Mass Printing of Works Orders and Related Documentation

Hi everyone,
I have a very peculiar problem, and any pointers in the right direction will be appreciated.
If this is not the right forum, please point me into the right direction.
The problem that I have is this:
I print multiple Works Orders (Plant Maintenance) at a time.
Linked to these work orders are Equipments etc. and linked to the Equipments, SAP DMS documents. When priting the Work Orders, the sequence of the related information (e.g. documents) are random, i.e. a user will need to sort the prints to match the Work Order with it's relevant documents.
Essentially, what I need is: print #1 W/O with attached docs, then print #2 W/O with attached docs, then print #3 W/O with attached docs
Any ideas at what I need to look at?
You can imagine if I print 400 works orders and all the documents related to it and it in not collated.

Can you let me know what transaction / process which you are using to print work orders, In case if you are using any transaction then we will check for user exits / badis so that we may enhance the standard functionality.

    You can do that using standard t-code BS22.
    After calling t-code BS22 double click on system status I0001 - CRTD – Created.
    Then search for, so called business transaction ‘RMDR - Print Order’ and choose function Allowed.
    I have just done it in my sandbox and now I’m allowed to print  shop papers for work orders in status CRTD but as per default shop papers should be printed in REL status please analyze possible impact before changing anything in BS22.

  • Printing Completed Work Orders

    Hi, I have requirement to print work orders that have a status of TECO or CLSD. Standard SAP does not allow you to print work orders with the status TECO or CLSD. Does anyone know if there is some config that allows you to print work orders that have been completed? Or will we have to create a custom transaction for new a print program?

    Go to transaction BS22 which allows you to maintain business transactions for system statuses.  At the bottom of the left hand column you can enter the code for TECO which is I0045 and press Enter.  This will take you to that code.  Double click on that code to bring up the list of business transaction available for TECO.  Again at the bottom of the left hand column, enter RMDR which is the code for Print Order, and press Enter.  You may change the option from Forbidd to Permtd.  This will allow you to print TECO work orders.
    You can do the same for CLSD work orders using I0046.

  • Oracle EBS drill link targets for EAM Work Order and Asset

    Hi All - I am running Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and OBIEE 11g and I'm trying to link from OBIEE to EBS, but struggling to find the target functions / parameters to provide a direct URL link to EBS EAM Work Order and Asset. I have successfully linked to a Purchase Order View page, I would like to find the similar for EAM Asset and Work Order.
    I can see some parameters in WorkOrderDetailsPGCO but can't seem to work out how to get to the page from a URL.
    For reference MOS Note 555254.1 has some details, but not for EAM.
    Has anyone provided users in any reporting system with a link to EAM Work Order or Asset page and if so how were the links generated?

    I am giving this a bump as I really need some help with this. Is I run the SQL with TOAD or SQLPlus it seems to consistently runs fine, The problem seems to only be from APEX. I think it has do to with the non-persistent state.

    There is no mass confirmation cancellation Txn available in standard SAP.
    Use
    BAPI_ALM_CONF_CANCEL     Cancel confirmation for maintenance/service order

  • Different service costs in work order and purchase order

    When I add a service in a works order and later on add the vendor I get an incorrect planned cost in the order. A recalculation is not performed based on vendor price. A manual recalculation is possible but it should be done automatically on order save. Anybody familiair with his problem, and more importantly: Anybody got a solution for this?

    The service master / activity 123 has a specific price of 25,- For vendor XYZ the service master /activity has a price of 20,- When I create a work order and add service master / activity 123 first the price of 25,- appears. When I add the vendor XYZ in the work order and create a purchase requisition I presume the price of the vendor xyz (20,-) will appear in the PR. When I create a purchase order from the PR the price is still 25,- instead of 20,-. I get the same result when I manually change the price of the service master / activity. The price in the PR stays the same (20,-).

    Hi,
    When you click on print, system checks the status on the order. Normally when an order is having status REL printing is allowed, so at your check which status is preventing the printing of the order, revoke it temporarily to print & then you may restore it back.

    If you don't have those directories, obviously, you don't have the source release with cryptographic extensions. You have a different release.
    The version you downloaded isn't a source release but you still have the full kit.

  • How to print batch work orders displaying only 1 task

    I would like to know if it possible to print in large groups only task 0010 and then print task 0020 in another batch and so on. Excluding everything else except for the designated task number.I hope this makes sense.

    I have just worked this out.
    I copy all the work order numbers and copy them into Z4022 (WORK ORDER MASS PROCESSING)
    Then I can sort to whatever is required.
    Highlight a specific group or type and then press the print operations button located next to the release button on the ribbon.
    Note: If task 0010 and 0020 is both highlighted together they do not print seperate.

  • Work orders and updating user status (via IW32)

    Hello All,
    I was given a design to create a program that will retrieve all open work orders. The program needs to check on all the purchase orders for that work order to check if order quantity matches the received quantity and the invoice quantity. If it matches, I will do an IW32 to change the user status to 'AIP' (All Invoices Paid). If there are no invoices or purchase orders, I will again, do an IW32 to change the user status to 'AIP'.
    And since this is my first time to work on a PM ticket, I'm not very familiar with the tables being used. I've tried looking for a list of PM tables. One table I got is AUFK (Order Master Data). I searched through the table and it has the fields for Sales Order Number (KDAUF) and Item Number (KDPOS). Is this the Purchase Order related to the work order? Also, is there a way I can see or verify it through a transaction? I tried looking into transaction IW33 but I couldn't find any Purchase Order Number there. Also, how do you know if a work order is open or not? Is there a field that indicates it?
    I was thinking if there are any BAPI's I can use to change a work order's user status instead of doing a CALL TRANSACTION 'IW32'? I saw a function module, RFC_CHANGE_PM_ORDER, that does a remote function call to IW32 but this has dialogs. I'd appreciate any input.

    You can use the BAPI - BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to maintain orders.
    Given below few order related tables
    AUFK     -Production order headers
    AFIH     -Maintenance order header
    AUFM     -Goods movement for prod. order
    AFKO     -Order header data PP orders
    AFPO     -Order item
    RESB     -Order componenten
    AFVC     -Order operations
    AFVV     -Quantities/dates/values in the operation
    AFVU     -User fields of the operation
    AFFL     -Work order sequence
    AFFH     -PRT assignment data for the work order(routing)
    JSTO     -Status profile
    JEST     -Object status
    AFRU     -Order completion confirmations

  • User status profiles for work orders and sub-orders

    Hi Experts,
    I have the following question regarding status profiles for SAP PM work orders (but I guess it relates to all user status profiles).
    Customizing
    A status profile is defined for order type "PM_A", which contains an authorization key "OP" for certain user states (to be set by the ordering party)
    Situation
    The ordering party A creates an order of type PM_A for contractor B, and B then creates a sub-order of type PM_A for contractor C
    Problem
    - If I assign the authorization key "OP" only to roles of party A, then party B can't set the user states reserved for the ordering party (correct for the order A->B, but not for the sub-order B->C)
    - If I assign the authorization key "OP" to roles of party A and party B, then B could set certain user states reserved for the ordering party in the order A->B, which is also wrong
    Question
    Is there a way to restrict sub-orders differently than "non-sub-orders", or do I have to create a "sub-order order-type" for each order type, in order to assign them different status profiles and authorization keys?

    since you have 3 roles to be assigned to the same order type with different authorization ,it is better you create an seperate order type for sub order and assign the user status with authorization for B and C

    am a bit new with PM process, can anyone tell me how to do a work order with notification on it and confirmation will be made to the work order? please guide me step by step which is first to do and the transaction for each?

    there is no separate confirmation for notifications, you can close the notification from IW22, or when you close order system willclose notifiaction also
    Choose Logistics ® Customer service ® Service processing or Logistics ® Plant maintenance ® Maintenance processing.
    You reach service processing or maintenance processing.
    Choose Orders ® Change.
    Enter the order number and call up the header data screen or the operation overview.
    For information on how to enter technical findings when completing the order, see Entering Technical Findings.
    Choose Order ® Functions ® Complete ® Complete (techn.).
    The dialog box Complete is displayed.
    Check the information in the dialog box and change it where necessary. If you want to complete the notifications contained in the object list at the same time, choose Complete notifications.
    Choose Complete.
    The system completes the order technically, assigns the relevant status to it, and saves it.
    It completes all notifications with the appropriate status. If assigned notifications cannot be completed, a message is displayed by the system informing you of this.
    Process these notifications accordingly and then complete them.
    You can do this either directly with the change function for notifications, or from the order.
    As before, call up the order using the change function, and choose
    Order ® Functions ® Complete ® Complete notifications
    Once you save the order, the outstanding notifications are also completed.

  • Work Order and parent/child relationship

    I have been looking into the vision instance. There is an Asset-Rebuildable relationship, that is Forklif and it's battery. If there is a work order on the forklik "replace battery" can this be done automatically, or is this all manual.
    1. When I pick the new battery from stores the S/N of the battery is associated with the forklif (automatic I tested this)
    2. When I say "remove the old battery" should't the old battery parent/child relationship between the parent be broken and a child work order "charge" for the battery be logged. I could not reproduce that, but queried that this is what happens in vision. Are all these supposed to be manual?

    From this plan, we can't easily get the parent child relationship like autotrace. Is there a way to get like autotrace?
