Dear sir
I have find some missing indexes is there in T code db02
can anyone tell me how to create missing indexes and how to manage that thing frequentely
regards
krishnaHi,
in SE12 you can activate the index. (display the index and activate it)
Alternatively in SE14 the index can be created with the database utilty.
(display the table, click indexes, choose your index, then create it).
In case you have a big database table you should prefer SE14 and use
the background option in order to avoid timeouts.
I'm not aware of an automatism for manage this frequently. This is a
task carried out by SAP system or database administrators.
Kind regards,

Missing Index topics, links and .htm files
I hope someone can help with this, as I am very frustrated
right now. I normally use RoboHelpX5, but have also tried this in
RoboHelp7.
If I generate a Winhelp2000 version of our help system,
everything appears normal. All of the specified index keywords are
there, all of the links are there, etc.
But if I generate either HTML or WebHelp versions using the
same source, as I'm supposed to be able to, for some reason:
1. Index entries for certain topics disappear from the list.
If I manually add the topic to the index again and save, then
regenerate the help files, the topic is still missing from the
index.
2. The hyperlinks for the missing items in #1 above do not
appear. The original text is there, but there is no hyperlink. If I
try to add a hyperlink again, the topic appears in the list, but
once I regenerate the help files, the link disappears again.
3. The individual .htm file for the missing items in #1 above
are not being generated.
Is there some reason why these topics are being dropped from
the html and webhelp versions of the help system? Is there some
sort of topic formatting or setting I am missing? I have tried to
compare working topics vs. missing topics, and cannot find anything
different in my Word document formatting.
I have tried creating a completely different help system,
using clean documents with no RoboHelp formatting, and consistently
have problems with the same topics. I even tried on another
computer that had never had RoboHelp on it before. That didn't make
any difference. The topics were still missing from the index, the
hyperlinks to those topics were still missing, and the individual
.htm files were not generated.
Any help would be appreciated.

(ow_mas)Hi,
I ran into the same problem today with some top level Index
entries not showing up in WebHelp. I discovered how to fix it by
comparing the entries that did show up with those that didn't. If
an entry had a topic associated with it, it showed up; if it has a
cross-reference, it doesn't.
Double click an Index entry in the Index pane (or right click
and choose Properties), then clear the Cross-reference checkbox.
Repeat for each entry that has a cross-reference instead of a
topic. There may be a global way to fix them all, but I haven't
found it yet. Then recompile your help, Voila!
Hope this helps....

Last year upon an update some of my itunes media was not working. Then the new version came out and it fixed itself.
Well another update and we start over with the problem. In the itunes store you can not preview any tv show, music video, or movie.
In your itunes library none of the purchased movies, tv shows, or music videos play. The element the same is in the get info tab. The information in the right side pane in the middle is gone. The left side information is still present. The right side info is the purchase info. Even an item downloaded today had the missing info and will not play. After dealing with apple support with the first go around last year. I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 8 or more times, in the proper order. I deleted my itunes library and reinstalled it. We deleted all types of program files and program data. nothing worked. I was trying things on my own and foung nothing. Please help I am so frustrated with this. It seems to be a codec error that I can not solve.Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Missing Tables and Indexes greyed out in DBACOCKPIT
Hi All,
I use Solution Manager 7.01 with MS SQL Server 2008 DB.
I want to monitor with DBACOCKPIT a MS SQL Server 2005 DataBase of a SAP BPC 5.1.
I connected the DB but in DBACOCKPIT some functionality are greyed out.
I want to use in Diagnostics section the "MISSING TABLES AND INDEXES" function but this command is greyed out.
Is it possible to use this function?
Please, help me!
Regards,
AlessandroHi,
Gray color means that screen is disabled for any reason (authorization, SQL Server release, monitoring remote, etc).
I believe, those items cannot be monitored unless these limitations are sorted out.
Please refer to the Document "The SAP DBA Cockpit for Microsoft SQL Server" in SDN.
You can get the status about the restriction in the bottom of dbacockpit screen.
Thanks,
Jagan

RakeshHi Rakesh,
First thing this is not an issue but an information that says that these indexes are not be created in the System.
This option Indexes not created is an SAP table maintained from Dev to Prod just to indicate that these indexes cannot be created.
That's the reason why u have a green mark beside them and this will make clear for you that this is not an issue.
Hope it helps!!!!

Hi SAP Gurus,
on our SAP NetWeaver 7.x BW (based on AIX/Oracle) I find via transaction DB02 (path = Diagnostics => Missing Tables and Indexes) under "Unknown objects in ABAP Dictionary" under DB views a BW object /BI0/.....
When I make a double click on the object, I am getting the popup window "Display not possible for this object":
How can I identify the object and clarify with the BW application expert, if needed, how to resolve this object?
I searched already via RSA1 for the object, but I wasn't able to find anything so far ...
Thanks for your help and ideas.
Best regards
CarlosHello Carlos
The database view in question is a temporary database object created during a query execution.
Please read this SAP note 449891 - Temporary database objects in BW 3.x to understand what that view is all about and impact if those views are removed.
The SAP notes 449891 and 1139396 suggests to run the report SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES to drop these temporary objects. Whether the objects are still required or not is a question to be put across to the BW team. If the temporary objects are removed when they are used by a query, then the query will fail.
Have a nice day

Hi SAP Gurus,
I noticed on our SAP business warehouse (BW) system (NetWeaver 7.0 based on AIX/Oracle 11g) in transaction DB02 => Diagnostics => Missing Tables and Indexes under Secondary indexes, 26 indexes, in package $tmp:
The indexes are defined, but they don't have been created on the database.
When I try to create them via the database tool, I am getting the warning:
Does the warning raise up, because they where defined in the $tmp package?
I was looking in SAP notes for a solution for this "warning" concerning the /BIC/F-Indexes but I didn't found yet anything helpful ...
Thanks for your help and ideas ...
Best regards
CarlosHi Carlos,
These are secondary indexes created during process chains in BI to improvise performance.
You may refer below SCN blogs on creation of these indices in BI.

How to replace #Missing for a 0 number and not '0
Hello, I will like to know if any of you know how to replace in Excel the #Missing for a 0 (number 0), and not '0 (text 0), that is what it always return.
ThanksGreat Tim!!
Though i did not raise this question, i have been having this in mind for months from now.
This worked like a magic.
Yes you are right, it is not advisable when the sheet is meant for lock and send as it would create unwanted blocks.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
is there any way to create a missing index from DBACOCKPIT as old DB02 on Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, ecc.? I'm not able to find it
Thank you.Hi.
The rebuild of an index is done by the DDIC transactions on all the other platforms, too. There is a link in the DBA Cockpit to this feature but this is only working for the local system (or maybe if an RFC-connection is provided which is not used in most remote monitoring cases). The remote monitoring using just a database connection which is the default for all database platforms since approx 10 years, is not able to recreate an index on a remote system. The code for the missing tables and index check in the DBA Cockpit is DB independent to a very large extent. You can check if creating an index in the DBA Cockpit works on the local system for ASE, too. I don't have a system to check at hand (vacation). On ASE we have the goal to offer all features in the Cockpit for both remote and local databases with the same feature set without using RFC as the remote system might not be running ASE. And the DDIC check is so far the only screen that does not work this way. Unfortunately this cannot be changed without a huge redesign of the DDIC.

PrernaHi,
put a DECLARE step before all. After that under my opinion it's better to put a TO_CHAR().
Try putting your variable in text mode and modify your filter into
TO_CHAR(LAST_UPDATE_DATE,'YYYYMMDDHHMI') >= TO_CHAR(#PROJ.P_EXTRACT_FROM_TS,'YYYYMMDDHHMI')In your operator if you click on variable which value do you see? -
