MMy calendar heading each month shows last month till the middle of the current month - e.g. It still shows as February eeven today on 27 March!

I don't know what service options are available in India but if this helps I do know that once you purchase your Apple product the warranty is valid anywhere in the world.

I have an alias of one of my external hard drives in my trash. When I click on "show original" all my external H D 's and my Mac hard drive show up. How do I delete this icon from the trash without loosing all my files?

I have an alias of one of my external hard drives in my trash. When I tried to delete it, it showed that I was deleting 80,000 files and counting. I stopped the delete process and when I clicked on "show original" all my external H.D.'s and my Mac hard drive show up. How do I delete this alias from the trash without loosing all my files? When I tried to drag it back to the desk top, it just made a duplicate and remained in the trash. When I turned off the external H.D., the trash was then empty. Tried rebooting the computer and then turning the external hard drive back on and the alias shows up in the trash again. Much help appreciated.

In Finder's Menu, select Go menu>Go to Folder, and go to "/volumes". (no quotes)
Volumes is where an alias to your hard drive ("/" at boot) is placed at startup, and where all the "mount points" for auxiliary drives are created for you to access them. This folder is normally hidden from view.
Drives with an extra 1 on the end have a side-effect of mounting a drive with the same name as the system already think exists. Try trashing the duplicates with a 1 or 2 if there are no real files in them, and reboot.

same problem for me. I am using abe edition 3 as I don't think 4 can be used with kobo. Book has been downloaded to kobo but it can't be read as it is not authorised.Help please

This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

Oh my gosh. This worked perfectly!!!
After allowing the changes, I just had to open the apps again (such as Instagram), then the pop-up asking to allow access to Photos appeared!
And I thought I was going to get rid of my iPhone 4 already because of the issue.

My Nano skips in the middle of a song to the next song.

My ipod will skip in the middle of a song to the next song. It also gives a little iconic sound when doing so. If I push the back button, it goes to the menu page.

My son has just come to me in the last day complaining of the same problem on his Nano that he has been using nonstop since Christmas... He says it just all of a sudden started...& now continues whenever he uses it... He first thought it was the headphones... but they checked out fine... I'm not receiving any e-mails, I don't know what e-mail address it is so I check them all...NOTHING. I was forced to create a new ID only to discover all the Apps I've paid for on iPod won't sync, songs..same thing. I've created a new apple id. When I type in the old ID a msg says it exists..BUT WHERE IS IT!????? Why the **** does APPLE MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT? I mean the amount of times you have to re-enter your password is bloody ridiculous. Security CRAP. Online banking is more user friendly. I have eyestrain from reading all the data they have so you can solve the problem. I don't have the TIME! I have a sony handicam and I imported the clips to iMovie and they lost quality and converted the audio to stereo. I want to import the project to final cut X and import the AVCHD in 1080p and surround sound and export the movie in bluray. Can I relink the clips without editing everything again?

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing. If you want to remove them all then normally you could just sync an empty folder (in terms of photos) to the iPad, but as you don't want to sync at the moment you can't do that.
You can reset the iPad back to factory settings and start from scratch with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings

I have the same problem. I've tried to restart my Ipad and downloaded the book again several times but nothing has changed. There aren't any reviews on the book with that problem and I've got the latest version of iBook so I don't know what else I can do to get the book which I've paid for. Does anyone have another idea what I could do? (maybe one of the above might help you, Paul)

For transfers to occur, you must be using wifi and the photo app must be shut down. It may also take some time for photos to sync across, and many users claim thier photos don't sync via photo stream. My impression is that photo stream is still beta, given the problems with it.

Are you able to go back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ?
