Mismatch in the fixed values

Hello Experts,
         I have 2 fields named diag code and proc code and their data lenght is 6 and 5 respectively. They have a code digit and a description master data attached. In diag code I see it correctly under the values in the query i.e.
000123    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
      whereas for proc code under values I see the description which is wrong. I see that everything is defined similarly so why this mismatch. Where do i check these?

To make sure that I understand you properly I'll describe the situation.
You have 2 IOs, with code length 5 and 6. The codes (keys) of IOs are supposed to be like '00123' or '000123'. You determined text (short, long or medium) which is to be like '000123xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx', i.e., the code concatenated with some alphanumeric sequence.
For first IO you see its text as '00123xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx', for the second you see 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'.
Is it the correct situation then you feed your second IO with 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx', without concatenation.
How do you make the text concatenation? If it goes from a flat file without any data transformation in URs or TRs (with concatenated text) then you have to prepare the proper data format.
If you use some data transformation then check your TRs and URs. You definitely don't do the concatenation for the 2nd IO.

Hi SD Gurus,
With in the Sales Order in the line item level in the billing tab we have the fixed value date (VBKD - VALDT) were entered.
But when we try to execute the report VA05 were the fixed value date column shows empty (i.e without the date it shows the blank). Can you any one help me with regard.
We would like to fix this problem.

Ok.
Goto t-code SQVI,SAP Quickviewer.
Give a name to your query and enter description ,etc.
Next enter the table from which you want to fetch data,ie,VBKD .
Select "Layout mode" for displaying data on the SAP screen or "Basis mode " if you want to extract the data to a word doc,excelsheet or a flat file.
Next you can select the fields you want to display into your report,their position and ascending/descending order,Here make sure u select
the field u need to display ie. the fixed value date ( VALDT) .
also select the fields u wish to have in the selection criteria.
Enter these required information and u would get a report on the SAP screen or in your desired format.

The domain has a Value range i want to read those values .
Are these values stored in any table ?

Hi Chandra Shekhar,
To read the 'Input help with fixed values' of domain , you can use the function module : HR_P_GET_FIXED_VALUE_TEXT.
iIf you enter the domain name, you will find the fixed values entered in the domain.
These values are stored in a table DD07L(DD zero 7 L). Here the values are stored based on domain name.
See if it works for you.

How to associate a fixed $ value to a date cell?

I'm trying to keep track of payments made, according to date.
I have one column where I enter dates.
Can I associate these date cells to a fixed $ value, so that each time I enter a new date the SUM cell will automatically update?

By "associate these cells to a fixed $ value," I assume you mean that fixed value will be added to the sum as each date in sentered.
Here are two examples, one showing the fixed amount in the adjacent column when the date (or anything) is entered in column A, the other showing only the total.
Both use a second table to hold the fixed value, making it easy to edit, if necessary.
Formulas:
(Method 1)
B2, and filled down to B10: =IF(LEN(A)>0,Fixed value :: A$2,"")
LEN(A) returns the length (in character) of the entry in the cell in this row of column A. If anything is entered, the IF condition is TRUE, and IF returns the value in A2 of the smaller table. If nothing has been entered, the condition is FALSE, and IF returns a null string to the cell.
B11: =SUM(B)
Row 11 is a Footer row, and is not included in the cells to be summed.
(Method 2)
D11: =Fixed value :: A2*COUNTA($A)
COUNTA counts the number of entries in column A of the Main table, then multiplies the fixed value in the small table by the result of the count and returns the result.
This formula may be placed in any cell.
(Both methods)
The cell reference to Fixed Value::A2 (or Fixed Value::A$2) may be replaced with the actual value, and the second table eliminated, if desired.

Function Module to validate a value against domain fixed values

Could anybody please let me know if there is a standard Function Module that takes a Value and Domain name as an input and checks if the input value exists in the Fixed Values of the domain.

Hi,
you can use fm FM_DOMAINVALUE_CHECK. Pass parameter values for I_DOMNAME and I_DOMVALUE.
If the value is invalid, exception VALUE_NOT_ALLOWED will occur.

Fixed Value Date at line item level is not in changable mode when copied

Dear SDN Team,
Hi i have a problem in the Fixed Value date at the line item level in the Return sales order.
The Problem is When creating the return order with reference to the scheduling agreement (10.03.2010). In the Return sales Order at the line item level the fixed value date is coping from scheduling agreement item (fixed value date eg: 31.12.2009)
But i would like to have the fixed value date in the return order as 10.03.2010 but the field is greyed out.
But normally when the sales document is created with reference to the preceding document the same will be copied. But field is greyed out and it is not in changable mode.
Can any one help how to solve this.
I have checked also SAP Note where i did not find any messages.
In normal scenario - when the order is created without any reference the fixed value date is in changable mode until the document is in open.
Pleas help me to resolve this.

I am sharing the resolution which was done to this requirement.
We have a specific condition type with statisticaly used and with routine to have KWERT with zero value,
Based on the different key combination. We have a specific key combination for the SA and SDoc and for this we need to maintain a condition record for the condition type with fixed value date and which will be linked to only the specific document. Once this is done.
We need to do update pricing in the sales order for the particular line item. by doing this the Fixed value date will be changed in the particular line item.

Fixed values of dynamic attributes are not displayed for bid response

I have created a bid with dynamic attributes and have weighted the options with fixed values. I publish the Rfx (bid) and all is ok. The problem is that the fixed values are not displaying when doing a bid response.
We are using SRM 7.0

No. Not yet. I think it is a bug. You should create an OSS message to SAP and ask them to pay special attention to the following code block:
Class: /SAPSRM/CL_CH_WD_DODM_DYNATTR
Method: /SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~REFRESH
At the end of the method, look for code context:
IF lv_object_type = c_qte.
*Set the Fixed Values Table to Invisible
lv_visible = abap_false.

DrillDown in ALV for fixed values of domains

Hi,
i want to create an ALV Grid with an structure that has data elements with domains containing fixed values.
As far as i know, in Table Controls and other dynpro fields refering to such domains, the drilldown function is automatically available.
In an ALV-Grid the values are available with the F4-Button.
Ok, you can select a value, but the value is shown in the grid is the fixed value not the short text of the value like it is in Table Controls. What I did is to implement an conversion exit to show the short text in the grid, but I am not really satisfied.
What I ask you: Is there a possability to show a field of the ALV-Structure with drilldown functionality automatically, when the domain has fixed values?

Hi Michael,
I think I have found the solution to your problem. When you call the method SET_DROP_DOWN_TABLE of the ALV Grid, you can see that there are two tables parameters (both of which are optional).
You can use the second tables parameter to give the short text of your field-value.
Consider the following code snippet.
==========================
data : lt_dropdown_with_alias type LVC_T_DRAL,
       ls_dropdown_with_alias type LVC_S_DRAL.
ls_dropdown_with_alias-handle = '1'.
ls_dropdown_with_alias-int_value = 'T'.
ls_dropdown_with_alias-value = 'True'.
append ls_dropdown_with_alias to lt_dropdown_with_alias.
ls_dropdown_with_alias-handle = '1'.
ls_dropdown_with_alias-int_value = 'F'.
ls_dropdown_with_alias-value = 'False'.
append ls_dropdown_with_alias to lt_dropdown_with_alias.
call method ALV_GRID->set_drop_down_table
            exporting IT_DROP_DOWN_ALIAS = lt_dropdown_with_alias.

Obviously, <b>int_value</b> is the internal value and <b>value</b> is the text that you want to be displayed.

Domain Value Shot Description instead of Fixed Value

I am having a peculiar issue in Passing domain values from ABAP webdynpro to Interactive forms.
The scenario is as given below.
1> Interactive form is only for display purpose.
2> Passing fields from a Z structure in interactive forms interface.
3> Certain fields in the Z structure are having data elements which are linked to domains.
4> The domains mentioned in point number 3 are having fixed values as well as short descriptions.
5> Fixed values are stored in the tables in R/3 and not short descriptions.
6> I want to display the Short Description in Interactive forms as a text box and not a dropdown value. Since it is just for display purpose, i dont want to display a dropdown value. Currently The fixed values are getting displayed.
I wanted to know if there is some way to do this without using Code.
I have quite a lot of fields and for all of these fields if we select values from dd07t table, Performance would be severely affected.
Please let me know if someone has any suggestions. If you need any more clarifications don't hesitate to ask.

Let me try to clarify a bit more.
As mentioned by you, let us suppose that i have a field ZBUKRS with the domain ZZBUKRS having the same fixed values.
In case of Webdynpro ABAP, if i create a dropdown and bind this domain (ZZBUKRS) to the dropdown, when i run the report, i see the short descriptions in the dropdown. When selecting a value, the Fixed value is automatically selected for the selected short description. There is no need to go in for seperate coding to acheive this.
I was wondering, is there any way that a similar thing can be acheived in interactive forms without doing the coding. I know that we can use the FM 'STF4_GET_DOMAIN_VALUE_TEXT'. But since i have a large number of domains, i will have to use this repeatedly.

Hide domain fixed values for future use

We have a custom domain with 7 fixed values.These Fix values will display if we click on f4 help in the screen.I dont want 4th value and 5th value in the f4 search help button.whether it is possible to hide those values for future use. if we delete the fix values from the domain fixed value list..then it is effecting the past data.Please help me on this.

Use FM : DDIF_DOMA_GET to get the fixed values for that domain in an internal table, then you can process that internal table according to your requirement and display only those values, in AT SELECTION_SCREEN ON VALUE_REQUEST event in the report.

Finding short text description of Fixed values for value range for domain

Hi,
When I got to Dictionary: Dispaly Domain and click on tab value range; I get the template showing Fix. Val and its associated short text.
I want to fetch the short text for a particular fix. val for a domain.
How can I do that ? What table can I use it ? Or do I need to use some function module ?
Lets say I want to fetch the short text for a given Fix val. for domain VBELN.
Please help me out.

I have a requirement where in FB50 when I enter the GL Account , Tax Code, Tax Jurisdiction code and Assignment and press enter I need to default some of the characteristics value (which comes in the popup when you click on the Profit. Sgment ).
Please let me know if any enhance or exit is there to achieve this.
FB50 screen.
When I enter the GL account and click on Profit Segment button below popup will come . I want to default Rebate field with some value.

Thanks for your reply. Actually our requirement is not with the fixed values .
We need that , when we go to FB50 and then provide the GL account and there is one column called 'Assignment'. As soon as we fill the value in assignment column and then if I click on Profit. Segment button for that row the value from the 'Assignment' column should get populated in the Rebate characteristic value field.
For eg.
As I gave Assignment field value as 1234 and when I click on Profit. Segment button the Rebate characteristics value should get populated with 1234.

hi, you means the 'Maintain fixed values, translations, user-defined routines'.
You can definite some fixed values and translations rule in this step.
And go back to the 'Maintain field mapping and conversion rules' steps.
You can utility these pre-defined in the data mapping.
E.G.
You defined a fixed valued name 'BUKRS'
Through click the button in the application bar in step 5,
you can use a FV_BUKRS in data mapping.
FV_BUKRS is the name of the fixed value name in data mapping.

Message Mapping - fixed values - not mapping

Hi
i have a simple fixed values mapping that is not producing anything.
the input value can be 'Y' , 'N' , or a blank.
The fixed value mapping is setting these input values to 'Yes', 'No', and 'No'
however when i test this, nothing is getting mapped to the output record for this field.
can someone tell me why?

ALV + fixed values

Hi All,
In my ALV GRID report I have a field which uses a domain.
This domain has some fixed values like: 1 - Male, 2 - Female.
In the output only 1 or 2 is appearing.
Is there a way by which instead of the value, we can display the
description of the fixed value?
Any value to be passed in the field catalog to do so?
I wanted to avoid an extra select query to get the description.

While updating the final internal table (used for display) in the ALV,move the corresponding descriptions in the column.I think this may help you.
