalize a change in the inventory accounts while making the change occur in OINM as well??
I have looked through several expert empowerment sessions that acknowledge this as a problem, but do not offer any solutions.
    Thanks!
    Mike

    Hi Mike:
Changing Item groups while inventory is on hand is a problem.  I have found a way to correct this, but it is a multi step process.  I would try this in DEMO first to make sure you get the proper results.
    Try this.
Below is the procedure for correcting the G/L Accounts on your Inventory Audit Report  It is complicated and needs to be performed when no other users are in the system.  Journal entries will not correct this problem.
    Here it is.
    1.     Review Inventory Audit Report by Summarize by Accounts for the item.
    2.     Do a Misc. Issue to remove the inventory.
    3.     Review Inventory Audit Report again.
    4.     Change the Acct # on the Item Group for the Inventory Item to match the negative value account number.  CAUTION!  Make sure that users are not performing transactions on the system when you do this.
    5.     Do another Good Receipt for 1 each at price shown in Negative value account number.  Enter as a positive number.
    6.     Re-run the Inventory Audit to confirm that the negative account has been zeroed out.
    7.     Change Item Group Inventory account to remaining positive value account number.
    8.     Do an Inventory Issue for quantity of 1 each.
    9.     Re-run the Inventory Audit Report for the item.  All accounts should now have zero value.
    10.     Change Item Group account setting back to correct account for future.
I hope it works for you.

    Vicki Smith

  • TDS adjustment entries for incorrect section code

    Hi,
I would like to do the adjustment entry for the incorrectly captured TDS amounts on the downpayment request. While creating the down payment request the TDS code was incorrectly captured in section code 194I instead of 194J. The downpayment was also done incorrectly and hence the TDS has been captured with section code 194I. I am not sure how to make the adjustment entries for the above scenerio

  • Manual Journal entry limitations in sap b1

    Hi friends,
We are creating Manual JE in sap b1. We give the access only two users for creating Manual JE. Now we will plan one more thing . Limitation of JE .  it is means, per user we will go to allow only 1000 manual journal entries only creating by the user. if they reached their limitation we block that . How i will block ? Is it possible in sap b1 ? or any store procedure is there?

Number of Journal Entries could be limited by giving user specific document numbering series for a particular user.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards

  • Compensate an invoice through a manual accounting entry in ByD??

Is it posible in SAP ByDesign to compensate open invoices through manual accounting entries?
A client uses a non-standar  payment method for supplier invoices, so they make the accounting payments manually through "New document accounting entry".
    "Suppliers            to              other account... "
In this transaction, we choose the type Manual entry for suppliers-Revaluation/Depreciation, and in the positions we specify the open invoice number and supplier number.
But in the center Debits-Suppliers, the total balance of the supplier has decreased but the position invoice still remains open.
How can I compensate this invoices then??
    Greetings

    Hi again Lokesh
Yes, using New/Charge Credit, I can post a document type:
         Suppliers                        to                        Expenses account
And after that, being able to compensate/clear the supplier invoice, that's ok.
But the New/Charge Credit panel, cost allocation allows to add ledger accounts only of groups Expenses or Incomes, and in some cases I would need to use another ledger accounts in this panel.
And in Fine tunning, accounts determination is limited for account types, so I would need to make too many changes at this point, but well I'll see...
    Many thanks

  • J1IH -adjustment entry

    Hi, experts
Here i m doing the return scenario to vendor
    (Normal process )ME21N - MIGO 103 & 105 (part1 - capture) - J1IEX (part2 -post) - MIRO
(Return Process )MIGO (Return deleivery) with part1 entry -J1IS exise invoice with posting (not doing J1IV) here i m getting ED duty payable entry while saving the J1IS excise invoice.
But now i want the adjustment entry in Modvat receivable account for that i m doing J1IH.In which which doc no to be entered please suggest.and why J1IV is not required here? i m get confused.so please suggest.

    Hi,
Return to Vendor Standard Process followed in most of the companies is as follow :
    1. At the time of GR , you have captured Excise for whole Qty, for e.g. Qty - 50 , Excise - 120.00 ( BED2Edces%1HScess%),
    For e.g.
    Accountig entries are
    RG-23 A BED HiEdCe-1    Dr    - 80.00
    RG-23 A BED A/C -1         Dr   - 16.00
    RG-23 A BED EdCess-1    Dr   - 4.00
              CENVAT Clearing A/C            Cr   - 100.00
Now you want to send the material to Vendor
Create Return PO for 25 Qty --> Do MIGO - 161 Movement  -> Create Rerurn Excise Invoice thru J1IS, Accounting Entries will be
BED Payable Govt           Cr. - 40
    CENVAT Clearing A/C      Dr. - 40
BED Ecess Payable Go   Dr - 8
    CENVAT Clearing A/C      Dr. - 8
    BED Hi-Ecess Payable    Cr . - 2
    CENVAT Clearing A/C      Dr.  - 2
So by J2IUN you will be paying the duty to Govt , so indirectly you are reversing the duty, since Cenvat Clearing will have now Rs.50 after this entry.
Any how your requirement can be fulfilled by creating a Sub Transaction Type and assigning Account Determination, you will have to explore.
    Regards,
    Vikas

  • Park and Post management review step for manual journal entries

We are implementing SAP and want to discuss the best way to automate in SAP a high dollar/value (maybe $100K and above) "park and post" management review step for posting manual journal entries. I believe SAP does not offer dollar/value limits as standard functionality for defining a park & post process. If this correct, what have you seen from your other clients using SAP park & post? Is there a different way to get where we want without customizing a workflow or generating a new transaction set?

Hi you could limit the authorisation for the users only to park and then a responsible person could review it and post. You can set a tolerance limit for customers and vendors.

  • Cannot delete or add playlists to iPod using manual adjust option

    Hello!
First time I tried manual adjust it worked for me (I deleted 2 lists off my iPod, and added a new one).
But now, two days after I did that, adding or deleting playlists simply won't work.
When I connected my iPod to the computer, iTunes told me that my iPod couldn't sync because there was not enough space for that (1 MB).
Then, I try deleting 1 or 2 playlists from the iPod. Despite the deleting, the number of songs in the Music library is still the same. Which means, nothing has been deleted.
And when I try to add a new playlist as a substitute for the one I tried to delete, it only adds the playlist, without the songs in it, though.
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks in advance.
PS: managing my songs manually is important for me, because the number of songs I have in iTunes is higher than my iPod capacity. So, from time to time, I may want to put some songs in it, and take other songs out of it.
