Manual assignment of Business Partner in PPOMA_CRM with respect to Organiza
Dear all,
I am using external number ranges for the Business Partner, that's why I want to assign manually business partner (should appear in the column of BP in front of an Organizational unit) in transaction code "PPOMA_CRM". The system assign the BP automatically with the Internal number assignment but i want to use the External Number ranges. really appreciate your help.

Hi Monika,
A position cannot be shared between 100 or 1000 employees. At the max between 2-3 employees with the total percentage adding up to not more than 100 %.Its ideal that each employee has a unique position so that it can be helpful in reporting as well.

I have the same problem.
I have business partners, also created as employees with their user id held in the Identification tab of the employee view in BP.
In the business partner Identification tab, they have the system ID>Installation No>client>user id maintained
When I go into solman_workcenter I see the message 'you are not assigned a business partner' and I cannot see any of the tickets assigned to me.
Has anyone had the same issue and resolved it?

Create Business Partner-FPP1-issue with grouping
HI
I am trying to create business partner using FPP1 transaction with my own grouping but i am getting error.
error "You cant create a customer with grouping PS05'.
here PS05 is my own grouping with number range defined.
please check the attached screens for details.What is wrong with my grouping? am not sure.

Seems like you have done the setting for BP grouping with internal number range which is fine. Please be advised that business partner groupings need to have different number ranges and different data has to be entered for each business partner type.
If you getting this error in-spite of defining the number range and assigning the number ranges in customizing then perhaps you missed out the assignment of Business Partner (BP) Type since Business Partner types can be used to group business partners.
When a BP is created, the "business partner type" appears on the initial screen and the control data screen. BP type offers grouping possibilities for business partners.
You can define and assign BP types in
Cross-Application Components->SAP Business Partner->Business Partner->Basic Settings->Define Business partner types.
BP types are defined by a unique partner type number and a description. After this you can proceed to configure field attributes in the "field grouping" as per the selected business partner type.
Let us know if you get the same error in-spite of maintaining the above mentioned settings.

No central person is assigned to Business Partner
Hi,
we are using srm 3.0 with ebp 4.0
While updating the org strcuture we deleted the Position entry & the assignment for one user.
Also the BP entry was deleted using bupa_del.
we have few shopping carts open in the system which , so we used users_gen and recreated the user in org struture but now when we try to display the shopping cart via bbp_pd we get message.
No central person is assigned to Business Partner. ID 4259F7DCC67E3C9AE1000000C6D07530
Message no. CRM_CENTRAL_PERSON003
also on using the portal when we try to monitor the shopping cart and then display the line litems we get message system error in check_status_sc (LBBP_MON_SCF50).
can some one tell us what do we need to do to correct the error.

R.M.Check the BP for the user after creating again. It should have changed, that's why you are getting this message. So you need to update the new BP in the shopping cart. There are some reports to change the requestor do some seach in SDN forum you will find it. Once you update the new BP in the shopping cart you should be all set.

Auto Assigning of Business Partner to a task
Hi Champions,
I have a situation where I have to assign a business partner as soon as joining happens to a default task and default role of the project through ABAP program.
I have been able to achieve the auto allocation of the business partner to default role using the BAPI BAPI_BUS2177_STAFFING_ADD. This creates a link in DPR_BUPA_LINK table also.
Now I am stuck as to how to assign this business partner to the default task. Which BAPI shall I use and what shall I pass as input to it achieve this.
It will be great help on hearing from on this.

Logic can be like this:
Get GUID of Task of which is going to be default.
Once employee (BP) is created, the program (scheduled at backend) will run n use the FM u mentioned.

Getting a "Business partner not found with partner function type requester"

After I add a text item to the shopping cart using the SHOP t-code, I get a message "Business partner not found with partner function type requester" What could be causing this and how can I rectify this problem.

First check :
1- transaction : CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE
select org structure where your user is and check that you have green lights (no missing address....)
2- Run transaction USERS_GEN
Select check user
Is everything correct or does the user need to be repaired ?

The Web Dynpro component assignment for business partner is missing.
As per my investigation found below.
Since address formats are different for each country, you can define in the Customizing activity Assign Web Dynpro Components to Country-Specific Address Formats under SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Dealer Portal which Web Dynpro component you want the system to use for displaying end customer addresses.
BUT do NOT understand the name of WebDynpro Component to provide.

Morganwhen I look at the function you can transfer the partner in NOTIFPARTNR table.
You must already have defined the appropiate partnerroll in customizing for you're businesspartner

Business Partner Error in Replication Due to Organizational Structure
Hi,
I tried to replicate one customer from R/3 to CRM, however it resulted to an error saying Sales office O 50000620 sales group O 50000728 not maintained for sales area O 50000613 RM. So i changed the Org Structure in PPOMA_CRM to maintain the org structure as indicated in the bdoc error message. Then i tried to replicate it again. Now i got a new error saying Sales office O 50000620 sales group O 50000728 not maintained for sales area O 50000612 RK. I know that it is not possible to maintain the same org unit in 2 different org units. What do i need to do to correct this?

The problem is not wether all of the organizational units are in CRM because all of them are. The problem is i think because of the mapping. The sales Office and Sales Group of the material exixts in 2 sales Organizations that is why when i repplicate the Customer, it gives this error. I tried to maintain the new org in the Function Tab of the sales office and the sales group but it still gives me the error.
What can I do about this?

Annamalaido you know? ... the structure is like this... i have orgunit then a position to it and then i have assigned a business partner which is with prefix CP... i m not seeing the users assigned to it so my workflow doesnt get triggered if i use this org unit..

Organizational Units with Business Partner
Hi Experts,
I'm creating my organizational structure on CRM system: on transaction "PPOMA_CRM" I'm creating all the organizations I need. But I 'm facing with a problem: I'm not able to assign them a business partner. I mean: in the transaction "PPOMA_CRM" under the column "Business Partner" I'm not able to insert any business partner.
And on the other hand, if I go on transaction "BP" in order to define a new organization, when I select which is the BP role to use for the creation of the organization, I don't see BUP004.
Do you have any suggestions.
Why I can't see it?
And what I have to do to assign a business partner to an organization?

Please find below my answers:-
In a first moment I configured the HR-CRM integration and when I go on transaction PPOMA_CRM in order to display the Organizational Structure I can see, for each Organizational unit downloaded from HR, a business partner ID under the column "business partner". This is the same number ID which allows to identify the same Organizational Unit on transaction BP.
Answer- In Transaction BP you can find the same Org unit business prtner created in PPOMA_CRM.
Suppose you have created BP_Org in PPOMA_CRM which has got generated with certain BP number.But this will not reflect in transaction BP. All the Business Partners created under BP_Org will be getting reflected.
Now I deactivated the HR-CRM integration and when I create a new Organizational Unit on PPOMA_CRM I'm not able to fill the column "Business Partner".
Ans- If you have not maintained in HR-CRM Integration there will be no number range.
If I insert the Organizationa Unit ID (displayed on PPOMA_CRM) in transaction BP I don't get any results.
Ans- While searching in BP , first you donu2019t have option of searching BP with Org Unit ID but you will find number instead. But as I told you earlier this will search the Business Partner under your Root Organization in our case it is BP_Org. You cant search for BP_Org in Tx-BP
I need to assign a business partner to my organizational unit for escalation purposes since the escalation is succesfully only for the organizational units with that business partner ID, i.e. all the organizational units downloaded from HR.
So at the moment the escalation process doesn't work for the organizational units just created only on CRM standalone system.
I think it is possible to make it work also for these organizations, but I don't know how!
