MTE Node Collection Missing

I'm currently working on setting up our CCMS alerts and I've noticed that some of the MTE nodes do not have data or analysis methods assigned to them. I can see that on my CEN some are missing but if I go to another server which the CEN is monitoring, they appear. Can anyone tell me why?

There could be 2 reasons why you don't se a data collection method for specific MTE's:
1. The MTE doesn't use an active datacollection method. In that case the application that has to monitored is supplying the monitoring data itself.
2. Someone deleted the methods from RZ21 and RZ20. In that case you have to recreate/import them again.

But when I am going to RZ20 > SAP CCMS Technical Expert Monitors > CCMS Selfmonitoring > <CEN SID>> CCMS_Selfmonitoring > CCMS Agents > <SAPCCM4X.Hostname.00> there Heartbeat and Availability MTE classes are missing. For some systems these are working fine. Please help.

How to display all value of metadata from nodes collection model in content presenter template

first of all the new look of OTN is great.
coming to problem i am facing (i dont know whr to ask here or in portal forum).
i am creating a content presenter template to display list of items.
now as per requirement i need to create a drop down to filter the list.
now while check- in a file author would choose a value in one metadata field lets say xCategory(which is a single select list).
i have to display similar category list on portal to allow user to filter list.
i could hv used view of xCategory but problem is files are targeted to role using ACL. so u see i cant display all category to all users.
also customer wants this whole thing to be Dynamic i.e. they can add value of xCategory later that to could be only for specific role (on portal it should be role specific , author can see whole list not a problem there).
so what i think is if content is given as search result so the category. so now if i can get the all xCategory metedata from 'nodes' collection model in template i can create drop down with out having any additional bean.
somthing like this
#{nodes.xCategory} (but this one is not correct).
please suggest me any solution.

Hi,
you can do all of what you said with JSF. ADF Faces provides drag and drop functionality (have a look at the Web Developer Guide) that allow you to move nodes within a tree. The drag and drop framework sends an event notification to the server with a reference to the changed node.You can also have context menus on a tree node to help users creating, deleting and editing a tree nodes. JavaScript isn't required at all, even if you wanted to drag and drop a row in a table on top of a tree node to create a new tree node.
I just finished a book project in which we explained this usecase. As soon as I find the time, I'll follow up with a blog entry on this as it seems to be a common requirement. However, as mentioned, the web developer guide on OTN explains drag and drop in ADF Faces pretty well.
However, if you choose the "Search" link above, choose JDeveloper and ADF as the product to search for and type drag and drop as the search string, then you get lots of code sample posted in the past to this forum

URGENT:LWF Node is missing: Function INUCD adition to INN1?

Dear Experts,
We have applied Support packages : BASIS - SAPKB62062 and
SAPKB62063
ABAP - SAPKA62062 and SAPKA62063
HR - SAPKE47045 to SAPKE47074
Now in spro LWF node is missing and system is showing an run time error.
I have gone through the SAP note 973398 and done the initial IMG
changes as per note but i couldn't able to do changes in Schema INN1 .
as per note it says:
"Schema changes:
In the standard payroll schema, the payroll
function INLWF is no longer used at sub schema INN1 to compute the LWF
contribution. Instead now payroll function INUCD is called with
appropriate parameters. The schema in all the clients should be
adjusted accordingly."
I tried to change existing INLWF with INUCD but system is asking for
parameter is required, can any one tell me how i can maintain the
parameter.

Hi,
First find out the relevant Function Module from WE57 tcode.
After getting the FM , u see the sorce code mentionjed in the FM which will fill the relevant Segmnets.
Also check the code whtehr it fill the mandatory segment YMMSMBEW.
Mostly this logic is missing in that FM.

Error: Obligatory node 'E1MAKTM' missing in the structure

Hello All
   I extended material master IDOC.
After extending, the segments look like this:
ZMATMAS05
     - E1MARAM
            - ZEXTENDED_SEGMENT
            - E1MARA1
            - E1MAKTM
            - E1MARCM
so on and so forth.
When I create idocs, I get a message saying that the message is successfully sent. When I see in SM58, I see the message "Obligatory node 'E1MAKTM' missing in the structure".
The idoc which is created has E1MAKTM segment, but it is still giving the error.   Am I extending at the wrong position?

makes me just feel that all your segments are at the same level.
but usually the E1MAKTM is a sublevel to E1MARAM
so it should look like this:

- -ZEXTENDED_SEGMENT
- -E1MARA1
- -E1MAKTM
- -E1MARCM
- - -E1MARDM

Obligatory node 'E1KONP' missing in the structure

Hi Experts,
I am extending cond_a04 idoc. am adding the custom segment as the child segment of E1KONH. Am populating the custom fields of this segment in an enhancement in LVKOEF01. This segment is populating and the idoc is successful but its not reaching PI side. In SM58 it shows status text as "Obligatory node 'E1KONP' missing in the structure" and the function module it shows in SM58 is "IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS". Am confused. When sent without this extended segment its reaching PI side. What might be the problem??

they have imported and updated the idoc definition.
Problem solved.
Need to check the structure in IDX. structure in IDX was wrong. when changed this it is reaching PI.Thanks.

Hello,
Scenario is : File - IDOC
I am trying to post the contents of the file into Matmas
The file gets picked and shows up a red color flag with the error : :Obligatory node 'ZMAT_SPO' missing in the structure Matmas04 Matmas04 "
I tried by disabling segment ZMAT_SPO, tried mapping to a constant.
nothing worked
When I copy the payload from moni, and do test in MM, its successful
What could be the problem?

BASE WAGE TYPE:Created base wage type by copying /140
SM30:
table V_512W_D maintained the processing class 20 with specification
3 for wage type basis and checked the cumulation class 40.

I have edited the HR form and transferred the wage type
Schema Changes:
I have made changes to Schema IN00> INN1 we have delimited the old
LWF funaction INLWF and incerted new function as per sap note as
INUCD -
here i have maintained the parameter LWF, basis wagetype , -- and
01 (Universal grouping).
PCR Change : Sytem was throughing an error saying that "STOP: No rule
in key INCS******".
I have copied INCS and created ZNCS incerted basis wagetype init.
now while running payroll error is not there,
but wage type is not appearing either in RT table or in payslip,
has any one come across LWF missing , what are the steps you have followed.
I am missing something.
Please guide me.

SQL Developer Tables Node is missing from when expand connection

Hi,
I'm getting this issue often when I expand the connection node (Oracle DB connection), the Tables node is missing from the object types tree. Even if i close the SQL developer and come back it would be the same.
Is this a known issue? I've seen this both in 3.0 & 3.1.
please advice.

Just as an update: I did not encounter the issue anymore since my last post (ca 1 week) and I did not do any changes to sqldeveloper any more (never did an export / import of connections, no change in version of JDK any more etc.).
I guessed this here could be my issue: SQL Developer: Not able to view tables

I use type "Basic" for all my sqldeveloper connections, so no TNSnames.ora entries containing the line "SERVER=DEDICATED" and I did get same issue also when connection using a custom created user having the DBA role.
Therefore I guess this is here is more likely to be my issue: SQL Developer: Not able to view tables

Very often when I did have the issue I closed SQLDeveloper and used Toad for the rest of the day (or a few hours). Next time launching SQLDeveloper the tables node usually was back again. So this could fit into the picture, right?

Obligatory node 'E1OILKV' missing, Not getting'12'Status fromR/3 to XI Port

I am sending the Customer Master Data from R/3 to XI. I enhanced the Idoctype OILDEB06 to ZOILDEB06. I am getting the message code status as 03. "Data sent to the Port". But if i execute the the Report RBDMOIND. It is not moving to status 12. "Despatch Ok".
I Got the error message in the tRFC as "Obligatory node 'E1OILKV' missing in the structure".
I am able to see the structure E1OILKV in the IDoc with data. But why this error is coming.
Could any one can help on this Issue.

The Idoc is going to the Recieving End only till the General View and Company Code view. E1OILKV Segment comes under the Sales View. Since Sales view is not changed it is not capturing the Change Pointers. If Sales view is avilable in the Idoc it is not going to the XI Port. tRFC gives the error.
We checked for other Idocs Which were enhanced. Those other IDocs{example Cost center,Vendor Idocs} are going.
I tried to send the Standard Idoc OILDEB without the Enhancements. It is going to the XI Port. Once i Send the OILDEB06 With Enhancements. It gives that error.Obligatory node 'E1OILKV' missing in the structure. As i already said, I am able to see Data in this segment using the Idoc editor. But not fully moved to the Configured XI Port.

When using Reference IDs for Conditioning in DMEE you should give node attribute in the 2nd field of the conditioning ....
look the below example

DMEE: node attribute as a comparison value
Definition
Node attribute to be used in a condition. The following values are possible:
1: contents in output format
1A: contents in internal format
2: length

4: counter reading of segments per file (only for DMEE format tree)
5: counter reading of segments with CR/LF (only for DMEE format tree)

Collections Missing Files - Is there a way to fix them all at once?

Hello,
Due to new computer, all files has been moved to a new location.
Obviously, the collections I have can't find them now and reporting "Missing Files".
Now, I need to fix them by finding them folder by folder, and since the collections contains items from many folders, It will take hours to fix them all so I wondered if there is a way to tell Bridge about the new location of the files all at once.
I hope I managed to explain what I'm looking for.

Which OS? If on Windows you can find your Bridge collections list at (win 7 bridge cs6 example):
C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CS6\Collections
The files in Collections folder are .filelist - text xml format. You could copy filelists from the old system's Collections folder to the Bridge AppData Collections folder in your new system so long as all the referenced files listed in the collection filelists are in the same disks and folders on your new system.

Whou00B4s who node is missing

I`m working with a SAP ECC 5.0 version and I have activated the EA-HR extension set (BC set) in order to do the customizing of ESS.
Nevertheless, in the IMG I do not have the "Who´s who" node available.
(I have nodes available to customize other ESS services: eg Benefits and payments, personal data, career and job, etc)
Does anyone know what step could be missing?

Thank you for your guidance but my client is not using the ITS version of ESS. We are customizing a portal 7.0.
Is the node under ITS useful in this case?
I have made some customizing settings in this node (service PZ01) but the changes are having no effects. No customizing order is being generated!
Any suggestions of how to achieve the customizing of this service?

Strange issue in Oracle ASM on Two node RAC where in one ASM node shows all diskgroup while other node shows missing node.

We have Oracle datbase 11gR1 in RAC node with Oracle ASM.Recently our database server got crashed and we are trying to restore back services.
Using Snapshot technologyBusiness copy we had synced all our disk on storage level. Post this when we are trying to start ASM instance on node 1 it is coming and showing all diskgroups but on other node it is throwing errot with missing e diskgroup.
ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15040: diskgroup is incomplete
ORA-15042: ASM disk "5" is missing
Expert please share your views.

The I/O fabric layer on the other node failed to mount all storage LUNs - resulting in ASM being unable to mount a diskgroup as there are missing disks in that group.
Rebooting is exactly what could be needed to reset the h/w and infrastructure used by that node, in order for it to see all the storage disks again. As node 1 sees all storage disks (and is working), the disk itself on the storage system is intact and usable.
What is the o/s? What is the fabric layer? What is used on o/s for dealing with the I/O fabric layer?

Formula node error: missing right parenthesis

Hi NI community,
I am working with the formula node structure for the first time and I came along this error which I can't fix.
It says it finds a # character, but the strange thing is that there is no character. Is there anyone who can help me with this one please?

You are missing a right parenthesis on your first long formula. It is in the last half of the formula. You have two left parenthesis, but only one right.
