Mis-selling of services, ofcom and poor service..

Just three of the many negative points I will be advertising about BT on any forum I possibly can.
A week of complaining and getting hung up on by "managers", along with lies and contradictory information from almost any person I have the dissatisfaction of talking to.
I shouldn't be surprised. BT were the same with my dads account and it seems the same with so many others on here.
Just today I have had Nina drop my call, then Moulisha passing me through to his manager who hung up on me as he didn't want to discuss my issues. Now I'm onto Niraj who is having "system issues" and so can't help.
At least your infinity package you sold me is as good as those 7 other individuals told me it would be... Oh yeah I forgot, after 2 days off work waiting for an engineer, your rather angry and rude back office staff call to tell me you don't actually do it in my area!
At least she kept interrupting and talking over me to stop me complaining on that occasion.. Like a true professional, even when I left my phone on my desk I could still hear her shouting at me like it was my fault you lied to me to get me to sign up.
That's ok though cos you will have my internet working by the end of this week like you promised me every time I have called.. What's that Nina??? Next Wednesday? You can't do anything as I have a open order for infinity??? The same infinity you cancelled without telling me on the 25th of November as you don't provide it in my area??? Oh well, at least you always have the option of hanging up on me!
At least you didn't charge me for sending out the router for infinity that I can't get in my area. Oh you have charged me!?? Oh good.
But that's ok as you do care at least as your going to get your magic department to call me back tomorrow (Tuesday), or tomorrow (Wednesday), or tomorrow (Thursday)??? No, tomorrow still hasn't turned up yet. Must mean a different thing in that part of the world (The North West of England if anyone was interested).

    I  am working on creating some date for EBS Service, and I am unable to open 'Find Service Request' and 'Create Service Request' HTML forms.
    I keep getting the error message :

    Navigate to System Administrator responsibility > Profile > System. Search for the profile MO: Operating Unit and under responsibility field, put in the responsibility name you are using for creating the service request, click OK and enter the desired operating unit value in the next window. It pulls up all operating units defined and you can chose the desired one.

    Hi,
    Service Tax is charged by the service vendor and you pay the service tax to the vendor along with his payment. Once you pay the service tax, it is the liability of the vendor to pay the service tax amount collected from you to the Government.
    GTA is Goods Transport Authority. When you receive any service from any transport vendor, he will not charge service tax from you though it attracts service tax. It is your liability to pay the service tax to Government for the services received from the transport vendor.
    In case of normal service tax it is treated as input tax and credit for the same is taken (similar to excise). But, in case of GTA you have to create the liability at the time of receiving the service and make the payment directly to the Government.

    Workbench is used to create, display and modify the objects. It will display the source table data and we can see the logs of the job which we have executed and also we can see the status of a job. In bods 4.2 you can design the dataflow in workbench in previous release we don’t have that option but designer contains debugging option, you can write scripts,  it will support all databases; these option are not available in workbench. for more information refer this document:

  • BT Infinity issues and poor service

    I reported an issue with the Infinity team that I can not access the internet several times a day and the only solution is to switch off the hub for several minutes and then switch it back on.
    After several calls to the helpdesk and not being provided with any information as to the 'fixes' which have been applied I was in a call yesterday for 15 minutes waiting for my call to be escalated as I requested. The call was cut off! I actually got a call back and an apology! I said that I had spent too long on the phone 'waiting' for someone to explain what had been done to date to attempt to resolve my issue but no answers were provided. I was informed that the case had been closed! I questioned why and was informed that someone had spoken to my wife and closed the case. This is incorrect as nobody has spoken to my wife and she would not state the issue had been resolved has it clearly has not!
    I was promised yesterday that a supervisor would phone me back to discuss the case as I am not happy at all. This poor service is costing me money as I am not capable of working without the broadband connection!
    I would like someone to take ownership of my issue and provide me with the service I expect from paying for this premium service!
    I've just looked at the closed case which I was informed had been re-opened I can see no update and that it is still closed!
    Please open it now and provide an update as promised on several occasions.

  • Sony Xperia Z1 Water Resistivity false advertising and poor service from service center

    I have bought Sony Xperia Z1 from eBay on 31 October 2013. I have been using this phone for nearly a year. The phone was good in performance but comes to water resistivity it will resist water for a few months but after few months even though the card slot and all flops are closed, the water gets in.I have faced this on 7th September when i was about to take a photo in pool, the water gets in and the phone was dead. And i took it to the service center ( Repair and Return Technology (I) Pvt Ltd) Egmore, chennai, on 9th September 2014. On 15th September i got a call that i have to pay nearly 20000 to rectify the phone. Then i called the service center and also sent mail to [email protected] and said that i was not satisfied with the reply. Then few days i again got mail like below

    We had received your Sony XPERIA Z1 at our Authorized Service Centre – M/S Repair and Return Technology, Egmore, vide Work Order No.W114090906449 with the nature of complaint “Cannot Power On”.
    Upon physical inspection of the product by our engineers, the phone was found to be damaged due to external cause of liquid regression. As we mentioned in our Warranty Terms and Conditions, this service is not covered under Warranty. The Main Board needs to be replaced for satisfactory working of the product. The estimate for this service is Rs 12,488/- and Service charge is Rs.350/-.
    This matter has been discussed with our management.
    We regret that we are unable to comply with your request for free of cost service. We would once again request you to kindly approve the estimate so that we can proceed for service.

    They just mention the flags turn red and so the water has got in. They were unable to explain how the water got in. I have seen several forums that many users facing this kind of issues even all the flaps are closed. I was completely stressed and depressed to hear this. I halfheartedly asked the service center to do the service on 1 October 2014. Today's date is 11 October 2014 but still now i haven't heard any update from SONY. When i asked SONY customer care or service center, they dont even know the status of the product, they saying that the phone has been given for service to next level, I have to wait for few days, But i have been waiting for 1 month. I was completely fed up with Sony Service as they are not even called me once regarding this. I have to call each and every time and not even get proper reply. Its very irritating.
    If SONY is viewing this do necessary action or else you'll lose a premium customer and more customers in future.
    Even though i got the phone how can i use this phone in water ? I completely lost trust in SONY and never buy any SONY product again. I'll go for Micromax next time.

    Beware of buying Xperia Water resistant products as it may not guarantee waterproof and they don't even give warranty if your phone got water.

    I have had the same problem I have wrote to customer services and I keeping the same reply, that the phone has to be less than 1.5 meters, less than half an hour....... blah blah blah.
    My phone failed in water and I had met all the conditions but they keep fobbing me off I have asked why they advertise the phone as waterproof when obviously its not.  The last reply I got was well it might not be waterproof.
    Absolute rubbish the phone and the customer service.  and dont get me started on the smartwatch that failed in water as well it never worked I threw it in the bin.
    Aviod sony products absolute junk I say.

  • SRVR(Service Request) and SRVO(Service Order) are not appearing in IC_Agent

    Dear friends,
    We are planning to implement Service Requests and Service Orders in CRM 7.0 Interaction Center
    The Service Transactions(Service Order/Service Request) are available in 'Service Professional' business role but not available in 'IC_AGENT' role.
    The things i have observed
    1. Without the channel the Transaction Type was not appearing in SAP GUI (CRMD_ORDER)
    2. Even after maintaining the Channels the BUS2000223 (Service Request) did not appear in CRMD_ORDER but the SRVO- Service Order transaction type appeared.(BUS2000116 Service Process)
    3. Have maintained the SRVO and SRVR transaction types as dependent transaction types in the 'Business Transaction Profile'; still when clieck on the Service Request or Service Order create I am getting the below error
    'No transaction type is available for creating a transaction'
    Below is the diagnosis
    Diagnosis
    No transaction type is available when creating a transaction. This can be due to the following reasons:
    No transaction type is available according to Customizing
    The user has no authorization for the transaction type
    System Response
    It is not possible to create the transaction.
    Procedure
    Make sure that:
    The transaction type is set up in Customizing
    The user has authorization for the transaction type
    Can you please guide me where the actual issue is

    Can I create a service order with more than one service I mean one document but contains multiple services and assign each service to a person responsible? And how?

    You can create one service order with multiple service products,
    the document will have both header and item level in both u need to assign the partner processing (emp responsible including) if there r different line items with different emp responsible u can satisfy ur issue.
    abt theheader and item level some information:
    understand what is transaction type? and the structure of the Transaction type.
    The Transaction type determines the characteristics and attributes( what is the document category ,which Organizational data profile is allowed, which status profile is allowed, which action profile is allowed, which date profile is allowed, which Subject profile is allowed,which text determination profile is allowed, which partner determination profile is allowed and the number ranges for that particular transaction) of a particular transaction.
    For example it says whethere the corresponding transaction is used for Lead, Opportunity or Sales order.
    When it comes to Structure of a Transaction
    it contains Header level data, Item level data and Schedule line data.
    So Header level data is controlled by Transaction type.
    Next comes Item level data The Item level data is controlled by Item category.
    The Item category determines the characteristics and attributes of a line Item.
    for example( it says whether the item is relevant for pricing or not, whether the item is relevant for billing or not, whether the item is relevant for shipping or not etc.)
    The Item category will be determined automatically by the system at the run time depending upon the following key factors
    Sales doc typeItem categoryHigher level Item+Item Usage
    Hope this will help you in understanding Header level data and Item level data of a transaction.

  • Oracle Web Services Manager and Stateful Services

    Hi,
    I was wondering if anybody could help or provide guidance on stateful web services and the OWSM.
    I've registered a stateful web service with the OWSM. I also selected the "Keep-Alive" option as well, but this prob. doesn't pertain to stateful web services. But it doesn't seem to register the fact that its a stateful web service. When I call it, I have a packet analyzer that looks at the TCP trace and no Session id is sent back in the headers on the client side, which is on a separate box. Obviously, running it directly with Java and Axis works fine.
    We are using a gateway for the OWSM, not an agent. The web service is successful in getting called through OWSM but the problem is that no session information is sent back to client so subsequent calls fail b/c the web service requires the state and what the previous call was. This web service is a .NET service and resides on a different server/box than the Oracle SOA suite.
    Are there any tutorials/information out there that would tell me how to register a stateful web service with the OWSM? Eventually we'd like to connect the OWSM to an ESB and that would require it to be stateful as well obviously.

    Is there any difference between ICSS servicerequest and standard service order srvo. can i use SRVO directly in ICSS instead of ICSS service request.

    Hi Priya,
    Yes, there are differences (major) between the ICSS Service Request and a standard CRM Service Order.
    A service request in ICSS is basically a query to ask for a specific service when they cannot resolve the problem on-line using other tools such as FAQ's or the solution search.   Service requests can be linked to both registered and non-registered products and installed bases.  Contracts that cover the requested service will be searched for and warranties can be validated as well.  Appointment scheduling for a requested service can be set up as well.
    That is about the extent.
    True end-to-end service order processing is realized only in the CRM Service Order.  Here you can plan the service, execute and bill for a service.  You can maintain items (which cannot be done in a service request) such as spare parts, triggering of availability checks, pricing, credit checks, etc... The system will create a sales order for sales related items, thus executing on order to cash back-end business processes.
    As you can see they are very different.
    ICSS does not support true SAP CRM service order processing thus you cannot use this standard order type in ICSS.

  • No service issue and poor battary life on iphone 5?!?!?!?!?1

    cmon Apple./I have had my iphone 5 for over a month and keep getting this no service issue,..,the battary is terrible,.wont even last 8 hours with light browsing and I ahve used all the battary saving tricks,.I dont ask for much from this expensive gadget,.I just use it to text call and look at the net,.all three of which I have had problems with from day one!!!!! My iphone 3gs which I had for 3 years never gave me one problem?I have read countless threads on this issue,.please can you sort it out of help or offer a refund,.I am actually wanting to go back to my 3gs its got so bad and I am tired of reading all day to find a solution,.Apple used to just work!!what happened?

    Went to apple again. Same problem. Drains 5% an hour on standby with everything shut and airplane mode. They said this is "normal" and REFUSED to replace my phone as the battery health was normal. They say, "The hardware is ok, so we cannot replace the phone". I had them do a full restore from recovery mode. DId not help.
    Just to reiterate. I have done EVERYTHING- restore, full restore, shut apps, turned of location services, wifi, network, push mail, BG app refresh and reduced motion and set auto-lock to 1 min. Even auto-brightness is off and screen is at 30% brightness.
    Now I am stuck. Poor battery and uncompramising apple. This is perhaps making me anti-apple from an apple fan.
    Just wanted to ask, are such usage times and standby times normal? They are much less than what apple claims.
