Mass maintaining customer hierachy?
Hi there:
I know the transaction to maintain customer hierarchy is vdh1n,but I am wondering if I can mass assigning customers to their headquarter? Help.

You can try with LSMW or BDC recording
Else you can try with
FM BAPI_CUSTOMER_HIERARCHIE_UPD
Change and save assignments for the SD hierarchy.
FM BAPI_CUSTOMER_HIERARCHIE_INS
The function module inserts assignments into the customer hierarchy. These are imported with table NODE_LIST. The result log is in the table Return. The assignment can only be carried out for existing customers.

Fields mass maintainable using MASS
Hi All,
I have extended the material master tables MARA with custom fields. I now wish to make these fields mass maintainable using MASS.
When I go to the mass maintenance screen, I am able to see my fields there.when i cahnge the fields to blank it is is not saving.when i do for standared fields it saving the blanks.
please help me to make the custom fields to fill with blank values.
i created my idoc ZE1MARAM, fill in ZMG_MASS_NEWSEG-ADD_NEW_SEGMENT

Customer hierarchies are available in Sales and Distribution, so that you can create flexible hierarchies to reflect the structure of customer organizations. If your customer base includes multi-level buying groups, cooperatives, or chains of retail outlets, for example, you can create hierarchies to reflect the structure of these groups. Use customer hierarchies during sales order processing and billing for determining pricing and running statistics.
 A customer hierarchy consists of nodes.
 To create a customer hierarchy:
1. Create master records for each node.
2. Assign the nodes to each other.
3. Assign the customer master records to the relevant nodes.
 Hierarchy nodes are only valid for a certain period of time. They may also be moved. If a node is moved, the system automatically reassigns all related nodes and customer master records.
With customer hierarchies, you can assign price or rebate agreements to a higher level node. The agreements are then valid for customers at all subordinate levels to this node. You can create pricing condition records for each node indicated as relevant for pricing. If one or more nodes in the hierarchy path of a sales order contain pricing information, the system takes them into account automatically during pricing.

1) Define hierarchy type: just put and ID and a name to the new hierarchy.
2) Set partner determination: if you want to user the hierarchy in price determination, then, in the orders, at the header level, you have to have a Partner Procedure with a partner function for each level. In the partner procedure, in each partner function you must indicate the source partner function. With this information, in the order, you obtain the business partner for each partner function.
3) Assign account groups: you indicate which accounts groups are allowed for being part or your hierarchy.
4) Assign sales areas: simple you indicate which sales areas are allowed in your hierarchy. (Here you can customize common sales areas, just for not having to build de hierarchy in all the different sales areas).
5) Assigning hierarchy type for pricing: you indicate which classes of documents uses hierarchy in pricing determination.
It is possible to maintain so called customer hierarchies. This might be useful when for example you create a condition discount for a customer that is part of such a hierarchy structure. All subnodes in the hierarchy below that customer, will thus receive the same discount.
Customer hierarchy setup, firstly decide the hierarchy type to be used.
The standard is type A.
You can also assign a partner function to the customer so that the higher level customer in the hierarchy is copied into a sales order as a partner function - but you don't need that right?
Next assign your customer account group to the hierarchy type. And enter the combinations that will be allowed for creating the hierarchy.
You want to assign a ship-to to a payer. So enter the ship to account group and enter the payer account group as the higher level.
You must also make an entry for permitted sales area assignments. So if you want to a hierarchy for customers in the same sales area then enter the sales area and enter the same one as the higher level sales area.
All these settings can be found in the IMG. Under SD - master data - business partners - customers - customer hierarchy -
Mass Maintain for F-04 Post For Clearing

Is there any mass maintain for transaction F-04 Post For Clearing
i have about 1500 data ( debit and credit ). if i do manually entering i need to enter about 1500 times then save the document, i have using LSMW to pum the 1500 line item data but the LSMW got error,
When i recording i'm using two data and save, in the live it grap two data and save, actually i'm need to enter about 1500 in one document number,

If your requirement is for clearing the open items in a GL account please use F.13 which will do automatic clearing.You need not select each and every line item via F-04.

Mass maintainance of Vendor Master
Hi,
we have around 1000 vendors . For all the vendors the company code is common. But i have to extend a common purchase organisation to all the vendors. Also i have to add Schema group which is common & currency to all the vendors. What needs to be done in T. Code XK99. Let me know the steps in XK99 to maintain the scenario as described.

Select the Table Name from which you want to change the Field Value .
Execute and continue.
Put the range of vendor and other fields
Go for mass maintainance at menu bar select New field values.
Select the view tab
Field Popup box open
Select the Feild which you want to change and Pool it at selection Criteria by left arrow.and continue
Put New Value for feild .
Continue .
Execute .

why do you need this to do in the PR? Is the PR already assigned to a source of supply? if it is, why is then the valuation type wrong? -

- Mass maintenance for contracts: transaction code MEMASSCONTRACT
- Mass maintenance for scheduling agreements: transaction code MEMASSSA -

Planning-Version-Dependent Location Product Data Plng Version--- appears as a selection criteria but not as an attribute to be maintained. Below is my exact requirements.
Lets say i have manually created products A, B, C...upto Z at location 123 directly in APO.
Now i want to assign these product-locations combinations to 000 Planning version.
In MASSD T-CODE i am not able to location Planning version as an attribute to be maintained ( i.e at bottom most of the screen).
I hope you got my requirements and the problem i am facing.

For Mass Maitenance or Loading of Pricing Condition records, you can use LSMW. Here you can choose either a Standard Batch Input or Recording, or BAPI
The easiest what I felt is Recording. here if you opted to change condition records (you can choose VK12 as the T code) else if you wished to mass load the condition records you can choose VK11 or VK15.
once the recording is complete, you need to give a name to your recording, and then assign a Data structure name to it. after which you can assign the source fields. for this first you will create a list of source fields which you can get by checking what you have recorded, and pick the fields. (as there is an option to see the object list of your recording thus you can identify the recorded fields).
once the source fields are created, you need to map the source field with the source Structure. you can select each field and click the assign button which will pop up a list of the recorded fileds, you can then assign each of them to the respective source fileds. (this is what we call source field mapping)
The Next task is to specify and assign an input file, for LSMW script to read and convert. This input file should have all the records that you wish to add or change as per the source field record structure. You can create the input file as an XL file with all the data, and then save it as a .CSV file. and then specify during the assign file as it is a comma seperated delimiter.
then Choose the convert option to do a data conversion, and then finally process the Batch session, to check your results.
LSMW will successfully change or create Mass data (whether master records for pricing codition or whether mass sales /purchase Transaction data )

Maintain custom page size with bleed
I use CS4 and when working in Illustrator ( and later taking into a book in InDesign) how do I maintain custom page size with bleed in Illustrator when saving as PDF .
I have been told my files are not print ready and have no bleed even though I set a bleed and accurate (custom)page size initially. It seems I lose these when I save as a PDF for Printers to use.Sometimes and I will check the way I do that, though usually I move from
from AI , save as print quality PDF and still seem to lose the bleed. Is
there a setting I should be using for the PDF? -

Installed Base(ibase) data for segmentation/maintaining customer marketing
There is a need to use Installed Base(ibase) data for segmentation/maintaining customer marketing attributes e.g. whether customer on active support agreement(yes/no), product line, version no., etc.
So if the ibase data is updated, the changes should flow back to segmentation/marketing attributes of the business partner/
Please help with any approach which can be useful in this scenario.

Maintain Customs vendor in condition type
Dear all,
We have seperate pricing procedure for imports,we manually capture required customs duties in condition types in purchase order,Subsequently we need to do customs miro,for that we need to maintain customs vendor for every condition type,
Since we need to maintain everytime manually,Since for import zero tax code is involved,so how to maintain customs vendor for condition types so that it will automatically populate while creating import purchase order ?

i have same scenario for import, assign custom vendor to import condition if there is lot of line item is very hard task and user sometimes miss one of condition, so i create one prog. with abaper ZMMIMPORT_PO,after po. this programe excute input is excel file whre they mantain PO NO ,LINE ITEM,CONDITION Types ,Amount Currency ,Vendor,
so conditions are maintained after this prog.

Goto XD01 Select International Version and select the laungauge and maintain.
If it is not activated, goto SPRO> Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension)>Address Management>International Settings>Activate International Address Versions
