Internal errors usually indicate a bug somewhere.
What are your exact Reports version, database version and operating system? Developer 6i release2 and 10g are not the exact version numbers.

    Perhaps you have "Flex Mode" selected in the Layout Editor? It's the button next to the padlock button.

  • The problem about  integrate  Portal and R/3 : vendor query report problem

    Hi everyone :
       We want to achieve that our vendor can query R/3 report via our Portal. I had done SSO configuration.
       But we had about 500 vendors, it is impossible that we create 500 R/3 users for our vendors,  because the cost is too much .
       And there is another problem, vendor who had the authorization to query report can query the other vendor's data at same time. But we expect that certain vendor can query his data only.
       I think this is a general problem when integrate Portal and R/3, BW .
       Is there somebody had solved this problem or give any advice?
       Any discuss is welcome.
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
    I would say: get in contact with your SAP account manager anc check which options SAP can offer you...
    Normally every user using a R/3 system has to have a valid user license in that system. Expecially when you want to access control to data on user (vendor) level you nedd to identifiy the user clearly and uniquely which by standard means you need a user for every vendor.

  • Query report problem

    I copied all query reports from one old database to another new database using a copy express.
    But while executing the query report in the current new database.
    It is showing an error" FORM NOT FOUND [66000-9]"

    Sometimes the errors provide little information as feedback to correct the problem.  I would suggest that you review the query iin both databases and see if have been copied correctly.  Secondly make sure all field and table references in the query actually exists in the copied database.

  • Dynamic query report problem

    I have followed the tutorial in on dynamic query and created a region where the type is SQL Query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL Query)
    The source is
    declare
    q varchar2(4000);
    teatid NUMBER := :P305_TARGET_ID;
    begin
    wwv_flow.debug('teatid = ' || teatid);
    q:=' select f.id, ';
    q:=q||' f.eat_id ';
    q:=q||' from xmlTransactions f ';
    q:=q||' where f.eat_id = ' || teatid; -- I've also tried putting :P305_TARGET_ID here
    wwv_flow.debug('sql = ' || q);
    return q;
    end;
    I have chosen "Use Generic Column Names...".
    When I run the page, I get NO ROWS FOUND. However, when I cut and paste the SQL statement printed out by the debug statement and run it, it returns rows. Both debug statements print correct values.
    I'm not sure what the problem is here, but basically, I want to do a query where I substitute a value passed into the page from another page.
    In this case the value in P305_TARGET_ID is passed in via a button spawning a popup as in var url = 'f?p=&APP_ID.:305:&APP_SESSION.::::P305_TARGET_ID:' + targetID;
    APEX version is 3.0.1.00.08
    Thank you.
    - JohnW

    Hi, JohnW
    I don't understand why you use a dynamic query for that.
    A "direct" SQL query like this :
    select f.id,f.eat_id from xmlTransactions f where f.eat_id=:P305_TARGET_ID;
    should work.

  • Matrix multiple rows adding problem

    Hi all,
    In a SDK developed form, have a button "Add Row". When press Add Row a new row has to be added in the matrix.
    I' ve written the set of codes as
    Private Sub SBO_Application_ItemEvent(ByVal FormUID As String, ByRef pVal As SAPbouiCOM.ItemEvent, ByRef BubbleEvent As Boolean) Handles SBO_Application.ItemEvent
            Dim oitem As SAPbouiCOM.Item
            Try
                If (FormUID = "Frm_itemsupplier") Then
                    If (pVal.Before_Action = False) Then
                        'Add Row
                        If (pVal.ItemUID = "AddRow") And (pVal.EventType = SAPbouiCOM.BoEventTypes.et_ITEM_PRESSED) Then
                            Dim f As SAPbouiCOM.Form
                            Dim oMatrix As SAPbouiCOM.Matrix
                            f = SBO_Application.Forms.Item(FormUID)
                            oMatrix = f.Items.Item("mat1").Specific
                            f.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Clear()
                            oMatrix.AddRow(1)
                        End If
    But at run time, when press Add row button first time this will add one row.  Then I cancel the form, open the same form then press add row Button, 1+1 rows are adding in the matrix. If I do the above(cancel and open the form again), keep on increasing rows additionally on every time.
    Let me get a solution how to solve the issue and I will be appreciated.
    Thanks & regards,
    Venkatesan g.

    try it as
    Private Sub SBO_Application_ItemEvent(ByVal FormUID As String, ByRef pVal As SAPbouiCOM.ItemEvent, ByRef BubbleEvent As Boolean) Handles SBO_Application.ItemEvent
    Dim oitem As SAPbouiCOM.Item
    Try
    If (FormUID = "Frm_itemsupplier") Then
    If (pVal.Before_Action = False) Then
    'Add Row
    If (pVal.ItemUID = "AddRow") And (pVal.EventType = SAPbouiCOM.BoEventTypes.et_ITEM_PRESSED) Then
    Dim f As SAPbouiCOM.Form
    Dim oMatrix As SAPbouiCOM.Matrix
    f = SBO_Application.Forms.Item(FormUID)
    oMatrix = f.Items.Item("mat1").Specific
    f.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Clear()
                        Dim cell As SAPbouiCOM.Cell
                        Dim col As SAPbouiCOM.Column
                        Dim ed As SAPbouiCOM.EditText
                        col = omatrix1.Columns.Item(1)
                        cell = col.Cells.Item(1)
                        ed = cell.Specific
                        if ed.String <> "" then
    oMatrix.AddRow(1,0)
    end if
    End If
    this will test before addrow if there exist blank first row and in case that no, it will add new row. The sample test for column index 1 and first row.
    Hope it`s what you need.

  • Multiple Query Generation from Discoverer?

    Is there anyway we can generate multiple query reports in discoverer plus? I have a daily dashboard which we send out on daily basis which has multiple queries to generate certain numbers. And I have a stored procedure for this. Is it possible to have multiple queries in 1 workbook to generate the report? If yes, then how? If not then, can we have this stored procedure in disco admin tool in a specific business area which basically kicks the SQL and stores the data in a table within that business area and in disco plus tool we can then simply select all the data from that table to generate the report? I would really appreciate if anyone could answer this.
    Thanks,
    K

    Another interesting way you can prepare a table is a method I've just seen using Disco 4.x.
    We've made such a big deal on using triggers recently, that this was so simple, I must admit I never thought of it.
    What the user did was have a function that called a pl/sql routine that did all the work and created the table.
    Then in the Disco workbook, they specified workbook 1 - the first workbook that took in parameters from the users, and passed the parameters into the function (ie: a from date and to date).
    The workbook didn't return any column from any folders, etc. but just presented the calculation that called the function.
    So, in a nutshell, the user runs the first worksheet where 2 parameters are asked for. Then when finished, it means the table is now ready for the real action so they go to the 2nd. worksheet and it just runs without any parameters but refers to the table set up by the first worksheet.
    No parameter passing to the EUL, nothing fancy, but all done in the function that called the pl/sql routine. Very easy.
    So, for you, you should be able to use the same concept, but in batch, run the first worksheet (ie: putting in the 2 parameters), and then just run the 2nd. worksheet once the first is finished and the table setup.
    Hope it helps.

  • MATRIX WITH GROUP     (REPORT TOTAL PROBLEM)

    DEAR FRIENDS,
    I HAVE A PROBLEM IN GROUP ABOVE MATRIX IN THE REPORT TOTAL.
    THE SCENARIO IS THIS...
    VEHICLE : CAR
    ----------------------- WEEK1 WEEK2 WEEK3 TOTAL
    ESTEEM 10 30 40 80
    ZEN 30 40 10 80
    DELUX 40 30 10 80
    SUB TOTAL 80 100 60 240
    VEHICLE : VAN
    ----------------------- WEEK1 WEEK2 WEEK3 TOTAL
    OMNI 10 30 40 80
    OMNIDX 30 40 10 80
    OMNILX 40 30 10 80
    SUB TOTAL 80 100 60 240
    GRAND TOTAL 160 200 120 480.
    IN THIS VEHICLE IS THE GROUP AND WEEK1,WEEK2... IS MATRIX COLUMNS AND ZEN,ESTEEM IS MATRIX ROWS.
    I AM UNABLE TO INCORPORATE THE GRAND TOTAL IN THIS TYPE OF REPORT. I AM USING 10G VERSION 9.0.4.
    PLEAE TELL ME HOW TO DO THAT.
    THANKS
    VENKY.

    If you got your subtotals to work than getting your grand total shouldn't be difficult at all. Your grand total column summaries should be one grouping above where your subtotal column summaries reside. I am guessing this will put them at the report level. Meaning they will not be in a group, just free floating in your data model. Good luck.

  • Binds in Master/Detail Reports: Problems and Solutions

    I've been trying to use bind variables in the master report of master/detail reports with multiple detail reports; but, I've been getting a problem with the detail reports not displaying data.
    Here's a sample sequence of events:
    1) Select the master/detail report under User Defined Reports.
    2) Connect to a DB (if necessary).
    3) Enter any value(s) for the bind(s) for the master report.
    4) Select a row in the master report.
    5) The currently selected detail report displays column names and data.
    6) Select a different detail report.
    7) Nothing displays except column names.
    8) Select a different detail report.
    9) Nothing displays except column names.
    10) Click the currently selected row in the master report.
    11) Now the current selected detail report displays (column names and) data.
    I have found that if, I am more selective with my bind variable names, I can get things to work as expected.
    First, let me show an example of some SQL that was giving me problems.
    Master Report:
    select distinct OWNER
    from SYS.ALL_OBJECTS
    where (OWNER like :OWNER or :OWNER is NULL)
    Detail Reports:select *
    from SYS.ALL_OBJECTS
    where OWNER = :OWNER
    and OBJECT_TYPE = 'INDEX'replacing 'INDEX' with other values for the other detail reports.
    (I did have this problem with other SQL too but hopefully this SQL will run on everyone's DB.)
    The first solution I found was to change the name of the bind in the master to something like OWNER_BIND.
    The second solution I found was to change the master to
    select distinct OWNER as POWNERand change the detail reports to
    where OWNER = :POWNERAnother solution might be to adjust the bind variable names' case, but I didn't look at that.
    While I was trying different things to get this to work, one of the goofy things that SQL Developer did was add <binds>s to the <query>s of the detail reports in my UserReports.xml. IIRC, it even did this to a master/detail report that I was not editing. So, if you run into this problem, you might want to open your UserReports.xml and clean it up by hand. (Actually, that might be good advice for other problems too.)
    Tip: I've had other problems with my User Reports such as disappearing reports; so, not only do I regularly make copies my UserReports.xml, I also save report(s) into separate XML files and use Tools > Preferences... > Database > User Defined Extensions to add REPORT-type extensions to SQL Developer. (Kris Rice talked a bit about REPORT-type extensions in this blog entry: http://krisrice.blogspot.com/2006/11/xml-extension-points-reports.html)
    FYI: I'm using sqldeveloper-1.1.2.2579 on Windows XP w/ SP2. The DB is Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production.

    Here is the complete XML exported from a problem report. If you want to use this, save it as an XML file then import that file from within SQL Developer (ie, right-click on User Defined Reports and choose Import).
    Notice that there are <binds>s on the detail reports. They don't belong there; only the one on the master report belongs. (The <binds> is specified by the Binds tab when creating a report. They are for prompting the user for value(s) and you cannot do that in child reports.) Even if I removed the <binds>s from the detail reports before importing the XML file, I still see the problem. SQL Developer also ends up putting them back. I think that it might happen to each detail report individually as it is visited when using (ie, not editing) the master/detail report.

  • Issue in transaction code creation for sap query report .

    Hi  Gurus,
    I have a requirement to create transaction codes for sap query reports. I found two ways to create transaction code for sap query report
    1) By Generating program for sap query report and creation of transaction code for that generated Program. in tcode.
    2) By using parameter transaction options in start object of se93
    What are the difference between creation of these two ways. Please specify  the advantages and disadvantages of both methods.
    Regards,
    Suneel Kumar Uggina.

    Hi Jogeswara Rao,
    But I am getting problem while transporting form development system to  the production system. After transporting to Production system  I have used the code created in development system, but it is giving Error ' No Program Found for that Transaction Code. And  I would like to know  on what conditions should I have to  use the First one  and as well as a second one in sap query reports.
    Thank You,
    Suneel Kumar Uggina.
