Multiple Sold-to-Parties in Organizational Model

Dear All,
I've made an Organizational Model with multiple Sold-to-Parties. With that the same amount of Distribution Channels and Divisions have to be maintained, which i have done.
The problem now is that i can't seem to maintain the relation of those Distribution Channels and Divisions with the Business Partner in the Sales area Data of the Sold-to-Party in transaction BP. I can only choose between the original Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, and Division.
The only thing that has changed is that it isn't called Distribution Channel 01 / Division 01 anymore, but the name i gave it. That is the strange part too, since that's done in the same transaction where i've added the other Distribution Channels and Divisions too.
Hopefully anyone can tell me how the Distribution Channels and Divisions i've added will show up in the Sales Area Data in order to link them to the Sold-to-Party.
Thanks in advance,
R.Kunst

Hi Gun. and Jay.
Thanks for both of your reactions, you're both thinking in the same direction as I am, and where I think we should look for the solution to this problem...
Gun: You've understood me right and yes, I've already tried exactly what you've told me, but that doesn't work somehow.
What I mean by the line you didn't understand is this:,I've made changes to the Distribution Channel and Division that were already provided by SAP, and those changes show up in the Sales Area Data. The Divisions and Distribution Channel I've added don't show up though. So i know I've changed the settings in the correct Transaction, but they still don't show up.
Jay: I've also tried what you're telling me, because I think that should be the right way too, but that didn't work and I don't know why...
Hopefully we can find an answer to this together since I've already heard from more people who have encountered the same problem.
Best Regards,
Reinier Kunst

  • Service Contract Determination - Multiple sold-to-parties

    Hello Gurus,
Can anyone help me on understanding this:
We know that in standard configuration, the sold-to party in the service contract and in the business transaction must be identical.
But It is possible to change someting so that we can assign a service contract to multiple sold-to-parties?
There must be a workaround to do this. Does anyone tried it?
    Thanks and regards,
    Bruno Garcia

    Hello Ashwin,
We're using IC Webclient at our customer Call center. We register all contacts made in Interaction Record document, and all service requests in Service Ticket Document.
What we're trying is to define the same SLA agreement for all sold-to-parties partners. We did all configurations relationated with service profile, response profile, product and service contract.
However, SLA calculation only works if the sold-to-party partner of service ticket is the same that in the service contract. So that's why we put this question here.
We already tried to use CRM_SERVICE_CONTRACT and CRM_SRV_SLA_CALCTIME BAdI's, but no luck: they also seem to depend on this verification.
What we're trying to do is to skip this verification. We need to calculate the SLA for all service ticket, no matter what sold-to-party partner is.
Do you think this is achievable?
    Thanks in advance,
    Best regards

  • Customer rebate-one payer with multiple sold-to parties

I create one rebate agreement with payer A0001 and put two conditions
one is sold-to party A0001 with rate 20%
one is sold-to party A0001A with rate 15%
but when I create billing for sold-to party A0001A  I found that condition type is not 15% but 20%.
In one rebate it is possible that multiple sold-to parties having their own accural rate?
If this is possible do I need to do some customizing for it?
when I checked rebate agreement, in verification level I can see there is accural amount for sold-to party A0001& A0001A
but if I want to pay and create credit memo, I found that all the amount come to A0001 and A0001A max amount is 0.
can anyone give me any suggestions why it is like this.
    thanks.

    Hi There,
This definitely is possible....but the spoiler is that a little bit of enhancement is required and this is why.,
If the rebate was a combination of Payer and Ship to party, then it is standard since in the Rebate cond structure, SAP has given separate fields for KUNNR (customer - either Payer or sold to) and KUNWE (for ship to). So in your condition table, you can have KUNNR and KUNWE for Payer and Ship to combo. I have used this in a project and that works fine as standard.
Now if you want to have your percentage defined as per the Payer and Sold to combo, you need to make a small enhancement here.
You will have to Add a field, say, ZZKUNNR in Str KOMK and KOMG. Then use the user exit mv45fzz to populate the value of the Sold to in the sales order to this ZZKUNNR field.
So now you can use these 2 fields, standard KUNNR to take from Payer (KNRZE) and ZZKUNNR to take the value of sold to. Create a new Cond table, use this condition table in an access seq, use this acc seq in your rebate cond type and maintain records and you should be ready to test that.
    Hope this helps.

    hi guys,
one ship to party is assigned to multiple sold to partys. If ur customers (SP /SH) are in same sales area. Then u create multiple sold to parties and create one ship to party . finally go to CMR (SP) sales area details then goto patner functions here u maintain ur Ship to party (CMR) for Sold to party customer . When u create Sales order for ur Sold to parties then automatically pop comes to ur Ship to party. If ur sales areas r different its possiable only userexit or field exit.

  • Copying New Sales Orgs To Sold To Parties

We are planning to create a new sales org. to replace an existing Sales Org.
The existing Sales Org stay and will be run in parallel with the new sales org. until phased out.
All Sold-To Parties under the existing Sales Org will also need the new Sales Org assigned to them.
Is there a way of giving these Sold-To Parties the new Sales Org i.e. through a program?
    Any advice appreciated.
    Many thanks
    David

    Hi,
CRM is used with R/3 as the back end system.
The Sales Org assignment however is driven from CRM.
I find it hard to believe that there is no way of creating the sales org assignment in multiple Sold-To Parties because this kind of thing must happen many times with SAP implementations where an old sales org in an old company code is superceeded with a new one.
One action suggested to be was to change the Sales Org Number in PPOMA_CRM against the existing Sales Org and then do a CRMM_BUPA_SEND for the Sales Orgs in this Org structure, then change it back to the old number, but this sounds a tad dodgy.

  • Multiple Currencies Used in Organizational Model

    Hi,
is there any way i can maintain multiple currencies for different organizational units?
let's say, org unit A uses USD and org unit B uses EUR.
because what i understand, once i assigned the currency at the root of the organizational model, it will be inherited to all organizational units bellow.
    Thanks.
    JD

In Tcode OOATTRCUST, for your attribute, you can tweak the inheritance characteristics to be either:
I think Option O ( Local values overwrite inherited values ) should do the trick for you.
Let me know how it works!!!

  • Number range of BP in the Organizational Model

    Hi
I created in the transaction PPOCA_CRM my Org.Model when i save de data the system assign a number of BP to the unit, but i have two different Number Range; one to create BP's type 3 that is internal range and the second one i want to use for de Organizational Model but when i save de data the system assign the first one. (Note that the second one is internal too)
Do you know any transaction where i could configure what number range the system have to take when i create the Organizational Model??
    Thanks in advanced
    :P

    Hi Susana,
Unfortunately there is no unique transaction that allows the system to distinguish between CRM Organizational Unit and Business Partner assignments. Transaction BUCF is the transaction that you would go to create the number range assignments to busines partners. Whatever range you designate as the Internal Standard Grouping will be used to assign Org Unit BP Numbers as well as other business partners that utilize internal number assignment. What happens is that once you designate an internal standard group assignment in CRM that number range will be used for all assignments whether that is for Business Partners, Org Units, etc. You do not have the option to create multiple Internal Standard Group references.
If you have a requirement to assign a unique number range to an Organizational Unit different than the business partners you create, some development will be necessary. I'm not sure how complex this will be, but I can imagine it won't be easy as you are restricted to only one internal standard grouping. Hope this helps.

  • CRM - HR - SD Organizational Model

We are integrate CRM and HR in part of the organization management.
Organizations and persons transfer from HR to CRM periodically via IDOCs. Ok.
We use persons in the activities.
Now in the business activities we want determine the organizations as Responsible Organizational Unit (Sales) and Sales Office.
But, I dont know how I can implement both HR and SD-organization model in CRM???

    Denis
i think there would be only one organizational data store in CRM. You can opt to bring either the Sales Organization structures or the HR structures into CRM, but they will be stored in one source only. Then you can build your rules around this data to determine during the business transactions.
As Brad pointed out, normally the structures are borrowed from SD side of R/3 as who knows better about the sales orgaizations/sales distribution channels/sales divisions/sales offices/sales groups etc than the SD in R/3. HR's primary controlling functions are about the positions, roles and idnetification of employees. This data is replicated into CRM as BP in the roles of employees.
So the best practice is sales structures from SD and employees from HR.
    reward if you like.

  • Issues with Organizational Model in CRM

    Hi guys,
We are implementing CRM 5.0 and I generated Organizational Model in system using Report: CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE. This report generated organizational model with no errors. But there is a issue with org model:
In our R/3 system same sales office are assigned to multiple sales area and same salesgroups are assigned to multiple sales office due to this in CRM when the org model generated it only assigned the sales office and sales group to sales org 1000 however sales org 2000 and 3000 left unassigned.
    eg:
    R/3:
    Sales office assigned to
    sales area: 1000   10   10
                           001
                           002
                           003
                     2000   10   10
                          001
                          002
                          003
    And after generation in CRM:
    Sales org: 1000
                      sales office: 001
                                        002
                                        003
    Sales org:  2000
no sales office or sales org assigned.
When I am trying to create it manually then it gives me an error: "attribute_R/3_SA_ORG with value xyx already assigned".
    Did anybody faced similar issue?
I even ran the report for to change the org model to enhanced version but it didnt helped.
    Please give your suggestions.
    Thanks
    Ankit

    Hi Ankit,
Its common that the sales office are only assigned to the first sales organiz unit in
CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM. The same for the sales groups that are only assigned under the first sales office unit in CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM.
No mather, the important thing is that under Function tab > Sales office tab, for a sales office, the system has all the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
And the same under Function tab > Sales group tab, for a sales group, that must contain the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3 sales office, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
In this way, you have the structure like:
    SALESORG1001
       SALESOFFICE 1100
           SALESGROUP 100
       SALESOFFICE 1200
       SALESOFFICE 1300
    SALESORG1002
    SALESORG1003
But inside SALESOFFICE 1100 details you have something like:
    Sales office tab:
    R3 sales org | R3 DC | R3 Div
    1001              10         01
    1002              10         01
    1003              10         01
And under Sales Group 100 you have something like:
    Sales group tab:
    R3 sales org | R3 Sales Office | R3 DC | R3 Div
    1001              1100                  10         01
    1002              1100                  10         01
    1003              1100                  10         01
    1001              1200                  10         01
    1002              1200                  10         01
    1003              1200                  10         01
    1001              1300                  10         01
    1002              1300                  10         01
    1003              1300                  10         01
    Hope it helps,

  • Organizational Model

    Hi Gurus
Can any one tell me in detail , how the organizational Model is created and why it is done. If possible , could anyone explain with some real life examples.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
An organizational model models the functional organizational structure of your company. Organizational units represent functions such as department, group, etc. Positions show how tasks are assigned to jobs, e.g. end user, purchaser or message processor.
In Scenario Service Desk you can use the organization model for building and retrieving the support team and the Sold-To-Party.
First you have to create with transaction PPOCA_CRM a root organization unit for your support team and antotherone for the company organization.
Then you can build the structure of your support team respectively your company organization. Therefor u use transaction PPOMA_CRM.
    *Example-Structure:*
    - Support Team Company
    -- Support BC
    --- Support Employee 1
    --- Support Employee 2
    -- Support FI
    --- Support Employee 3
    --- Support Employee 4
    -- Support SD
    --- Support Employee 5
    --- Support Employee 6
    -- etc.
    - Company Organization Company
    -- Busines Unit 1
    --- Finance & Controlling BU1
    Employee 10
    Employee 11
    --- Logistics BU1
    Employee 12
    Employee 13
    --- etc
    -- Busines Unit 2
    --- Finance & Controlling BU2
    Employee 20
    Employee 21
    --- Logistics BU2
    Employee 22

  • Determining Organizational Model information for a BP

I am currently working on a report development where there is a requirement to show both Territory and Organizational Model information.
For Territories, it's a simple matter of using the available function modules to determine a Sales Person and their area for a particular customer post-code. Finding similar information for a Service Engineer maintained in the Organizational Model is proving very difficult.
Is anyone aware of any functional modules i could use to determine this information using just BP information (i.e. post code, partner number, etc)??
I understand that i would have to determine the Sales Area information before being able to fetch the Service Org, Team, Territory etc information. Having searched for function modules within CRM and on multiple forums, i haven't found a way of doing this.
This is the first time i've worked on Organizational models so any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Indi,
I dont know about what kind of data you require, but i think this FM would be useful
    CMS_BUPA_ORGDATA_GET_BL.
Also for details of an org can be obtained for a CRM_ORGMAN* any of the FM.

  • Enhanced Organizational Model

    Hi Experts,
We have switched to the Enhanced Organizationa model. After this, We have downloaded Organizational Model from ECC using the program CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE. Report result shows the multiple assignments for Sales groups to the Sales offices. but in PPOMA_CRM transaction, these assignments are not visible. Any specific reason for this?
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Amit,
    thanks for response,
we have downloaded the Org model, All the Objects were created and visible in PPOMA_CRM. even Multiple Assignments of sales groups to the sales offices are visible in report results and the table HRP5551A, but they are not visible in the PPOMA_CRM transaction.

What is the procedure for generating an Organizational Model using a report?

    Hi Everyone,
I want to generate the Org. Model for sales in CRM with data in R/3. Normally, the sales offices are assigned to multiple sales area. I understand that this is possible in CRM through the enhance Enhanced Backend Integration Version. I was wondering which task should I perform first: switch to Enhanced Backend Integration Version or generate the sales Org. Model from r/3? I'd appreciate your reply. Points would be rewarded. Thx

  • DBM 6.0 - Extending Parts to Vehicle Models

    Hi,
In DBM 6.0, can we link the Parts to the vehicle models. If yes, can we have a one-to-many linking between the Parts & the vehicle models.
    Thanks & regards
    Prahlad

    Dear Prahlad,
Would you please clarify on these questions here?
Are you talking about the VEHI type material that is linked to Model master or regular HAWA type parts?
If it is VEHI related Materials, Yes, 1 material can be used in Many models, but that should purely be based on business needs and not as a thumb rule.
If your question is about spare parts (HAWA type materials), NO.
No materials are linked to Model Master. Search in Orders is determined by Organization units and the material group to the item category.
Third one is Features onto Vehicle model/Master.
Any features can be linked to N number of Models and Masters. SO, there is no restriction on the 1-n or n-1 mapping.
    Hope this answers your question.
