    cpu voltage is typically N/A
about MP, this depend of CPU used, if you have XM chip then you can go over.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 installed?
How far into the opening of the program do you get? Do you get to the Expert or Quick workspaces?
And, if so, how long can you stay there? What are you doing when you get this message, opening a new project
or opening an existing one that has been saved/closed or just trying to launch the program from the desktop icon.
Are you running the program Run As Administrator and from a User Account with Administrative Privileges?
Do you have the McAfee antivirus program? Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer
    with Premiere Elements 12?
What video card/graphics card does your computer use? Have you verified at the web site of the manufacturer of the
card that the video card/graphics card driver is up to date?
If you do not know, check the Device Manager/Display
Adapters to determine if you have 1 or 2 cards.
Depending on your answers, the next step will be
Uninstall the program the usual Control Panel way.
(If you can get into the program long enough to go to Help Menu/Sign Out, please do that to deactivate the program
before going to the uninstall in Control Panel area.)
Do a run through with ccleaner (both the regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts) to get rid of leftovers from
    incomplete uninstalls and reinstalls.
    https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Reinstall the program with the antivirus and firewalls disabled.
(If you have McAfee as the antivirus, that may be problem, and we can take care of that without having to go
    through this uninstall/ccleaner/reinstall.)
Let us start here and then decide what next.
    Thank you.

  • Can I use 4GB RAM on my MSI K8N Diamond with Windows 7?

Can I use 4GB RAM on my MSI K8N Diamond with Windows 7? I have put 4GB DDR 1 in my motherboard but windows 7 says (2.75GB usable)...
    Regards, Jay

It depends highly on how much hardware (add-in cards) you have installed. If you have two VGA-cards, then it's likely that usable memory stays below 3GB. If you take some hardware out, you will see the usable memory increase a bit, but you won't reach the full 4GB. It will go as far as about 3.25 or so.

  • Problem with MSI Board and MSI Geforce 4 with Windows XP

    I have a MSI 845E Max(MS-6566E)
                  MSI Geforce 4 - 420
                  Celeron 1.7 gig
                  Soundblaster Live
                  2 Network Cards
                  and the usual stuff.
I have loaded Windows 98 on my system and it works fine. But then I load Windows XP on and the system starts rebooting. After it reboots my video resets itself and I have to load it back in. I will then reboot and sometimes it will work, sometimes it will not. I try playing a game or even searching the net for awhile, but out of the blue the system will give a very quick blue screen and reboot. And of course when it boots up the video is reset. I loaded all the drivers I could find on MSI's website and used every video driver made by Nvidia and MSI. If I do a Windows XP update to my system the computer will not even boot up. it will just keep rebooting when it is trying to bring up the login screen.  Anyone else run into this with Windows XP?

My system sometime freezes. Why ???

I recently purchased a new battery for my MSI GE60 with the exact same voltage and amperes. I started charging it and discharging but while it was charging the battery just died. • G780 with Windows 8 problems

I just got a G780 laptop with Windows 8 installed.  I'm having some problems and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced them.   About half of the time when I log on, it doesn't seem to load correctly.  Sometimes it won't print, or some programs will not load, the mouse hangs and won't move for a minute or so.  The only remedy is a restart, but when I restartl it hangs and I have to remove the battery.   It's just not working properly.  Anybody else having this problem?  Thanks in advance,  Carole

Yes. I never used it to edit or really ever learned about using it! I only

used to it now. It's weird that out of 5 times, I got it to get my photos
once! But ever since I added the service pack suggested to me, it has done

    1. i always leave my laptop at home open, when i come home. it wont boot anymore.

    3. no indication of led's reading hard drive or something. the only led light is the power led.
    4. i already risk the warranty on my part because i open it thinking that maybe its just a memory problem or hard drive problem.
    5. but still the same.
anyone have idea or same problem with me.
    thanks.

Did you try hard rebooting? Is the AC plugged in? Is the led blinking or just shinning?

  • MSI GE60 OND Fan Issue

Hi, I've just purchased this laptop second hand from a friend and everything is working fine except the fan, I've seen other users on here with the same problem but I couldn't find a solution that made sense to me!!! The fan powers on ok but then starts to go up to full power then back down to almost silent, I've managed somehow, following a step by step guide, to update the bios but I cannot seem to update the EC which sounds like it might fix the problem, every time I download the file from the msi support page it says that its not compatible with 64bit versions of Windows 8?? Has anyone else managed to overcome this problem and have a step by step guide on what they did? Thanks in advance for any help as this is now becoming very annoying.

Which version are you trying to update and how you do the update?
Try to update the EC under DOS mode and don't forget to do the EC reset afterwards.

  • MSI GE60: Downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7

Hi, this is unrelated to the previous topic so I'm creating a new one.
I want to install Windows 7 since 8 is causing me so many problems. I'm having trouble doing so. Let me explain.
I have an old Windows 7 DVD that I got "somewhere" which came with both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows and I suspect that the installer is in 32 bits. When I try to boot up from that DVD it doesn't appear. If I want to make it appear I have to change from UEFI to Legacy but then I can't install the OS because I get this error in every partition (and formatting doesn't help): "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style". I've googled it and long story short I can't install it there because the DVD installer is in 32 bits and I need it in 64bits or something.
I have another DVD I got from Microsoft that lets me boot in UEFI after I disable secure boot (I get signature problems otherwise). When the files have been copied I get the "Starting Windows" message and it hangs up when the animation has not ended. Changing from AHCI to IDE in the HDD lets me see the full animation but it gets stuck at the end.
So with all this, how can I install Windows 7? What's going on? I think I have to use the second DVD and that problem is related to drivers from the HDD probably, but what should I do?

    Quote from: carlosgs91 on 06-September-13, 04:00:52
Yes. It can be done. You can have several OS in the same hard drive. So I have 2 partitions and I try to install Windows 7 in the second one which I delete first and then create & format but I get that error. And the error is because I'm not booting up the installer in UEFI mode (that installer doesn't support UEFI). SO I got a ISO from Microsoft with Windows 7 that supports UEFI and can boot up, however it gets stuck at "Starting Windows" message with the animation not finished.
You are correct, but incorrect. Windows 7 doesn't truly support GPT partitions. Yes, I know, I know, it says it does. Have you ever found someone that has successfully installed it to a GPT? Let me know, since I have not yet found one person that has. Everyone that does try always has some issue booting in the end.
Convert the partition to MBR and you should be able to install just fine, as sus has said.
