Missing Policy

Hi,
I installed a new weblogic server 10.3.6 in my local environment and tried to deploy my project there but I am encountering below error
javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: oracle.fabric.common.PolicyEnforcementException: PolicySet Invalid: WSM-06102 PolicyReference The policy reference URI "oracle/wss_http_token_client_policy" is not valid. My page contains taskflows with configured web service policy but I dont know how to solve this.
Did I miss something?

Missing policy assembly

It seems that there are some windows files that need to be repaired however, I don't know how to repair them and I did not want to reload the OS if I can find another way to fix it.
I tried to install SQL Server 2014 Express x64 on a Windows 8.1 computer and get the following error shown below. Why is it looking for an x86 assembly when it is installing on an x64 architecture.

When I run sfc/scannow the log file has the information below. I then ran Dism.exe and it said "The restore operation completed successfully. The component store corruption was repaired. The operation completed successfully".
However, when I rerun sfc/scannow I still get the below error log.

To solve this, I am afraid you should try to refresh your computer in this way:
To refresh your PC
1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
2. Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Recovery.
3. Under Refresh your PC without affecting your files, tap or click Get started.
4.Follow the instructions on the screen.

Note that:
Apps you installed from websites and DVDs will be removed. Apps that came with your PC and apps you installed from the Windows Store will be reinstalled. Windows puts a list of removed apps on your desktop after refreshing your PC

Ghost Lync Accounts

This problem is interesting. I just built a new Lync 2013 Standard server in coexistence with a Lync 2010 Standard server. All is working as expected and we are moving users from the old pool to the new one without issue except for a few "ghost"
accounts. I attempted to move a user from one pool to another and received the error "Move-CsUser : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.". I then found that the AD account doesn't exist and was deleted several months back. Odd...
Of course all this work is being done with the Lync 2013 tools and pool. So out of curiosity I connected to the old pool and couldn't find the user in the list. Strange... It seems that the user can only be seen when connected to the new pool but then you
can't do anything to the object because the AD object is missing. Command line doesn't work either. Have tried to disable, revoke cert, anything I could think of and it all errors out. The user objects in question are only viewable in the Lync 2013 control
panel.
Any thoughts how I can get rid of them, I have more than one...

... I'm trying to replicate out of curiousity this but I cannot. I've completely shut down every server in my lab and removed a Lync enabled user from AD. Then, I brought the servers back online. Lync no longer returns the user in the control panel
or get-csuser.
If you run get-csuser, and look at the identity, it should give you the location of the deleted object. Can you confirm that the object is really missing and that the error is not related to a missing policy or missing user data?

Well, the staff were told me that the phone can't be change due to some of minor parts are missing in the phone. He said this is due to company policy. I would like to check is that nothing can do with this missing minor parts? I really doubt the policy of the Apple as I was told as long as you bring to the service center, they will assists. As Apple is a well known brand top of the world, but the servicing is really make me so disappointed! I really doubt should I still continue to support the Apple product with helpless service!
Would like to take this opportunity to seek the professional advise in order to get my phone change back.

Well, your service is handled by an Authorized Apple Service Center. If they refuse to handle the claim, that is well within their rights. Apple as well could void a claim under the same circumstances. I'm not saying that you did or did not modify the device, but you could try and talk to a supervisor there and make another request. You can also try and contact Apple by obtaining a number with this support document and describe your problem. http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

Windows 8 - Folder Redirection policy missing from GP Results.

Hi guys! This has been giving me a hard time the last day or so. I've got some Win8 machines in our 2003 domain. I've got some GPO's applying with WMI filtering for win8 machines. Mostly these are ok, but i'm having a huge problem with Desktop Folder
Redirection.
After a fresh build and first login, everything works fine. Drive mappings are all there and the Desktop is redirected to to users home drive on the file server. This is being done with Advanced settings using group membership and set to "Create a folder
for each user under the root path" \\dfs1\users. This location is correct and permissions are fine of course as everything works for a while.
After a little while or some unknown event, this redirection stops working.
check these two screengrabs. These are different users on different machines. The machines are identical, are in the same OU and have the same image. The users are different but have the same group memberships and are in the same OU.
This is a working machine. Not the Folder Redirection component was processed and the Policy exists.
This machine is not working. Folder Redirection is processed, but the Policy is missing. Running a gpresult /v on this machine yields:

It was working fine yesterday and this morning. Now at some point a policy refresh stopped it from working. Just trying to figure out what! These are the exact settings currently in place for our win 7 machines which all work just fine. Going a bit crazy
tbh and usually when i post questions i figure it out shortly afterwards anyway huhu. Any help is appreciated!

well I though this issue was gone when I switched to a new Task Sequence in SCCM every machine that was built with that was working fine with Folder Redirection happening as it's meant to be. That was for about a week, now it's back to not working.

Policy ASBVGM is missing

I have a problem with the policy ASBVGM+EX_CFF_Unit_MediumTF.
When I open a PDF file I have a error message.
It's in French because I'm French.
Impossible to extract the policy ASBVGM+EX_CFF_Unit_MediumTF. etc...
In my PDF document all characters are missing.
How to fix it?

In 11gR2, the option to use file-based policy store is no longer available (in fact, it was removed from the config options in 11.1.1.5), so the config tool only shows the single option to install OAM (and this option uses DB policy store, even though it does not mention it in the option name).
So the error message you are getting means that OAM is expecting the DB store, but that it is not available (or that it is misconfigured) - prior to extending the domain you should have used the rcu utility (11.1.2 version) in order to create the necessary schema for OAM 11gR2. Do the logs give more information?

Novelty policy - missing tables

Hello all,
I have implemented Oracle Audit Vault along with Database Firewall version 12.1.2.3 (currently latest version) and I have a small problem with defining a novelty policy.
I have configured secured targets and audit trails, everything works like a peach, alerts are being raised and the reports generated, even sent to my e-mail. I have also successfully implemented the DB firewall as a proxy and it successfully blocks an IP etc. The problem is when I try to configure a novelty policy to block certain command classes from certain tables in my DB. There aren't any to choose from in the novelty policy section. I have turned on auditing on multiple tables in my DB (like I said, reporting and alerting works fine). Am I missing something. I have read the instructions and it only says that I need to check the tables in novelty policy configuration to which the rules apply. It doesn't say anything what to do if there are no tables to choose from. I found that there was a bug in a previous 12c version, but I have the latest one.
Has anyone else encountered such a problem and managed to resolve it.

Missing Default Domain policy

Hi Experts,
i have strange issue, users are unable get the policy applied after investigating found out that the default domain policy is missing on dcs in one site, i have checked further for any events relation to journal wrapping to no avail, client pcs recwiving
this error below:

strange thing is that the replication is working, but only the sysvol replication not working, can someone please advice

NT User Extensible Policy - what am I missing ?

Zen 3.2 on NW6SP3 server.
I have created one simple user.
Then I created a User Policy Package, including a DLU policy and a User
Extensible Policy, in which I disabled "Registry editing tools".
I have assigned my policy to my user :
- the DLU policy works fine, my user is created at login, in the user group
I've chosen
- unfortunately, the user has access to regedit, and the parameters I
modifiy in the common.adm policy does not seem to be applied.
What did I miss ?

I once noticed a strange behaviour you might want to check.
When working in the policy package, I associated the policy package directly
to users.
It failed to apply.
I looked at the user for associated policies and it was empty. I can't
really remember whether or not the new policy association showed up in
effective policies or not. I suspect not.
So I worked from the user screen and associated the policy and it worked.
Maybe that will work for you.

In order to test the optimistic locking by fields, I created a very simple TopLink project via the TopLink Workbench. It only consists of one table that was mapped via TopLink's own "Add or Update Existing Tables from Database". I made no modifications to the automatically generated mappings. 
 
After I set up the rest of the project, I ran it and it ran okay. 
 
Then I went to the table descriptor, then to the "Locking" tab, and then I selected "Optimistic Locking" -> "By Fields" -> "Changed Fields".

Can anybody tell me what that means? And why do I see "VersionLockingPolicy" in the stack trace? I explicitly specified locking "By Fields".

Ooooops, sorry, guys!
I was using TopLink 10.1.3.0 JARs to run a project created via TopLink 10.1.3.1 Workbench. That was the reason for the exception.
I ran across the REAL problem, however. The one that was occurring when I created the TopLink project via JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 and ran it via JDeveloper 10.1.3.1. That's why I decided to try with TopLink 10.1.3.1 Workbench instead of JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.
I will report the problem in a clean separate post.

Missing the User Extensible Policy

Hello,
I don't know if this is the right forum.
We are missing the User Extensible Policy when we are creating a User
Policy packet
When we create a new User Policy packet we have all the options except the
User Extensible Policy. We need this to redirect folders. We did this on
other networks without any problems.
Network:
Netware 5.1 sp6
Zen 3.2 sp2
Tested on:

In consoleone you would go to help and then snapins, but that can be
very confusing.
Easiest way would be to download the snapins from novell.
download.novell.com under products select zenworks for desktops from
there you can get the 3.2 snap-ins.
Extract the download and copy the snap-ins to your c1 copy, it would be
best if you were running c1 local on your workstation.
Q, when you copied c1 from the working location, did you copy the whole
1.2 directory to your desired location?

Unable to create Policy packages - missing snapin

Product: Novell Small Business Suite 6 SP5 installed, ZFD sp3 installed.
When attempting to create policy packages I get the following message:
"There is not a snap-in to create this type of object. If you proceed and
use the generic object creator, the resultin object may not be useable."
This happens with Console One on the workstation as well as on the server.
Can anyone help? Any suggestions how to resolve this will be greatly
appreciated.

Policy Center: Policy creation...filters missing

I notice that when I create a policy in Policy Center, only a subset of the usual filters are available, e.g. Alert etc are missing.
Any particular reason for this?
Also, just for my understanding on the role of Policy Center -
In my scenario I have 2 instances of OEG (Test and Prod).
My idea was to export all from Test and import to Policy Center.
Then have Policy Center as my single point of truth and update the Prod environment from there.
However, I hit the above issue (certain filters not supported) when I attempted to do this.
So I assume this is not the preferred modus operandi.
I can of course, in Policy Center, select all, or a subset of, the artifacts from Test and deploy straight to Prod.

Would it be possible to get a screen shot the missing alert filter? this should be found in the "Monitoring" section of the palette.
Policy Center is a central point where you can manage, control and version policies and push them out to all Gateways in your domain.

Missing or Bad Policy

I have just started rolling out the Endpoint Client to users, and in the reporting screen I am seeing the error:
"Missing or bad policy id"
All the users have the same policy assigned to them and published to them, and ideas?

Next build should fix this. May be available as early as today but probably tomorrow. It will be called ZESM IR6
