Movie doesn't appear in browser

Created a simple slideshow in Flash Pro CS3 and placed it into an shtml document, but it doesn't show when I open the document in the browser. Neither from within the computer or when uploaded onto a server.

I placed the .swf file into a blank document and it opens/works fine in the browser. So it must be something with that shtml file.

I watched a little of it while it was downloading so I know it was working- I set it aside and went to bed- later when it should have finished downloading couldn't find it in my itunes library. Movie purchased on iPad doesn't appear on Apple TV

Last week, my son purchased the SD version of Terminator 2 on his iPad and, after syncing to our iMac, we have been able to watch the movie on the computer, my iPhone and an iPod touch. However, the movie doesn't appear in the movies that are listed under the "computers" tab of the home screen of my 2d gen Apple tv.
Of course, I have home sharing set to all of my Apple devices, so that isn't the problem. Additionally, I have the latest version of iTunes, OS X and iOS on the devices. Interestingly, all of the other movies that I have in my movies library in iTunes on my iMac show up on the Apple tv menu - EXCEPT T2!
For what it's worth, I noticed that Terminator 2 is not available to rent on my Apple tv; I don't know if that's merely a coincidence, or an actual explanation for my problem.
Can anyone offer me any insight as to why the T2 movie that was purchased from iTunes on an iPad doesn't even appear on my Apple tv? Is there some kind of default setting that only allows the Apple tv to stream movies that were purchased from the home sharing computer from which it is streaming content, in my case, the iMac?

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

CR 8.0 pie chart/graph doesn't appear in web browser

Hi,
I am using a CR 8.0 report (containing data in tabular format and Pie/Bar graph) with Web component Server.
In design mode (by entering the parameters) when i view my report through the CR IDE then i can view my report perfectly with the pie and bar graphs.
However,once i call the same report through the web component server, by my JSP page, the report appears with the data but the page containing the piechart/Bar graph doesn't appear. (i am using the ActiveXViewer)
When i remove the chart/graph, then all the pages are displayed in my browser (IE) properly, but if i add back the pie chart then the page on which this should appear - doesnt display.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? In design it displays with data but once called through webcomponent server it fails?

This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Step 1
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:

Be sure to select the whole line by triple-clicking anywhere in it. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar. A text window opens.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens. You’re not going to reset a password.

If you are using the Creative cloud app to do the install in the upper right hand corner there is a Gear looking icon. Click on that and select preferences then go to the Apps tab and you can select which drive any and all Adobe software installs to. I suggest you included the folder also. Mine look like this.
D:\Programs Files\Adobe
All the creative Cloud Apps then get installed to the D drive in the Program Files folder in a Sub-folder called Adobe. They are then installed to another Sub-folder for whichever program they are, IE Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom and so on.
If you are installing the Stand Alone versions then at one point during the initial install system you are given a choice to do a Custom or Advanced install and you have to choose that option then you can select which drive and folders to install to.

Aperture doesn't appear in iWork's media browser or Mail's Photo Browser

I've just installed Aperture 2, and I realize that it doesn't appear in the following browsers:
- Media Browser in iWork'08
- Photo Browser in Mail
Also, in iTunes, I can select Aperture to sync photos from, but no album is displayed
Any idea what could be wrong ?

After a long while on the phone with Apple Tech Support, we finally figured out the solution. After deleting ALL my previews (control-click on your main library icon and choose delete all previews) the Aperture library structure shows up everywhere it is supposed to. Of course, generating new previews will give access to the images again...

why JVM 1.6 doesn't support accessibility?
with JVM 1.5_10 or above it's possible to move from elements of IE browser page with tab and enter and exit from applet
with JVM 1.6 or using plugin 1.6 this is not more possible.
with plugin 1.6 and JVM 1.5 applet can gains focus but it doesn't release it
with JVM 1.6 applet doesn't gain focus and all keyevents are intercepted from browser.
to make my applet and page accessible I need to move focus between elements of browser page with tab,
and enter and exit from applet.
Just because my users can't use mouse but only keyboard.
Note that FireFox doesn't work at all, even if bug seems fixed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93149

Line added to movie clip doesn't appear

Hi,
I'm trying to add a line to a movie clip. When I trace the width of the lineadded it traces correctly, but the line doesn't appear. If I do everything the same but add the line to the stage instead of the movie clip it does appear. I know this is one of those cases where I can't see the forest fro the trees but I sure would appreciate any insight you can give me.
Here's the relevant code:

Thanks for this. I helped me realize that I was basing the placement on the stage rather than the movie clip on the stage. When I moved the starting X and Y positions to 0, it appeared.
