Multiple Goods Issue documents for single delivery?

Hi
I am getting multiple goods issue documents for single delivery.
In a order there are 3 line items, and one delivery is created and 3 goods issue documents.
What is the probable reasons for this.
The requirement is for one order with n items there should be one delivery document and one goods issue document.
Inputs requested.

Since you havent put the issue in details, I have listed my guessses.
This may be happening due to mainly these three reasons. Please answer them and get back to me.
1) The three Good issue may be happeneing due to split delivery active for the item. If yes then correction should be in the Material master.
2) the availability check scheduled is set in that way. If yes please configure the availability and transfer of requirement.
3) Scheduling of the goods throught that particular shipping point. If yes then please conficgure the shipping tab in Logistic Execution.
Please let me know if the problem persists and award points if solved.
Thanks
Adi

  • Multiple Goods Issues against a single Delivery

I have a requirement where I have a Delivery which has Material A and B as two seperate line items.  I wish to be able to post the GI on two seperate occassions for material A and B but when I try and GI without picking B I get error message VL609 : Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely).
The two materials A and B need to both be on the singel delivery.  SAP std does say that Picking Should = Delivered Qty but this scenario is different.
Any advice or previous learnings would be appreciated.

    Hi Ramki,
The problem is that I would like to GI Item 1 and leave Item 2 unpicked with the original qty it will not allow the GI.
The Sales Order only has the Material A on it and Material B is added only to the delivery at Delivery Creation and hence would like to GI the two line items at different stages.  If I set the Delivery Qty = 0 then @ header level the delivery is set to complete.

  • Posting multiple goods issues against the same delivery

    Hello gurus,
We are a fashion apparel company using ECC 6.0 and would like to know if it is possible to post mutliple goods issues against the same delivery?
I will explain the business requirement.
    - We create a stock transport order to deliver 400 units of merchandise to on or our retail stores (STO is created and processed to a delivery).
    - This information is passed down to our warehouse management system (which is not SAP)
    - Our warehouse management system has the ability to split a delivery into multiple shipment when needed.  For example, our warehouse may only be able to complete 250 units for our morning shipment and will therefore pick, pack and post this.  This will feed back into SAP and process a 641 movement so that the units now show as "in transit".  This is needed so that our stores can process the ASN and move the units into their inventory when they receive the merchandise later that day.
    - During the afternoon, our warehouse will process the remaining 150 units and will ship this to our store later in the evening or next day.
Currently, we are not able to process another goods issue against a delivery as we close out the delivery during the first goods issue.  We would prefer not to have to generate a new delivery for our DC and let them continue to process against the same delivery, but we are unsure how to configure this.
Any help or guideance would be extremely appreciated
    Thanks in advance

    Hi RJ,
First of all sorry to write such a lengthy reply,In one line if i want to summerize then it is not possible with standard SAP however we can achieve this by writing some piece of code in both the system
    AS - IS
                   Business process
From business process point of view you are right that once the pick & pack is in process it is not advisable to create a new delivery document for balance quantity and share the same with WMS as then they have to create a new document in WMS and start picking based on that rather then the old delivery document number. if i am in your position then i can give a thought like this
    e.g.
    Delivery                                                  - 100 Unit
Shipment confirmation from WMS            -   60 Unit
Change in delievry quanity / Pick qty        -   60 Unit
Invoice from SAP                                    -   60 Unit
Second confirmation from WMS                          -   40  Unit
Change in the existing delivery quantity                -   Now here we have two option either
    1) Change the delivery quantity / Pick qty  to (60+40) =100 or
    2) Remove the 60 and update 40 as delivery and pick quantity
    Pros & Cons
if you will select option 1 then furhter invoice will happen for 100 unit which is incorrect as physically you are shipping only 40 unit
if you are selecting option 2 then the document flow is incorrect as you don't have history(in SAP) for the 60 unit which was shipped earlier
    Solution ::
so in my opinion the best option is to create a seperate delivery document (store the old delviery number in one of the field of the new delivery and pass the same to custom segment of the IDoc) transmit the IDoc to WMS write the validation logic in WMS
Find the record with old deliver number in the WMS system, check the status whether it is active or inactive
if it is acitive Validate the Material + qty with the WMS record(Material + balance quantity) if both are same then pass the new deliery number to custom field of the WMS table
At the time of confirming back to the SAP, Write a piece of code in SAP that if the incoming idoc custom field(new delivery number) field is populated then ignore the orignal document number and post the document using the new delivery document number
    Hope this help

  • One Goods Issue document for more than one delivery

    Hi
I would like to know if it's possibile to post one goods issue relative to more than one delivery. Generally the relationship between goods issue and delivery is one to one but we have the necessity to create one global goods issue relative to more than one delivery. Do you know if it's possible? How can we do?
Thank you very much for your attention
    Andrea

    Hi Andrea.,
I dont think it is possible in standard SAp functionality,it may be possible with some technical changes

  • Error Code "-5002" While adding a Goods Issue Document

    Hi,
While adding a goods issue document for only a specific combination of items I get "Internal Error (-5002) occured" message.
The scenario is i am adding 5 rows with following specification
    Row1- Serial Managed Item
    Row2- Batch Managed Item
    Row3- Managed by none
    Row4- Batch Managed Item
    Row5- Serial Managed Item

Hi I had the same Issue,
What my problem solved was setting the baseline number for each serial and batch number on each specific line to the line number of that specific line.
    like this:
    doc.Lines.SerialNumbers.SetCurrentLine(doc.Lines.SerialNumbers.Count - 1);
    doc.Lines.SerialNumbers.InternalSerialNumber = 2;
    doc.Lines.SerialNumbers.BaseLineNumber = doc.Lines.SerialNumbers.Count - 1;

  • VTFL transaction - multiple billing documents for same delivery

    Hi all,
Iam using the transaction VTFL for Order, Delivery and Billing. When the routines 03 and 04 are used, we need to ignore POD ( Proof Of Delivery ). So, for this,  I have used routines 09 and 10. POD issue is resolved. But another issue is raising. When I generate the billing document for the delivery, multiple billing documents are generating. I mean, for some delivery, if already a billing document is created, when we again try to generate the billing document ( VF01 ) for the same delivery or order, it is generating the different billing document.  I need to control this.
Please guide me in this regard,
    Thanking you,
    Regards,

Pl. check delivery for incompleteness, if delivery is incomplete then shippment is not allowing delivery, Check route, vehicle number, vehicle details.

  • Print out issue for Goods issue document

    Dear Friends,
I am trying to take a print out for good issue document (Mov. 541)
    -     Necessary settings have been done in customizing of output details WA01 with print parameters Plant/storage location (also maintained same at config. level)
    -     MN21 master data maintained but every time I have to define output device by changing the document details in MB02
    -     When taking print out inMB90 system proposes no document found for processing
Can anybody help in this regards

If the output TYPE is configured, and created in MN21 but the output record is not automatically created for each document, you may be missing config in <B>Output Determination</B>.  (In MM02, you can select the output type from a drop-down and process without error)<BR><BR>Please check the following:<BR><BR>SPRO path: <I>Materials Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Output Determination > Maintain Output Determination Procedures.</I> <BR><BR>Your output type must be assigned to the procedure used by your document. If it is not here, it will not automatically propose the output record.

  • Post a good issue against an outbound delivery with movement type 601 K

    Hello,
according to my business scenario I need to manage the stock of different vendors into the client's location (plant) at storage location level and I need to post the good issue against an outbound delivery to decrease the stock level.
Since the owner of the goods isn't my client the item is managed only at quantity level (not value) so I'm not interesed in the accounting document.
To do it I'm using the functionality related to the vendor consignment stock but I'm not able to post the good issue against an outbound delivery using the movemement type 601 and the special stock indicator equal to K.
In particular I've tried in two different ways:
    - setup the consignment stock indicator (= K) into the sales item category, but when I post the goods issue the system is not able to find out the right vendor
    - to create a stock determination rule instead of the setting previous described, but the system display an error message (Fld selectn for mvmt type 601 / acct L534200770 differs for Cost center (010) ) even if the accouting is not relevant in my scenario
Can you suggest me how the system has to be setup in order to cover my requirements?
    Thanks in advance,
    Alessandro

    Hi,
Please clarrify which material type you are using in this scenario? I suggest you to use material type UNBW (no value updation will be there) and create a material master.  Use special stock indicator K. Proceed with 601K to do GI. Hope it works. Thanking you.

  • Profit center substitution in Goods issue document

    Hello Gurus
I am determining profit center through the profit center substitution in sales order through 0KEM transaction and activated it in 0KEL as activation 3.
I have taken the fields as sales organization  and sales office with transaction code VA01 and VL02N .
After this the substitution happening in sales order and also in delivery but the substitution is not reflecting in the goods issue document neither coming  for inventory nor in COGS anyway but it is reflecting in the FI accounting document but not for customer but for sales.
Please help me  to with your kind suggestion for resolving this issue.
I need the substituted Profit center also to come in the accounting document of PGI and for customer in FI accounting document.
    Thanks in advance
    Subu

    Hi Subbu
    1. 0KEM works for sales order and related billing.. It does not work for PGI, unless you are in MTO scenario and sales order is CO object
    2. At PGI - Inventory a/c will be Cr with PC in Mat Master... COGS (If not a cost element) will also be Dr with the same PC
If you are in MTO, the COGS will be posted to sales order and hence, it will have the same PC as sales order
    3. During Billing, revenue a/c is Cr with PC in sales order... Customer line is never shown with PC in the line item....
    - If you are on EC-PCA, you need to run 1KEK at month end...
    - If you are on New GL + Doc Splitting, PC will be shown in the "General Ledger View" in customer line item... the "Entry View" wont have any PC

  • Regarding Goods Reversal & Goods Issue Process for PO

    Hi Experts,
Could you any one tel me what is Goods Reversal and Goods Issue process for PO...
How to create the FM & detailed Procedure Pls?....
    Please any one tel me.......
    Thanks & Reagards
    HB

    Hi Hans,
    SOURCE : HELP.SAP
    Purpose
Inventory Management uses this process in such a way that the goods issue posting is divided into two parts that run in separate systems. Posting the GI document in the supplying plant results in a message to the receiving plant. The receiving plant then performs a complementary posting. The physical goods receipt takes place as usual.
    Prerequisites
When using batch processing, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
Both the original and target systems have the same batch definition level.
The batch definition level is either the material or the client.
An ALE scenario exists for materials and classes (characteristics).
    Unique batch numbers exist cross-system.
Batches can only be changed in their original system when they are not decoupled. From an organizational point of view, this must also lead to the batch status being changeable in a local SAP R/3 system. For example, this is impossible when transfer posting to a new batch and results in further actions, for example, relabeling containers, palettes and so on.
    Characteristics
As for the purchase order in a one-system situation, the system should automatically post the material into the stock in transit at the receiving profit center and the corresponding Profit Center Accounting using intra-CC transfer prices at goods issue for the purchase order and the unchecked delivery. This requirement is valid for one-system situations as well as for two-system situations where there is an ALE interface. No internal billing document should be created.
In a two-system case, the receiving profit center should be derived at goods issue from the unchecked delivery. Profit Center Accounting then takes place with
Stock change transfer price to stock
    Internal expense to internal sales
Internal clearing account to stock change transfer price.
Account determination in a purchase order for an intra-company-code transaction must be different from account determination in external transactions. Automatic GR/IR account clearing is required in both one-system and two-system situations.
The stock in transit must be visible in the receiving profit center.
The system must send a shipping notification at goods issue in one-system and two-system situations.
You need to create an invoice document for the internal and external trading statistics for cross-boundary deliveries as well as for customs purposes.
    GR/GI slips are created.
    Process Flow
Goods Issue Posting for Stock Transfers
The delivery triggers the goods issue in the issuing system.
The call contains the stock transport order data known in the delivery, including the PO item and the logical system of the recipient.
The transaction (quantity and value updates) is selected using the movement type:
    Movement Type
    Function
    641
Goods issue with UB logic (Creation of stock in transit at recipient, immediate value posting).
    647
As 641, however the goods receipt line (movement type 101) is added automatically, so that the goods receipt is posted at the same time as the goods issue (one-step procedure).
You determine the movement type according to the schedule line category in Sales and Distribution. The goods issue for a cross-system stock transfer must be different from the integrated transaction. This is achieved by adding a new movement type.
You post quantities and values at goods issue in the same way as a goods issue for a sales order. That is to say, the quantity is posted in the supplying plant and the value is adjusted to that of the stock account. The offsetting posting is made to a clearing account. The known data from the delivery is copied to Accounting to balance the account where necessary.
The system creates a message to the appropriate receiving system for all items with reference to a cross-system purchase order. The system does not perform any validity checks on the recipient’s data before posting begins. Incorrect Customizing results in the update being terminated.
If a goods issue has receiving plants in different logical systems, an IDoc is sent for each system.
In order that the goods receipt is able to use the values on the receiver side, you must add the values used to post the goods movement, in particular the transfer prices, to the IDoc.
The logic for recognizing the profit center switch functions as follows: At goods issue, the system recognizes that the profit center of the issuing plant is different from the profit center of the receiving plant. The system derives the profit center node from the relevant profit center.
    Data Transfer
The IDocs sent by the issuing plant trigger the goods issue postings in the receiving plant.
Background Posting in the Receiving System
The goods receipt is posted in the receiving system using the IDoc. The interface receives the data from the goods issue in the supplying plant. The following processes now run at the recipient:
The system finds the update control for the GR part of the posting.
The goods movement is posted with the new movement type.
During valuation of the goods receipt, the system might, where necessary (UB logic), refer to the values (legal value and the value from the parallel valuation type, if you are using the transfer price function) from the IDoc.
The PO history is updated. The PO history is updated with the material document number from the second part of the GI posting. The GI document number is not stored in the supplying plant, because there is no way to display this document.
In two-step procedures the goods receipt is posted to the stock in transit.
    Reversal
You can only reverse this goods issue for the PO using the cancellation transaction in SD. You cannot reverse the GI in Inventory Management.
The material document that is automatically created in the receiving system cannot be canceled. This reversal is triggered by the sending system (the actual reversal of the GI document takes place there) and transmits the data, including the reversal movement type, to the receiving system. No actual reversal is posted in the receiving system, because the material document number of the original document does not exist in this system. This scenario is applicable for cases where you use the two-step procedure (with stock in transit).
Distribution of Batch Master Data and Characteristics
The batch information is transported using the message category BATMAS.
When you create a cross-system goods issue, the system creates the corresponding IDoc using the message category BATMAS.
When the delivery arrives in the target system, the batch and all the information is already present in the system.
Changes to the batch data are also distributed using the message category BATMAS.
The batch can be decoupled in the receiving SAP R/3 system. This means that the batch can have a different status in the receiving system than in the original system. By setting an indicator at material level, you decide whether the batch can be decoupled or whether the batch and all its attributes are copied from the original system. "Decoupled" i.e. "locally independent" batches are no longer distributed from its own system.
The batch data does not need to be available before the physical goods receipt takes place. The goods receipt into the stock in transit does not usually refer to the batch unless you are working with batches with assigned active ingredient values.
If the GI cannot be posted for organizational reasons, for example because the goods cannot be loaded onto a truck until 10pm, then you can post the goods into the GR blocked stock. This stock is also non-batch-specific.
In cases where the GI IDoc arrives before the batch IDoc, then the GI IDoc can be subsequently posted by a periodically scheduled report (transaction BD87). A program like this exists in the SAP standard system. In Customizing for MM Inventory Management (activity Copy, Change Movement Types), you should make settings to define that manual creation of batches at goods receipt is not allowed.
    Shipping Notification
The shipping notification is required in the receiving system due to its relevance for MRP. In this way, for example, a change in delivery date determined at goods issue is sent to the receiving system using the shipping notification. The shipping notification can also be used when posting the GR batches.
    Reward if found helpfull,
    Cheers,
    Chaitanya.

  • Regarding Goods Reversal and Goods Issue process for Production orders

    Hi,
    I have a issue regarding <b>Goods Reversal</b> and <b>Goods Issue</b> process for <b>Production orders</b>.
Actually I am having a Z - Function Module in that i am passing <b>production order number other details</b> to
    make the <b>Goods Reversal</b> happen.
The code for the above is as below:
                       i_mvtit-material      = wa_mdfa-matnr.
                        i_mvtit-plant         = i_resb-werks.
                        i_mvtit-spec_stock    = 'Q'.          "New

                        i_mvtit-batch         = i_resb-charg. "New
                        i_mvtit-orderid       = i_resb-aufnr.
                        i_mvtit-spec_stock    = i_resb-sobkz.
                        i_mvtit-entry_qnt     = i_resb-enmng.
                        i_mvtit-entry_uom     = i_resb-erfme.
                        i_mvtit-entry_uom_iso = i_resb-meins. "New
                        i_mvtit-wbs_elem      = v_frwbs.

                        i_mvtit-gr_rcpt       = i_resb-aufnr. "New
                        i_mvtit-reserv_no     = i_resb-rsnum.
                        i_mvtit-res_item      = i_resb-rspos.

                            goodsmvt_item   = i_mvtit
                            return          = i_return.
The Above code does the <b>Goods Reversal</b> but then i will update one Z Table with fields like
Production Order Number[AUFNR], Number of Reservation[RSNUM], Item Number of Reservation [RSPOS], Material Number [MATNR], Requirement Quantity [BDMNG], WBS element[PSPNR] etc. If Above BAPI runs sucessfully.
    That is happening correctly.
But Then actual issue is i have do <b>Goods Issue</b> for those Z-Table records.
There i will give Production order Number's & Storage Location in Selection-Criteria.
Then i need to do <b>Goods Issue</b> for that order.
The code i had written as follows.
    * POPULATE VALUES FOR BAPI CALL

    Hi,
    Thanks boss.
    It is working now correctly.
The issue is the  i_mvtit-XSTOB should be equal space in case of Goods issue while incase of Reversal it should be equal to X.
    Thanks for ur efforts.
    I had awarded you points.
    Thanks a lot.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Print Batch No. in Goods Issue Document

    Hello,
in SBO Version 2007 it is now possible to print batch no. directly in marketing documents.
Is it also possible to print batch no. directly in the goods issue document???
If I use the same system variable like in the marketing document (system variable 492) I get an error.
    Thanks for help.
    Jacqueline

    Jacqueline,
I believe this option is only available for the sales/purchasing but not the stock transactions and you can't use the same variables for these. For the stock transactions the separate serial/batch transactions report will be printed.

  • Single invoice reation for single delivery VL06P, VL06F

here we hav a scenario that if a delivery contains materials with different tax codes, then in vl06p and vlo6f transaction automatically splits the delivery items into different invoices according to the tax codes. i have to display the error when there are more than one invoices for single delivery. here the users use transaction VL06P and VL06F for processing the deliveries into invoices. the deliveries are selected collectively and then processed. so i want that while collective processing of the deliveries, if some delivery has more than one invoices, it should display the error mesage and allow the user to go to the next delivery and process the subsequent deliveries, skipping the deliveries with different tax codes.
please help me in modifying the standard module program. the user exits and all.
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
In the test of invoicing, check the reasons of splitting.SAP Note 11162 - Invoice split criteria in billing document will help you.

    Hi,
"ECC-WM functionality supports creation of  single TO for multiple delivery lines having the same material."
I would really be surprised if this is any standard functionality? So I also don't expect this in EWM...

To detail what I mean and because you specified this in another mail: a single TO is possible, but not a single TO item. And the same is for EWM. You might get a single WO, but not a single WT.
