Multi server administration MSXOeprator not getting notified via email

I created mutli server jobs and they are working fine except that I don't get any notification via email.
The target and master are configured with DB Mail and it is working fine. But for the multi server jobs.. it isn't.
I tried the operator that exists in both target and master and also the msxoperator.
What am I doing wrong?

I guess this is it:
Enable DatabaseMail on the SQL Server Agent -> properties -> Alert System (check the checkbox), and then restart SQL Server Agent.

PDF attachment not getting sent via email. This occurs intermittently.

Hi All,
There is a concurrent program which sends report on Purchase Orders. The report is sent as a PDF attachment via email.
The report is getting attached sometimes and not getting attached sometimes giving an empty email. Checked the log files and output files of the program and couldnt find any issue. There is no specific time/PO/vendor pattern wherein the program fails.
Please let me know what needs to be done to get this resolved.

I am facing this issue with Oracle 11i - US Purchasing SuperUser responsiblity.
There is a concurrent program which generates a report and then sends the report to printer. The report is not getting stored in a temp file in any directory. It is directly emailed as a PDF attachment.
Sometimes the attachment is getting sent while sometimes it is not getting attached.
Please let me know if any other information is required.

Server side function not get called after dispatching cairngorm event second time on same page

Hi All,
I am facing a urgent issue regarding cairngorm event. Actually my page contain 3 button add,delete,save
and clicking of any button I do the respected functionality. For ex:
I click the add button & on clicking of add button I fire a cairngorm evnt & after getting response from server side that the record is added
I displayed a message that the record is added & update the data source.
After addition of the record , with out going to other page if I perform the same functionaly(Like adding another record) on same page the cairngorm
event not call the server side function - after debugging I find out that cairngorm event reach to the corresponding excutecommand function & called that function but it is not calling my server side function & I also din't get any error message .
I dont know why the server side function not get called?. similarly if I try for delete or update case the same things happend. Only for the first time it works properly but not for the second time.
Could any of you please tell me why the cairngorm event not calling the server side function.

Okay, well I think I've worked out the problem.
In ASP.NET we would typically bind repeating controls such as DataLists and Repeaters manually using <i>Control</i>.DataBind(), because we're usually using a separate class library containing collections for our objects. Seems the SAP Table control doesn't like this approach.
I changed the code so that the databinding is specified on the control, and call the Page's DataBind() method and it all worked fine.
One tip: because the collection I used to bind to is in a separate class library, I receieved a <i>BC306523: Reference required to assembly MyAssemblyName...</i> message, even though I had a reference to the assembly in my project and the DLL is being properly deployed. To fix this, you must include the following directive at the top of the component's ASCX file:
<%@ Assembly Name="AssemblyName" %>

Thread does not get notify

Hello,
I start 10 Threads.
If a thread must wait till recourse are valid then I call wait() method.
If any recourse are valid another synchronized method calls notify() method to wake up the thread.
I have the problem, that some the treads are in wait status and these will never wake up again!
This happens exactly, when I choose for example 10 Threads and 5 recourses, or 8 Threads and 4 resources, etc..
What could be the problem, that some threads do not get notify, even when I use netofyAll() method, the situation is the same!

Most likely problem is that you haven't used synchronized sections properly to manage the flags on which you're waiting.
e.g. notify is being called before wait has done it's thing.

CVP 9.0 (1) - VXML Server service is not getting started

I am installing a CVP 9.0(1) in my lab and the VXML Server service is not getting started; It throws the below error.
From CVP Error logs, I see the following the snippets.
13: 172.16.13.147: May 29 2013 11:53:55.937 -0700: %CVP_9_0_Infrastructure-0-START: No Subsystems have been started. Have you configured your server yet? ; Make sure <CVP_HOME>\conf\propFileList.properties is loading "system" and that <CVP_HOME>\conf\system.properties lists at least one subsystem to load. [id:1033]
Could somebody please suggest on how to fix it.

It should run in Evaluation mode
Each VXML Server requires a separate license, even if the software is installed on the same machine. The
VXML server license is tied to the IP address. If you change the IP address of the server, then you must request
for another license.
When you start VXML Server without an active license (for example, the license is missing, invalid, or
expired) it logs a message to the application server console and startup log to indicate that you need to activate
the license. However, you can still use an unlicensed installation of VXML Server with up to 30 simultaneous
sessions for evaluation purposes. To utilize more simultaneous sessions, activate a valid license of VXML
Server.
You need to look for logs here startup error (C:\Cisco\CVP\VXMLServer\logs) and the OAMP logs

IFS agent does not get notified?

I have an iFS agent which listens for creation and deletion of VersionDescription
instances. I am encountering the following
problems:
1. The agent is not getting notified when a
VersionDescription is deleted.
2. The agent is not gettting notified when
a VersionDescription creation is surrounded
by beginTransaction and completeTransaction.
The agent is getting notified for VersionDescriptions created otherwise (i.e.,
without beginTransaction, completeTransaction). I am using ifs1.1.6. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Interfacing error notified via email

Hi Gurus.
My client is going to implement interfacing between Mercia ( Third party software) to SAP for some functionality.
The requirement is
The business will need to be notified via email or SAP Idoc when an error has occurred with Mercia or SAP that prevents users accessing the Mercia database, weekly schedule run, month end procedures, and any other interface failure. (depending upon the error should determine which method either email or Idoc)
How can user will recieved mail If interfacing program having some error.

try using IDOCMSG business object.
Create a custom event to trigger to workflow. Find out some user exit or BAdi to trigger the workflow.
Then use a send mail step and send a notification to the desired user.

ESB Server connection could not be established via Jdeveloper or using ant

When I try to deploy a ESB project using ant in a remote virtual linux machine
via command mode,I am getting deployment failed message as below suggesting to check whether ESB server is running.

Also when I try to create Appliocation Server connection using opmn port 6003 from my local Jdeveloper,the test connection fails.
While creating Application Server connection in Jdeveloper, the connection Test succeeds when I select Standalone server and
using RMI port 12401.Maenwhile, the Integration Server connection using the above Application Server connection created and port 8888 when tested

Can you try changing the port to 80 while creating connection.

Remittance Advice not getting triggered via F110

Hi all,
I am trying to generate the Remittance advice form via F110, But the form is not getting triggered.
The form name is maintained in the FBZP Paying company codes config.
I have maintained the vairant for the F110 run. The log does not show any errors once i run the Printout.
I am able to generate the form when use program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM in SE38 with the same variant.
Could anyone tell me how to generate the form directly from F110?

Q1: I am getting the same issue with RFFOAVIS. I am able to print the remittance advice via se38, but not from F110. What did you do to fix the problem.
Q2: I created vendor in a comp code and run F110 and then RFFOAVIS to print the remittance - it was in a different format, but when I extended the vendor to another company code and run F110 and RFFOAVIS, the layout was different
Q3: The address on the bottom of the remittance advice is wrong. Expected address is the company code result. Please advice

Infotype 1000, Position data IDOC is not getting created via RBDMIDOC

We are using PFAL styandard HRMD_A message type, while executing RBDMIDOC with message type HRMD_A, all the infotypes data IDOC is created except Infotype 1000 Position(S).
The same is (Infotype 1000, position IDOC is created in dev server) but the same is not getting created in Quality and Prod.
Can any one suggest the same, what could be the error.

You need to check in your filter settings in BD64 for your corresponding distribution model, if you have included IT1000 for PD objects such as O, C, S. After adding this filter group, you have to distribute the source system into the target system (Edit > Model view> distribute). In the target system, you have to generate partner profiles (environment> generate partner profiles).

Chars & kf's related to virtual cube not get updated via multiprovider

Hi Friends,
              I've got one multiprovder, which has got two infocubes, one is 0CFM_C10 & ZRATES, in these one is basic infocube and the other one is virtual cube. So i've built the query on multiprovder which gets data from two infocubes basic and virtual, but when i'm trying to restrict in the query, the chars & kf's which are related to virtual infocube are not getting data, but the chars related to basic infocube getting data.
               NOTE: i've checked virtual cube by choosing the "display data" option, here it is showing, bt via multiprovder it's getting updated, even i can't see the data for those chars in multiprovder also using "display data" option,
what would be the problem? why virutal cube data isn't getting updated?

        Thanx for your replay, actually the chars & kf's related to virtualcube are not in basic cube know! and also the query requirement is to get data from two cubes, i think in that case, not required to restrict at infocube level using 0infoprovider,
             i can be able to see the data in virtual cube, but it's getting vir multiprovider, the assignment in multiprovider is right,
then what would be the problem?

Execute Query in Background get notified per email

Hello together,
In a project we use BSP's to select variable values in a more comfortable way compared to the SAP Standard variable screen.
For some long-running queries (e.g. show all line items in the ODS where the item text contains keyword 'XXX') our users want a button to calculate the query in background and to be notified per email containing the corresponding link as soon as the result is available.
We use BW 3.5, so Information Broadcasting is available, but this does not really solve the problem.
In the Broadcaster, you can specify the variables using the SAP standard variable screen. But of course we want to use our BSP's. In addition, we first want to specify the variable values before we decide whether to run the query online or in batch. And finally, running the query in the background should be a one-click action. This is not possible with Information Broadcasting.
Does somebody know a solution for this problem.
I assume it can be reduced to some magic FB's and methods that have to be called from the BSP to get what we want.
