Modyfing plant in a service pr created by a PM order.

Dear all,
We have found an issue at the system when we try to change the plant in a PM order with external services.
For this items it is determined automatically the Maintenance Planning Plant as the Logistics Plant.
We wish to choose the plant that will be used in the PR created from the PM order.
This plant could be different than the Maintenance planning plant, but we cannot find how to determine this value.
Does anyone know how to choose a plant different from the maintenance planning plant for services required in the PM order?

you mean to say the system should automatically select different maintenance planning plant apart from the reference object.then it think it is no possible.
while entering the control key for external services try to enter the planning plant different from reference object(but it must under one company code),

Service cost for the equipment is not be involved in the order, but only material cost and man power cost cost ? am i right?
If the materials Required for service, then we can use the PR , based on that PO, for The PMO5 key.
But If the materials are not required then what is the Use of PR generated in the order ?can we leave PR without Processing?
HOw to know the man power cost ( HR) because service done by other dept ?

In order to call out from the database process, is SQL (or PL/SQL) you need to generate some client code, that understand the details about the specific of the service you want to invoke and can produce the correct SOAP request. Once this proxy is uploaded in the Database, you can use it.
There is a set of Database Web services samples that should help you get started. You can also take a look at the developer's guide - see Developing a Web Service Client in the Database.

A confirmation of service is created instead of GR goods receipt inb. deliv

Dear Experts,
When I post an inbound delivery created for a PO item with confirmation control (0004) - Shipping notification, No material document is created. In the document flow I see Completion of service is created and no PO History Update follows.
When I try the same inbound delivery posting for a PO items which has 0001 (Confirmations) as confirmation control, the Material Document is created and PO history is updated too.
Do you know where I can alter the setting to create GR posting instead of Confirmation of Service for PO items with 0004-Shipping notification (Inbound delivery) confirmation control?

Really thanks for your prompt reply.
i solved this issue, as what u said, it is not released in IW31, at the time of PR creation. So i asked the User to go to IW32 anc choose the apprpriate order and change mode and click on Flag Icon to release.

Using PHP Data Services to create an object and accessing that objects data in an unbound way in AS

Hello,
I've been able to use the php data services and bind the results of a function to a component. However I am having a hard time figuring out the syntax to use the data services to create an object out of the results, and then use that object as an array of filenames to provide the current index of the filename to a new sound object.
My problem is obviously in not being able to figure out the specific syntax, I have declared the service and and object of the services returned type and in the creationComplete() function I have assigned object.token = service.getData();
I've tried various ways of then pulling that data out of the object, with no success.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
This code probably looks horrible because it doesn't work yet.

In retrieving your data - what is your php returning to FB, an object, object array, an array? Either way, I have a brief example below that an object(s) is being returned. Pull the data from the lastResult in a ResultEvent. The object instantiated in the resultEvent will contain your data and you can do what you want from there.
Also, I always use Network Monitor to see what data (if any) is being returned from the server, you can also see how it is being sent back.

Here is the answer: Yes it is possible. Download the file, using option - File Download. File should include all key attributes & also attributes that needs to be updated. (Key here is to have appropriate assignment ID. )
Use the same file for File Upload (modify attributes like Sort Key as required).

Shared Memory Service Not Created Yet

Hi Everyone,
I had to get a new printer because the baby did something to my old one and now it won't print clearly. I got an HP Officejet 4315 because it was the only one that said it supported 10.2.8. When I installed the software, I got a message saying, "Driver Not Installed." I checked the HP website, and they said to install the BSD from my CD's, which I did, now when I click on "HD Assistant" I get a message saying, "Shared Memory Service Not Created Yet."
I can't find anything on the HP or Mac websites about this error message. I e-mailed HP Support, they said to repair permissions and re-boot, which I did, but I still get that error message.
Please don't tell me to buy a new computer so I can get a new OS, because that's not financially feasible at the moment, since I'm a stay-at-home mom.

Upgrading your Mac to Panther 10.3.x would be quite painless, and depending on whether it meets the Panther System Requirements, and the Additional Panther System Requirements, also relatively inexpensive.
If you know what to look for, a Full Retail Version, of the Panther Install CDs, can also be purchased rather inexpensively, at some additional online Apple retailers, Amazon, eBay, FastMac, etc.
Be sure not to purchase grey, upgrade or machine specific CDs or DVDs.
Panther is only on CDs, not DVDs.
Unless purchased from AppleRescue, the discs should look exactly like the images in the above links, and not say Upgrade, or CPU Drop-in DVD, on them.

CMS inbox can be figured out this way:
1. go to CMS webui -- Landscape Configurator -- Domain Data tab.
2. notice the path entered into the field Transport folder.
3. your CMS inbox is then <Transport folder>/CMS/inbox
Now make sure the required SCAs are available in this folder, and then go to the CMS webui- Transport studio -- select the track -- on "Check-In" tab check in the SCs, and make sure you import them to both Development and Consolidation. Only after this will you able to create a DC in your NWDS, otherwise everything will be grayed out.

Material Reservation Create Upon Saving Work Order

Dear Experts,
We have a requirement that material reservation needs to be created upon release of the PM order. However in SAP standard it is created upon saving the PM order.
Do you know the way how to change it that reservation will be created upon release of the PM order? Is there any OSS note etc. I had a search on service place in SAP but couldnt find something relevant sofar.
Any help, idea will be highly appreaciated.

Yes you can configure the system using standard setting where the reservation will be gerated after order release.
Please follow the following path.
1. SPRO> SAP Standard IMG setting> Plant Maintenance & Customer service-->Maintenance & service Processing > Maintenance and Service Orders>Functions and Settings for Order Types-->Define Change Docs, Collective Purc. Req. Indicator, Operation No. Interval
In this step, you can define:
Whether reservations or purchase requisitions relevant to materials planning should be generated when an order is created or only when the order is released. You do not select the field reservation/purchase requisition. The result is that purchase requisitions are only generated when the order is released, and reservations only become relevant to materials planning once the order has been released.
I think this will resolve your query if not let me know.

Requisition created from a production order

Hello,
We have requisitions created via maintenance orders (from the R/3 components PM Plant Maintenance and Service Management - iw32).
creation indicator (eban.estkz) is 6 for production order and item category on req is d for services.
After the requistion is created, I want to modify the delivery address in me52n, however it is grayed out. I have tried to maintain the field selection in the img but, I do not see where the delivery address is suppressed for requistions. I have looked both under requisition field selections and external services management field selections.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

Hi,
I have faced similar situation (changing PR quantity in ME52N) during creation of PR from Project Systems. In my opinion the PR which is automatically created in MM from other modules like PS, PP etc is ineditable in MM.
So I tried changing quantity in PS itself, which got reflected in PR.
