My account was switched by remote control, now Verizon won't switch it back!

Hello, I signed and gave a verbal agreement for a 2 year contract to Verizon FiOS for triple play bundle. My price after taxes was supposed to be 114 per month and it was for 04/2015 until 04/2017. On 6/22/15 Verizon claimed someone in my home upgraded my package via remote control. It was not me nor my wife. It is possible it was my 7 year old daughter however I cannot be sure. This new package will cost me 135 per month approximately. I called Verizon immediately that night and asked for it to be removed. I was told my a sales person that it would be. When I discovered I still had channels I was not supposed to I called back. I was told that there was no way to remove this package and I would have to pay the new amount. My monthly charge has now gone up 21 dollars per month which would be a total of 462 for the life of the contract. All I was offered was a credit of 10 dollars per month. I did not agree to any of this and feel it is wrong, illegal and unethical. These remote controls should come with built in locks and be agreed upon by the homeowner!!!! I am looking at Time Warner right now to see what they can do for me and I will be filing complaints with the BBB, FTC and the NY Attorney General.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Remote control agent icon won't go away

Our ZEN 4.01 agent workstations are fine.
These are on the 6.5 SP1b agent pc's.
The workstation remote agent icon shows up
So I made a NEW workstation policy with the 6.5 SP1b snapins and set it
to NOT show the icon.
I associated it to the workstations container (and thus "unassociated"
the 4.0x policy).
I rebooted the pc and let it login and ConsoleOne shows that it IS
associated to the correct policy. And I've viewed effective policies to
make absolutely sure (the policy for remote control, BTW is under the
General section)
I rebooted the pc again (so that the policy would take effect).
Still no go.
I've enabled the debug logs and the workstation IS imported/registered
(although the AWI on the server doesn't show the "updates", but that may
be due to the log level I chose).
The RMPol.Log file however, shows this:

Yep, able to duplicate it.
There's "something" in the 4.91 client that causes the ZEN agent to not
"authenticate" to eDir and I'm not sure what, but at this time I'll open
an incident with Novell.
Ironically, it "comes and goes" when the 4.91 client is installed, but
it never happens (so far) with the 4.90 SP1a client.

This particular error means that the Schedule has to be deleted before making changes to the backup device. You have to delete the schedule before trying to make IP address change on the existing backup device, or you could create a new backup device and schedule altogether.

Locked my iPhone remotely and now it won't unlock.

After locking my iPhone remotely with "Find my iphone"/www.me.com), I unlocked it with my phone. Next I went into the settings and switched the code to a new one. Later I went to unlock my phone and the newest code wouldn't work but the old remotely assigned code did work. The next time I unlocked it, the latest code worked (after 2 attempts) but the remotely assigned code did not. Now, neither code work and I can't get into my phone. What should I do? Thanks!

I know exactly what your problem is. I think. Anyway, when you do the remote locking with Find My iPhone, on the computer it asks you to put in a passcode. You must type that passcode into the iPhone in order to get it to unlock! If you can't remember what that passcode is, do another remote lock with a new passcode and than try that new code in the iPhone.

Can you login using a Web Browser?
In Mail's Window Menu, choose Connection Doctor, any red dots for status, if so what is the exact message?
Then click the Show Details button & Check again.
The Password rejection can confuse people since it's a catch all meaning...
This Password, Username, Authentication method... is not recognized on this Port to this Server, or a server end problem.
If using a browser to login via WebMail works it's not Name or Password, but one of the other ones.
The receiving email ports are:
IMAP is port 143
IMAP-SSL is port 993
POP is port 110
POP-SSL is port 995
Outgoing ports are...
SMTP and SMTP-SSL is on ports 25, 587 and 465. Port 587 has to be SSL, and port 465 is enforced TLS-wrapped and is generally used by Outlook users.

Help with itunes - was locking up and uninstalled now it won't work at all

Last week, every time I connected my iphone it would lock up during the sync. So this weekend I uninstalled every apple product on my computer so that i could get a clean install. Now, nothing will open. i've reinstalled itunes, etc at least 4 times. It won't open, I keep getting an error message.

What does that mean?

That one is usually caused by a misplaced older version of QTCF.dll.
If you've got a 32-bit vista, first look to see if there's a copy of QTCF.dll lurking in your C:\Windows\system32\ folder. If you find one there, drag it out onto the desktop.
If you've got a 64-bit vista, first look to see if there's a copy of QTCF.dll lurking in your C:\Windows\sysWOW64\ folder. If you find one there, drag it out onto the desktop.
Now try launching iTunes again. Does it launch properly this time?
