Missing/Invalid partner co. code or Global Co.- Trading Partner related.

Hello all,
I set up a new Trading Partner in t-code OX15. When I go to post to it with T-code FBV1 I get the following error:
Missing/Invalid partner company code or Global company SFP
Can someone help me out here. I searched OSS Notes and they don not provide a good solution for this error. What configuration am I missing? Does SFP need to be added somewhere else?

I had one of those "...coulda had a V8" moments. The error message was "ZS 029"
Normally the "Z" triggers my brain that this is something internal. Well it finally came to me that this was an internal error message. I found a Validation rule that was checking for G/L Accounts in one set required a trading partner which had to be part of a second set. Once I added "SFP" to the Trading Partner set everything was fine.

Hi,
As per i know line item GL never store a physical number of material or its quantity. The only way you can posses this report maybe dragging some value from material ledger in MM Module.

I am in dilemaaa whether i need to take a EDI x12 over internet and EDI x12 over genric exchange.I think this is something which you should discuss with your TP and as per the availability and requirement a decision should be made.
If you are using FTP protocol in internal delivery channel, then you need to follow the file naming convention to provide B2B required information to identify the TP and transaction. For this please refer -

you can dr/cr with same gl code with correct trading partner one line and with wrong trading partner other line..

Issue with trading partner

Hi ,
I have a issue with trading partner,
While clearing the bank clearing account with bank main account user has got the below error
"Consolidated companies ' ' are different"
The issue is because u201CTrading Partneru201D, document number xxxx has the trading partner.
I have given the below solution to client,
Proposed solution:
Reverse the payment & invoice documents
Edit the vendor master data (Remove the trading partner from vendor master data)
Re-post the invoice
Do the payment document
Now client does not want to revere the document, do we have any other way to do this?

Hi Sridhar,
if you make wrong entry in VBUND, it is necessary to REVERSE the document first and re-post with the correct VBUND information. BSEG-VBUND is one of the important organizational fields which should be managed in the same manner as company code, business area etc. These organizational fields cannot/should not be changed.
Please refer to note 4152, which provides valuable information on why
the error F5080 arises in your system.
Also please consider the following points:
There is also another note, 109925, which describes in detail the
possibility to transfer, into all the line items, the trading partner.
Use
o If you want the trading partner to be transferred to all line items,
do NOT set this indicator.
The System behaviour is the following one:
1) Both indicators switched OFF:
If a trading partner is maintained in G/L, vendor or customer master
record, VBUND is copied to all document lines. VBUND is unique
in FI-document.
2) Indicator "Multiple companies" switched ON and indicator
"Enter trading partner" switched OFF:
The company ID (= trading partner) is not inherited to other items for
document types that allow cross-company postings.
3) Indicator "Multiple companies" switched ON and indicator
"Enter trading partner" switched ON:
You can enter a trading partner when posting to a G/L account and in
the G/L master record, no trading partner is stored.
In this case, the company ID specified manually is entered in all
line items that not yet received a company code from the customer
or vendor master record.

I looked it up in the mean time ...
The docs state that you only can use simple data type or java.util.list or AttributeList (which is a wrapper for any viewRow). So I guess you have to somehow flatten your complex data type or create a custom VO which holds it.

Trading Partner issue in ECC

I have just activated the trading partner in ECC vendor/customer master on 1.09.08, thus all posting before this date was posted without trading partner information.
In BCS, I plan to load balance as at 31.8.08 using flexible upload as opening balance with all the "correct" trading partner information breakdown and subsequently, period movement will be extracted from ECC.
However, I notice that in ECC, when we make payment to open item created before 1.9.08 (document without trading partner), system will not populate the trading partner information, instead the trading partner information in original line (i.e. blank) will be posted.
I think this will create a problem, as I alrady uploaded the inter company balance with correct breakdown, but now period movement will be posted without trading partner, thus my balance in BCS will not be correct.
Anyone face the same issue before? Appreciate you can share with me how to overcome this issue, thanks.

This is not an uncommon problem. A few ways to address this are: correction posting in ECC, or correction posting in BCS.
In ECC a posting to move amounts from blank/null trading partner to actual trading partner is one solution. However this is not always possible when the accounts are reconciliation accounts.
In the case of reconciliation accounts it may be better to post the correction in BCS at posting level 10.
Another way to address this is to change the breakdown for these accounts to require trading partner and if blank default is used. Then the correcting entries are from default trading partner to the true trading partner in BCS.

Hi,
I am working on custom document over HTTPS.
I configured B2B to send custom document over Generic Exchange(transport - HTTPS).
I enqueue the XML document with AQ header to IP_OUT_QUEUE. B2B is able to read the data from IP_OUT_QUEUE and invokes the client Webapplication.
I changed the IP_OUT_QUEUE to custom AQ. B2B is able to read data from custom AQ, but B2B throws "Trading partner agreement lookup failed as From trading partner cannot be identified"

Trading partner Data missing in FBL3N report for GL stock account

When I am able to view the Trading partner details when I run customised program (which pulls data from customised table). May I know the reason why I am not able to find out the same details when I run FBL3N T-code?
In the given case, I pulled out details of stock by trading partner by running a customised program. I expected the same by running FBL3N for Stock GL account. But the details of trading partner is missing for many line items

Creating Business Partner Through Code

Hi Everyone
I just wanted to know if any of you knew a way to create a business partner through code.
If there is a way or a sample that anyone can provide that would greatly
apreciated.
What would mandatory fields be? I know CardCode would be one mandatory field but what else would be essential?

If you only need to read the BP data from the 'source' company then you shouldn't need to log in to it. The RecordSet object should be capable of sending a SQL query that references the other database.
For example:
string sSQL = "select * from " + sSourceDatabase +"..OCRD where CardCode = '" + sMyBPCode +"'"
where sSourceDatabase is the Database ID for the source company and sMyBPCode is the BP you wish to copy.
Using this you should only need to log in to the company where the BP needs to be created. So the whole process should be something like this:
1) Connect to second company
2) Run the query to collect the BP data from the first company
3) Create an instance of the BP object and use the recordset object to assign the properties
4) Add the BP

Invalid breakdown of Item 13001 by Trading partner: Initializing the value

Hi,
There are some transaction with trading partner information. These transaction are not for interunit elimination ( i just want to update to BCS infocube) . I am using the breakdown type 1 (Optional breakdown, initialized value allowed). And i am not assigning breakdown type 1 to FS item 13001.
When i was trying to load data, i get warning message stated " invalid breakdown of item 13001 by trading partner: Initializing the value".

How to update trading partner (BSEG-VBUND) in tr.code FB01/FB02?

Hi,
I need, under some circumstances, to update value of trading partner code (field BSEG-VBUND) to all items in the FI document, created/changed with transaction FB01/FB02.
I checked available user exits and bussiness events, but didn't found one, which could do the trick.
In fact, in bussiness transaction event #00001430 (CHANGE DOCUMENT: Field substitution header/line - Checks prior to posting change completed) - for FB02 I have access to the internal table T_BSEG, but it seems this table is used as import parameter only and any changes didn't take efect at the end.
Any help how can I do the trick? And this is while I'm in a transaction FB01/FB02.
My system is 4.6c.

what I did until now is:
1) followed matrix substitution = callup point 3 (complete document) - I checked for existance of correct substitution field(s) in the GB01 table, and re-generated substitution code (as noticed in note 42615). That added my field in the list of fields for substtitution which are considered at the end of substtitution - in forms:
FORM EXP_REC_015
        USING
          DATA_CHANGED TYPE GB002_015
        CHANGING
          DATA_OUT TYPE GB002_015.
and
FORM EXP_TAB_015_BSEG
         USING
           IN_ORIG STRUCTURE        BSEG

both forms are in main generated program GBTAAFI0.
My field (VBUND) is taken in account - added to the structure:

Unfortunately the flow-logic proceeded further to the same form 'import_*beleg' in the program SAPFF011 and my changes dissapeared.
I'm at dead-end - have no idea where and what is the problem...
Checked few OSS notes - 42615, 386896, 513891, 391309, 438076. Everything which is related to my exact situation is set correctly - as far as I found :-).
Just for tests I tried both ways (BTE and matrix substitution) with another field ==> BSEG-XREF3, and it was updated correctly - accorging to my logic.
Thanks guys, your suggestions were right at the time and valuable, but they didn't help me to solve my problem. Perhaps there is something messed in our system - I can't be sure. What I can say for sure is that we have working BTE-s (1430 is used in our system - I just added piece of code into it), and validations are working also.
