Moving from secure https page to non secure page on same site

Secure https page navigation to a non secure http page still has you in a secure url when navigating within the same site, when user clicks to leave the secure page to go to a non secure page the address bar still has them in a secure https url. Is there a way to code the nav to not allow this to occur? Tried adding a full url to the non secure pages and that worked but then my active states of the nav stops working. Any ideas or scripts that may help here? Thanks!

CSS not applying to a page if navigated to from one other page in the site

Hi,
Quite new to dreamweaver. Built a site a few months ago and when updating the content I decided to update the style as well using the CSS sheet.
Strange problem occurring....
When you navigate to the Contact Us page directly via URL or any but one page in the site, the SCC applies and webpage displays well.
However, if you navigate to the Contact Us page form the About Us page then all styling is lost.
Below is my NavBar coding. I have compared it on all pages and it's the same. Can't work out why CSS not applying in this one specific instance.

How many style sheets do you have for your entire site?
You should have boilerplate.css, your fluidGridLayout.css (whatever you named it) and one other custom css file for your content styles. All 3 style sheets should appear on every page. For site management reasons, I usually put my CSS files into a styles folder.
Sitename (C:\sitename)
index.html
about.html
contact.html
etc...
     -styles
          boilerplate.css
          layout.css
          custom.css
With that structure above, your links to external style sheets should look something like this on every page.

WE have been using Contribute - CS4 for a long time for my client to edit his site. But we recently added a couple of https pages and Contribute will not let us into thes pages. What do we have to do to be able to edit these in Contribute?

Tap the event you want to change, tap Edit on the top right, change as desired, then tap Done on the top right.

HTTPS URL launch from a HTTP page link in new TAB

I have a table where a particular column having url’s. When clicking on a particular url it is going to new tab but suddenly after that it closed. If I open that url in new window instead of new tab it is working fine. Code for creating url is-

Tabs and windows should behave similarity, so that's strange.
I'm not sure I understand what the user is clicking: is it simply text which has an onclick handler to manufacture a link, or is it actually a link already? Can you post a clickable demonstration of the problem, or a snippet of the table on Pastebin or other hosting site of your choice?

Moving from Linux to Final Cut Pro, Need Help Creating Same Mpeg-4 videos

I am seeking to move into Final Cut Pro to develop these types of videos that I have previously been creating in Linux.
How can Final Cut Pro make these videos in the format specified below (OR VERY CLOSE TO IT)?
Please let me know what settings with screenshots, etc. will make final cut pro output in this way.
MINIMUM output requirements Video codec: Mpeg-4 (divx) with 2400 vbitrate, Audio Codec: MP3 and File container .avi

Not likely.
Easiest solution is to produce your edited material in FCP and then move the fully rendered, self-contained movie, in whatever format you are producing, to your Linux machine and use its encoder/transcoder.
Compressor will do the job for MP3 and MP4 but you will need to purchase the DIVX codec or transport it to your Mac. You need to talk to DiVX and you need to open the manual for Compressor. Compressor is not easy to learn how to use i na day but whatever you were using on your Linux box was much more difficult to learn.

How can I change site identity from blank white pages to the site's logo on my App Tabs?

Blank white pages show up on some App Tabs instead of the site's identity symbols, so I can't tell which site it is unless I hover over it with the mouse. How can I fix this to save the extra step?

The problem is that the web interface requires you to create a password in order to access the SSL pages, but HP messed up and put the page to create the account on an SSL page. So, you can't access the page to create your account, because you haven't created the account yet. I just spent the last hour and a half chatting with tech support on this and I finally found the backdoor solution. I asked them to pass it on so, maybe someday it'll be fixed in a firmware update. Try this and let me know if it works for you. I've seen many other people with the same problem and no solution.

you can get the data from java (via java proxy)
and you will have it inside your XI

If you are saying that you want to read some request from the HTTP page,then you have to do it with BSP instead of ABAP.

Safari displays blank pages for some sites

MBP 15 inch. mid-2014
OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
Safari Version 8.0.2 (10600.2.5)
Some pages, sometimes on Apple's on support site simply display as blank pages. The same page displays perfectly on Firefox or Chrome. What is this strange behaviour? For example, this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH15327 shows a completely blank page. See: http://i.imgur.com/PRPWgus.png

I have no extensions installed in Safari. JS is enabled, all settings are default. This is a fresh and clean install of Yosemite. No anti-virus installed.

As an aside, and I don't have specific data for this, but Safari does seem to load some other pages so slowly, it's annoying to the extreme.

A fix for the Mozilla Firefox SSL Certificate Validation Security Weakness vulnerability? This appears to be an issue with not revalidating certificates when loading HTTPS pages from cache.

We have to close vulnerabilities for PCI & Cybertrust certification. We have upgraded users running Firefox to version 7.0.1 but we are still receiving the message: Mozilla Firefox SSL Certificate Validation Security Weakness. Researching the issue, it appears to be related to certificates not being revalidated when loading HTTPS pages from cache. The bug report I found is:

We've already established it is not a add-ons problem but obviously there will be less add-ons in this new profile to help exclude.
Since there is two PC profiles on the PC, I tried the second profile, same problem. Used the RESET FF function on the second PC profile...same thing...even followed the instruct for uninstall &re-install...same problem.
(3) different virus scanners, no hard core problems.

How can I call a report from a jsp page securly? We are migrating from 10g forms to J2EE, and we want to keep using our reports. In forms we were able to do this using a cookie. How can I pass a users credentials to reports without the user having to connect to the database? Single Sign-on isn't an option either.

If you want to pass the user credentials to the report dynamically, then SSO (Single Sign-On) is the only option I can think of.
If the user credentials can be hard-coded, then the following 2 solutions are possible:
1. Use cgicmd.dat file, and write the user credentials in the file.
2. In your report JSP itself, you could write the following:
<rw:report id="report" parameters="userid=scott/tiger@mydb">

Safari will only load secure https pages

Just encountered an issue today where safari will only load secure https pages. Any page that doesn't begin with https gets the "safari can't connect to the server" error. I can connect to all pages using firefox or chrome on the same system. I have emptied cache and reset safari except for password info. Still no luck. Using Safari Version 5.1.7 (6534.57.2) on OSX 10.6.8

Gah nevermind my nephew was using my account and kept clicking the littlesnitch notifications to make them go away. Little bugger managed to block everything on port 80 http. Time to set up a guest account.
